What does Steak 'n Shake have on the other burger craze chains? Not only do they have excellent burgers and shakes, they are open 24 hours! I've frequented this restaurant back in my college days and still enjoy it as an adult today. The menu really caters to all ages. The burgers here are juicy and cooked just right. I am not a big fan of the fries, but my husband absolutely loves them. And don't forget about the breakfast - they have incredibly tasty scrambled eggs and the hash browns are heaven in silver dollar form. They have added some things to their menu in recent years, such as yogurt parfaits and breakfast tacos. This particular location has very friendly staff. I've even seen them host weekend car washes which shows that this location goes out of their way to help out groups in the community. Another thing that I like is that I can order a shake in a kids size to-go cup. It's less expensive and is enough to satisfy my sweets craving without all the calories. All in all, sometimes you just need a burger and shake (at 3pm or 3am) and Steak 'n Shake is the winner.

OK, I love Steak & Shake. Our server Alexis was fantastic. But the manager Marcos was so rude & condescending over replacing one of my kid's mini corn dogs (because one of hers was a tiny, nickel-sized ball of dough, not a thumb-sized mini corn dog like the rest) that I was shocked. Yes, over replacing a mini corn dog. After 15 minutes of "trying to find one", according to our server, she offered to bring a salad, when my child mentioned it. Marcos then proceeded to bring out the corn dog in a cup, explain that the corn dogs are different sizes, and that he can't replace it with a side salad due to the "huge price difference". A salad is $2, BTW. Nice way to lose business over a mini-corn dog, Marcos!

I live closer to another Steak and Shake but this one had good reviews. I was NOT disappointed. Great food. Great Service. I will be going back here. Waiter was very pleasant and never let a drink go below half. Food didn't take long at all and was hot when it came to the table. Great place! 5 stars!

The people who work here are always very nice and efficient. They aren't quite as charming as the East Colonial location but close and like the colleagues over at East Colonial, the food is uniformly tasty. Quite frankly, both locations are evil, mainly because their delicious, artery clogging food is too easy to me to get to and scarf down with delight.

Love this Steak n' Shake! I always order the Frisco Melt. It's the best! Also, the Salted Caramel Pretzel shake is really good. Service has always been good at this location.

Marcos the manager is a huge prick! Made a point to come out and defend his decision to send out a piece of breading as a corn nugget then gave our server a hard time about making another one! After waiting fifteen minutes for my 5 year old's nugget, we asked the server to forget it and ordered a salad instead. He made a point to come out and bring a single nugget in a cup and when I said forget it, she's done and I've ordered a salad instead, he lectured me about a salad being such a huge price difference that he wasn't going to switch them out (remember my child is waiting for her nugget for 15 min!). Then he told me that the nuggets "vary in size" and pointed out how much bigger the one he brought me was!!! It was the size of a nickel!! I told him I could pay for my own salad, I didn't expect something for nothing. Just a little customer service or a nugget without a side of lecture! Alexis was awesome and even offered to pay for our salad since the nugget took so long!!! Of course, I would never have let her actually do that, but she was the only pleasant part of the experience! Will not be returning to this location! As a former employee if steak and shake (over 20 years ago), I was embarrassed for this company to be represented in this manner.

Steak N Shake around Orlando is a hit or miss experience. This one, right down the road from UCF, has always been great. Aside from the fact that it is one of the nicer ones in the area as far as looks and actually being clean, the servers are extremely nice. I have not been there for late nights but I would imagine given the location that people watching would be fun. The breakfasts are wonderful and for the same price as what you would pay at the arches you can have a fresh cooked meal with coffee and service. If you have not stopped in yet, drop by the next time you are in the area.

During the day, it's nice. However, once the sun goes down, the drunk rowdy college crowd comes out to play. No big surprise since its so close to UCF, but having a quiet late-night meal would be a welcome commodity to the area. 4 stars during the day, but 3 at night.

If you've been rocking it at one of UCF's bars all night and are now starving for some burgers and shakes, this is the place you wanna go to for the after party. If you have a little bit of alcohol in your blood stream, nothing tastes better than some bacon burgers, jalapenos, french fries, and your favorite shake.

Conveniently located in between ucf and ucf's most attended bars. The perfect place to go to when you have had a little bit too much to drink and you need some fries and a frisco melt burger to sober you up. Food portions are small and cheap. Don't drink and drive.

Shakes, shakes shakes. .the best reason to come. Frisco melt is my weakness for a sandwich, with their thin fries. There were some major shortcomings with service...not greeted right away. Servers were arguing in back, seemed to be over staffed in the back of the house and short in front of the house. Two managers yet hardly in site.
