Diabetics at TGI Friday

If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.

Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:

Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

High Cholesterol at TGI Friday

Fat and calorie count are normally high at American diners and TGI Friday is no exception in that case. Too greasy and fried items will not only boost your calorie intake but also increase your bad cholesterol levels. You should make smart choices while dining at TGI Friday if you have cholesterol issues.

Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for High Cholesterol

Great restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Great location and has a good selection on the menu.

Stopped in for dessert and a drink after eating elsewhere. The brownie overload dessert was amazing, drinks were great - just strong enough. Our waiter Ty made our visit! Friendly, personable, and on it!

Started out great and ended shitty ordered the endless apps took over 20mins ordered a second round and never came out. Not the best place to go while on vacation.

I don't know where to start with this place. There are literally 4 Friday's within a 5 mile radius (3 of which are on the same road... essentially.) Of the 4, this is my favorite Friday's. As far as food goes, it's your average Friday's, you're going to get decent food, decently priced, no complaints. The best selection they have on their menu is the Jack Daniel's selection, which really isn't saying much, but it's good. The only reason to go to this Fridays is that it is usually less populated than that of the other Fridays in the area. Also, the staff is great. They love to joke around and get to know you, which makes this Fridays stand out from the rest.

I'm disheartened to give this restaurant such a mediocre review, as I often visit TGI Friday's in Stoughton, Mass with consistently good experiences. The food was okay, but not as good as it's Northern counterpart. The waitstaff, at least for our table, was terribly slow and was impossible to locate as they would often disappear for long periods of time. Could have been an off day for them, but it left a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively).

Server Alexis was fantastic!! Wings were tasty and burgers were great. Salad was good too. Nothing to complain about at all. Will return when we visit Orlando again.

TGIF is not my idea of fine dining, but given a choice between MikeyD and Golden Corral TGIF wins hands down. I have to confess while I was in college I use to go to TGIF all the time it was affordable. It is still affordable. They currently have a prix fixe menu of appetizer and entree for $12.00 per person. During one of my retail shopping therapeutic days, upon leaving the mall we stopped at this location. One thing that irritates me is blaring music at a restaurant. Our hostess was very nice sat us immediately. Our waiter however came to introduce himself and immediately started singing the praises of their margaritas mind you this was 12.30pm. I know in some hemisphere somewhere it's 5pm a la Jimmy buffet, within my reality it was still 12.30 pm on a Tuesday. He was disappointed when I asked for tea he said are you sure you don't want a drink? I had to explain to him we were in a marathon shopping we needed to have all our faculties with us to find the bargains. When he came back with our tea, he sat with us proceed to ask where we were going shopping, mind you if he was hot, I would have been drooling all over him since he wasn't all the little attention of friendliness was too much for us. I ordered the bbq flat bread which was very bland and lacking of meat, all I could think of where's the meat? when the waiter came in he did acknowledge the meat was thin took it back to the kitchen. I ordered the chicken pasta which was flavorful ladden with butter, heavy cream, cheese, just the way i like it a 3200 calories dish with 1800mg of sodium yum. This is not a dish for the diet conscious. Pros Good selection of entree that will do nicely when you are hungry and have no options. Cons Blasting music Very salty dishes Sparing meat This is not a bad spot to eat lunch. Enjoy, Maggie

Fridays are great because they're fairly consistent. I had a bacon cheeseburger with their normal seasoned fries. They couldn't put a fried egg on it which would be a nice option but the home made roll (brioche maybe?) and the perfectly cooked burger were a solid four out of five. Fries were great. Guinness was perfect. Hard to screw that up.

We stopped in here following a disappointing night at the Treasure Tavern dinner theater across the street, looking for drinks and a little more food. As a California girl, TGI Friday's gets big points for serving a recognizable wine, the Barefoot Cabernet. Barefoot makes some of the best cheap wines out there, in my opinion. The quesadilla we ordered was alright, no complaints. Our bartender was nice, very friendly, but the service was not exceptional. Totally, satisfyingly average. They were also playing the Stanford football game at the bar, which is probably why we stayed so long and were having such a good time.

The food was...eh. I did not like the service at all. Our waiter was very nice but I ordered a burger at 6 pm and got it at 8 pm. The food was good but not worth the 2 hours.

We came here solely for drinks and something small to snack on after doing the slingshot. The regular restaurant was super busy but the bar was pretty open (be advised, the bar is 21+ after 9pm...I'm not a minor but the host thought someone in my party was? Rather presumptuous, but meh, I get it. Trying to be smart, even though the bartender will ID me anyway). The girl that works the bar is fantastic! Super personable and is always ready to get you what you need! She offered up suggestions, made sure we always had full drinks, and did not skimp on the liquor, and I appreciate that. I hate going out and paying good money for a drink and seeing the bartender use a light hand. I didn't have to worry about that at all here. The food was hot, the drinks were cold, and there was a really vibrant atmosphere. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

I used to look forward to going to TGIF's. I actually went out of my way after already driving 8 hours to eat there... Those days are over. The last time I ate there my meal was subpar, but my main complaint the Bacon Mac & cheese balls are gone! We'd go & order 2 orders of them, they were our favorite and worth an out of the way trip. Let me know if they come back. That's when I'll be back.

I can't speak about every TGIF but this one has great service and great food. Our server was really amazing. Surprisingly my first TGIF was in Thessaloniki , Greece last summer and it was really good. This one was even better. My son and I tried the Jack Daniel's steak and ribs combo with Mac n cheese. The steak was perfect and the ribs were fall off the bone and the BBQ sauce is so good. I had know Idea. Our server put on the Golf Chanel for me when I asked and turned out he works for golf channel and just bar tends a few months a year. It turned out to be a really great dining experience.

I am completely disgusted with TGIF!!!! Today I ordered the Jack Daniels chicken sandwich and it had extra Jack Daniels sauce on the side. Anyways, when I dipped my French fry in the sauce and took a bite, it tasted like straight up RAT SHIT..!!!! I've never eaten rat shit before.. But if you've ever smelled rat shit, then you would be able to describe it in a "taste form" I don't think I could ever eat there again.

One word summarizes my last visit: horrifying. Upon entering there was no one at the front greeting people or walking them in. After waiting for over 5 minutes we were finally greeted by a sweet hostess who we noticed was already running around with her head chopped off. She told us it would be just a few minutes, and so we had no problem waiting after we were acknowledged of our presence. The hostess went back to the room and started to wipe down tables and take back dirty plates from customers that were done eating. We them understood why we weren't greeted at the entrance. When we were put on our table, our server Brandi came up to us and introduced herself in an extremely rapid pace, she was so sweet and attentive, which only made me wonder how much better it would have been if she wasn't in this crazy rushed feeling. She gave us a few minutes, and we had our order ready. Two angus burgers, and two appetizers for lunch. She says great! Takes our order and the normal waiting process for food starts. We kept noticing how all the two servers and the hostess were running around the whole restaurant going crazy trying to do multiple things at once, along with listening to the loud phone ringing incessantly and no on hoeing able to pick up because they were in other parts of the restaurant doing other things. When we first got seated we quickly realized that none of this was their fault. They were completely understaffed, and the manager who just kept walking around and staring at them, even raising his voice at the hostess telling her to pick up the phone NOW, without so much of a please, or even the thought of helping them out and doing it himself. Brandi came back and sat on our table for a second and told us she had bad news, uh oh. They had no burgers. Really? We were upset at the thought of a restaurant like this having no burgers for lunch. We couldn't be upset at Brandi, we noticed that no one had informed her of this until she put our order in. So on she went running to get the menu again so we could pick something else. We waited the average time that you would wait for a meal, in the meantime we still saw the hostess and the two waitresses running around everywhere, serving large parties, trying to welcome guests who came in, in a timely manner, while they still picked up dirty dishes, took orders, etc. It was complete chaos.

By Far The Worst Friday's Ever ! Walked in about 9:30pm place is dead empty maybe about 10 people in there total. Server was good not his fault. Food was 25mins for an appetizer ........smh... When they came to our table it was ICE COLD...told the guy he said the manger don't wanna make you another one.....so we walked out All In All - TOURIST TRAP PEOPLE !

Gross. Food all over the floor, no one cleans it up. A server slips on some slop, still everyone ignores the mess. A 10 minute wait only because 70% of the tables are empty, but COVERED in plates, waste, napkins... Bathroom was like someone's ass exploded. I couldn't use it, washed my hands and left.

Good company, tasty food in a comfortable setting, that's what Friday's is all about Charlie Brown. I don't usually visit TGIFs, but when you're with a traveling workgroup, which is sort of like a traveling circus, you make exceptions. This place delivered what we were looking for, a place to get some good food, chill out from the long day, and enjoy some conversation. Friendly staff, clean environment, food delivered on time; expectations met.

Terrible Service. The restaurant was not busy at all and had many empty tables. However, the line to get in was extremely long. The server told us we would get our seats in about 20 minutes. We had to wait for 45 minutes before we can sit down, another 10 for our server to come to take our orders. In fact, the service was so slow that we decided to get our bill when we received our entrees so that we can get back to the hotel to rest. They also made a mistake on my order and I didn't receive my plate until 15 minutes after my entire table received theirs. The food portions were extremely small as well. Was very disappointed in my experience. You are better off going to a food truck and grabbing a juicy burger.

I've had good experiences before at TGI Fridays however this go around it left me with food poisoning and knocked a full day off my vacation as I acquainted myself with our hotel washroom. We went in for the 1/2 price apps on a Sunday. The first set we had were mozza sticks and pot stickers which were good. No issues here. We then ordered a second round of potato skins and spinach dip. Talk about two plates killed to death by deepfry. The potatoes were soggy and leaking and left a permanent taste in my mouth I will never forget. We only ate about 1/8th of both played. Paid up quickly and got out of there. On the way back to our hotel we both started complaining about stomach pains. Luckily for my wife they didn't turn to anything more than some discomfort and a restless nights sleep. As for my self. I was up every 1/2 hour sprinting to the washroom learning what it's like to be a human tube of toothpaste. I am by no means telling anyone not to go to TGI Fridays as I know they have a good reputation and I've gotten good food and service in the past. Just don't go to this one! Food handling seems a little suspect. And before you go jumping on me about other things I had eaten that day. This was the first meal in 7 hours for both of us.

Due to impact of a busy crowd last night they had us wait twenty minutes for a table which was fine. Food was excellent but service was terrible. You shouldn't have one waitress doing very many tables at once she loses concentration

Puts an tgi fridays at home in Ireland to shame. Large portions great prices. The jack daniels sesame strips are so tasty. Mozarella sticks are always a must. And the vanilla bean cheesecake tops it all off!The staff at the bar are friendly. Our hotel was across the road so we came to this bar most nights :)

We tried to order delivery for our hotel because online it says that they deliver. When we called in, the waitress told us the only deliver to the holiday inn. If they aren't delivering anywhere except for one hotel, then they shouldn't advertise that they deliver.

This place is amazingly friendly. I went while staying in Orlando and I enjoyed it the first time so I returned again. Well on my second visit, my bank must have decided that I had been kidnapped or something because it decided to not allow any transactions. The manager, Brad and the bartender (Jennifer? can't remember) was so cool about it and said it happens all the time (that close to Universal Studios I guess it would) but it had never happened to me! My tab was only $12 but still Brad said not to worry about it. I promised to come back the next day to pay as it was too late to do anything that night. How cool can it get? Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is Customer Service!! If you are in the area, GO!

We were out visiting Florida and just left the CSI experience across the street and was hungry. There was a chili's and a TGI Friday. We decided to go to Friday's and was not happy. It was not busy by no means, but there was no host. We waited for awhile and my wife saw two waiters talking at the bar and asked do we seat ourselves and was told no. So we waited. Another group came in and they just sat down at a table, the waiter went to that table and started serving them while telling us someone would be with us..by this time I was done so I took my family over to Chili's where our experience was much better and they had more people inside. This Friday's left a negative taste in my mouth and not wanting to visit this establishment again.if you go I can only hope they treat you better than they treated us. First impressions are key to any customer service and this restaurant really have some areas of opportunity. GO TO CHILI'S, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!

We came because it was late at night and this was one of the last places open with full menu in this all-tourist area for some reason. We got in very late for our vacation and expected more options. We were pleasantly surprised with how great the food was! On-par with any non-chain restaurant I know! Our server, Ricky, was super nice and hilarious! We're in Orlando for another 5 days and plan on skipping dinner at the theme parks and coming back here for most of, if not all of them for those reasons.

As far as Friday's go this location is pretty good. I have been to plenty of them, and this one is definitely good. Typically when I visit Orlando I stay at the Fairfield Inn that within walking distance on Canada ave. Due to this when I have gotten in late at night a couple of times I just needed a good meal that I knew I could count on the quality. Obviously its not the best food, but you know you wont be disappointed in it. This location is HUGE so I thankfully have never needed to wait. I have gone there and been instantly seated everytime. The service is always great and the food comes out quickly. If you are in a rush and want to make sure your meal comes out the way you are used to check out this location, but IF YOU ARE ON VACATION GO SOMEWHERE UNIQUE!!!!!!

Went out for a late lunch today and decided to stop by TGI Friday's. The place was empty only a few tables were full. Our waiter was very friendly and took our drink order as soon as we were seated. I ordered the "Full Order" of the potato skin appetizer. The potato skins were delicious like they always are at TGI's but I should have went with the half order since I now have some left over potato skins sitting in the refrigerator. I also ordered The "Jack Daniel's" Burger which ruled! I love TGI Friday's Jack Daniel's sauce The supermarket version of the JD sauce doesn't come close to TGI's . I give this 5 stars since the service was extremely quick and the food was great !

I typically avoid chain restaurants like TGI Friday's like the plague. Usually the food tastes generic and factory - made, with not-so-outstanding service. This location was no different. Walking in - at first, was completely ignored by the hostess. There was no "hello, welcome" or "we'll be right with you" etc etc. And then when we were finally sat, our server didn't actually show up for a good five minutes. Drinks - jeeeeez why the heck do they need to have literally 2343343 different drink choices? I was craving something with blackberry in it, and they did not help me by giving a choice between a blackberry mojito, a blackberry margarita, or an acai berry (made with blackberry) sour. Multiply that by the total number of possible fruits, and there you have the drink menu! So I settled on the blackberry margarita, while my sister ordered a cosmo. Kind of cool because the margarita showed up in my very own little cocktail shaker. Not cool because I wasn't asked if I wanted salt (I didn't), and if I preferred the margarita to be blended or not. Fail. As for the drink itself, it didn't have enough bang bang (aka alcohol), and curiously enough it started tasting worse as the night wore on, kind of like ass. Which is weird, because usually the more you drink, the less you care about how it actually tastes... you know the drill. Appetizer - mozzarella sticks. They give you 6. And they are excellent. Hot with lots of that gooey, unbreakable cheese. Entrees - I ordered a salad, with the dressing on the side. The dressing was not on the side, so instead of finishing a dressing-drenched bowl of leaves, I ended up not finishing my salad. Dumb. Sister ordered the fish and chips, which was just generic blah, nothing special.. Service - did not exist. Our server didn't check up on us once, so I did not even get the opportunity to tell her that she had ruined my salad. In fact, instead of checking up on us, I saw her socializing with one of her coworkers. And when I asked her if she could make any of their margaritas virgin for my teenaged cousin, she simply said "No, it's gonna taste bad" and then stalked off, without offering us a second suggestion. And heck, she didn't even bring our food out to us - it was all food runners who did that. We ended up leaving something like a $7 tip on a $60 check (and I tip well when it's deserved - I used to be a server myself!), and thought even that was too much. As a sort of finishing touch, I was also redirected to the men's restroom when I was looking for the women's restroom.. fail (and I might also want to consider stop wearing plaid). I don't live in Florida, so I have no reason to ever come back here. This would just be a warning to y'all to avoid this place! Bad service, mediocre food, just a waste of your money.

Last night, my boyfriend and I ate dinner here. Of course, we've been to TGI Friday's plenty of times and even this location. This time it was really good. We walked in and gave the hostess our names. It was about a ten minute wait before we got our table and unfortunately it was just that, a table and not a booth. However, the place was packed so we decided not to complain and accept the fact we weren't getting a booth. The chairs were terribly small and hard, very uncomfortable. Upon being sat, we were greeted by our very friendly waiter... however, he was one of those servers who sit down at the table with you to take your order and acts like you're old buddies, I don't like that. He was a nice guy though. We started with a strawberry margarita for me and a mojito (on special for $4!) for him. I find the drinks at Friday's to be extremely good and tasty always. Both were delicious. We ordered our appetizer which was a sampler of buffalo wings, potato skins, and mozzarella sticks. All three were DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the wings to anyone who loves buffalo wings but not too spicy where they are still enjoyable. We got them bone-out and they were simply amazing. For our entrees we both got the 1/2 pound Jack Daniels steaks. The price was decent, but the steak was a bit on the small side. The mashed potatoes were called "creamy potatoes" and they weren't lying when they said CREAMY. They could have actually had a bit less cream in them. I also ordered broccoli which wasn't really anything special. The steak was good, we ordered medium though it was more on the medium rare side. It was still good though. Just beware if you're a local and have a short fuse for tourists... this location is oozing with them due to it's extremely close proximity to I-Drive.
