Great family run pizza joint near the SE side of town. Margarita pizza was great, greek salad was huge. Staff treats you like you've been there a million times. Open later for pick-up - which seemed to be the most popular option. Small dining area, not good for screaming babies or large groups. Extra parking in the back, which may be your only option if there are drag races in town.

I use to order from Proccolinos once every week or two... But last three orders have all been sub par. Overall good place... Just hope this lapse is just a quirk and not a sign the level of quality has declined. This is always delivery, so I can not speak to the dine in experience. BTW the Tortellini Sinatra is still amazing

Happened to run across this place while I was staying near the airport, SO YUMMY! I'd drive a good half hour out of the way to get a gyro calzone or penne vodka :)

My aunt and uncle took me here, and I am in love with this place. Their Hawaiian pizza and chicken grill sub are amazing!!! The place is clean and the staff was very professional and hospitable. Strongly recommend it!

Absolutely the best Brooklyn style pizza in Orlando. Doesn't look so inviting from the outside but the pizza and other Italian dishes are outstanding.

  • William E.

Best NY style pie around with super fast delivery. They made a mistake on our last order and sent us two pies instead of one. It's so good we happily paid for both. The garlic knots are also a must; fluffy pillows of buttery goodness!

We ordered again from Proccolinos because it was quite tasty the first time. I now need to update because the second time we ordered the pizza was gross! It was relatively cold when it arrived and looked like the driver sat on the pizza then drove around a corner too fast. All the cheese had oozed off to one side, but that's probably because it was super greasy! The crust was mushy from the grease! Eewww! We won't be ordering again from these guys when there are so many other pizza options!

One of the best pizza restaraunts I have been to. The salad that I started out with was super fresh and the dressing was superb. We ordered the pizza Siccilian style which the waitress mistakingly told us was thin crust and it ended up being a square EXTRA thick pizza. I will only complain because I devoured two pieces which I am sure was my weeks worth of carbs. The crust was somehow crispy and the toppings were really good. This place isn't in the nicest neighborhood and looks a little shady from the outside but get past this and you will be glad you tried this place out. I would definitely go back next time I am in Orlando....I would just order the thin crust. Prices were great and food was awesome what more could you want.

Terrible margarita pizza! How can an authentic Italian place mess up italys most popular pizza? I ordered a thin crust. The pizza was overly priced at $19 for a medium size with the $3 delivery charge included. The pizza was not thin crust, no buffalo mozzerrilla or even fresh mozz but was the plain and old shredded mozz. No fresh basil and get this, canned crushed tomatoes. It tasted awefull and i thought i was going to throw up. These people do not know how to make a pizza. Never again.

Eddie and his crew do a great job turning out amazing food from a small location. Service is always nice and prompt. Prices are great and the portions are huge. Medium Meat Stromboli will feed me 2 meals. Eddie is usually there most nights and is always one to talk about everything. He has a great passion for food and great customer service. He will go out of his way to make somebody happy and to see that they get what they want. I drive 30 minutes to get there and I pass hundreds of other pizza places but it's totally worth it.

One night had the stomach cravings/munchies one night this week and so I had ordered this place. got it to go and for delivery. OMG where do I start took almost 2 hours to get here, he quoted me 45 minutes to an hour. I ordered cheese and mushrooms, basic, I had to pull the magnifying glass out to see the mushrooms, honestly there was very little on it, not what is typically normal. I am so glad I didn't do the wings there like I wanted to. It was worm when I got it but it was soggy at hell, I could not hold the peace of pizza it was just mushing all up. So I put it in a little toaster oven I have and it heated it up but didn't get crispy, I am like what? So the next day I finished the last 3 peaces and so I put it back in my little oven and it still never got a crispy crust. Sorry NEVER again to this place, my experience sucked and really will not recommend this place.

Moving from Kenosha, WI to Orlando, FL my aunt told me that we would never find good pizza here. Our former town being full of Italians and their great pizza places, finding Proccolino's was a real treat. While I wouldn't choose it over my favorite pizza place back home, this has definitely been one of my favorites in Orlando. When you order, ask what their specials are for the day. They usually have some good ones going on that allow me to get extra cheese, which they do so well.

I eat at the one in altamonte springs... They have the best food in town! Love the garlic knots made to order! Yumm! Gen

Found this near the airport. Not in a great area, but the huge salad was spot on, along with the pizza. Very good. I'll go back!

Never thought I'd find good Italian in Orlando like this (being from NJ). I stand corrected. THIS is TOP NOTCH, delicious food. Going back for more. We had traditional Italian dishes....very good. Want to they some of their premier pizza's. Liposuction, here I come.

This place looks like a hole in the wall - but don't let it stop you. Pizza Bianca, garlic knots are delicious. They make their own salad dressing as well. Best pizza joint in Orlando!!!!

Being second generation italian, and raised by a strict Italian family, I eat well, and I know Italian food. Eating when I am travelling in the United States usually leaves me unfulfilled, because of all the fast food style restaurants. At Proccolino's I found my place to eat! This place has excellent food! The best place I have had Italian food in Orlando. Tastes like home cooked authentic flavor, I can usually tell when a chef has prdie in his food, because they use good ingredients, and fresh food. Working with better material gets you better results! The staff was very friendly, and the owner Eddie offered to cook me whatever I wanted. I opted for the Veal Piccata, which was an amazing dish. I look forward to eating there again next time I am in Orlando. Finding this gem definetely was one of the highlights of my trip!

Perfect pizza. I recommend olives, and use some seasoning too! They even do delivery!

Proccolinos is the best pizza in Orlando! The food was delivered on time to the hotel! The ham and pineapple, pepperoni, and chicken pizzas were hot and NY style pizza. I'm from VA, this was the best pizza I've had since I lived in NJ 20 years ago near Vito's pizzaria. The owner was friendly and offered many great deals. Great price for great food. Enjoy! No more pizza left.

Classic pepperoni pizza taste quick, simple, and for the right price. $16 for Jumbo and 2 liter!? Forgetaboutit!

The food has always been good, always. The service on he other hand has always always been bad. The waiters always leave you hanging, the owner is rude and, sad to say, ghetto in front of customers. Again, the food is spot on but the service is horrible. I have been coming here for years and it never changes. We are here today, the first time in a couple months and they have renovated. They have expanded into the unit next door. Good renovation, bigger space, better decor. Still a ways to go before it is finished but good. Wish the service was better, unfortunately I doubt I will return. I think today was it.

when I'm carving for pizza this is my go to place. The wings are also really delicious. I only like to take out instead of dinning in because its not comfy inside and not the best location. Regardless of that, their pizza and wings are the bomb.

This place dares to compare New York pizza with their own. There for I decided to try it for myself,Sad to say the pizza did not measure up. This pizza is actually the worst pizza I've ever had. This place is not generous with their toppings ,and what they have named the sizes are deceiving .i ordered a jumbo size pie and was told it will have 12 slices. To my surprise what I had received was in fact a regular large pie cut into 12 thin slices. I just had to laugh because this place is a joke. I definitely would not recommend this place to any one ,and I will never be ordering from here again .

We are visiting from Hawaii and staying at the Embassy Suites. Proccolinos had an advertisement there, so we decided to try it. Loved the atmosphere, and the food was delicious! Took some time, but worth the wait for fresh homemade Italian food!

Never again. We decided to stop and eat in with our kids. Some other patrons came in, obviously wasted from the bar next door. One lady was barefoot, seriously barefoot, with dirty feet propped on the table next to us.... no one in the restaurant said a word to them, as if this were acceptable in any establishment. Our food was acceptable but the atmosphere was, in one word, Gross. Never again.

Don't pass by this little pizza parlor especially if you're a New Jersey native! We all know good pizza is hard to find once you leave the NY/NJ area, so this little place (about 8 tables) is a hidden gem in Orlando! Definitely have the garlic "knots" with cheese. The homemade meatballs were also delicious (the owner's grandmother's recipe)! The cheese pizza was a giant triangle slice that rivaled our local haunt in NJ. Also try the Greek pizza... Think gyro as a pizza! Our server was super friendly and attentive. We would definitely stop back when we're in the area!

We constantly get guys delivering menus for this place to our office building. Every guy happens to be the manager or owner. They are always different people. I read the menu. I was turned off by the nitpicking on the menu. -Due to higher fuel costs we now charge more. -If you're over 4 miles add $2 -NO free refills on lunch drinks -ONE free refill on fountain drinks (really? everybody knows a fountain soda cost you about 10 cents) -Additional 25 cents charge for a to go cup. WOW. -Split plate charge (ok most places do this) -50 cent surcharge on all debit/credit orders. HOLY COW. -When dining in all free drinks DO NOT include free refills I refused to go here forever because those little things turned me off. How can you complain when I'm buying pasta that cost you 25 cents and you're charging me $14 about a damn free refill on a soda that cost you pennies? So I finally tried it. Ordered my food (weekday lunch break) ran errands and was late picking up my food. Nobody in the restaurant and I still had to wait 20 minutes for food I ordered an hour before. Not to mention the plaza it's in is scary. Near the neighborhood watering hole w/ bars on the window. Yikes.

Pizza took a very long time to arrive to the table. Ordered a pizza with extra cheese and it came looking regular. The waitress never, even once, came to refill my drink. I mean, c'mon, ask me at least once if I need a refill. I never had this happen to me. We even had to ask a different waitress to get me a refill. Pizza was average. They claim to use Grande cheese but who knows. The crust had no taste. Sauce was average. Overall, meh!

I live in the area for Proccolino's and have been there many times, always delicious. This time I was stuck at home recovering from major surgery with instructions not to drive and having to use a walker at home. I decided their shrimp scampi was my ticket to the feel betters and ordered it to be delivered. What a total waste of money. This dinner was a left over from days before, had no sauce, the shrimp exuded some kind of white liquid and the salad was meager. Ordered it on Sunday nite, returned it on Tuesday morning and the waitress who later admitted she was Evelyn the owner refused any kind of credit for the meal, saying I did not return it within 24 hours so tough luck! I said to her tough luck for you, I won't be back. Ever!!

We are staying in a near by hotel and got the phone from the front desk of this place as my son asked for the Pizza for our 9pm late dinner. We called for delivery and the food showed up 25 minutes later and every thing was still warm. I didn't expect much and thought this is just a random pizza place serving the tourists. They have great food. The Pepperoni Pizza was tasty and hot. The spaghetti with marinara sauce was excellent. The spaghetti was cooked just right and sauce was fresh with right amount of salt. The chicken tenders surprised me with the dark color. But it was soft and full of flavor. It has some kind of similarity to Chicken Satay in Asian restaurants. I never heard of the Zeppoles (a deep fried dough dessert) before but ordered since they are out of the chocolate cake. It came in 4 big pieces with chocolate stripes on the top. I liked it as It was overly sugary yet delicious and enough pieces for the whole family. They charge $2 for the delivery. Will order again if I am back to this area.

I would have to disagree with the description of this place as being "divey." While the surrounding plaza isn't the cutest, the interior of this restaurant is well-kept. I haven't tried anything other than the pizza and the wings. The pizza was some of the best I've had but the wings were nothing to brag about. I will definitely come back for the pizza however!

Orlando is NOT a foodie town. When the Orlando Sentinel voters rate Pizza Hut for best pizza year after year and Red Lobster as best seafood restaurant, something is very, very wrong. Proccolino's in southeast Orlando stands out as the real thing. Eddie, the owner being from Jersey City NJ, knows pizza and proves it with his product. Real pizza is a fantasy in the forever franchised world known as Orlando, but you must go out of your way to find the good stuff, and I have been "to the mountaintop" and found orgasmic pizza in Orlando...not an easy thing to do. I'm very excited! Goldenrod Road, just north of Hoffner.

Disappointed, thought there were enough positive reviews on Yelp to cover out visit. I have to say this is the worse pizza I have had. The waitress was friendly and patient, the location is not great bars on the windows. We went with the special 18 inch with pepperoni and meatballs. We were really hungry and we looked forward to the pizza. when it came to the table their was this burnt dark flakes of meat on it. i expected meatballls of some type, but looked awful, and tasted burnt whatever it was made of.. The pepperoni and the dough had no taste. the dough really reminded me of chief boyrde dough. The sauce was like it came out of a can. i could barely taste the cheese. i am really surprised how bad this pizza is. We should have gone to Giovanni's, or the Bronx down the street. i didn't expect to find so much wrong with the pizza until I wrote this, but I can see now it was a total failure to me. For what's it's worth there were take out orders leaving while we were there. So some appear to like this place. In the event that I totally wrong i gave them 2 stars and not one. Oh hell I can't do it, have to give them 1 star. P.S read the filtered reviews, a lot of fake five star, reviews. stupid me didn't look at those before going. Who knows how many of these reviews are fake? Now I am worried we are going to get sick.

I absolutely love Proccolino's - it has been my go-to pizza place since I moved to the Lake Nona area 3 years ago. That being said, my last two visits have been disappointing. The first, they forgot the toppings on my pizza... Not good, but it happens. But last week was nearly inexcusable. I called in my order (a small pizza and garlic knots) around 5:30 and was told it would be 20 minutes. When I arrived at 5:45 they were clearly backed up on take-out. I sat and waited 45 minutes after arriving before my order was ready. I was asked no less than 4 times what I was waiting for. As if that isn't bad enough, while I was waiting a woman came in, ordered a large extravaganza pizza, and was gone with her food in 15 minutes. It was another 10 minutes before my small pizza was ready. It will certainly be a while before I return.

The newest location of this restaurant is off Wymore close to 436 .I just discovered this place through a friend who is a regular. All I can say is that I will be returning again and again. Great pizza, fantastic wings and a huge menu for both lunch and dinner. You can get two huge slices of pizza and a drink for lunch for $4.99. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is very visible and makes you feel welcome. The Wymore location restaurant is very clean and not at all dive-y .The dining room is small but they have a very large outdoor patio. It is a very welcoming atmosphere. The location on Goldenrod is dark and dingy and not at all inviting. The food was good but the atmosphere, compared to the other location, is a big turn-off. Service was indifferent . I will not go back to the Proccolino's on Goldenrod

Used to go on a regular basis until....one night I ordered my pizza as usual, the waitress (who was not paying attention) got my order wrong. The owner refused to remake the pizza, and honestly wound up coming to our table and showing his a***. so bad that I called the police ( wife was in tears ) I only hope he gets help with his anger management.

I liked the onion and pepperoni pizza and the cheesy garlic knots. meatball was bland, service was decent, decor interesting. some people say this is the best pizza in town, do you agree?

Total hole in the wall, but fantastic pizza! Never had a bad one from here. Really wish they had one near where I live, but then again, it's probably a good thing they aren't! This is another place my old office used to place huge orders for pizza with them from time to time. They never had any problems with the orders and always made sure we had what we needed an more. I highly recommend them!

We ordered from the Ramada, and not only did they deliver to the hotel, but to your specific room! Talk about service! Understandably, considering the large amount of hotels, their delivery times are probably longer than you may be used to at home; however the delivery window quoted was accurate. The pizza was very good, and the garlic knots appetizer was even better. Check with your hotel lobby before you order, they may have coupons.

Best pizza around! I'm a sucker for fresh ingredients, and nobody seems to live by that code anymore, but boy oh boy can you taste the difference here! The margarita pizza was like the Ferrari of all pizzas! The Sinatra Pasta with chicken my wife had was delicious aswell! Cozy and quiet with just the right touch of that family style Italian hospitality. The staff is friendly and make sure you try the garlic bread they bake fresh daily! I'll definitely be back soon!

Actually. ...surprisingly good. Had dinner delivered to the hotel. It's what I ordered. It was hot. It was good....all the right things!. The only downside is the lettuce was a little wilted but in this humidity....so am I!! Don't be afraid to give em a try if you're on business and don't want to fight the local crowds.

Probably the best pizza I could find close to Lake Nona and they deliver. I'm from NY so my standards are pretty high. They have there off days but generally are good. Be sure to try the garlic knots as they are good too.

Terrible pizza. Seemed like they use very low quality ingredients. The worst part is that the restaurant is in such bad condition that all you can smell is mildew and must. Appears that they have water issues. I'm not sure how this place is passing inspections. Extremely disappointed.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
