Rita's. Is. Awesome. It's a shame that the location is yet still undeveloped. Only surrounded by a Wal-Mart and KFC, this area doesn't see as much traffic as it should. Rita's is probably ten times better than any Jeremiah's I've been to (And to think, I was a fan of Jeremiah's). Every time I go in, I feel like it's summer and the butterflies swarm around me (WHAT?). No really, it's great. The employees are always warm and welcoming, handing out as many samples as you want. The selection of ice is always vast - and they're constantly changing it up so you can always try something new - even if you go almost every day of the week - which my girlfriend and I used to do! They also have a great variety of treats - ranging from your normal gelato, to Misto Shakes (Mango Misto was always my go-to-awesomeness) to Blendini's (A Mix of Ice, Custard, and topping of your choice). Rita's tastes so much better than Jeremiah's - and is so affordable. I always leave there with a big smile on my face - like a child who just got a lollipop :) My only regret is moving further away from them and not being able to visit as often as I used to.

Thankfully we have a Rita's close by because I can't get enough of their Passion Fruit Ice's. Like most other location, they offer different flavors everyday and I've never encountered a problem. Make sure to ask for a taste if you're not sure whether or not you will like something in particular. This Rita's is located next to GameStop on Goldenrod in the Super Walmart plaza.

I've always loved Rita's and this location is no exception. The store seems to get a steady flow of business without ever being too busy. It seems like the universe times everyone just right so that the store associate is just about done with the previous person so that they can help you within a minute or so. I had the Mango flacor because I can never really wrap my head around the concept of a gelati. My boyfriend had the blizzard looking thing which is really a glorified gelati with a topping mixed inside. For some reason after he had it he got really sick, hence the only reason I gave this place 4/5 stars. I loved my Italian ice and this place is perfect for a hot day. I imagine when he summer come this place will be packed

Rita's offers a variety of Italian ice flavors, including some sugar free options. You can sample as many flavors as you'd like before making a final decision. I always go for a gelati, which is an ice with custard on top and bottom. I usually opt for the vanilla custard, but the chocolate and chocloate/vanilla swirl are good as well. They also have sundaes, shakes, Blendini's, which is a mix of Italian ice, custard, and your choice of a mix in, and more. Download their free mobile app and punch the virtual reward card on each visit to get your eighth treat (a regular Italian ice) free! Rita's is even available for your next event or as a "cool" fundraiser. This location is in a small plaza. There seems to be a steady flow of visitors, at least the times I've gone, but never busy and plenty of seats.

This location is super close to the airport which makes for a good treat when you want to kill a bit of time or seriously don't want to go to your flight. The area is super weird - half developed. But this place is good. Outside was realy dirty - there was trash everywhere - but that's part the strip it's in too. We ate outside because it was my last day in Florida before I returned to frigid Pennsylvania. The interior was nice and clean though. The ice is delicious and they change flavors daily. The awesome thing here was a "blendini" which is the ice and custard and a mix in (eg. a candy) all blended together. My husband's was delicious. I would go back, but then again, this wasn't my favorite in Orlando. It's fairly sweet and I couldn't even finish a small, and in comparison's to Jeremiah's, I don't like it as much. Also, I actually live around a bunch of Rita's and apparently this whole "gelati" thing hails from Philadelphia. Explains a lot about central PA now. So apparently I live in the state this comes from and it took me a trip to Florida to find out what this is all about. Anyhow, I guess this place was definitely good enough to make me drive the 5 minutes to the locations right next to where I live in PA.

Move over Jeremiah's there's a new gelato place in town! Rita's has been quietly popping up in Orlando and after a 3rd visit to this particular location it finally occurred to me that I hadn't reviewed it yet! Tucked in the Walmart shopping plaza, this particular location is constantly offering free large samples of ice custard and the staff is always eager to share the flavor of the day (on this particular visit, they went into the Gamestop next door handing out samples). I've tried a few flavors but two of my favorites are Cookies n' Cream and the Banana Split, made with real pieces of cherry and mini chocolate kisses. My boyfriend loves the mango flavor and it tastes clean and authentic without the weird sugary, goopy aftertastes of other flavor syrups. At $4 for 2 regular sized ices, I think it's a great inexpensive sweet snack! Definitely worth a visit and don't feel shy about trying all the flavors to help you decide, the staff always seems happy to make suggestions and let you try them all! I think Rita's has officially won me over Jeremiah's!
