Very nice staff and a pretty good draft beer selection. Menu is mostly bar good but I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and was very impressed. Incredible specials on Thursday, cheap beer and food all night. Happy Hour is from 4-7 every day and all night Thursday. I will be back for sure.

GO TO THE ALE HOUSE. I have not been here for a very long time and I decided to try them out again for a quick dinner. The place is known for their Burgers I think at least from the last time I have ordered food from them many years back. Came in and ordered the Meatloaf dinner. It came with choice of sides and I ordered the fries and side salad. Side salad came in with tomatoes, lettuce, croutons, cheddar cheese and thousand island dressing. It was served larger than the ale house IMO. However the meatloaf looked PITIFUL. It was served with ok portion of fries. The meatloaf looked dry and very dark..did not look fresh at all and they served the meatloaf with the gravy on the side. I got 2 sliced ok portions of the meatloaf. The taste of the gravy and meatloaf was actually seasoned well.. The quality and portion was lacking. The server I had did not refill my drink until asked and also i had to ask more of the gravy and salad dressing. I am better off eating at the Ale House for portions and price. Good thing is TWISTEE TREAT is across a few feet and since I was NOT full from my meal I went ahead and got me a TWISTEE cone afterwards!

Food was decent ... Service was slow and it was heavily understaffed . Waitresses were bad mouthing customers in front of us but its not the worst bar in town.

Really good karaoke night. I really enjoyed myself here. Didn't have any food but I will definitely be back!

I went here on a Saturday night just for the karaoke, which was pretty awesome. The bartenders were friendly and smiling. They even had me a fresh beer poured before I was done my current one! I didn't get any food but the wings smelled pretty delicious. The auroa was pretty positive and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I would definitely go back. Oh and if you're a smoker - they do sell cigarettes at the bar. At the time of this writing, $6.50 a pack. But they only have Marlboros.

Quite the locals place. If you have lived in the area for a long time you will probably run into several people you know. The bar actually looks nicer inside than I thought it would. Large bar in the center of the room with several tables around it. They also have a nice area to play darts with several boards. Their beer selection isn't very good. I tried their Red Ale and wasn't a fan at all. Luckily it was cheap..like really really cheap $1.00 or $1.50. Good thing seeing I only had half of the beer. Bartenders were friendly enough, but since we weren't really part of the local scene, we didn't get the friendly chit chat. They also serve food, but we didn't get around to trying any.

We stopped in today for lunch. We ordered Teriaki wings, hot wings, onion rings and Magic Hat ales on draft. They now bake, then fry the wings. Whatever, they were tasty and full sized. The rings were't greasy. It looked like the same bunch of regulars, but we were treated well. I still recommend Pipers if you're in the neighborhood. Its a bit like Oblivion, but for a slightly older crowd; Sports on TV instead of loud music, and not a hipster in sight. But many, many different beers as well as a full bar. It appears to still be friendly to everyone.

This place is located in a strip mall type place that I'd driven by a few times and today we decided to give it a try. I had the buffalo sandwich and fries and I thought it was pretty tasty. This definitely is a bar & grill with the emphasis on bar, but the food was pretty good and the place was clean. Our server was very attentive with drink refills and our food came out quick and hot.

I don't spend all that much time in bars, but I do enjoy Piper's from time to time. It is by far the best bar in the Conway. The bartenders have been quite pleasant each time I've been there. Drink prices are reasonable and the have OBP! Karaoke night can be a bit rambunctious, but I guess that is pretty standard. If you are looking for a lowkey place to grab a beer and hang out with friends, give Piper's a try. BTW.. They serve food, so there is no smoking inside!

Nice little bar. It has that small town feel because youll start seeing the same regular alcoholics then realize your one of them because your writing a review about it. Then realize that I should have paid more attention to English class to not write run on sentences. Then realize that you shouldn't write reviews a bit lit. Just saying. But really its a great place to watch sports and good food.

Wings are decent but I would definitely get them to go. It's not worth the time sitting up in here. It's definitely a bar scene and everyone looks old and drunk all the time. Ordered wings all grilled but only half of them came out grilled. Booo...I mean the grilled wings were very good. The regular ones were pretty greasy. Sauces were MEH... After sitting in here for about 10 minutes, a creepy older women came in and asked us if anyone was sitting at an empty chair at our table. We said she could have the seat but we didn't expect her to sit down next to us at our table when there were an abundant amount of tables available throughout. The wings did seem to take a while to get out BUT that could have been the creepy lady at our table making time seem to stand still. The inside is very very dark and the tv / projectors are old. It's really quite a downer. I think getting Wings to go from here is the only way to go.

This is a great neighborhood bar and grill. The food is very good and the beer prices are very reasonable($6 pitchers/ $2 singles!). They also have full liquor service. The staff is friendly and attentive. The owner is Scottish and known to frequent quite often(he's the friendly guy who talks funny). The have lots of dart boards which make it an excellent place to go for darts. They have several dart leagues playing here every week. Smoking is outside so you can enjoy your food/drink inside without smelling like an ashtray. Food Recommendations- 1. Burgers - they are juicy, topped well with a quality bun. You know its good when you use extra napkins to eat a burger 2. Pizza- Yes Pizza. Thin crust, crispy with lots of toppings and quality cheese. Surprisingly good for a bar/grill. 3. Shepherds Pie - They do this one justice. 4. Wings- not overly breaded with lots of sauce. If you are really hungry order a Chuck Wagon. Chopped steak(large piece) grilled, slathered in mushrooms, onions and gravy. Comes with sides and hits the spot! They serve food until 1 am and drinks till 2. They have lots of TVs so it's a great place to watch a game as well. Cheers.

Stopped in here last night to watch the Florida State-Boston College football game. Being a Friday night, it was busy. Service, however, is always fast and friendly. A bartender or waitress is there to take your order and get your drink to you promptly. Not in the mood for wings, I ordered the chicken strips with honey mustard for a appetizer ($6.50) when the game started. Later on, I ordered the Mushroom-Onion-Swiss burger. Topped with lettuce and tomato, this burger requires a third hand to eat it. As well as a lot of napkins! And the bartender made sure that I had a roll of paper towels handy as well as any condiments for my meal. Cooked medium and covered with mushrooms and onions, this hamburger was delicious. All of the hamburger selections come with french fries and a pickle spear. The cost for my hamburger was $8.95. This is one of the better burgers I have had for a sports bar, and both the hamburger and french fries were served hot. I have been to other places, and usually the hamburger is served hot, but the french fries are luke warm. Not here. The same goes for the chicken strips. I had to wait for a few minutes to let the chicken strips cool down after coming right out of the fryer. Every time I have come here to eat, the food has always been served hot. And every time, the food is delicious. And Jayme was working last night. A really good bartender who can make a great Bloody Mary. Trust me on this one! There were also a few waitresses and a bartender whose names I did not get. But they all did a great job serving the crowd that was present. And being college football Saturday, I know they are busy today. And with the food and service Piper's has, this is a great place to go for the game. And you can stick around for karaoke afterwards!

One of the best bars around. The bartenders make this place. Ask for Mary!! She's awesome!! Was here on a Saturday night which is karaoke night. It was perfect and highly entertaining. Good times :) Drinks were very affordable and although we didn't eat, the wings smelled amazing! Maybe next time!

I ordered the Jerk wings.. waitress said they were "peppery hot".. The wings were dry in a oily red sauce. This was not jerk at all - it was cayenne and pepper. My friends had BBQ wings and they were dry as a bone as well. The beer was good and cold!

its a good place to hang out, chill and chat with friends and watch sports game, they have a big screen TV on the little stage, u can also play darts inside.. Every Saturday night is KARAOKE open mic night with live band.. affordable food and drinks....

I do not live in Orlando but I go there often for the great karaoke nights. I have been to a few other places in town but Piper's on Curry Ford is BY FAR the best I've been to. It was a lot of fun. The sound is great and the crowd is a great mix and just the right size. I didn't try the food but the beer was cold and the pitchers were only $6. I will be back as soon as possible.

I've been passing Piper's for a long time because it's right next to the Publix we go to. We had a bunch of errands to run and I wanted wings, but my husband didn't want to go all the way to Waterford Lakes, so based on the Yelp reviews, I suggested Piper's. Normally a Yelp review hasn't steered me wrong, but in this instance, I feel like I was led astray. We walked in, and there was no hostess, so we sat down. I was immediately hit with a strange smell. I'm not sure if it was a grease smell because what they make there is greasey (wings, fries) or what, but it wasn't a good smell. I guess the girl who was supposed to be the hostess as also the server, and she came over pretty quickly to take drink orders. We got a coke and a diet coke, and the mix was off. The coke was so sweet I couldn't drink it. I ordered garlic wings and a basket of fries, and my husband got the reuban. My wings were really greasey, so much so that I could only make it through four. The fries were good. My husband liked his reuban, but had to ask for silverware to eat his coleslaw with. I really like to support local restaurants, but in this case, I won't be going back. I wanted it to be good food, I really did, but maybe they were having an off day.

Dale nailed this one! The burgers are really good, and I love that they offer curly fries. I had the cheese burger, ordered it well done, and it came out perfect! There was the ever so slight char flavor on the outside, with the rich, juicy, beef in the center. (Sorry Veggies.. it was YUM on a bun!) The curly fries are a buck more or so, but you get a ton. Did I mention pickle? It's awesome. Firm and fresh, no dyes, no limpy wimpy pickle here. Good stuff.

This place has THE BEST wings in town! Get them grilled, it's great. And the beer is cold... What else do you need? There's always some interesting people there too.

  • Denis K.

Epic Fail. Service was poor, I had to wave down my server (there were only 7 other people in the building) to get silverware. And I've had infinitely better and less grease soaked wings at Gators and BWW. And yes, I'm perfectly aware I was at a bar. The prices were cheap so maybe I'll go back for a well reported burger.
