THEE absolute worst experience ever!!!!!!!! The server was all over the place, unorganized, and unprofessional. No one wants to know that u lost your cell phone and how drunk you got. The night before! She is obviously the daughter of the owner! I will NEVER EVER go back there again!!

Look, don't rate it 1 stars, thinking just cause your on yelp, every place has to be a trendy hip doody joint. This is not one of those places. But if you like good wings, decent pizza and a bar stop here. I'm not going to knock it down for being older, cluttered and dated. It's a family bar and pizza joint, is what it is.. Enjoy it, you don't find wings like this outside of buffalo ny much (were I am from)

I was introduced to Rossi's a while back ago by a good friend but hadnt returned until recently as once a month the Central Florida HomeBrew Club holds their meetings there. I have no complaints about this place at all. The staff is always nice and willing to help (heck the owner is in there most of the time helping out) and everything I have ordered thus far (pizza, wings, and the baked ziti) have all been very good and I would order them again. The place is big yet holds the 'family style' feel of a smaller restaurant. One of the best things I love about the place is their beer selection. What else could you ask for other than good food, good people, and good beer. all around a great place.

This is at least the fourth time I have been here,....Rossi's reminds me of what the Miller's Ale Houses would be if the Ale Houses were a mom and pop place built in the late 70s, They have a decent beer list and a wide variety of food to choose from. They also have a great selection of delicious pizza. My pizza snob husband approves!!! I love this place! We take the family and have a really good time. My kids seems to think that they need to be entertained when going out and they prefer to go to places that have a wide variety of options to drain us of all our quarters. Rossis definitely suits their needs in this category. It is on OBT N of the Florida Mall. We drive all the way from Osceola County to enjoy their food, beer and atmosphere. When you drive up to it,... you think oh wow this is gonna be a dive,... you walk in and say hey this place is pretty darn huge!!! The staff are really really friendly, efficient and accommodating too. The decor is dated but I think that that adds to the cool atmosphere. When I say dated it just refers to the aquamarine benches and older carpeting, but it is well maintained and clean. So if you are looking for great pizza, a variety of beer, a place you can easily go with the family or a LARGE group this is for you,... now if you are looking for something upscale with new furnishings??? maybe not soo much.

I wish I could give a zero star. This is suppose to be a steak Stromboli not steak-um meat. STEAK-UM, REALLY??? I am sure I consumed my sodium intake for the entire weekend. Cheese not melted. Over priced. Totally disappointed. Another so called Orlando tradition that will get no repeat business.

I am now learning that Yelp reviews are just like people. We are here on vacation and not in a hurry, so the slow service was exactly what we wanted. Food rating is always HIGHLY subjective, so you have to make your own decisions. We had the double decker stuffed pizza with hamburger, feta and pineapple and we thought it was awesome. After almost two weeks in Florida, this place had one of the best beer selections in the area for a small establishment. I would recommend this place to anyone who is not in a hurry and just wants to relax and enjoy the atmosphere!

Monday Another Orlando legend. Been eating here since 1968 and can't recall ever leaving upset. The Stromboli lunch was worthy. Egg washed to a delightful crunchy crust and all my favorite stuffings!. FYI- irst Sunday of month they sponsor the Central Fl. Home Brewers meeting.

The place is dark and musty smelling. Not very appealing when it comes to your choice of restuarant. I went yesterday 7/16/2015 during lunch and it wasn't packed. Dingy, greasy and outdated menus and atmosphere. Half of the restaurant is closed off, with supplies laying about. Kinda tacky. Got a pepperoni pizza, cause according to the reviews, the pizza is on point. No. It's not on point. It sorta tastes like that rectangular pizza you used to get in school, but thinner crust...or maybe Cici's....Oh well. I also had the lasagna. A bit too gowey and flavor-less in the middle, topped with an okay sauce. It comes with some nice warm garlic-y bread and a side salad. Also had the carrot cake. Not worth $4 for the size of the slice. Especially since I doubt they made it in house. It was an okay experience. I don't see myself returning ever in life, unless they revamped the décor.

Let's talk about this place for a second. Food=great (spinach calzone, you get me and my husband almost creid about the LYD style wings). But teh ambiance is unlike anything in the area. Yes, it's a dive bar, but what dive bar has been around for 50 years? the owners are huge beer snobs and teh sheer number of taps seems impossible. The quirky/outdated (so? what of it?!) decor makes me what to stay and peruse their wall forever. I usually sit at the bar and the ladies are so friendly and seem to really like being there and engaging with the customers. Each time I've been (or close) there is a party in one of the rooms. Tuesday night work outing that ends in shots? where can I apply to wherever you are from dear people. the place isn't much from the outside, and sprawls a bit on the inside. But the walking around might be the most fun part. Go as soon as you can.

My fiance and I frequent Rossi's at least twice a month. We have had nothing but great service and we always request that "Doug" be our server. "Doug" is actually an older woman who enjoys telling us jokes and is always very attentive. She knows the menu and always tries to get us to try new things. Our favorite is the pizza with onions, peppers, sausage, and pepperoni. The dough is sooooo good, they must put something in it because it is fantastic! We almost always get Parisian bread (try it, yummy!) and wings. Their teriyaki wings done "crispy" style are on point every time. They also have really good chocolate cannolis! Don't be fooled by the "old" decor. This place knows how to do pizza. Stop in and see for yourself1

Service was great! Very accompanying and friendly! Food tasted very fresh and was delicious! The staff was the best though. Fun and jovial and really makes me look forward to coming back. I think I found my new regular spot!

Haven't been here in years. Coupon from the Orlando Coupon book got us back in. Just a I remembered it. Good food from a family restaurant. Chicken piccata for me. Very good. Garlic Parmesan tortellini for J. Only improvement would be to redo the seats in the booths.

Great place!!! Double decker pizza great as well!! Servers always good especially Selena!! Will always ask for her. Doesn't look like much from the outside but this is exactly that fantastic "hole in the wall" place. Been coming for years and an occasional Groupon is a good thing too.

This place is the best old school itialian/pizza joint I have had in Orlando. It has a rustic atmosphere and very good food, at least the eggplant parm and the lasagna. The pasta items come with salad and garlic bread. Never before have I had garlic brass that comes with a meal taste so good. The pasta sauce tasted a lot like the one both my dad and grandmother made when I was growing up. As far as the service, not super fast, but we also never went without anything. Just right to keep the pace I dinner comfortable. Meghan was very friendly and made our entire table laugh. So many servers forget the job is not just about slinging food but engaging your guests and enhancing the experience. Sadly, she told us tomorrow is her last day. If things are the same the next time I will keep returning and keep recommending.

Rossi's has been going strong since 1965. Thick crust pizza with selections of over 10 toppings, seasoned, crispy, and very tasty... never disappoints. Greek salad had perfect amount of cheese and toppings with a house Greek dressing. Thursday night's, kids eat free. Atmosphere is great for kids, groups, or a quiet dinner out. Large selection of draft beers and a welcoming bar.

First time here. Great atmosphere. Fast service and good pizza. We got what was called a garbage pizza and it was delicious. Also a great selection of draft beers! Will def be back.

Love this place - been eating here since I was kid! The pizza is great, the calzones are wonderful, love the meatball sub. Only downside is the Pepsi Products (i'm a Coke girl...) but I won't hold that against them LOL. Great beer selection - great employees who get to know the regulars. It's my go-to place when I don't really know where I want to go.

  • Brian L.

If you're looking for fresh-seasonal-local, gluten-free or something else ludicrously trendy, this isn't that kind of place. If you want great American-Italian fare and a beer selection that impressed this hard-core beer geek, this place is great! The Alfredo on my tricolor tortellini was phenomenal, my Old Thumper ESB complimented it perfectly and my bill was very nice when with the other three people. There was some dust, but that's my one complaint. There's a reason that Rossi's has been around for 49 years, and I couldn't be happier with the place.

    (4)
  • Wendy W.

Double decker pizza was delicious! Great variety of beers on tap, as well as bottled beers. Service is slower, so it's good if you're not in a hurry & want to sit, relax and enjoy. Not fancy or modern, pretty low key.

It isn't fun to have to give a place like this 1 star, but i have no choice. This place must be getting positive reviews from either friends or people who just plain feel bad for them. Nothing food wise (pizza or wings) was above decent. The atmosphere could be alright if you wanted to watch some games here, but unfortunately the games are only on 27" tube TVs that are blurry as hell and placed at minimum 20 feet away from you. So it's basically pointless. How much does 1 projector OR say 3 LCD TVs cost anymore? Apparently too much for Rossi's. On top of that the service sucked. We came to watch the Sunday NFL games. We asked the server if there were any specials on pitchers straight up before we ordered he said "nope sorry, happy hour is over" so we said fine and ordered. After a couple screw ups and forgotten items we got our food. It was eh whatever bland. We finish up and pay for our meal and 3 pitchers of beer, walk out just to see 2 massive banners that say "DURING ALL NFL AND NCAA FOOTBALL GAMES BUD/BUT LIGHT PITCHERS JUST $6" meanwhile we were charged $10 each. Bottom line, this place is a sad dump and we won't be back. You can bet we won't be recommending any friends either Rossi's. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Lived in Orlando years ago and never knew about Rossi's. Went there this week for the first time and was amazed at the beer selection and real food. I was offerred samples before purchasing my new favorite; Cigar City's Jai Lai IPA...coming in at 7% abv. Wow, who would of thought someone in Florida brews real beer! ONE NOTE HOWEVER; MY PLEASURABLE FIND WAS RUINED WHEN AFTER I ASKED FOR MORE SAUCE FOR MY STROMBOLI, I WAS CHARGED ONE DOLLAR FOR WHAT AMOUNTED TO 2 SPOONS OF SAUCE. WHO CHARGES FOR EXTRA SAUCE IN A RESTAURANT THAT SERVES ITALIAN FOOD???. NOT A GOOD THING TO KEEP THE CUSTOMERS COMING BACK! (DELAYED REVIEW)

There was a hair in my food, over cooked dry chicken, slow service and was over charged. Everyone including the manager seemed to be bothered and annoyed and not apologetic. Waste of time and money. Not to mention they need to redo the place its dark, dirty and old

Really people?! I decided to come here after reading the reviews. I visited last week and as soon as I walked in I was welcomed by dust. Dang this place is dirty! I figured perhaps they haven't dusted in years let me give the food a try. I should have walked away as soon as I saw all of the dust. They serve huge portions of tasteless greasy food. Grease on everything. A little grease is ok but my goodness. This was my first and last time here. I still do not understand why the awesome reviews, perhaps family members wrote them. I really wanted to like this place. As I drove there I imagined how wonderful the Italian food was going to taste. Boy was I wrong! This place is really bad.

A very good reason to visit Rossi's: to try their stuffed pizzas! They are awesome! The only other time I have had stuffed pizza was in Chicago, so it was a great surprise to see it on the menu here. It was delicious. The crust is on the outside and the top is covered with garlic and parmesan. The crust is so flavorful. On the inside, you get alot of great cheese and any toppings you want. I got tomatoes and jalepenos and I really thoroughly enjoyed it. I of course recommend getting a 12 inch even if there are only 2 of you because leftovers are better than still being hungry. It is very filling, very tasty, and goes well with a side of marinara for the occasional dip. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious with many bar areas, TVs, and a good amount of seats. The server was very friendly and it was overall a great experience.

I did not fall in love with Rossi's, but I really wanted to. It's very homey and comfortable, the vibe is good. Perhaps I should have just gotten what I came there for, a burger. Upon scanning the menu though, we found something called 'Mexican Pizza'. If pizza and nachos had a love child, this would be it. You've got ground beef, black olives, onions and jalapenos topped with massive amounts of cheese and then, tortilla chips. You can order it 'deluxe' to get a side of lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Don't bother with that though, it's unnecessary. Oh, and for the health conscious you can get it (and all of their pizzas) on a whole wheat crust. Mmm-hmm! Curiosity has been appeased, however I will never, ever order that thing again. Not if I want to live past 45. The service the day of was very slow. Crazy slow. There was a 'mix up' in the kitchen and other patrons got their food first. The waitress apologized, but only after she overheard us wondering what the hold up was. For that I was going to give this 3 stars. The reason this got the bump to 4 stars - my BF left his watch on the table. He didn't realize it until later that night, called the next morning and the watch was in the manager's office. Kudos for an honest staff and helpful manager that saved the day. I'll definitely be coming back for that burger, and perhaps a more traditional pizza.

When I walk into this place I feel like a kid again. It still looks like a 80's restaurant. I went here a few times as a child and have been back twice in the last year or so. The reason I give it 3 stars is location (sketchy part of obt), i didn't really like the chicken parmigiana and on the last visit the service wasn't good. Positives are the price, nostalgic atmosphere, cheap beer, and Tuesday night 4 people could eat for $20. If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Next time you are around the obt area or you want some where to sit after braving the hellish Florida Mall check this place out.

I've been visiting this Orlando institution since I took a job in an office nearby in 1983. Rossis had already been there for a long, long time. In fact, today its run by the second generation! The reasons we locals keep coming back? Its not very pretty on the outside, just a plain but clean concrete building painted a particularly unattractive shade of aqua, with a large, well lit, paved parking lot. But once you go inside this laid back institution, you'll find comfortable surroundings. Good, reasonably priced food, served by friendly, attentive bartenders and waiters. In addition to great pizza and other Italian type foods like spaghetti and meatballs, they have excellent subs, hamburgers, and wings. Even salads, if you must. Perhaps because they are located blocks away from the major Central Florida liquor distributors, Rossis has an extremely well stocked bar, as well as lots of imported and craft beers, many on tap. Sports are always on multiple TVs (including one giant screen), video games and pinball are available for those who are into that. If you are new in town, or if you're visiting and are staying in the International Drive area, you should stop in for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. When you go, be sure to check out the daily food and drink specials; rossispizza.com Wednesday is Wings Day, for example. examiner.com/x-8396-Orla…

Well, this was the first restaurant at which I ate upon moving to Orlando in 1977, and I still try to eat there every couple of weeks. I have always gotten the 12 inch double decker combo, which is consistently great. I have always felt quite at home here, although nowadays I get my pizza to take-out. I highly recommend giving them a try. I really love this place. Back in the 80s a musician named Tom Terling played Tuesday nights and I never missed it. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando.

Ignore the fact that this is located in a scuzzy part of OBT and also ignore the fact that the building is painted a bilious green. Bar none- Rossi's has the best thin crust pizza. The BEST. They also do a mean garlic breadstick- soft inside with a satisfying crunchy outer layer and a wonderful buttery taste. Pastas and salads are good too. Years ago I used to frequent the DeLand location before it closed. Oh it was a happy day when we moved to Orlando and I could once again have my Rossi's fix. For those of you who may be visiting our fair city from out of town, this destination is just a short jaunt from I-Drive. Rossi's has been around for years so make sure to ignore the surrounding area and give this place a try.

  • Rose T.

The food at Rossi's is good. Its a quick fix for itialian, but not really authentic, or at least it doesn't taste it to me. The ambiance is kinda sticky, it's an old place, the furnishing is outdated, and Its kinda dark. It has a bar feel but I wouldn't really call it a bar. I couldn't see myself having a drink there. The food comes out quick and the staff is friendly. I haven't gotten a chance to try their wings, I've heard they are great. They have great daily specials, and their lunch prices are very reasonable. It's a good eat, and I would go back if someone invited me.

Rossi's, at first sight is kind of gaudy and old on the outside and the interior takes one back to some of the places that my parents brought us to in the Northeast which were either very Italian or Polish. My first time there was probably in the late '70s and I really didn't like the thin crust pizza as I grew up on thicker chewy pizza but as the years went by I came to really like Rossi's crust. One of my favorites was the chicken BBQ one whch I don't think is on the menu anymore and when it's girls night out--the veggie. I've never been disappointed with other dishes there either. Their Italian sub reminds me of your typical oven grinder/hoagie that I fondly remember. The cheesesteak is respectable and pretty packed with meat and toppings. I have never had the Buffalo wings because I once tried the Tangy Gold ones (which are so good) I don't want to be disappointed if they aren't as good as the "golds". Service is usually very good and I like a place that doesn't nickel and dime you to death on extras (I've never been charged to date). Tuesday nights has the Celebration menu with cheaper prices from the past (although I think the portions might be a tad less that regular menu sizes) but it's a great deal on certain items on the menu. They have other nights with specials like kids eat free and a wing night. Also you can get a full or half carafe of house wine at a great price. All in all I hope that Rossi's never goes away. I really like that joint!!

Rossi's is an Orlando classic and has been around for 30+ years. It's a casual place that reminds me of a place up north...very good. Fun, local people. Servers are "down home" and very nice. Great beer list if you like beer. We had the chicken wings which were great. (Non battered and that is my favorite). Also we had the thin pizza which is hard to find around Orlando. Excellent. We've had several varieties and they were all good. Give Rossi's a chance if you haven't been. You'll like it.

Horrible horrible food. Not sure why the ratings are so high...must be the beer. You know when your drunk everything tastes good i gueas!! I ordered the eggplant it was covered in cheese the eggplant was soggy and tasteless. The servers we're great took it back I ordered a burger ..not good. I have worked in food service for yearsas a supervisor in the front of the house, I've also worked in the back of the house, this was the worse food I have ever eat Just not good food sorry...just the thought of the name makes me sick! Chef Ramsey mat need to pay you guys a visit!

  • Myron H.

I have been a customer for over 40 years. The thin pizza keeps me coming back....and they have a pretty good Greek salad.....improved beer selection over the years is nice.....but oh my, it could use a little face lift starting with the restrooms. It feels a little dirty and I simply don't enjoy it as much any more. But with some thoughtful investment this could be a cool dive for years to come. Location is in a rougher part of town....don't leave anything visible in your car.

Four stars for pizza, beer, price and - yeah - atmosphere. Rossi's is a family owned Italian joint that has been in the same location on south OBT since Hector was a pup. I call it a 'joint' because it's a 'joint.' It is the Italian restaurant equivalent of Wally's. Nothing fancy about it. Multiple rooms, bar that extends into two rooms. Neon beer signs everywhere. TV's around the place. A moose head. Regulars at the bar. The softball team, the girls night out group, the bunch of guys from work at the tables. The have a very big beer list both draft and bottle. Prices are very reasonable. You really can't beat them. They have an awesome personal pizza lunch deal. The menu has the usual pastas but I've never had them. The menu has sandwiches that sound good but I've never had them. Pizza is the prize. They have all kinds of pizzas with all kinds of topings. Good cheese. The thin crust is the bomb. It's a crisp, sort of cracker like crust. It's rare in the pizza world, and it's good.

As the years have gone on n on its gotten drabber and more drabber- it's a lil squeamish to eat in there now days. Calzone crust has no life and is dreadfully flat and tough like leather. Stromboli is a tad better but, not by much. Most of the servers could use a fresh change of clothes and a quick clean up; personal hygiene is not first rate. I'd hate to be the person describing the junk found under their fingernails. If I were a school I'd have a private conversation with the mgmt. and say please...."don't advertise us on your walls- we can remain friends and silent supports but, please no more artwork and thanks you will be coming from our students, you're sanitation is way below a tolerable standard."
