Moe's slings some decent grub. I had three tacos last night, two hard shells and one soft tortilla, all with ground beef. There are all sorts of toppings available, but for this round I stuck with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. These were superior in every way to the fare at other local pseudo-Mexican eateries...filled with so much meat, in fact, that there was scant room for anything else in the crispy shelled tacos. When I return, I'll be opting for all soft tortillas, since they are able to accommodate much more filling. It would be nice if there was more hot sauce options. I don't know if it was because I went a half hour before closing, but all I saw was salsa verde, regular salsa, and a bottle of proprietary Moe's hot sauce that was okay (quite hot, too!). My tab for three tacos and a bottle of Yuengling was right at $10, which is very reasonable. I'm not a regular, but Charles B. mentioned a recent price break for sour cream...as far as I could tell, I was not charged anything for asking for it, and they glopped a heaping tablespoon on each taco. Beginning on 2/28, burrito night moves from Wednesdays to...Monday, I think. I was starving and didn't stand there gawking at the sign board long enough to remember the new day...I was ready to order and get my grub on.

We don't have a Chipotle here so Moes is definitely ones of my favs in town. They have good food, quick and cheap. The only thing they are missing is a great hot sauce! Or even a good mild hot sauce, the mild tastes like basically tomatoes with seasoning. Now don't get me wrong, it's good but not spicy! My husband loves this place just for the drink machine. It's one of those freestyle coke machines where you have the choice of like 200 flavors, coke vanilla, cherry coke, etc.

It's a Moe's. Better than going to Taco Bell obviously and more expensive. It's connected to Cordova Mall, so it's not going to be quiet. It was good food with a polite staff.

Great food, descent pricing, and you can even grab a beer with your meal! Definitely a place worth checking out if you are not from the east coast! I hope I can stop by one more time to try something else :-)

Moe's is my favorite lunch spot in the mall; they're quick, clean, and always delicious. The Bandcamp is my meal of choice with black beans, rice, pico, guac, and jalapeños

Moe's, Chipolte's, there all the same... good enough but nothing crazy special.

Have been a fan of Moe's since 2005. Good custom-made burritos and tacos; cool decor and friendly staff. Interesting menu descriptions and 'dead rock star' music theme add to the fun. That being said...this Moe's location comes up short at times. Portions have been getting smaller and for the last few visits they've been training new staff. We've ended up explaining how to make the food. Also the Pensacola location has never had the same enthusiastic staff of other Moe's. Their greeting more often sounds like a bored 'welcome to McDonald's, than a pumped-up 'Welcome to Moe's!' Still, they offer good weekly discounts, check the board inside the door. And if you get the nachos, go for the queso on the side or else you'll end up eating the chips with a spoon.

Moe's is at it again - they've changed up their menu slightly, so there is a bit of a price break now if you want sour cream on your burrito. Always a good option for a quick dinner.

Pretty good. I like being able to choose exactly the way I want on my food. They have tasty cheese dip too. Kids eat free on Tuesdays which is great if you have kids but it gets a little crazy in there.

This place was just okay. Being from California I am spoiled when it comes to Mexican food, but when it comes to fake Mexican I choose Chipotle over Moe's. I got a chicken burrito and the flavors were just okay. It didn't satisfy my craving for Mexican food and I really can't wait to go home again so I can get a decent burrito!

One of our favorite places. Great made fresh in front of you Mexican style dishes. Be prepared to spend a little extra but it's worth it. Typically this place is VERY busy at lunch so come early or later to avoid the rush.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
