It's ok. Honestly I would eat here more, but their gluten free options are outrageously priced. I don't know any other pizza places charging that much for gf pizza crust.

There was nothing overpoweringly good. The pizza really had a funny taste as so did the yeast bread they gave me. I'm not sure if it was the dough in general. I had gnocchi with vodka sauce and it was a bit to red and heavy on the tomato and too light on the cream. And the price was pretty high. I had a small bowl for $13. My waitress was very pleasant and refilled my Pepsi but other than that, it's really not worth the trip. There are so many other places that serve better pizza.

The baked sandwiches are great. Our favorite is the Super Italian mix. Calzones are melt in your mouth. Pizza is okay, the sandwiches are the best! It's like the bread is baked fresh around the sandwich. Great place! We usually take out, but have eaten there a couple of times. Service was real good even on a busy Friday night.

I had a solid 3.5 star experience here, and I'm rounding up for the pleasant surprise that was the taste of my meal. This place just recently opened - past month or so. I believe they have another location in Bradenton (at least, according to Yelp) or they just moved from that location. In any event, I passed the sign every day heading to and from work, advertising pizza by the foot and subs, so I guess I had it stuck in my head. Was craving a hot sub today, so I thought I'd check it out. First issue though is parking. I don't know how they expect to survive with such little parking. Lot was full, yet there were no tables sat on the patio (it was cold) and still a few tables open inside, too. I parked about a block down the neighboring side street where there were some other cars parked on an open lot and walked over. I didn't feel like staying though, so I ordered a large chicken parm sub to go. Second issue is that their subs only come in medium and large. That's stupid. How do you have a medium when there is no middle? You have small and large. You can't have a medium without both of those. It's called logic people. Use it. Anyway, like I said, I really enjoyed the sub. It was just under $10, but since I order subs at Italian restaurants so rarely, I don't know if that's comparable or reasonable. Seems high, but maybe not. The chicken was thick and cooked perfectly. The breading was tasty and crispy. The cheese was...cheese. What do you say about mozzarella cheese other than that as a lactose intolerant person, it was probably stupid to eat. The sauce was thick with just a hint of spiciness. The bread actually tasted like cuban bread - crispy outside, soft inside - but that would be weird. Whatever, it was good. It's tough to rave about a pizza place without trying their pizza, but they did earn a return trip from me to try the pizza. It may suck, in which case, I will reverse this review. That said, every table had pizza, and how can every table in a full parking lot restaurant be wrong? I'll tell you how - this is Florida. When you move to Florida, if you ask a leasing office where the restaurants are, they will direct you to Applebees. So, we'll just have to see if someone in Palmetto can cook pizza correctly. More to follow - I know you'll all be holding your breath till then.

Geocaching in the area and we were looking for a pizza stop and here this place was. We were very pleasantly surprised. Very good. Now we have to come back to try Sicilian. Recommend. The staff was really nice as well

It's shame but after eating here 3 times it gets worse with each visit, my wifes Stromboli was raw on the bottom, my daughters white pizza had red sauce on it and when we sent it back the new one looked like they put red sauce on then tried to wipe it off. sorry Paul I tried and won't be back.

I can't say enough nice things about this place. The service was wonderful, the pizza was delicious, and the restaurant on the inside was adorable. I was already full from the garlic knots and the salad by the time the pizza came out, but I ate two slices anyway just because of how great it tasted. We ordered the NY style. It has a unique flavor. Our kids both got spaghetti and I ate all of their leftovers; the sauce was delicious. I'd highly recommend this place!

Ate here with 2 friends last night. There is a new owner, but quality of the food is pretty much up to the same standards as before. Both friends had pizzas, and loved the crust, but thought they were pretty light on toppings. I had a steak sandwich, which was very overly salty, too bad because the bread was great and the cheesa and sauce were nice. We had outstanding service from a very pleasant waiter named Ricardo.

One of those odd times when you wonder what everyone else is yelping about. Pizza was terrible, from the thick dough, the totally bland marinara to the low end pepperoni. Bought two slices, threw one of them away.

We enjoyed takeout pizza a couple of times before heading in for dinner. Nice little place and we were fortunate to get a table right away. We saw great looking pizzas being eaten at other tables but decided to try something else other than pizza. I had eggplant parm which was served with rigatoni instead of spaghetti. It was okay and my husbands lasagna was also good but not great. We personally will stick with the pizza but definitely would go back.

Really bad pizza, just gross. The ceaser salad had lifeless lettuce and sour dressing. You are better off ordering from a pizza chain, which is sad.

Just Ok. Nothing to write home about. The decorations are the same as they were when the building served as "Ala Mode" ice cream shop.

Had the Mediterranean pizza and it was delicious . We had to wait 45 minutes for a table because this place is packed! Worth the wait!

Just because it's round does not make it NY pizza. The crust was soggy, uninteresting/bland sauce. I did overhear others enjoying the Stromboli, so next time, I'll try that. Until then, 2 stars is all I can give.

Pizza exceeded our expectations! We got the pizza by the foot, which is the thicker crust style, Dough was delicious: soft and chewy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. It came quickly, the sauce was good (on the sweeter side), plenty of cheese and good pepperoni. Comfortable inside, although our table for 4 was small enough that they had to put the pizza on a stand next to the table. My only complaint about this restaurant was that our waitress was either having a bad day or just needs a little help being friendly. We won her over a bit by asking questions every time she came by the table and by complimenting the food, she loosened up a little and even cracked a smile and wished us a good night. Another reviewer commented on the tiny parking lot, totally true. They definitely run out of parking before the place is full, we only lucked into a space because we went early in the evening. Will definitely go again the next time we are in Palmetto!

Pizza is good. Wings are terrible. They were soggy and one was cold on the inside. I tried to eat them (love wings) but couldn't finish them. But like I said, the pizza here is good! It's pizza by the foot, not necessarily a wing place. I do recommend this place and will come back for some pizza.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
