I have been coming to this beautiful room for a long time now, have always enjoyed all this fine room has to offer, however, the shows are what keep me coming back. Rob Russell runs a tight ship here, and that is so much appreciated - when one dresses and drives an hour for dinner & a show, this fine venue never ceases to comfort, satisfy & entertain!

OMG, if they had 6 stars I would give it. This place is the new, hip restaurant in Palm Beach (as of December 2013). The concierge at the Breakers Hotel recommended it and it was fantastic. A very cool vibe, hardwood floors, lots of tables but not crowded, energetic but not too noisy. open kitchen. ridiculous wine list (california, french, australia, etc.) Marissa (a passionate foodie/somehow previously connected to the French Laundry and Thomas Keller) was our waitress/food server/goddess of the evening. She knew the menu, the wines and made great suggestions. We started with the artichoke appetizer, which was cooked perfectly. Plus they had whacked it in half and removed all the fuzzy stuff that gets stuck in your throat, so when we got to the heart we just sliced it up, drenched it in butter and their secret sauce and chomped away. The wedge salad was tasty, and not overly blue cheesy, which is more to my liking. My wife had the short rib/stroganoff dish which was very tasty, while I savored the veal meatloaf which had a delectable sauce on top and mashed potatoes beneath. really good flavors in everything. BOTH of the managers on duty that evening came by our table to check on us, a very nice touch. For dessert, try the white chocolate cake/cocoanut thing a ma bob, or the lemon cake, both excellent. Can't recommend this highly enough. Ask for Marissa, though the reviews tout ALL of the servers as friendly and knowledgeable; it's pretty obvious this place focuses on the double challenge of providing terrific guest service AND delectable food! They overachieve on both counts!
Went during a FL downpour. The trip was worth it albeit we were soaked. We were welcomed into bar seating with great service. Ordered the cheese steak egg rolls. Insanely good. We considered ordering another batch and skipping the entree. Moved on to roasted chicken with a side of truffled mac and cheese. The chicken was meh but everything else was great. Mile high lemon cake for dessert. Tangy, sweet and soft. I want to live here. Del Frisco's is a can't miss dining experience.
We had an awesome meal. Spontaneously picked this restaurant for dinner. Packed so we sat in the bar. Had the long bone rib eye which was awesome. One of the best steaks we ever had. Perfectly cooked and had sensational seasoning. The potato cake was good but the truffle Mac and cheese was incredible. Almost forgot the steak cheese egg rolls were outstanding. Never had anything like them. It's a must get!! Let's not forget dessert. Nutella bread pudding. Topped with whipped cream and coffee ice cream. OMG. Unbelievable!! Brett was our server and did a fantastic job! Great service despite having a table of 12 kids without parents with them. Parents were in a different room. (Quite a loud night) Definitely will be back!

Great Full Breakfast Buffet $28.00/person with fresh squeeze orange juice. Dined outside on patio with Great view of the water. Service was great. Definite must.
We had Sunday Brunch at The Terrace Restaurant. Of course because of the gorgeous beachfront view we chose to sit outside! The mimosas were tasty and the food was great. Very comfy setting even though it was cold outside. The outside heaters weren't working properly, but they did have engineers come fix them. All in all it was a great experience that I would recommend to any of my friends. My only complaint is that they should offer some sort of specials on pricing for the brunch and mimosas.
Fantastic! Great food, great service, great beach. You really have to try this place. It will not disappoint.

I loved this restaurant within our hotel. We went twice and it was fun both in the lounge/bar area and the outdoor dining room. The service is great and the blue cheese gnocchi was so good that we came back for it twice!
Fabulous service, gorgeous view, and 50% off bar menu and booze during happy our! (M-F, 4-7PM) Whats there NOT to like?? See my pics below for the menu options!
As far as hotel restaurants go, Jove is one of the very best. They have your standard fare which you'll find on the room service menu, but then you get hidden gems like the black squid ink pasta and saffron risotto. The tuna tartar and halibut were also terrific. I would stick to seafood (naturally as one would when you're sitting by the sea) but I have full confidence in their other fare as well. Their drinks are also inventive and delicious. One of the best (gin) aviation drinks I have ever enjoyed. I would recommend this to other hotel guests or to casual diners who want a meal for a special occasion. Sit outside by the pool.

This is a quality over quantity place. Normally I hate people who whine about small portions, but this place actually has small portions. Expect to order 3-4 things if you want to get full. On the plus side, you get to eat 3 or 4 different things before you are full. Its really good though. The duck tacos, imoto salad, grilled chicken, and kimchi rice are some of the larger dishes.
This place is outstanding. Each small plate was bursting with flavor. The sushi/sashimi was so fresh that it melted in your mouth. Great atmosphere! We tasted the kimchi fried rice, the duck tacos, the grilled octopus the tuna tataki. all were excellent in addition to the sushi.
Third time I had been to this Japanese restaurant. The decor is minimal but the presentation of the food is very nice and what I'm used to. I came here recently with my best friend. He is more of a pasta kind of guy, so I had to walk him through the sushi. As usual we had an amazing time and I think it will become one of our favorite spots to go to when he comes down to visit me from up north.

Wow ! Great little spot. Food was good and inexpensive. Order the nova salmon. Out of control! Beet salad? Killer!!!!! I'm going back for the gnocchi with shrimp. Our waitress Jennifer? Spot on with a great smile.
My wife and I went for lunch on a Groupon that we bought on line. At first we were impressed with the place, right on the water, neat, clean and the waiters were friendly. However, I got a chicken liver appetizer that was served almost raw, raw chicken, are you kidding me. In addition to that, when we returned the food for more cooking, it came back with bloody parts again. At this point the waiter came over and took the food away and just said it would be taken off of the bill. Not can we try again or any options at all, just took it away! the olives in the salad I got were mushy/rotten, definitely not fresh as were the greens. I could have forgiven most of this if the wait staff would have been a little more accommodating, but the hostess intentially avoided asking how we liked our food. She asked the table on one side of us and the table on the other side, but when it came to us, knowing we received inferior food the subject was compeltely avoided. She just took away the plates and scurried off. We went there because of all the wonderful reviews we read. I guess as long as there is no problem, the hostess and wait staff are fine but if an issue arises your table is avoided like the plague, Needless to say, we won't be back and we will make sure all of our friends know to avoid the Ambassador's Table.
Six weeks and many meals later [we are staying in the Ambassador Hotel], we continue to rave about this restaurant for both lunch and dinner. We have yet to order a dish that has not been superlative. These offerings include the soups, the pear salad, the roast beef, the various fish dishes, omelettes, sliced duck breast, calves liver and the signature apple pancake [made to order, it takes a good while to reach the table]. Also, it must be noted that all the side dishes are excellent, particularly the fresh and crunchy vegetables. The service is also very good and continues to improve. Maria, Cindy, Jennifer, Amanda, Mario have been consistent in their friendly professionalism; ditto Jennifer, the hostess. Service outside by the pool is a lovely experience. Prices are shockingly reasonable. For example, between 4:30 and 6, the dinner is $15 for three courses and coffee. Given the above, reservations are essential on weekends for dinner. With the closing of nearby Cafe Cellini, Ambassador's Table is a most welcome addition to South Ocean Blvd.. [only carp: the tacky music...stop with the Beatles already!...which should be replaced by something more befitting the elegance to which the dining room aspires, soft jazz or light classical would work well]

Sorry Yelpers. Don't bother. What's the rule when you walk in a restaurant and there is nobody else there? Turn around and walk out. Should have. Can't even get a steak cooked medium. First time over cooked- next time charred on the outside and raw on the inside. $20 for 4 shrimp cocktail ( was good) and $15 for a martini. No thanks. Had to go to Capital Grille the night after to satisfy the steak craving.
Great customer service and food, lovely to eat outside on a nice day.

Surfside Diner

Reviews:
A clean, bright, inexpensive diner where great breakfast is always served with a smile: what's not to love about Surfside? We've been coming here regularly for a couple of years and it's been fantastic every time. A few highlights: -Their omelets: They are perfect! Flavourful, done but not overdone, never greasy, never overly salty - just a clean, nourishing, delicious omelet. I get mine with Swiss cheese, but you can customise yours at will. Omelet dishes also come with a toast (mine: rye, buttered!) and a choice of arugula salad or home fries. You can also ask for a mini fruit cup (typically honeydew, melon, strawberries and grapes). -The Morning Glory muffin: Amazing! It's a carrot cake-like muffin with dried raisins and cinnamon. Not wild about raisins but there aren't too many that it's horrible: au contraire, it's actually delicious. Get it buttered and toasted! -The chocolate cake: It's the real thing! A tall tower-like chocolate cake with generous amounts of rich chocolate icing sandwiched in between each layers. The slice is huge and ample enough for two hungry eaters to fight for. It's so good that yes, you will fight for it. -The oatmeal: It's real, steel cut oatmeal. If you're on the healthy side, you'll love it: brown sugar, raisins, and walnuts are all served on the side, allowing you to make your own little mixture. Oatmeal isn't my thing, but I've had a few spoonfuls (it's my better half's favourite breakfast item) and I must say: it's delicious. So-so: -The pancakes: True, they're huge, golden, and taste ok, and you'll get plenty of syrup to drown them in no matter what, but they are just that: ok.. For me, they are way too thick, dense, and boring in taste. They'd be much better if they were a lot fluffier. -The omelet skillet: boring, yet a lot going on. Skip: -The burger and fries: Fries are extra, and not worth it. It would all be ok if the burger were up to standard, but it's not. Bun is boring, meat is boring, not juicy, always overdone - in short, blend. -The French toast: Disappointing. Way, way, way too done and dry. Not enough batter is dipped into the toasts, which are boring as it is and super thin. Powdered sugar and syrup miserably fails to save them. The atmosphere: Clean, modern, marine chic. It's Palm Beach, so lots of characters come in, which makes it quite entertaining if you're into people watching. Too many kids to my liking on the weekend, but they're generally well behaved.
So happy I stopped into this little diner over the weekend! The atmosphere, service and food were all top-notch. I actually came across this place thanks to Yelp. I was looking for a brunch option after doing a long run past the beach on Palm Beach and this was the top recommendation. Once I finished up my miles, I hopped in the car and took a ride over to the Surfside Diner. The diner was pretty busy but there wasn't a wait. I was able to grab a seat at the bar/counter area. I was waited on immediately and since I was so hungry promptly ordered an egg white omelet. Now, the omelet itself isn't super pricy, but when you add all of the extra stuff in it, it really starts to get expensive. My egg white omelet was almost $15! But I figured it was a special occasion since I was leaving town and I had just run so far. The omelet was excellent -- probably one of the better ones I've ever had. It was put together perfectly and the arugula salad served with it was also excellent! There was a whole area of cakes and cookies that I would love to try the next time I come in. Definitely a great little addition to the island food scene and a wonderful breakfast option if you're looking to dine in Palm Beach.
Great cafe with amazing staff and yummy food. The fish tacos came with fresh blackened mahi and pico de gallo and house made guacamole were the perfect condiments. The tortilla chips that the tacos came with was sprinkled with some cumin which was such a tasty little surprise and gave this classic a nice new touch. Yum!

It was like stepping into Gatsby's dining room! At first I felt very out of place. This was not the trendy New York restaurant I was used to. I was afraid that I would be seen as someone who wasn't high class because I dressed as if I was going to a trendy restaurant rather then a very fancy one. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful waiters who joked with us and made me feel like I was back home on the east coast. My food was amazing and I loved it so much that at the end, I felt beyond full. The desserts were also delightful! The sampler platter was gigantic! Overall it was a wonderful experience! If you want a Gatsby experience, you'll get one!
Great food, atmosphere and service, and all for a reasonable price for such an upscale place.
Very pretty restaurant. The service equals the decor. As you walk in, you are greeted by a piano player with music. Nice bar to wait in if your table isn't ready. We had a round table of 12 and was a great option for our family. The linens, silverware and plates were nice quality. White lights and flowers were a nice touch. The food was delicious. All of of us loved our choices. I had the duck and it was perfectly prepared. Served with marinated cabbage ( sounds bad, but it was good!) a bing cherry bread pudding cake. Portion size is large. My appetizer was amazing. Bacon wrapped dates. Others had various salads as appetizers. Other main courses were scallops, liver and onions, weiner schnitzel, and a seafood pasta. My only complaint is that the chairs are casual bistro style, and not comfortable at all.
