Loved it! If I lived in Orlando, I'd eat here regularly. The food is largely traditional Italian but with some nice innovations throughout, such as Caesar salad made with baby kale. Portions are very large, and the range of offerings was great. What really sets the restaurant apart, though, is the staff. You couldn't ask for a better balance of professionalism and friendliness. Chef Stefano stopped by to tell us about the menu before we ordered, and the staff was as attentive as it gets. Plus, a number of nice upscale touches throughout the evening. (Note to restaurant: the specials were presented on a card separate from the menu but prices were nowhere to be found unless you asked; I didn't, because I was afraid the steak would be terribly expensive)

Three reasons we came here, 1.It was my Mom's birthday 2. Orlando's.Magical Dining (equivalent to Miami Spice) 3. All the amazing helpful reviews everyone posted. We were surprised to find this restaurant located in a strip mall, which wasn't a bad thing it actually made the experience more intimate. The Hostess was very hospitable and we didn't feel unwelcome seeing as we arrived 30min before close with a party of 6 that grew to 8 which they also so happily accommodated. I will hit all the points but all the reviews below were so spot on it was like following a script from a movie. Service: 5/5 Unbelievable, from the moment you walk in, to the satisfied feeling when you walk out. The server explained the restaurants mantra of farm to table dining, Some of us had ordered steaks and the server waited for us to check if our meat was cooked to our liking, which was an attentive touch. Food: 5/5 the magical dining experience was amazing, you are leaving with leftover unless you're MIchael Phelps and can down a 22oz steak plus all the fixing with no problem. everyone tried from one an others plate and everything was great but if you're only two people and you don't want to miss out on the best because you can't try everything here you go. Veal stuffed pepper - best appetizer Veal cutlet with lump crab (Veal chop was sold out so this was the substitute)- Best Dish Mouse Cake - Best dessert Now, you might think that i am biased to veal but this decision was made by 8 judges 4 which ordered steak, 3 who order crab cakes, and 1 lucky person ordered the Veal. Also, this was a special item as the original veal chop was SOLD OUT so the veal cutlets were a substitute, I can't even imaging how good that chop must have been. Price: 5/5 The Magical Dining helped in this area as all three for $33 is a steal when you compare quality and quantity vs price. I did see the regular menu and the price are reasonable considering you eating fresh made, organic, farm to table dining at a, in my opinion, 5 star establishment. Verdict: They gained several new repeating customers even if it is not magical dining. Great Service, Great Food, Great Restaurant!

I am a steak/ribeye connoisseur. The Delmonico ribeye is the best i've ever had. If you like steak, you must try it. Michele was our server, he was great. The owner came out to our table to give us a sample of a pasta off the menu. This place is amazing

I repeat do not go to Magical Dining and get the 22oz Delmonico. If you do you will be thinking of me as your jaw tires of chewing. The piece of bacon on the side was way better than the steak. You need energy to get your knife through it and chewing it is arduous and cumbersome. Out of our table of 4, 70 of the 88 total ounces went into the garbage. The flat bread appetizer was average. The stuffed pepper with veal appetizer was very spicy but absolutely fantastic. It was probably one of the best things I have eaten in Central Florida. Chocolate Moose cake was average. The bread with dinner is good but they only brought over a few pieces and never asked us if we wanted more. Atmosphere is nice and waiter was professional.

Our concierge recommended Stefano's as one of the better dining experiences in Orlando. All three of us were very disappointed with our meals and we would certainly not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking to enjoy fine Italian cuisine. My husband and I had the Caesar Salad for two which was not prepared table side as stated in the menu, but split into two small bowls in the kitchen. The dressing was not creamy but very heavy on lemon and vinegar. My husband and daughter had the linguine with mussels and clams, but my husband asked for just clams and apparently that order got confused and they had to re-do his. This meant that he was waiting while my daughter and I were served our entrees. They felt that the dish was too heavy on garlic, which was diced and uncooked. I ordered the chicken Chablis, which was a very large piece of chicken floating in an oily-looking sauce of capers and canned artichoke hearts. There was a layer of soggy filo dough under the chicken breast for some inexplicable reason. This added nothing to the dish. We did not bother with ordering dessert. Our server was very pleasant but the service was rather slow and we had an order mistake. At one point, a man who appeared to be the chef came out of the kitchen and was watching the football game on the TV in the bar area. I suppose that his team scored because he let out a huge yell that reverberated around the small dining room. Overall, a really mediocre experience.

The food here is pretty good. The seafood risotto had a generous amount of good quality seafood. The bolognese was very well made. You can taste the amount of time and effort put in the sauce. Chicken Chablis citrusy and tender . The coconut cake was very light and not too sweet, very moist. Service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Generous portions. Excellent find !

The concierge recommended this place, they pointed us in the right direction. Food was awesome, the service was better! The place was packed but they made us feel like we were the only ones in the room. They were meticulous in setting up the tables, looking at every piece of silverware and glassware. I actually told the lady who was setting up the table next to us, I was impressed with their attention to detail. The food was tasty and fresh. The portions were generous and everyone got served at the sametime. The chef/owner came out to each table to make sure everything was ok and if there was anything we needed. If you are in Orlando it's a must go to.

It's like being at home. Chef Stef his wife Mary and whole family of staff make this the most comfortable enjoyable restaurant around. All meals are cooked from scratch and taste delicious. Italian dishes are unreal and the steaks are to die for. Mary always selects a great wine to enjoy. Bring all my friends and visitors from out of town to enjoy this place. Hate sharing it with others because I want to keep it to myself. But it's too good not to share.

My wife and I decided to visit Stefano's Grill for Valentine's Day. As we arrived, there was no room for the waiting patrons to wait. People waiting for tables were very close to dining customers and felt crunchy. We had reservations and had to wait about 15 mins to be seated. No big deal. The restaurant table setup was concerning as the restaurant was stacked with 2 person tables in the middle of the floor. Some of the tables we not more than 6 inches apart from the next table. Since the tables were so close the noise level was loud and had to speak loudly in order to have a conversation. To make it more difficult the restaurant was pumping out N'Sync songs over the speaker system making it even more difficult to hear. After being seated, we were ignored for 15 minutes. No server, no water, no acknowledgement, nothing. After 15 mins, a server comes over and apologized for the wait and told us about the night being staffed by temp employees causing the delay in service. The owner and chef came over to try and make it right by offering us a free drink. We were already past the issue but one owner kept giving us her resume saying that Stefano's was 1 in Italian food and 2 in steaks in Orlando. We just wanted to order but I get it they wanted to make it right. The food was ok.... not great. We ordered table side salad but since the tables were so close together the best they can do is drop off 2 bowls of pre-made salad. No table-side service. Again not a huge deal.... I wanted to order a Sausage appetizer and nope, they were out...Again...Not a big deal. I ordered an Italian entree and I was not wowed. It was average. I have had better Italian dishes in Orlando, The sauce was bland. The combination al all so many "Not a big deals" made it an uncomfortable night. We will not go back to this restaurant. I feel like the restaurant and staff were over their head by placing too many tables on the floor and the quality of food and service suffered because of it. I am sure the food and service may be better the other 364 days of the year similar to some of the other reviews but our 1st impression will steer us away.

Where to begin? At the beginning. We were greeted with handshakes and introductions to the staff taking care of us. Right away I felt like I was going to be eating dinner with an big Italian family whom treated you like family! We were asked if we'd like to go with the Chefs suggestions or to chose from the menu. We took the chefs suggestion which started us off with kale salad, fried clams (amazing) and a medley of assorted olives followed with a veal stuffed pepper (wow). It wouldn't be Italian without sausage and peppers which was included in the next wave of plates to come, which also included the best garlic bread I've ever had, a GIANT Delmonico steak that melted in your mouth and an Alfredo type dish with a pasta I've never had before, but enjoyed whole heartedly! After trying about half the menu we were stuffed and no room left. But, I heard rumors about the coconut cake and had to get it to see for myself. Do not leave this place without the cake! It's seriously the best cake I've ever had! Before I had to roll myself out of the place our friendly wait staff gave us a complimentary shot of Fernet which is a digestif and something I most certainly would and did benefit from. As the Terminator would say, "I'll Be Back!"

My husband and I stopped here for sunday brunch because kekes next door had a huge line. I'm really glad we did! It was slow so the server was very attentive to us and was very friendly and professional. They had a special on mimosas 2/1 which was awesome. I got an omelet, I think, was the best I have ever had! I like the ingredient options. I have never seen Brussels sprouts available for an omelet before but I love them and were cooked perfectly. Breakfast was a huge portion and the price was right. I would definitely go back!

Stefano's Grill... Umm huh. This is why the other guys down the way have been advertising on TV lately. Holey moley this place is busy, and well no wonder!? There is only one word that accurately describes their Delmonico steak: "PRIME". AWESOME would be #2. Cooked perfectly, and served with an oiled, roasted bulb of garlic (oh, thank you!) and a thick slice of bacon, this plate full is over the top delicious. Obviously true prime cut as it was so succulent , tender and tasty with all the marbling found in this awesome sized, piece of carnivoric beauty. I chopped up the bacon and added a few smears of the garlic, oh, oh, oh,,,, ahhhhaaaaa! Stole a bite of the Grouper with butter-lemon and caper sauce that was also a worthy theft! I could order this entree and also find much delight in the choice. Hey, simply put, restraint from over indulging is needed. I'm still trying to figure out how the thick sliced bacon that was on my plate managed to be cooked and yet it was a little longer than my 9" long steak? Bacon always shrinks in my kitchen when cooked, so they must have some little known science tricks goin' on in their kitchen or that was one long-bellied hog? Perhaps Stefano has broke a crop circle code relative to cooking bacon? The Shrimp with smoked Gouda Flat Bread appetizer was delightfully crunchy, and I surprisingly enjoyed this shrimp and arugula and for a change of FB pace. I had my concerns, but proved to be unfounded. The side of Garlic Parmesan fries were the let down served along side of this killer steak entree. I really should have asked to have removed from the bill as we only ate a few. The texture was too limp, not the best serving temperature and just paled to meet the quality and worthy-ness to be alongside of previous mentioned. Either the Chocolate Mousse cake or the Coconut cake will end your meal with a smile. Their coffee was a welcome "best one for the road" and perfect for clearing a palate over taxed with this warm decadent chocolate sauce and impressively light chocolate cake. Christine (and her helpers) were spot on accurate, menu knowledgeable and friendly. For being so busy (uh, full house) this too so helped make for a successful 2.5 hour dining experience with friends.

This place was great! Steak, appetizer, desert were great quality and preparation. Ate at bar due to not having an advance reservation and the service was great!

The juiciest, best and biggest ribeye ever! A big firefighter approval on the ribeye portions and taste! Tastes better than we make at the firehouse, and we get to eat it fresh and warm! Get the plate with the burrata cheese also, must try and not easily found in Orlando.

What a great experience from start to finish. My third time eating here. If you're a steak guy, there are few places that can compare. Showed up without reservations during a time when they had 3 conventions in town. Wait was a tolerable 45 minutes. Service was spectacular as was the food. Definitely try the Caesar Salad table side and any of the delicious steaks, I had the porterhouse AMAZING You can never go wrong here. This is a must go to place in Orlando!

I've been here twice, the first time was right after they opened and my husband and I had a wonderful experience. We returned this week and brought our family from out of town to enjoy the Magical Dining menu. I definitely had some high expectations from the last visit, and I really felt a bit left down this time. Now, I have have no complaints about the food, I liked everything I tried. I started with the shrimp and gouda flatbread and also tried my husband's veal stuffed pepper. Both were great! For my entree I had the veal chop. I loved how it was served with the lemon on top, it really added to the flavor. I thought it paired perfectly with the arugula cranberry salad, anything heavier would have been too much since the veal was breaded and a nice size. I had the coconut cake before, so I already knew that was good. I heard the cannolis were excellent too! Our family felt the children's menu left a bit to be desired so they asked if they could split a magical dining for the kids, but the waiter said the $15 splitting fee would still apply for kids. So they ended up spending less money than the $33 magical dining and got the kids the pasta and pizza from the kids menu, which the kids thought were just okay. I get rules are rules, so I can't complain about this too much, but wouldn't they have rather made a bigger sale and had happier customers? I TOTALLY get why those rules are in place for adults, but they were 6 and 8 years old. The major negative issue during our dining experience was that the food took so incredibly long! They appetizers came in reasonable time, but after that it went downhill without explanation. I mean it was over a half an hour from clearing the app plates till dinner, then another half an hour from clearing the dinner plates till dessert. Don't get me wrong, we had wonderful time hanging out with our family, but it really was a bit much. Also worth mentioning, we got auto gratuitied for 4 adults and 2 children. It was 20% and they took it from not just the total, but the total after the tax. I'm hoping this was just an off night in the kitchen. I'm sure I will come back again some day, and I hope I can add another star at that time, because I respect the fact that is family business in a area like this, and I really enjoy the food.

Make a reservation, because 1) it fills up fast and 2) you HAVE to go here!! We went for the Magical Dining month special. Stefano's has to be one of our favorites from the series so far. My boyfriend got the 22oz Delmonico steak and, despite his best efforts, still had about a 8oz leftover. That's a whole other steak! The veal I ordered was also delicious, with a light lemon taste. Be aware, you have to order sides extra, but its so much food, you might not need it. The penne alla vodka is a solid choice, though, and enough to share! We will definitely be coming back outside of Magical Dining month!

So we were recommended to visit this restaurant by a family relative and since it was magical dining, it made it an easy choice. I must say for a restaurant that claims itself as a steak house, the delmonico was quite average. It was cooked well but was a tad over seasoned. Additionally, the service was terrible. I think I had to wait 10 minutes for my water glass to be refilled. I definitely won't come back to this place. For the price, its competitors nearby are much better.

Stefano's was the first restaurant on my list for Magical Dining Month. And boy has the bar been set high for all the others on that list! Excellent, attentive service by Dana. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday night. Maybe other folks also came in to take advantage of the amazing $33 deal that started yesterday. I had the Tortellacci for my app, the 22 oz. Delmonico steak for my entree (of course!), and finished it off witn the heavenly coconut cake for my dessert. The appetizers and desserts on the OMDM menu are smaller than if one was to order off the regular menu, however, they are still very generous portions. The food was simply delicious. Everythibg is prepared from scratch, all seafood is line-caught, never frozen or farm raised... it is a farm-to-table concept. The steak was perfectly seasoned and done, it was a beautiful cut of meat. The steak is accompanied by a strip of bacon, a grilled pepper, and a head of garlic that is baked all day... then they squeeze out and fork smash the cloves tableside, season it with pink Himalayan salt and olive oil... yummmm! And oh, that coconut cake! Light and airy and deliciously coconut-y. Must have! I look forward to returning soon!

It was huge and cooked properly Crab cakes - real crab ! Not a lot of filler, exactly how it should be Coconut cake - delicious and light The music was also perfect for us . We ate here Friday night. We knew it would be crowded because Magical Dining is going on this month. It was definitely crowded however they were very helpful in getting a spot for the four of us. This is some of the best food in Florida. I had the crab cakes and the others had the 22 oz ribeye. We will definitely be back.

Magical Dining month in Orlando means my pals and I get out and try new restaurants in The City Beautiful! My Euro-gypsy son who is here for a few days and was a bit confused about the concept asked if he could join us for Disney Dining! "No, no, it's Magical Dining!" I must say "magical" is too mild a word to describe our dining adventure at Stefano's...let's try monumental, instead-Oh YEAH-monumental fits!! Stefano's Magical Menu includes your choice from three appetizers, entrees, and desserts. As a party of three, we decided to sample all selections on the prix fixe menu. I had the tortellacci appetizer, my husband the shrimp gouda flatbread and my son the veal stuffed banana pepper-and of these, the hands down fav was the stuffed pepper that was spicy and tender stuffed with delicately seasoned ground veal and topped with a generous amount of cheese and smothered in tomato sauce. The flatbread was very light and spiced to perfection while the tortellacci was a beef-stuffed pasta and meatball too heavy for my taste, but perfect for the two large appetites sitting across from me! The Entrees we had were ENORMOUS!!!! My son had the 22oz prime rib seasoned and cooked to order which also came with a bulb of roasted garlic-yes, the whole dang bulb-YUM!!! My husband had two of the best JUMBO lump crab cakes I have ever tasted. They were subtly sweet and perfectly cooked and spiced with almost no breading whatsoever-served with a light and mildly tangy tartar sauce. For the Pièce de Résistance, I had a T-bone sized veal chop lightly breaded and cooked to absolute perfection served atop an arugula and cranberry salad. This chop was as big as my head!! I love veal and have eaten it in Rome, Venice and Naples Italy, but this was the best cut of veal I have ever been served! Dessert choices were also molto bene!! I have never been a fan of cannoli....until I had the killer cannoli at Stefano's, that is! Made in house, it was the perfect balance of mascarpone and pastry. The coconut cake is their signature dessert and although it is exceptionally moist and certainly did not disappoint, our favorite was definitely the chocolate mousse cake that was rich and dark with a surprise of dark ganache between the layers. If you can only try one restaurant during Magical Dining, make it Stefano's!!!!

Visited Stefano's for the Magical Dining week and left with mixed feelings. The food was very good. For the price of the Magical Dining we expected smaller portions but the steak was huge. You pay for sides separately and the pasta was a little bland. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and sides and had so much we needed to take leftovers home. The service was the downside. The entire night the service dragged. After we were seated we waited a long time before someone even approached the table and it was not busy. No refills and long periods of time where we would see no server. As it got busier throughout the night the service stayed just as slow. Not sure if there were a lot of new servers or not but it felt like they didn't have a grasp on how to handle tables. Since the food was good I'd recommend the restaurant as a nice option in the Dr. Phillips area though.

We made reservations online for the 6 of us and arrived about 30 min early. This was no issue and we were seated as soon as we got there. Our waiter was Michael and he went way above what our expectations were. He was extremely pleasant and suggested at least 3 appetizers and 3-4 entrées. For our appetizers we got the burrata served over arugula, fried zucchini, and the homemade sausage. The homemade sausage was so tasty and had onions and peppers cooked with it. All 3 were absolutely amazing! For dinner, I got the special which was T-bone steak which was 35 oz. I usually struggle with places cooking my steak too long but medium rare here was PERFECT. Some other entrées at our table were the penne a la vodka, chicken parm, and a sausage and pepperoni flatbread. All delicious! We shared 3 desserts : the cheesecake, tiramisu, and coconut cake. Once again we weren't disappointed ! Overall, this was a great experience for all of us. Mary, Michael, and the staff were awesome! Very attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home! If you aren't sure of where to go, GO HERE, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!! Heck I even joined Yelp just to leave a good review !

Excellent food. Nice ambience. Most importantly (for my wife), they have great gluten-free options. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food. They do make everything from scratch, in all fairness, but that was quite a bit of time. All in, expect at least two hours when you go.

Just did Magical Dining at Stefano's! Amazing. Excellent elegant service by Michele. Be certain to ask for him. Nice quiet atmosphere for an early dinner. I had crab cakes and asparagus, truly perfect. Partner had Delmonico steak cooked to perfection and very delicious. We were so full took our deserts home-Coconut cake melts in your mouth and chocolate cake is a really decadent for those of us who are chocolate lovers. Very fine experience will definitely come back.

Wow amazing that is all I can say. The bread, zucchini appetizer ( which is free with a yelp check in), lobster ravioli, steak, parm fries, coconut cake, and creme brûlée everything was amazing. We spent a pretty good amount but it was worth every penny. We'll be back soon. Best restaurant I've ever been too.

Kind of a weird atmosphere but I had this amazing pasta with filet mignon that was out of this world. That is all I remember, but I plan on coming here again soon and update my review at that time. So if you go, you seriously must try that pasta. It is not often that I literally say "hmm" to every single bite I take. And this dish definitely had all the flavor that took me back to stuff I had in Italy.

We were seated immediately, atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Buy one get one free Mimosas was very agreeable. My companion and I both got Chicken and Waffles. Mine came out a bit lack luster and his came out looking a bit more fresh, and you could taste the difference. There was a party of nine that was also in attendance and they got priority so their food came out first and we waited at least 40 minutes for a meal that should only take 20 minutes to cook. If there are only 11 people in the restaurant and they are slowed by a party of nine people they need more cooks or better ones. Bill came out to $40.47 for two guests. That's a pricey breakfast for any budget, alcohol included or otherwise. Service was acceptable but not outstanding. Would not recommend for brunch. Stick with keke's next door for a better experience.

Hands down the BEST restaurant I have EVER ATE AT!! I can speak on behalf of a table of four that we had a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end. We went on a Saturday night around 6 after discovering great reviews here on yelp. Our orders included the 22oz Delmonico steak (MR) and the lobster ravioli with a side of lobster tail. We were served an appetizer on the house of a fried zucchini and bread. We finished the night with a succulent piece of coconut cake that was also to die for! I can't begin to tell you how perfect everything was. I will make certain that anytime I am looking for a delicious meal in Orlando - I will be here at Stefanos.

We recently moved to the area and have been eager to try many of local restaurants of Dr. Phillips. Tonight we decided to try Steffano's Grill, which according to my research has gotten decent reviews. Unfortunately we never got the opportunity. We walked in to the restaurant at around 6 o'clock to find a beautifully decorated restaurant with one elderly man sitting at the bar, 2 parties of 3 having an early dinner and a large party of about 20 setting up to have what seemed like an amazing night. The staff seemed inattentive with a lost in space kind of mentality because we were standing at the host stand for a good 2 minutes waiting for a hostess or some kind of acknowledgement. No hostess at the hostess at the hostess stand. The blond bartender with the stylish hair dew was shaking a drink behind the bar and she saw that we were waiting, but never made a gesture or inform anyone to service us. Finally a young lady, who seemed to be the hostess came to the host stand to greet us. No apology for no one being there to greet us and making us wait, which was a little off putting. She welcomed us and asked if we had a reservation. We replied no. She asked how many in our party and we replied "3"! She informed us that they don't have anything available at the moment, but if we would have a seat at the bar, we might get a table in about 20 minutes. I don't have a problem waiting 20 minutes for tables. What I have an issue with is that We were asked to wait for a table in a restaurant that was currently only serving 2 tables. She said that the rest of the tables were committed, but if one didn't show we would get the table. If one didn't show? What kind of answer is that? What they do show? Does this mean we'll have to wait longer? I have to gamble our time on wether or not someone shows up for a reservation? I could have accepted if she told me we were completely booked for the moment and have something in a couple of hours, but to sit at the bar and see if we "might" get a table is amateurish. Then a manager came over and instead of offering a more informed quote time to get a table, she offered us seating outside. Now the weather outside tonight was optimal for outdoor seating, and my family and I enjoy eating outside from time to time. However, their outdoor seating looked more like a waiting area and not a dinning area. Not set properly! Incomplete! Uninviting! We left and went to Ruth's Chris. We'll eventually give this place another chance and make sure to make a reservation well in advance. I don't care how good the food is, if they fail to meet my hospitality expectations again, I'll dine at one of the other hundred establishments on restaurant row.

If your looking for homemade Italian this is where you need to go. The Caprese Salad is great. Garlic bread they make in house is to die for. Have them make you a Cesar Salad from scratch table side( yes they make the dressing right there). Brought my girlfriend here for the 1st time she now said I have to bring her back once a week if not just for the Salad. They take allergies very seriously. I have a severe onion Allergy and they were able to cater to me. I also saw they had Gluten free options on the menu. If you want to feel like family take a trip here. Stefano, his wife Mary, Patrick & the staff will make you feel right at home. Another cool thing I noticed was the outlets all over the restaurant had usb plugs so you can charge up while you fill up. Nice touch.

Went here for the magical dining month. Small, cosy, restaurant teetering on cramped. The menu was good. I had the crab cakes and they were good but paled in comparison to the ridiculously phenomenal rib eye steak. The desserts were homemade but meh.

Amateur service posing for gourmet! We came for Mother's Day brunch what a waist!! Food slow almost non-existing for over an hour. Rude an non-professional service playing favors with guest perceived as "regulars". Changed our reservation from Ocean Prime last minute. Bad decision!!

Those visiting - get off International Drive and forget the chains. This is the experience you have been looking for. I took my family (wife, twins 11, son 9) and had one of the best experiences. The wine was good and priced right. We had the fried mozzarella balls for an appetizer and it was perfect. Lightly breaded and flashed fried, it was just right. My daughter and I split the caprasee salad - it was enough for 3 and was phenomenal. My wife had the house salad and said the homemade dressing was to die for. We selected the Tomahawk Steak (55 oz.++). Holy moly what a steak! Carved table side by Chef Stef himself it was such a treat. They took the grilled garlic and made a paste right there. Added a side of penne paste in a vodka sauce with a side of sautéed spinach and it was... Beautiful! Ended the night with a "small" piece of chocolate cake (easily fed 5). It was the perfect ending. I will eat here EVERY TIME I come to Orlando. Thank you for such a great night for my family.

You get better service at Outback and Longhorn. $49.90 for a 10 oz fillet...No New York Strip and it was dead for a Wednesday evening. Yelp, please change from two to three $$$. Save your money and go to Ruth's Steak House.

Stefanos is a local mom and pop. They have amazing food and excellent service ! We went for magical dining and had : Shrimp Gouda flatbread - good Tortellacci - great , meatball was delicious Delmonico steak - perfectly seasoned! It was huge and cooked properly Crab cakes - real crab ! Not a lot of filler, exactly how it should be Coconut cake - delicious and light The music was also perfect for us . We chose this restaurant because it was our anniversary and it was on magical dining. Now I know to refer it to everyone I know ! It was an excellent experience and we will be back ! Thank you !

Amazing family owned restaurant. Delmonico steak just melts in your mouth . It is large enough to spilt between 2. Jacob was awesome, making us feel right at home. Perfect local spot to enjoy.

Horrible service We went for Mothers Day brunch today . Hands down the worst service I have ever seen. The server yelled at me everytime I asked for something stating it was being worked on in the back. I asked for eggs Benedict and never received it. They bring out pasta first to fill you up with cheaper items before the meats come out. We had to ask over 5 times for the meats. They have a guaranteed 20 percent tip so there is no incentive to be nice to customers I would not recommend visiting this restaurant Many many other good options in the area. Go to ocean prime dragonfly vines or Eddie v's Skip this one.

Very impressed with this place! First time here and we ordered from the magical dining menu. Started off with the flat breads which were amazing! I had the shrimp with gouda and my boyfriend had the speciality flat bread. For our entrée I had the veal which was lightly breaded and my boyfriend had the 22 oz steak which I highly recommend. Steak was so delicious and so juicy.

My wife and I arrived in Orlando today and were looking for a good steak for dinner. We found Stefano's and decided to give it a try. We were seated and Rebecca waited on us. She was wonderful and her recommendations were spot on. We ordered wine, there choices are very nice, and started with the stuffed banana peppers. Very original and tasty. We then shared the Delmonico steak ( rib eye) It was cook and seasoned perfectly. We really enjoyed our meal and the wait staff that worked as a team to make our experience great.

We LOVED this place, great atmosphere, the service was outstanding and the food fresh and delicious. We were vacationing from Virginia and talked about how we wished there was a place like Stefano's in our neighborhood. It would be a favorite local place or somewhere to go for special occasions. Steaks, seafood or Italian this is where you should go!

Patronized: 9/26/14 I had a friend come in from out of town and I told her about Magical dining month. Since she was staying in the Universal area-- I told her to pick a place nearby that she was excited about and we would go there. Stefano's was her pick and I am so glad that it was. We arrived about 9pm and it was slammed. The hostess let us know that there would be a wait and we stayed near the front to wait it out. Then we were introduced to the most professional, knowledgeable member of Stefano's staff-- a 9 year old old girl who carries herself WAY wise & mature beyond her years. She knows that business. She explained how everything is made in house, from sauces to sausages. She showed us a wine menu while we waited for our table to open up. She was completely adorable yet professional at the same time. I'm not really a kid person especially in fine dining establishments BUT she is the example that others need to follow. Our table of four was seated and although we knew that were were going to do the MDM menu, we also were going to get sides and salads that weren't part of that menu. Their house salad was crisp and with just the right amount of dressing. I told them no tomatoes or onions & they stuck to that but added some extra cucumber and carrots for me. I personally had the shrimp & gouda flatbread as my appetizer, Our waiter Erik told us that they were out of Delmonico steaks but that they would substitute the porterhouse for that instead if that was alright. UMMMMM... DUH!! That wasn't a hard decision at all! The steak was cooked perfectly and it had to be about 20 oz+ of meat.. My bf and I got the sides of asparagus (which had just the right amount of pepper and sea salt) & scalloped potatoes. We ended the night with coconut cake (keep that dessert baker on, it was heavenly) & the bf had tiramasu. I'm not a chocolate fan so his dessert was safe. PROS: EVERYTHING! The staff, the food, the strong pour of drinks. Cons: NOTHING. It was worth the 20 min wait that we had. I can't wait to visit this place again. MDM or not-- the food and service is worth every penny.

First, I have to explain how much my wife loves Caesar salad. She's Obsessed. Whenever we go out, she always orders a Caesar with an extra side of dressing (to dip bread in afterwards.) When I was young, I remember going to restaurants with my parents and the server would prepare a fresh Caesar salad at the table. For Valentines Day, I wanted to find a place in Orlando that did table-side Caesar. Believe it or not, it's hard to find a place that does table-side Caesar. While searching online, I came across Stefano's. I called and made a reservation. On Valentines Day, we made the trip to Dr. Phillips and were seated quickly. The restaurant was very crowded as they brought in extra tables to accommodate the Valentine's customers. Our server (Brandon) came to our table to take drink orders and order the Caesar salad. Brandon informed us that since the restaurant was so crowded for Valentine's day, the Caesar Salads were being made in the kitchen. We let him know how we were looking forward to the table-side service, and he told us he'd make it work. Before we knew it, he brought out several plates and a wood bowl. He brought all the ingredients right to our table and explained each ingredient and began the Caesar process right on the table! During the whole time we were there, we were the only table that got the table-side Caesar. Valentines Day may be one of the busiest days in the restaurant, but he was willing to take the time to perform the table-side show! After we got the salad, the rest of the food was equally as amazing. I would recommend the "Super Food" Chicken, their take on Chicken Florentine. It was delicious. We will return to Stefano's again. With all the chain restaurants in town, it's refreshing to have such a hidden gem. I gave 5-stars based on the extraordinary service and equally great food.

Came in due to the overflow from the wait at KeKe's and we are so glad we did. Note that everything is made from scratch so it does take a while to get your food, but it is SO worth the wait. I had the biscuits and gravy and my boyfriend had the chicken Milanese. It's very rare for me to admit when food is better than my cooking and growing up in the south, I have perfected my own biscuits and gravy recipe. I will say that this blows my homemade recipe out of the water. It was absolutely delicious and I wish I had more room in my stomach to finish it. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. Our compliments to the chef. Will be returning to try dinner next time we are in town.

Stefano's Grill catered our event for 50 people and they RAVED about the food! It went quickly, and people went back for seconds and thirds. In fact, people stuck around just for the food! Thanks Chef Steff, Mary, and Chef Kevin for making this event EASY with a phone call, confirmation email, and the food was there. Thank you!

Ok this is going to sound like an advertisement This place is over the top.Chef Owned and run. The main ingredient is Passion. 5 of us all had different entrees. Table side Caesar salad that had exactly the perfect balance of crisp and season. The melt in your mouth demonic steaks were among the most tender and well cooked we have ever had. The pasta side dish was awesome . Veal was pounded thin and delectable. From the apps to the deserts. We were all blown away . I work hard and I deserve this.I will be back soon. Brandon, Shannon Jody And the owners Mary&Chef Stefano made us feel like family

I was pleased with our choice of Stefanos. We started with an appetizer of fried zucchini. Very tasty. The shrimp smoked Gouda flat bread pizza was great. We all really liked the fresh cheese bread that they came around with. The chicken Chablis was outstanding. Overall this was a great meal and everyone enjoyed what they had. Will go back anytime.

I can't say enough about this place, we were greeted at the door with genuine smiles by the hostess. Ordered the zucchini appetizer followed by the Veal parm as the entree with the penne alla vodka as a side, it was out of this world. Management was on the ball making sure everything was running smooth. You won't go wrong with this place!

I'm pretty sure my friends and I tried everything on the menu! It was all fabulous! My favorites were the veal stuffed banana peppers and the kale salad!! The steak melted in my mouth and the coconut cake was incredible! The wine list was great. The staff and service were perfect. I will be back soon!

We tried this place out based upon Yelp reviews. Honestly, the food was pretty good, but the service and the atmosphere were, well, confusing. It's a large room, designed to look sort of mafia tough guy clubby. Dark walls, leather seats, table linens layered over each other. It's LOUD. They'll pull out your lady's chair, drape your napkin over your lap, offer $6 bottles of still water. Their price points say "fine dining," but the servers were very young and a little bumbly. Our server "highly recommended " everything on the menu, and sort of rambled on and on about the ingredients in every single dish. I could see how ownership might have wanted it all presented, but it just didn't work for a restaurant in a strip mall. All that said, my $14 gimlet and my pasta dish were tasty.

We decided to hit this place up for our date night. Date night does not come often with a 2 year old and me working so much, so expectations were high. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! The food and service was impeccable. So fresh! So clean! So perfect!!! Finish your meal with some Grappa!! Great cleanser, Italian Style!

The moment we stepped into a very cozy place and we're welcomed getting seated right away. We started off with magical dining menu given promptly by stephanie. Rick our server was immediately there about beverages and specials about the menu. drinks ordered and delivered quickly. next onto our choices of appetizers one was veal stuffed peppers with a spicy sauce which was rubbed clean by several pieces of cheesy garlic bread. All others ordered bucatta cheese salad with balsamic dressing. it was delicious also accompanied with more right out of the oven bread. entrees were all the same 22 OZ aged delmomico steak which were all cooked to perfection. we ordered desserts but we're too full after starters and part of steak to indulge in the offerings. All was boxed by server and went home with very happy people. I highly recommend this restaurant to have a dinner or even romantic one as well. definitely going to again. The owner came by three times to check on our food and was so nice. found a new favorite. I will be booking future dinners here with our meet up group.

The best steaks anywhere! If you love steak, forget Mortons or Ruth's Chris. Stefano's will be your favorite. They are hand cut to order, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious! We started with the table side ceasar which I also highly recommend and finished with the incredible homemade coconut cake. To die for! This place is the best meal in Orlando!

We made Valentine's Day reservations about a month ago. We arrived and our table was available within 5 minutes. This was amazing, I was in the restaurant business for over 20 years, and this is a hard feat to accomplish. Kudos to your staff! Our server, Rebecca, was a true gem. She assisted with a wine selection for my partner, who is not a wine drinker, and nailed it for him. I cannot even do this because he is normally a beer man. We started our dinner with the fresh hot bread simply a great treat. The Chivalade appetizer was just outstanding and we looked forward to our entree at this point. We both had the Delmonico Steak. What can I say it was the most flavorful and precisely cooked steak we both had EVER enjoyed. We will definitely return to enjoy/sample the regular menu items. Thank you again, Our Valentine's dinner was definitely one we shall remember for years to come. Very Satisfied patron, Rodney Malcom

We are three foodies from the SF Bay Area and Italy who were looking to enjoy a meal at a non Disney and non chain restaurant. Thank you yelpers for your great reviews that took us here tonight! We were greeted so warmly by Mary and she was most helpful in our wine selection. So difficult as they have a delicious and unusual cocktail menu as well. We enjoyed two orders of Veal Chablis, one salmon special prepared in this style. I had the pasta and split a kale salad. The bread! Delicious. All is still making my mouth water which is terrific as we all took home leftovers. Sadly no room for dessert as that also looked yummy. I will recommend Stefano's to anyone I know coming to Orlando. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Came here tonight for dinner. Batting 1.000. It was great. Super friendly. Got my group of 3 in without a reservation. The mozzarella salad is great. Get the pasta appetizer. It one of the best meals I've had in a while.

My new favorite place. All the food and wine and service and desserts are incredibly good. The flour they make the pasta and bread and cakes with comes from Italy or some place overseas so you don't have to worry about chemicals in the bread. They have really tasty marinara sauce and veal parmigiana. You can get gluten free dishes. The chocolate cake and the coconut cake are made with whip cream not sugary frosting. I went Saturday night for dinner and went back Sunday for brunch. They have really good crab eggs Benedict. I had a Poinsettia which is cranberry juice and champagne and that was really good. The drinks were buy one get one free. Long may they feed me. You should go, often.

FINALLY made it for Wednesday evening happy hour! Drinks are regular price, but if you sit at the bar, they bring out appetizer after appetizer. Very nice, and great about remembering who was vegetarian, no red meat, gluten, blah blah blah. The food, as always, was super! Tried the kale salad for the first time - they were happy to split it for us, and it was awesome!

We came here for a nice dinner after hearing about the restaurant at a golf tournament... The restaurant is small and in a rather average shopping centre but the experience was above that.. we happen to go on a unusually busy night so the service was a tad on the slower side.. highly recommend the table side ceasar salad.. Our main entrees were pretty good perhaps not quiet worth the price... The cocktails were amazing.. Their coconut cake dessert is awesome and worth the 12 dollar price as you get a actual mini cake.. we will probably go for brunch next..

We have been coming to Orlando for the past 15 years on business and always have trouble finding new delicious places to eat. Very happy we came across this place and I would highly recommend it to all. The Cesar salad was a great start followed by the scallop potatoes, Brussel sprouts and the aged ribeye. We will for sure return next year. By the way the service was impeccable all they way from the help to the owner.

Went to this restaurant based on recommendations in Yelp and I was not disappointed. Our servers were Jessie and Brandon (and sometimes Josh) and they did a great job. We took advantage of the free zucchini appetizer through the use of my Yelp app and we also ordered the coconut shrimp and the meatballs. The meatballs are NOT to be missed - 2 big meatballs for $5 and since we had a party of three, they were able to add an extra meatball for $2. We ordered the Caesar salad and the dressing was made fresh at our table and Jessie explained the process completely. For dinner, we had the filet and the penne a la vodka pasta. Two of us had the filet added to the penne and the steak seasoning seemed to overpower the penne sauce. One guest had the filet with the penne on the side and that was more flavorful (and not as salty). We finished with the coconut cake (a complete small cake that 4 people could share!) based on Yelp recommendations and were quite pleased with it. Two areas of improvement-I agree with a few reviews that state the place is quite LOUD. Although only half the tables were in use, it was difficult to hear at times. We heard the table next to us very clearly. It the place is full, it may be too overwhelming. They need paintings on the wall or something on the ceiling to break the noise level. Second item was the Captain's Cosmo (with dried cranberries at the bottom-excellent!) The first drink was perfectly prepared and the second one was way too sweet, syrupy and took over 10 minutes to get to our table. When we complained about the taste, Jessie quickly brought us perfectly prepared cosmos in their place. Stefano's has only been open a year per Brandon. With a few improvements, it could be a five star restaurant! We will be back.

Small little place in Dr. Phillips, you could almost miss it. I got wind of this restaurant through Disney's Magical Dining month. I saw that they served the 22oz Delmonico and just had to try it. Seated immediately. Hostess was very nice. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Staff was excellent. Service was excellent. Always checking to see if we needed anything and making sure the food was to our liking. The stuffed banana pepper was a nice start. Lamb was tasty and the pepper gave it a nice kick. Now the main attraction, the 22oz Delmonico was simply amazing. Seasoned well, cooked the way I ordered and just just hit the spot. Of course the steak is going to have fat on it, it's supposed to! If i wanted lean meat, I wouldn't be ordering a nice, big, juicy steak. The tiramisu just melts in your mouth. I've had others that just felt like regular coffee-chocolate flavored cake. But this one just melts to come together in a single entity that lights your taste buds into bliss.

In Orlando for 1 week and went to all of the typical chain restaurants. Stefano's Grill is not a chain and they served the best dinner by far. Food was fresh, scratch-made, and cooked perfectly. This will be a must-stop location on future visits to Orlando.

Great restaurant. We were staying at Waldorf Astoria Orlando but looking for a less touristy restaurant. The food here was fantastic. We loved the crab cake appetizer, the shrimp and Gouda flatbread, the Delmonico steak and the meatballs. Sides of fries, broccoli and bacon Brussels sprouts were amazing. Service was very friendly and attentive, not at all stuffy. We all had a great time.

Quite simply, your paying for Morton's or Ruth's Chris and getting Outback. I want good efficient service, not a new best friend. If I ask for a sauce, I'd like it before I finish my meal. When I order medium rare I want the whole steak medium rare, not half medium well. The kale salad was excellent, but my associate wanted a Caesar and they only;y have service for two. It is a wannabe with a long road ahead.

Great atmosphere and very good customer service. I tried a steak I never had before and it was awesome. This is definitely the place to go on a date with your spouse or significant other. What a great place. I live in Tampa and if I travel to Orlando it is usually for business. I am not really into chains and like to find something unique, friendly, warm, exciting and delicious. Well I found it. Kelly was a great bartender. I went on a Thursday evening around 730 no reservations. The place was pretty busy. I cruised up to the bar and was warmly greeted. One of the owners Mary remembered my call about the place and greeted me as well. Stefano was the chef and he was found in and out of the kitchen. I had the zucchini appetizer. Great. Light. delicate. not greasy at all. The marinara sauce was delicious. I had a customized flatbread. Great. The crust was light, a little chewy (good) and a little crisp around the edges (good). Sauce was great. Ingredients were fresh. Vegetarians they will accommodate you in many ways (Pasta, flatbread pizza, polenta or salads), The wine choices expand past the menu; just ask. I had such a wonderful experience even dining alone. I met wonderful people not only around me but also those who worked there. I would say if you go on a Saturday/Friday evening you probably need a reservation. I wouldn't risk it unless I showed up before 6pm. Would I go back? YES. Did I already recommend this to a couple I know? YOU BET.

I'm first generation Italian, and you will be hard pressed to find better Italian food in Orlando then this. We flew 3000 miles to visit Disney World, but we just keep talking about the food at Stefano's. Can't wait to go back. Salute!

We had a group of 12 and everything from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food was fantastic! Stefano's created an incredible 8 coarse meal that drove our taste buds wild and craving more. The Delmonico steak was absolutely incredible. I've been to most of the big places such as Capitol Grill, Ruth Chris, Morton's, Flemings, and Gibson's in Chicago which WAS my personal favorite. Stefano's tops them all! Sure you get a great steak at Ruth Chris and company, but there is no question Stefano's is better. Aside from Stefano's cuisine being top notch, there's something to be said to have the chef himself prepare and oversee the entire dinner. Chef Stefano personally gave our group, as well a other tables, personal attention describing what is being served and how it was prepared. Stefano is a perfectionist and truly strives to please his guest and it was clearly evident the support staff was equally passionate to serve and please. Thanks Stefano! We will be back.

I have had four meals there now. With the variety on the menu you can eat there often. There is something for everyone. Classic Italian to unreal cuts of meat. He had my favorite the other night Delmonico Steak. Its a great price and value. Highly rate the menu, wine, service. They have great salads too. If you save room their Cannoli are really good. I asked and it is some kind of special hand made crust they get.

During our two weeks in Florida, Stefano's Grill provided THE BEST MEAL we ate the entire time. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated very warmly by everyone - a real nice environment, not too stiff or stuffy as some finer dining can be. The bartender Shannon mixed some fun drinks for us and then Mary suggested the perfect wine. Brandon made us the best table-side Caesar salad I've ever had! The Flash-Fried zucchini is a must! My steak was out of this world delicious and the black rice and homemade spaghetti were perfect sides. And finally the coconut-cake was sublime! Thank you Chef Steff, Mary & the whole crew. (p.s. they play the best music too!)

We had our first change to experience Stefano's @ Wine and Dine @ 9, during the Bay Hill golf tournament. Stefano's served out least favorite food, a hot sausage, get this just the sausage, no sauce to balance the blandness of the meat or to introduce acid to off set the protein, and no cheese. After tasting it, I came back a spoke to the "manager" she said it was their most favorite appetizer! I replied again that the other restaurants were serving food that was to be blunt, more interesting and flavorful, and that the heat of the sausage interfered with the other food. She did not care to listen, and blew me off and my wife saw her laughing behind my back to the Stefano's term there. I have to say that the cooks did not laugh but were interested in the comment. Needless to say we will not be going to Stefano's. With ALL of the food choices in the area Stefano's will never come to our attention again. RIP Stefano's.

A restaurant with great promise. The food was exceptional in all regards. The Delmonico steaks were tremendous with one of the two a bit under temperature and the other slightly over seasoned. Both were within acceptability. The issues we have are front end operations. As a new restaurant, I had certain expectations from the signage. I was anticipating more steakhouse than Italian Tuscan grill. The steak selections were very limited (2 filets, the delmonicos, and pork chops). The advertisement also highlighted Chateaubriand which wasn't offered but was what got us to go. The front end was more argumentative than accepting of the issue. As a result we were asked around 17 different times how things tasted. There was so much over checking that it disrupted our conversations. My suggestion is that servers articulate the vision of the owners as this is a new place. Trust the food will be great and don't be so informal. We had a ticket for 2 that was $115. A bit pricier than I expected going in.

The juiciest, best and biggest ribeye ever! A big firefighter approval on the ribeye portions and taste! Tastes better than we make at the firehouse, and we get to eat it fresh and warm! Get the plate with the burrata cheese also, must try and not easily found in Orlando.

My suggestion is that servers articulate the vision of the owners as this is a new place. Trust the food will be great and don't be so informal. We had a ticket for 2 that was $115. A bit pricier than I expected going in.

Honestly: the food was delicious! The steak is like no other and chef Stefano will proudly tell you so. The salad blew me away and so did their white wine selection. Truly a must stop!

My wife is a vegan and they do have vegan options available. She raved about the Kale salad and said it was the best she's ever had.

Salute!
