Introduced my son to grover's today and realized I needed to review it. The burgers are awesome. The fingers are awesome. Everything I've ever had there had been amazing. Try the onion rings.

Grover's Fingers and Wings Pensacola, FL Final Score: 6.38 Sure it says "Grover's" on the outside- but on the inside, it's the Tastee Freeze. The walls are cluttered with "Big T" paraphernalia, and the fried pickles are an exact match to the ones we've come to know and love at our own neighborhood Tastee Freeze. Having said that, the burger isn't bad- it's what you'd expect from a Tastee Freeze; a frozen patty (thought by some to be a Bubba Burger) topped with average produce, on a nice soft bun. The only real complaint was that the condiments (ketchup and mustard) were applied quite liberally by the kitchen staff before being served. My guess is that whoever prepared these burgers likes ketchup....a lot! In fact, they may eat it by the bowl on their lunch break. Once again the matter of consistency was discussed. Some burgers were served with the cheese melted nicely on top- while many others were delivered without the cheese- a simple oversight by the kitchen- but the solution was to unwrap a Kraft Single and place it on top of the fully prepared Burger. This allows no time for the cheese to melt and become one with the burger. Was this the best burger in all the land? Certainly not- but if you happen to be standing on the corner of Highway 90 and Davis- and you think to yourself "Where can I get a milkshake, fried pickles, burger and a pint of ketchup?" this is the place. That being said, check back next week as we continue our quest- with your help- to locate the absolute best burger in our area. nwflburgertour.com

As newbies to Pensacola and we don't do chains--- of course we had to visit this local kind of throw-back diner off N Davis Hwy. Rumors of a "pile of onion rings" were true! Fresh and tasty light golden brown, with enough batter to make them delicious! HEAVEN: we former California's were so happy to see PEPSI on this menu!! Score one for the better cola team in the land of Coca-cola. My daughter had the "M 'n M malt-- and it was thick, wonderful and clearly homemade as I think, was the salad dressing . We had burgers, hubby the Philly cheese steak: all above average in quantity and quality, delivered hot and fresh to our table. Fresh food, quality ingredients and good customer service adds up to a continued visits for our family and a glowing yelp. One small caveat: Don't order a salad because while it's nice to see it on the menu (rare down here) this is nothing more than shredded burger lettuce trying to pass as salad. Sorry folks, but even cheese, croutons and bacon can't hide that fact. Nobody probably comes here for the lettuce so it's not a deal-breaker by any stretch. Not one bad yelp as far as I can read, and you're NOT getting one for me: so get on and get over to Grover's for breakfast or lunch or an early dinner, 'cuz they're open only until 6 pm. It will be fun to try breakfast next time

I was impressed! This was my first visit to Grover's and it was delicious. I got the daily special which was a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries with drink for 6.99. The sandwich was very good and the fries were not greasy. The only downside- There is not alot of seating inside so I did have to wait to get a table an they serve Pepsi! Yuck . I will come back for sure!

This place is awesome!! The wings are great and the fried green tomatoes are amazing!! Get one of the signature milkshakes to wash everything down and you'll be so happy!!

Food is always on point! Prices are fair. My only complaint is that I wish they would put more wet lemon pepper on the wings. Sometimes it is a little bland. But that will still not keep me from rating them any less because everything else is so good!

Nothing fancy just good food. Definitely not diet fare, but worth every calorie! Great for lunch!

This place is great! I really enjoy the phenomenal customer service and the food is exactly what you'd expect. The prices are a little higher than you'd expect but the food portions more than make up for it. I have been three times already and all three have left me with a good experience. I have only tried the chicken tenders and fries and the burger. Recommended as a great small place to have a nice (greasy) delicious lunch.

Great food and service. The steak fingers and cole slaw are out of this world. They are open 6a-6p 7 days a week. Family friendly.

Not really sure what this place is like. They close at six every day (kinda weird for a Friday night).

Love how good the food is here! If you've never gone here, it's worth it. This is an easy place to appease the whole family.

This is mom and pop to the max! I love this place. The portions are generous and the food is delicious and freakishly fresh. I had the lemon pepper wings and chicken fingers and gravy. Just imagine what-a-burgers chicken fingers but 5x bigger and 5x tastier and you'd almost have a good picture of what you'll get here. Their oreo milkshake even had real oreo cookies in it! I will make it a tradition to have Grovers every pcola trip! Pcola, discover this place please. I don't want them going out of business on me.

Daily specials are awesome, breakfast items are pretty good too. Everything cooked to order, so they're a bit slower than the average fast food restaurant, but the quality of the food makes up for it. Probably the best country-fried steak I've ever had. Locally-owned, and a favorite amongst UWF students as it lies just outside of campus.

Small mom and pop spot that has cheesy, greasy, not good for you but tastes amazing food! Definitely a great place for hung overs and morning afters :) I had the steak and cheese which was hot cheesy and gooey... Everything I was craving after a heavy night of drinking. Saw that they offer some good looking soft serve as well, with many flavor options, will have to try next time. I also recommend a nap afterwards for the full experience ;)

Had dinner here tonight and my Grandson and we thought it was very good. We each had the six piece chicken finger meals. It was the Thursday special. Included with fries, toast and drink. The strips were very big, tasty and not at all greasy. They were real white chicken meat and breaded nicely. All food was hot. Loved the white peppered gravy for dipping. The restaurant was clean and friendly staff. However, no restrooms inside. They did have a 32' flatscreen television to watch. Lots of ice cream choices including banana splits. Didn't try any ice cream today.
