I was given a treat today when my "GOB" (Good Ole Burger) hit the table. This burger was not only juicy, but the right mixture of seasoning and little extras made this burger disappear in about 15 minutes! I will say that I have become a loyal fan of the "GOB" here at Cj's!!!!!!

Got the recommendation to try CJ's from Yelp and was satisfied with the food but the service was pretty poor. Granted, they were really busy but it took us quite awhile to get menus and even longer to get coffee. Food was fine but nothing to "yelp" about ! Even had the beignets "to go" but had to wait a long time for them. I'll bet they are good, when they are warm/hot. Better than a chain restaurant but we decided not to go back during our trip.

This place has good beignets. I have written before that the Cafe du Monde in New Orleans has the best beignets in the world and that is true. I have also said that there are a number of imitators in the South that cannot make a good beignet. This place is an exception. The beignets are good and I recommend them. I have only had breakfast here, and it is pretty good overall and includes some traditional southern fare.
