I really like this relatively new Pita Pit. It is located in the Dunkin Donuts / Wendy's plaza. I used to go to the other one by University, but this one has a lot less smoke and just feels cleaner. This is a great healthy lunch option. You can get a wheat pita instead of flower. I usually get a chicken, all the way (peppers, onions, shrooms on the grill), with some green stuff in the "veggie" area, spinach, jalapeno and buffalo sauce on a wheat pita. I think its under 400 calories and fills me up! The combo comes with a drink and chips for under $10. Definitely a place to come if you are trying to shed a few! #Yelp100

We ate at this location for the first time and probably last too. The food was good enough but the place was dirty. My arm stuck to the table.

Whether its late at night, or you just need a good, quick lunch, Pita Pit is an excellent option. My favorite pita is the Joker. Chicken Soulvaki, Gyro Meat, and Feta make for a serious flavor combo. Not really a whole lot to be said about this place. They are consistent and make a great quick lunch. It gets three stars because while good for a quick lunch, I wouldn't recommend taking an important date there or anything.

COLD. NOT COOKED. STALE PITAS. My Co-workers raved about this chain for quite sometime, and I'll admit it peaked this self -described foodie's curiosity. I had high hopes for a meal here, I even cruised the menu online and was delighted at the menu item descriptions. The co-workers and I opted to order our pita sandwiches online because we were in a hurry and wanted to walk right in and eat- we thought we were being smart and bypassing the lunch crowd....eh, not so much. We arrived to confusion. The young college guys behind the counter are scrambling, telling us the orders we places 30 min ago were all not completed because they were way behind. Fine. No big deal, so I thought, but this definitely defeated the purpose of the online order experience, right? I decide to plop myself down at a table to patiently await my prized pita. The first sandwich comes out..... my co-worker proceeds to grabs his Philly Cheesesteak. His sandwich, we would later find out, was actually the only sandwich out of the 6 ordered that would end up being made correctly. Next up, my buffalo chicken sandwich/pita. I quickly realize they fudged up my order. NO DRINK, No sauce on the side AS SPECIFIED. CUE my fat girl attitude. Fine...I think, I can deal. I proceed to sit and unwrap my sandwich....hmmm... Why is my sandwich cold? No melted cheese? All uncooked onion + peppers and cold buffalo sauce? WONDERFUL. Two more sandwiched come out...two more disappointed co-workeers. They're pitas were cold one even had a stale hard pita that crumbled as he tried to eat. Last Pita comes out, we take to go for another co-worker. We get back to the office, she unwraps it, and SURPRISE...another rock hard pita. This has to be a joke right? People like this food? The co-workers swear this is an anomaly, that the other locations are spot on- but, after this experience... I am pretty sure I'll never eat at another Pita Pit EVER. BLECK.

Well, for just making pitas, this place does a great job. Im giving it high marks relative to understanding this is not a fancy restaurant. But they make good pitas. And the service has been excellent in the 2 locations ive been to.

I LOVE THIS PLACE I only wish I would have come here on the first day of my vacation instead of the last. Besides that , the staff was very friendly , the place is cute and clean and the pita was out of this world. My bf got a buffalo chicken which to my surprise was pretty spicy & my chicken souvlaki with feta cheese veggies and jalepeño ranch was to DIE for! I love the concept behind this place and the fact that everything was super fresh BRING PITA PIT TO MIAMI!

Definitely a place to try at least once. Stick to the most popular pita, the "old" souvlaki chicken, don't forget the tzatziki sauce. The only reason it's got 4 stars in my opinion is the young staff can sometimes have an attitude. And I've been there twice in a year and a half stretch, both times the soda machine was broken. But that doesn't mean the food isn't outstanding!

Overall: Not the best falafel. I stopped here for lunch and ordered the falafel pita. I love falafels and have ordered them at other Pita Pit locations without complaint, but this location didn't do it for me. The falafel tasted old and not fresh. Next time I will try something else.

Friendly staff and very helpful. It was my first time in there and they must have noticed because they came over to me and gave me the low down on how the process works. Lots of choices to choose from! All fresh, and they grill the meat of your choice in front of you. Decent prices and the portion size is huge. Very tasty!!

The people are usually friendly, the service is prompt, and the food is consistently tasty. More restaurants in the area need to take a cue from Pita Pit by staying open til 3am AND deliverying. Their late night delivery is a major plus for me. You can order online on their website but I do recommend you call if it is really late to make sure they got your order (or just call to place the order instead of doing it online). Once I ordered online and my food was never delivered. When I called in the morning, they said they had closed early that night (I think it was due to inclement weather).
