Beautiful location... Super clean... Staff was nice... Apple pay worked great... Food was great... Unfortunately they didn't have any cookies for the kids... They had a big beautiful picture of an M & M type sugar cookie... But no cookie. Other than that great place... If we are ever in town again we will swing in!

Normally, Panera and I are good friends. We often snuggle up with a breakfast power sandwich and a coffee to plan our day, or brunch over an Asiago bagel and ponder the mysteries of the world. Recently, however, I have discovered a disturbing trend to move away from smiling American customer service model to a more Norman model of cold, uncommunicative human analogs. Not that I need a blathering of emotional joy whenever I walk in the door, rather, I'd like to be treated as though it is their privilege to serve me today instead of being yet another bothersome warm body which they are forced to accommodate. Today, this particular location made Chick Fil A look like the gold standard in warmth and, dare I say, all of the McDonalds run by JonCo in our town also look a little more polished. So what happened? Consistently out of the most popular bagels you would think that they would adjust their ordering and stocking to accommodate. We walked through the door at eight minutes until 11 (when breakfast is no longer served) and found the following to be true: they were out of plain, Asiago, everything, and... Well it will be easier to list what they did have: cinnamon raisin, jalapeno cheese, sesame, cinnamon crunch, and that's about it. With a few customers in front of us being forced to choose their fourth choice of bagels by the time we got to the line it was 2 minutes to 11 and almost too late. The kitchen ignored calls from our cashier to determine if eggs are still available while our order was pending. Out of 6 people behind the kitchen counter any one of them could have looked but they chose to ignore the cashier. Laughing instead while the last 2 eggs were snatched at the drive through window. The nice and visibly disappointed young lady at the counter pushed our order through anyway. Indeed we did get what we asked for, but not without that greasy feeling you get when you know you don't belong somewhere and you're being served only out of obligation. This sophomoric service luckily hasn't tainted my experiences from other locations, but I'm becoming much more likely to now flush this location from my rotation.

Panera's are pretty consistent, and this one is no different. I lived in Oviedo from 2001-2010 and got really excited when the "Coming soon" sign went up in the field - about 2008. Sadly, I moved before they even broke ground. I have tons of friends here and visited last week. I went here twice: once through the drive thru and once I ate in. Both times it was consistently good. I had the turkey, cranberry flatbread (for me, one is plenty). The place is clean and wasn't crowded at noon on a Sunday, which surprised me. My only beef is Panera's as a rule are pricey. But I have been to Paneras in CA, TX and now FL and what you get is nutritious food that is CONSISTENT state to state. The friend who accompanied me said she's never had an order be wrong, or had to have anything changed.

Brand spanking new Panera in Oviedo, next to the future Oviedo on the Park, and L.A. Fitness. Looks like Panera has these new store layouts which is quite unique ... and this one includes a drive-through. Order on one end of the store, then pick up along the same side and seating on the other end of the order and pickup. However, the end of the line to pick up the food, is also the drink station, and could potentially be a traffic area with people leaving with their food, clashing with people re-filling their drinks. However, for the brand new location and "grand opening", Panera has their act together. The food order was inputted correctly. The order was prepared quite efficiently. And even had managers and servers walking around clearing tables. But being the first day ... there were a TON of people. Managers were standing around to make sure everything ran smoothly, which honestly, it was. If this new Panera keeps the standards shown at other Paneras, then there is no doubt it will excel and be very successful, and I will be a repeat customer for the occasional lunch ... or the ever so scrumptious bakeries.

Nice people and good service! The food is always available, not a long wait. The only issue with the facility is that it's too cold inside. Other than that, a nice place to get a quick meal and meet people for business.

Great bagels and pastries, awesome sandwiches and soups, and top notch service. Also, the only Panera I've seen with a drive thru. A fantastic addition to the Oviedo area.

Went back today (b/c apparently I needed more reasons to not like this Panera) and they didn't have soup, bananas for their smoothies or shortbread cookies...at 3 in the afternoon. You're open until 8 or 9!! So Ridiculous.

Love Panera. Not this location. Consistently wrong orders, and missing items. Today I ordered a veg. Soup (reg) for Wednesday. Told after I paid they don't have it, but I can have chicken noodle. (Don't eat meat) Opened the bag to check my kids meals... well one of two were there. I wish this location would step it up.

Panera is Panera, commercial plastic food dressed up like the real deal. Be prepared to be barked at by some squeaky high school girls at the registers as soon as you step through the door. This corny corporate forced hospitality is best left unattempted. The poor things are doing their best to verbally engage customers without their smartphones in their hand, making them shout out salutations is some sort of cruel torture (so I give them three instead of two stars). The bagels are just above the junk at Starbucks, but still pretty bad: low on flavor, no yeast character, and the texture is forced to be chewy. I don't understand why someone doesn't take a trip away from the suburbs to see what a real bagel is supposed to be. The "cream cheese" is some sort of syntho-fake foam spread that doesn't taste like real cream cheese and is very salty. Don't get me started on their bread, they are NOT a real bakery and I am embarrassed to bring it to meetings or events. Basically grocery-store character that looks prettier. Again, go learn what real is, then fake that. Don't just go by the pictures on the Travel Channel. Why, for the love of God, do all of these corporate places have medium as their small drink? Don't they speak English? There can't be a medium without something on either side of it: small and large. The fact your making an effort to be like McDonalds says a lot about your ambitions and respect for customers. All-in-all: an affordable, convenient way to overload on processed carbohydrates.

love all their food... I wish Panera would clean their tables like *KeKe* in Winter Park. with paper towels and disinfectant cleaner. NOT dirty rags and throwing crumbs on the rug!!! Let's keep it nice and keep it CLEAN. Please!
