I've been to several Ale Houses and thru have been pretty consistent. I placed a up go order for wings. Extra crispy. Sauce on the acid and that's exactly what I got. Delicious. Hot. Juicy. Wings. Thank you! I typically don't eat all 10 on my own but I had to.

Always a solid and dependable choice. Nothing gourmet, but generally American comfort food done really well. You can't hate on the $5 late night happy hour appetizers, except that it doesn't include the chicken nachos anymore. Love me the quesadillas and fish dip. If its been a bad day and I just don't care, loaded fries FTW. If there's one thing I'll never understand about the place though, its why people thing the Zingers are the greatest thing ever in their mouth. They're good, but not amazing. I've learned the service can be somewhat hit or miss. Never awful, but I have experienced borderline bad where the wait staff obviously had higher priorities than their tables. 8

Excellent place near the Grand Cypress Wasn't sure what to make of the place on arrival. Was with some colleagues and the process of seating us appeared haphazard. The hostess and waitress were nice enough, but seemed confused. The setting reminds me of a Bennigan's. Waitress was cool once we settled in and made orders. Apart from some disjointed timing on delivery of food, things were enjoyable. My compatriots all said the food was tasty and I really liked the Ossobuco. Never even heard of that plate before. And yet, I ate almost every sliver of meat off that shank. Cost was a tad high for my estimation, but not horrendous. And with the dearth of good options around that corner of Disney World's perimeter, we were grateful that the Ale House did not disappoint.

This is one of the nicer Ale Houses I have been to and the staff is very friendly and fast. This is great place to come in and grab a quick lunch or to come in with friends after work for drink specials and to watch a game. The food is good and the daily specials are great. Be sure to become a raving fan and get a free flat bread!

Houstonian here, and must say this place was almost perfect. Good vibes, good atmosphere, our waitress was terrific. My uncle ordered the rib eye steak medium rare, and before we even could say that it was over cooked, she came to us and honestly told us that it was over cooked and immediately got us another one. Everything was spot on. I, myself ordered the ossobuco, and it was amazing. Only reason why I didn't put 5 stars was because my girlfriend got the Cajun pasta and the blackened chicken was over cooked and seasoned too much. Pasta was great though. And also the broccoli was kinda bland, not much flavor to it. But other than that, would definitely come back.

let's see. came for Thursday night NFL opener. 1) order was wrong for app 2) no sound on right side of restaurant. requested it be turned up, nada. 3) video screens all go black first quarter and are out for 20 minutes now (and counting) Wish I stayed at my hotel to watch the game.

I had to give it 3 stars unfortunately. The waitress we had was very nice and a very good server! As well, the steak my husband had was very good & my the nachos (after a second try) were great! I had to give it just 3 stars because my nachos came with a hair in it. They got me a new plate of nachos and our server was very apologetic... However, the manager didn't come over once or bring the new plate of nachos to us (I worked at a restaurant for 7+ years and know that a manager is supposed to bring something to the table that has had an issue). Also, the nachos took forever to come back out and my husband had already finished his meal. They didn't offer to comp our meal (I would never ask but I know that's what we would usually do at our restaurant - also I am not someone who is looking for a free meal). It was just an OK experience... The server however was very friendly and the food eventually was good.

We were meeting some friends for dinner and they suggested this place. We arrived before them and sat at a high top table. Waitress was right there ready to take our drink orders. Ordered some drinks then shortly after our friends arrived. Again, she was right there. Took their drink orders and asked of we were ready to order dinner. Told her not yet. Before she left she let us know that nights special. Came back a bit later and we were ready. My honey ordered the grilled Asian chicken and the rest of us ordered the prime rib special. One medium rare and two medium well. We waited and waited, luckily we had a lot of catching up to do. Finally, about 35 minutes later, some kitchen waiters brought out our meals. Chicken looked great, prime rib, all three were well done. When we said something to the guys, they just looked at us and said, really won't you eat them anyhow. We said no. Waitress came by and told us the manager was going to come talk to us in a few. He was recutting and firing us some new prime ribs. Manager brought out the properly cut/cooked orders and apologized. Saying he wasn't real sure what was going on in the kitchen, but he was going to make sure that this never happened to anyone again. He then comped all three prime rib specials. Unexpected, but very much appreciated. Each couple ordered a dessert to share. Will we go back? Yes, if we are ever in the area again. We didn't know this was a chain until after the fact. But if service and quality is monitored at other locations, as it was here, we may hit another one on our journeys.

This restaurant is huge! I think I saw the maximum capacity was 430 people. The outside bar area is nice as well. Great food and drink specials in an otherwise expensive area. Tuesday $5 Zingers are a huge draw and great value versus the regular price of $8.99. Huge menu with many other choices including 35 shrimp meals. The only gripe I have is the service has been spotty and inconsistent when I am here.

Good selection of beer! 4 star merely because of something that doesnt make sense... Ordered a pitcher of Shock top and was told that wasn't possible but a pint is. How does that work? If you have draft and you can get pitchers of other beers, seems like you could get pitchers of whatever draft you want. Zingers and Zinger Melt are the MUST eat while here.

Walked in for the first time and the place was busy with a normal crowd and good beer selection both indoor and out. We ordered the hot wings and spicy garlic buffalo shrimp as snacks. The food quality was average the beer temperature was a bit warm but all in all a good experience I would recommend this for an L house middle the road but nothing with a significant number of tap beers or rotating microbrews We were here from out of town for a conference all week and noticed that Service was good on a Sunday night and just okay on a Tuesday night.

A good place for a drink and basic American bar food. Since moving to Florida about four years ago, I've come this place randomly. Sometimes for work related events, other times with friends and every time I get about the same experience. Very similar to a college bar, the staff is young and for the most part do a pretty ok job getting everyone's order together. However, the one note I will say, they stand around and talk to each other in plain sight of all the patrons. BIG beer and liquor section! Which makes it good to watch a game there, as there are TVs at every angle you look. Food menu is standard American with relative consistency.

The only real way to describe this place is bar food poetry. I have eaten at a number of locations around Florida and only had one bad experience. That was at a newer location and I chalked it up to it newest. The food is great bar type food. They have daily specials with great prices and you cannot look up without seeing a tv. I live their zingers and loaded fries but they also make a good philly.

I guess this is the spot to be in orlando- I get it for the fact it has a good selection of food and great drink specials. Really great drink specials and deals but I would not recommend their margarita as it was watered down.

The perfect place after a long day at universal. They have a main bar and dining tables as well as an outdoor bar that is closed off. Did not expect it to be so lively on a Tuesday night. The drinks special from Sunday - Thursday was a steal our waiter was prompt. Didn't try any of the food here so my review is just on the bar and drinks. I will definitely come here next time we come to Orlando

Loved this place! It is hard to find good craft beers in Orlando, but this place had a great list. They had a whole book of drink specials and beer pairings on the table that I scrolled through while we were waiting for our food but unfortunately I was here for lunch and didn't want to have too many drinks that early in the day. The service was the best I have had in a while! We had a great server who was very personable and cracked a couple good jokes (which is always a plus in my book). He really took the time to treat us like humans rather than just slinging food and drinks at us as many other servers often do. The reason why I give this place four stars rather than 5 is because of the food. I ordered the "world famous" zingers and was very unimpressed. They were more like sub-par chicken fingers. They were covered in hot sauce so obviously I liked them anyway, but I would have loved if they were crispier. Either way, next time I'm in Orlando I'll be back!

  • Tim S.

Just finished eating here and it was well below what we expected...with all the choices in Orlando your game needs to be higher We were in right away and the server was on us like stink.....ready to order....what can I get you for apps.... We ordered drinks and my daughter asked for a ginger ale my Martini came quick and wife's beer was the same but missed the most important persons drink, even the flat bread came no drink Then the waiter said the kitchen is really busy and he was sorry but we were going to wait for our food (daughters Mac and Cheese and Spinach Dip) still no drink Had to ask hostess for drink the the waiter came with drink Food arrived, good taste and good portions for a basic restaurant, nothing at all special. Fajitas for 2 chicken and beef..how do you mess it up? Bring 4 tortilla for 3 people to eat then do not come back for 15 minutes to check....then take 10 minutes to bring more... Don't do it... There is so many other better places to eat

Love this place!! I consider Florida my second home and this is always the first stop for me to grab some dinner. With daily drink specials and great prices on food that simply can't be beat, it's a must do on my Florida dining itinerary. Almost always busy but that's for a good reason.

We have been to this location several times. The parking lot is terrible. We have a dually truck & people park in undesignated parking areas making it impossible to get to the back parking area from the front of the building. You have to go around the corner, down a few businesses and through kind of an ally way. We got there about 6:15 pm on Wednesday for the lobster special. They were out of lobsters already. Bummer. The place was packed. We ordered other food and it was great. The service was also great, however getting our food was really slow. 30 to 40 minutes. The store is always clean. If your not in a hurry and you have a normal small car to park then your ok. I would return however I will make it a point to get there around 4:00 to 4:30 pm.

I like Miller's Ale House, if we find one while traveling, we will normally go in, you can't beat $7.00 pitchers of Miller lite. I got the chicken philly, loaded, it was very good. The server was nice and attentive. For a Friday night in Orlando, it was a great find, we walked in around 8 and there was no wait.

It truly pains me to have to write this review, as this restaurant has been a frequent lunch or dinner or late night dining tradition for me, family and friends, but this must be done. Following a 6 day working trip, all I wanted was to come home to a good dinner with lots of American sports channels turned on and a loud, bustling crowd at The Ale House. In this regard, it's always a 5 star for me! Last Friday was no exception. Our server was about the MOST friendly we have ever seen at Ale House. Sweet, gracious, kind and made sure everything was perfect. And the meal was exceptional, perfectly cooked and tasty. There was no way I could possibly finish my rib eye steak, so our server brought a box to take it home. While I was loading up the container, a nasty roach ran across our table!!! EEEK! My hubby quickly resolved the nasty creature, smashing it with a napkin. Our sweet server had taken up our check while all this was going on and returned with change, which we told her was hers....about a 30% tip, but she was so sweet, we felt she deserved it. We decided just to leave the roach-napkin folded and not make her aware of the nasty insect, though I sort of thought the restaurant should know about it. So, while I generally give this place a glowing review, sadly, I will never visit this location ever again due to the insect. I do understand it is difficult to control this sort of thing, especially in Florida, but having to see once crawl across our booth table was totally unacceptable. I have no doubt that management would have offered us a discount on a future experience, but there will be no future for me at this location, ever. Great food, great atmosphere, great fun.......and, nasty roaches. Sorry to say it, but my last visit, though one of the best, was truly my last visit.

The grilled salmon was not seasoned. They don't season grilled salmon. The broccoli was overcooked. The rice, gravy, and corn was the best part of my meal. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I have recently reviewed this Ale House lunch specials poorly. Today, I accompanied two friends and was pleasantly surprised by the Italian Grinder. Yes, Grinder. A grinder is a regional term for Hoagie, Sub, or Hero sandwich, and it was delicious. Warm like it should be for an Italian, and very full. It came with a choice of side for 5.99. That is one of their better deals. I definitely would have that lunch special again. Ale House; CHOOSE WISELY In this case...I did.

Ale House! I've been here a couple times and I do enjoy it every time. I would come here sometimes after working the late shift for a certain mouse. What I love most about this place is that the staff here really make it worth it. It seems like most of the wait staff used to work for Disney, but didn't drink the Kool Aide and moved on. They still are super friendly, engaging, and comical. They know that when Cast comes in, they've worked an 8+ hour shift and are just looking to unwind. Appetizers are obscenely large and will satisfy your bar food craving. I usually get the loaded fries or chicken nachos. I'll warn you again, they are out of this world large. The loaded fries are one pound of fries, with cheese, green onions, and bacon bits. Super good, but you might want to share it with the whole table. For the beer lovers, this is probably the second best location to get a craft beer. They don't have the best selection for craft beer, but they do have a basic variety of beers on tap, (Blue Moon, Shock Top, Goose Head, etc), including hard ciders. I personally usually get the Angry Orchard. Can't go wrong with that. I have yet to try their desserts but the next time I do, I'm going to try the Captain Jack. Looks amazing!

This place is horrible..... Dont waste your money here! The service was extremely slow. My friend ordered a burger well done and it came back rare. I couldnt find a waitress and finally stopped a bus boy and asked for a manager.. Magically our waitress showed up. They did take the burger off the bill but too little to late!

Loooove the ale house franchise. Anytime I visit Florida I have to make a stop. It's now tradition and we come every year all the way from the Bahamas! Awesome place for family, kids or a night out with friends.

I really like this place. We look forward to coming here every time we're in the area. That said...we ordered 3 pizzas for take out...two were perfect. One was burnt. I'm giving a pass on this one as our other meals have been perfect. Great food...great prices... Fun atmosphere!

I usually go to the Millers in New Jersey. The food quality and service here seem much better. Our server was constantly asking us if we needed anything. Also really enjoyed the Longwood IPA he recommended. My wife and I ordered the hot wings and millers ale combo. Both were delicious and the portion sizes were generous. Definitely worth stopping by to watch a game or to just have a drink.

Decided to give this place a try for lunch since it was down the road from our hotel. It was early in the day so we got seated right away. Lots to choose from on the menu which is good and bad for me! My husband went with the fish tacos and asked for the chipotle cilantro sauce on the side. I had the chicken philly all the way. My husband loved the chipotle cilantro sauces which was surprising for him! My chicken philly was pretty darn good also. No complaints here and def would try again when back in town. Wanna try those zingers!

Was told wait time of 30-35 min, they have excellent waiting list software which texts you when they are ready for you and lets you keep an eye on the waiting list while you wait (the page even auto-refreshes). We waited in actuality probably only 10-15 minutes or at least it felt real short. Got seated, waiter Eric was super attentive. Honestly everything on the menu sounded great but we went with 1) dozen steamed clams, 2) zingers salad, and 3) cajun chicken pasta. We also had the top shelf Long Island and the rum punch for drinks. Oh, and they actually are the one place in Orlando that carries Pepsi products!? Everything was excellent, no seriously. In particular I would say the Cajun Chicken Pasta was the best thing we've had in Orlando so far. And that includes sit-down places in all the theme parks and California Grill at the Contemporary Resort. We were even joking that we would just come back here for dinner every night for the rest of our stay here. You won't regret choosing this place! Edited to add: Just ordered the Captain Jack's Buried Treasure for dessert (recommendation from Eric since everything looked good) and let me tell you, I'm not a big dessert or sweets fan but this was SO, SO GOOD.

Pleasantly surprised by the service, quality of the food, portion size and price. Everything exceeded expectations. We were on a family trip and searching for another burger place when we decided to visit Millers. If there was in our hometown, we would definitely be regulars. Hubs had a burger and I had a cheesesteak. Both were excellent.

Great food, service, and prices. Was in Orlando for a week and must say Miller's provided the best crab legs and fish and chips for the money in the area.

  • Michael K.

Used to be a decent place to eat. Food wasn't the best bit at least it was a cut above most sports bars. The service was pretty good. Sadly that has all gone away. The menu has changed to frozen tasting lifeless pizza. A menu of 30 different was to add buffalo chicken to an entree. Shredded meat that looks like it's been under heat lamps since last wedding down the road. Servers now who the menu is as foreign to them as nuclear science would be to most people. The added push of booze every chance they can get on every table. A management staff that seems to have failed at every serving job they ever had. Their people skills lacking to a point of your better off just talking to the wooden booths then to voice a concern. Bad bad service next to gas station quality food topped by a management staff full of Mcds university drop outs. Just to bad you can't give negative stars.

I had the garlic parmesan ZINGERS. They were good, it's bar food and the portions are huge. I went on Wednesday and they had $5 Zingers, which came with blue cheese, ranch dressing and a small side of celery. The ambiance and setting: think Buffalo Wild Wings meets your classic bar.

Let me tell you, we had had a bad experience here before, but we decided to give this place another shot, and ever since every experience we have had they have been great. Jodi and Sharita are amazing bartenders and very attentive, the rest of the staff very friendly as well. We have now been back several times now and food has been on point, and they really care about your experience. I will warn you they can tend to be busy on weekends and have waits, but I can tell you there's a reason for it and it's not just because of Disney being nearby. They have reasonable drinks, good food and great service. One of our favorite places to catch a game and enjoy a few drinks now in the area. Definite recommendation.

Great service. But the sangria might as well be water. Do we not have any alcohol serving standards here . The first time I have ever had sangria made with vodka and H2o.

Stopped here on a Sunday night from a recommendation from another establishment. Sat on the patio and had Jodi as my bartender. She was awesome! Attentive and sweet, great beer recommendations. Tried the happy hour night specials and the calamari was so overcooked the rings were complete rubber and the breading was like a KFC extra fried special. Couldn't eat even half the dish despite the fact we were starving. Second chance tried the ckn quesidillia and that was very good. A fair warning this place turns into a server bar at night because its the only place open late. I didn't mind, but some may find the noise annoying. Overall great experience thanks to the wonderful bartender

Ribeye was thin and dry. Told the waitress and she just looked at me and smiled. The shrimp scampi didn't have any taste. Do not recommend!

Went here for happy hour with coworkers, and had the Goose Island 312 since Craft Beers were $5, along with an order of Calamari which was also $5. The Calamari was skimpy, wasn't very hot and had little flavor. The sweet chili sauce pretty much makes that dish. That dish would have run me $8+, thank goodness for happy hour. I wanna try the Zingers if I ever come back. At least the Goose Island went down smooth. Service is just ok, I would only come here for the happy hour deals.

Let me start by saying I Lovveeee Miller Ale house. So when I came to this location I was quite disappointed. I should have known better because of the way it looks from the highway, but my husband choose this location because it was closes to our hotel. The outside of this miller house looks dark and older. Normally, Miller Ale houses always have a crowded parking lot--this one was bare--2nd warning. When we got inside it wasn't to clean either. The floor by our booth was dirty and didn't look like it had been swept in DAYS and our table was a little dirty as well. It took a while for our waitress to come, and when she did she was very dry and seemed as if she don't care to be at work. We ordered water only and it took her a while to come back with it. She also reached over my mother in law quite a lot and just didn't have a good service quality. Also, other waiters and waitresses were cleaning up a table behind us and they were very loud and cussing. I know this is not the best family establishment but come on--they saw my daughter and little sister. Our food was good and tasted like a true Miller Ale house but still bad service can make a big difference with me. Also, a manager came by cause he noticed we didn't have anything on our table and that we were sitting for awhile --so I appreciate that as well. With all this said I will not be visiting this location again. The location by the Wonderworks (the upside down house) in Orlando on international drive has much better service and better quality.

Met friends at this Ale House for drinks and a catch up session while they were in town visiting. Good location, nice TV's and plenty of seating in the restaurant or pub side. Joel was our server, he was great. Ran us through the specials and had us with our pints quickly. We enjoyed the smoked fish dip and then salads. Everything was prepared well, service flowed and it was a nice visit. Great place to hang out, watch games and share a meal whether you are a local or just visiting.

The cheese pizza is decent and not very expensive for its size. But it's a little worrying that after we had all declined alcohol twice, and after it started to rain heavily, our server pressured us again to buy a drink at the very end of the meal. You get more repeat business from SOBER drivers!

What can I say.... Service like a polished restaurant.... Prices reasonable... Crazy portions.... The best dessert ( capt jacks) on the planet... I smile the same leaving Nobu with a 300$ check as I do after the ale house with a $50 one. Every ale house.... Is consistent .... Florida.. Vegas... Doesn't matter.... This guy "miller" is a genius.

Ale House never popped into my mind when I think of wings, but a few weeks ago I tired their Jamaican Jerk wings and I am hooked! Sweet, just enough spice makes it one of my favorite wings. End the night with a Capti'n Jack's Buried Treasure or Nutty Brother! Note: when the wings come to the table I make sure to claim, "I'm the jerk!"

Will definitely be going back! Great company, great food! Our server was hilarious, personable, and silly. He is my friend's favorite and she always asks for him when she goes. Their appetizers are huge and definitely for sharing! We went on a Monday night and found out Mon-Thurs nights after 10PM there are $5 appetizers! I ordered a strawberry daiquiri but did not really enjoy it. My friends took advantage of the $2 beers, which I am sure was a promotion (perhaps happy hour?). The fries and mozzarella sticks were delicious but I loved my quesadilla that came with rice and beans! The portion was so huge, that I had the leftovers for lunch the next day! I recommend this venue to everyone! Love Ale House!

My wife and stopped at sea dogs for dinner. We left after 10 minutes. We had no service the time we were there. We stop at millers ale house on cr 535. We we're helped with in minutes. The employees were awesome. Large menu and food was great! The place was very busy but service did not suffer. Great job to our waitress and the others as well. They are honest and very friendly.

Awesome consistently good food at this Miller Ale House location. I order the Zinger Mountain Melt at every Ale House I go to and this is the only one that consistently brings out a great dish and never skimps on the cheese.

Not usually a big fan of ale house. Nothing in particular just not my favorite and I have had mixed service in the past. But tonight my server was exceptional. I am a picky eater and our server went out of her way to get me an item off the lunch menu and customize it with no cheese and sauce on the side. It didn't come out the first time but she was quick to correct the issue and was very sweet. Nice surprise from the ale house!

Came here twice for dinner while in town for business. The food was decent and the service was quick. Overall, it was a good experience. One thing I liked was that you could substitute chicken on their salads. I wanted grilled instead of fried and it was not a problem at all. They were priced reasonably. If I was in tone for work and nearby, I wouldn't hesitate to visit here again.

We're here for vacation, and this place is within walking distance. The food is is good for the price they charge us. Drinks are dirt cheap compare to Seattle. We come here twice and both times the service is super great! Wish they come to Seattle!

The food and service were great. We were traveling to Orlando and chose to eat and drink here over the hotel. We had the same server, Jodi, multiple nights and she was great. She was knowledgeable on all the beers they offered and was very friendly. Highly recommend.

The zingers are the best! Everyone needs to try them. I always love coming here to watch college basketball games. The atmosphere is a lot of fun and they have a lot of TV's to watch the games on. I always had great service anytime I came here as well.

I love the Ale House. We go there often after softball games or to watch football games on Saturday and Sunday. There are tons of tvs and often good drink specials!

Typical bar restaurant with bar food, nothing exceptional...except the people! My co-worker and I walked in during Sunday night football. I asked the hostess if it was possible to seat us where they were showing the Falcon's game. As busy was it was, she was able to seat is in prime seating to watch the game, even though we were surrounded by Miami fans. Our server, Bethany, really liked her too. She was attentive, recommended a nice appetizer, and when I didn't like the 1/2 dozen raw oysters (it was too fishy), she took it off our bill even though we told her she didn't have to. After we were done with our meal, she did not rush us out of there even though we were only into the 3rd quarter of the game. There was a balloon lady too, walking around making balloon animals for the kiddos.

Great service, and phenomenal food. I had the zinger salad and my boyfriend had the oysters and buffalo shrimp, we were both full and couldn't believe how great everything was. I am particular when it comes to salads especially when it has buffalo chicken. Most places with buffalo salads turn out soggy. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Took a group to lunch here today. Restaurant wasn't overly busy but it did have a lunch time rush. SERVICE WAS AWFUL.. Waited over 7 minutes to get acknowledged from our waitress.. Then drink order took forever and we only ordered WATERS... We decided to rush our ordering process due to bad service.. We then ordered a Zinger Salas, Key Lime Salad, and a chicken Sandwich.. FOOD ORDER TOOK OVER 28 minutes to get to us and food waited in window for several minutes.. Waitress rarely checked back on us for drink refills but could be see CONVERSING with other employees.. Once the food was brought out, the waitress never asked if we needed something else or if everything was good.. Never asked us any questions regarding our meals.. Highly disappointed since we needed a few things they forgot with our meals!!! We had a combination of 2 different waitresses who lacked the SERVICE portion of their job. WOULD NOT RETURN!

Our server was either stoned or mentally incapable. He screwed up on my order and kept bringing out the wrong items. Then when he presented the check he acted like he gave us a discount for all his screw ups and lack of attention. All he did was remove the items he messed up. His name is Franklin do not sit in his section.

35 shrimp. Seriously 35 decent sized shrimp $9.95. AKA I can eat two meals of shrimp for $9.95. Also, you get to pick a side. Also, you get coleslaw. That's pretty good! I got to go to this place the other night to have dinner and a drink or two while watching a basketball game. We picked it because the name of it made us assume it would have sports playing on TV, and we were right! Big restaurant, big bar, and lots of TVs. The place seemed to be swarming when I arrived, yet as soon as I told the host I had a party of 5 he immediately whisked me off to a booth in sight of at least two TVs that were tuned for the game I wanted to see. The food menu has a ton to choose from and so does the drink menu, but as I mentioned earlier, I ordered the 35 shrimp. You can also get 35 shrimp scampi, but I went with the standard instead (you can order them fried, grilled, or blackened - I got them fried with plenty of cocktail sauce). Buckets of beer were on special so my table split two. We also started with the nachos which were pleasantly good! Guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, seasoned ground beef, and lots of cheese! Good to share with a group, even of 5 hungry adults. But back to the shrimp - Anticipating 35 shrimp, I really thought they must be pretty small in order to give me that many, but I was wrong! They are not enormous (and actually I don't like jumbo shrimp so I was glad) but they are standard, medium-large sized. I really enjoyed it! Oh, and by the way -- the sign on the building (which is next to a 7-Eleven) says Orlando Ale House, not Miller's Ale House. I don't know if this is a recent change or not...but when you get close to the building it still says "Miller's" just above the door and the menu is the same and everything...so I'm not sure what the deal is. Just thought I should mention it so people are sure to find this place when they are looking for a different name.

A great place to watch NFL games. We just moved to Lakeland from Baltimore and the manager had no problems putting our game on. The food was good and they have a nice vegetarian menu as well (wife is a vegetarian). The brew selection was great and the service from the bartender was great.

There are places the hotel employees tell you to go and there are places they actually go. This is the latter. As a tourist seeking refuge from theme parks I loved it, but if there was one near my home, I'd still like it.

When you travel, there's always the places the employees of the hotels tell you to go to and there's the places the employees of the hotels go to. Or in this case, the places the DW employees told me to go. On my trip out to the world with my brother and a couple of buddies, we were visiting my bro's old stomping grounds. This meant catching up w/ old and new friends and of course, going to the places he ate. Miller's Ale House is one of said places and it was quite popular with the locals. Why? It's cheap! That's why. Our original goal was to go and eat their infamous chicken nachos. It's a heaping stack of chips topped with guac, cheese, jalapenos, sour cream and pico de gallo (salsa) with a bit of grilled chicken. I can't tell you the price because I forgot and my brother wouldn't let us pay. The taste? What else can you expect out of nachos, not much. But there was a lot and it was cheap. The other good thing was that their drinks are cheap. When we went they had $4 (i think) margarita's that weren't really strong and tasted more like lime juice concentrate than anything. But it had a little bit of kick. Would I go back? Yeah sure. It's a fun place to chill with the peeps. The cool thing was their huge seating chart of reserving a table for the superbowl. Needless to say at the beginning of January, almost all the tables were filled already. That just shows. Miller's Ale House is a hoppin' place.

I wanted to like this Ale House. It's fairly close to the house, so I was hopeful that I'd find a new spot to grab a pint and a snack. Yeah, about that. Depending on the time of day, I've been greeted by a smiling face (point) or a gruff, angry bouncer type (point lost). Bar service here is lacking, well, service. I've had better experiences in the dining room, but after sitting at the bar, it's hard not to. Food is mediocre on a good day, but when dining with more than two or three people, we've never had an experience where there wasn't something wrong with at least one person's food. This brings me to the biggest issue I have with the place: management. Multiple visits, problems consistently, but no manager visits. What could the manager be doing that's more important than guest service? Let's talk about that. Watching tv! My favorite Miller's tv moment came ax I watched my server inform the manager who was openly leaning on the bar watching tv about a problem at my table . I then watched as that manager looked at our table, looked back at the tv, looked again at us and then started walking towards us only to veer to the left, hide (or so he thought) behind a partition and position himself there for the next twenty minutes in order to finish his show uninterrupted. The fun part was that I could still see him. I think his team lost. I've also seen managers in appropriately touching both staff members and guests, but hey, the guests were pretty hammered, so I guess that makes it ok. Fortunately, there are other locations that have saved this company in my eyes, but this location is a joke. Fortunately for them, there's a steady throng of tourists coming in and out that just don't know better.

Millers is a great place for a casual meal for anyone. The menu is extensive, and every single thing we have tried is excellent! Whether you are looking for a healthy lunch (lots of soups, salads and sandwiches), a hearty meal (awesome ribs, burgers, steaks), some fresh seafood (blackened fish sandwich, lobster, scallop pasta), or just a great place to hang out with friends and have a bite and beer while watching the game, Millers is a great place to go! We have been coming to Orlando annually for over 20 years, and this is a true gem. Great service, great food, casual atmosphere... We love it!

This place was awful. We went in last night (5/3/2014). The second I walked in the waitress asked if I was here for "fight night". I said no, so she immediately leaves and refuses to serve me or even place me. My husband comes in and asked to be seated because he's already irritated by the poor service and how the staff has been treating me. When we finally get a place to sit, we didn't receive the drinks or silverwear 2we ordered and we were there for over an hour and a half. When we finally get our food, my food was awful. It was bland and dry. I ordered the ribs and onion rings, and my ribs tasted like they had been sitting out for hours and they were cold. The onions were in the same shape, bland, cold and tasted like they had been sitting out. My husband had the worse experience, though. My husband ordered the steak with potatoes and green beans. The potatoes and green beans were bland. My husband used his silver wear to cut the steak and he found that the steak was completely raw. It's like they took the steak out of the freezer, slammed it in the microwave to get the frost off of it and then put it on my plate. So, he asked them to take it back so they could cook his steak. They also took back his silver wear. The plate comes back 2 minutes later and they gave him a different potato and green beans, but the steak was exactly the same. He didn't even receive the shrimp that came with the steak... So, it is sent back a third time. When it comes back, he can't cut his steak because they purposely took away his silver wear (i'm guessing so he couldn't check his steak.) By this time he's completely fed up. The shrimp are on the plate, though, but they come back not breaded but have a thousand island dressing drowning the shrimp on the plate. They were disgusting. The manager comes over and ask what's going on. Instead of helping us, he told us he would be charging us an extra 10 dollars a person because we were here after 10 PM and it was fight night. We weren't there to watch the fight... we just wanted to get our food and leave quickly. We didn't leave quickly, we were there for an hour and a half, our food was cold, bland and just shitty. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, but they didn't bring dipping sauce and the calamari was in the same state as the rest of our food. Cold, bland, and poor tasting. I do not recommend eating here. The service is awful, and we still had to pay the $75 dollars in total for food that wasn't even cooked all the way.

3.5 Miller's is a nice casual spot to catch a game and grab some drinks. Flat screen TV's line the interior of the restaurant giving a great selection for sports fans. They have an excellent beer selection on tap. I found my favorite, Leinenkugal! And it was only 3.95 a glass! They also have 2 dollar Cuervo shots, can't beat that! The food was typical bar food. One tip: Stay far far away from the raw oysters. I know they are cheap but there is a reason why. We ordered a dozen and they came out warm and were of bad bad quality. ick!

An Orlando Institution. A 'classy' sports bar with decent food. This is not a review of a specific visit but rather a culmination of many nights over the last 6 years that I have been in Orlando. In that amount of time, they have even experienced an expansion - creating a special outdoor patio to bring them more in line with other Ale House's in the area. The amount of money I have sunk into this place is probably worth a couple month's paychecks. I have had quite a bit on the menu and my tastes have changed from gorging myself on the ridiculous Chicken Nachos to experiencing everything on the menu that has Zinger attached to it. Speaking of Zingers, they are pretty fantastic. Medium Garlic Zingers + Loaded Fries + Cajun/Southwestern Ranch = Win. For those visiting the parks that want something off property, this is a good destination. Warning though: this place can get very busy and the parking situation is awful. On busy nights, I have taken to parking at Chili's and walking over from there. Bonus: The alcohol is not silly expensive either. Especially if you take advantage of the specials.

We have loved Ale House until tonight when my husband took a spoonful of onion soup and ate a cockroach. The manager couldn't say anything but they don't make the soup in the restaurant. That it comes in a bag. He then proceeded to tell us that he has seen the kitchen open a bag of pre-made salad mix and it had bugs in it. Really? Get a new supplier! We will not be returning anytime soon. If we do, we'll stick to the beer!

We come here often & food is OK but when you come here with friends to have a good time you at least expect the server to pretend they want to be here. Chad is the least enthused server I have ever met & can really bring down the mood of your experience. Definitely not server material.

What you expect for a local sports bar, cheap buckets of beer and a bunch of fried food with plenty of TVs to watch any kind of game. I had the fish and chips and the bottom of the plate was covered in greese by the time I was done and they charged us for ordering a side of ranch dressing. Our waitress was very pacient with us and did a good job of directing us around the menu. If you are in the area you won't go wrong with the place, but don't expect the best bar of your life.

Being New Year's Eve, my co-workers wanted to go somewhere that we could get in an out of quickly because we needed to get back to work. I'm not a huge Ale House fan, but it's ok once in a while. We were seated right away and our service was excellent. We all ordered from the monthly/weekly specials. I got the zinger tacos. Which honestly was 3 soft tacos that had a wing sauced chicken tender in it. It had a little blue cheese dressing on it and not a whole lot else. The side was black beans and rice. But the rice was closer to a rice pilaf than true black beans and rice. With tax and a tip (no drink), my bill was $10. For the price, I would prefer to get something else the next time. The plus was that I didn't eat all 3 tacos. I had one left over which I ate later in the evening because I was working a double shift that night.

This place was great. The pasta was absolutely wonderful and they're not even a pasta place. My wife had ribs and they were pretty good too. Service was good as well. I would definitely come back if I had the chance too which I'm trying to talk my wife in to going again. :-)

This place is just that place you go to. It's in a great location, it has food everyone can eat, it has the drinks you like at a reasonable price (especially if you split it amongst a group), there are televisions on every wall...yet sometimes they play strange 90's music, like the Baskstreet Boys...I think just for laughs. Regardless, this is a great Buffalo Wild Wings alternative and great place to meet a large group of friends for the game.

I do work at WDW and I do come here not SUPER often but a bit. Yes, the food is cheap (and cast members get a small discount) and the bar is super fun but I have a few yummy loves at this place. On this particular occasion I came for lunch with a co-worker. I ordered my favorite item on the menu, French Onion Soup. I went through a phase a couple years ago where I was trying French onion soup at EVERY restaurant I went to that serves it and at this Ale House I have found my favorite! The cheese is super melty and gooey but there is enough soup and onions and bread to fill you up. Now I did also get Spinach Dip probably out of habit. The spinach dip is not the greatest but I was being wishy washy and that was the first thing that popped out of my mouth..well, after I'd ordered my soup. The restaurant was really busy when we ate here at around 1pm which I thought was a little surprising for lunch. Usually it's very quiet at this time. But, as always, a fun place to chill with co-workers after work hours and a cheap yummy lunch!

came here during the Disney marathon weekend. it was pretty crowded but my party of 3 was seated as soon as we got there. we wanted to catch the football game on sat and Yelp-ed it and found this sports bar. this is def on the nicer end of sports bars. lots of seating at tables, booths and bar. Huge TVs everywhere. you could catch several diff games at a time if you wanted too. our server was good for it being super packed and the food was your typical bar food. deep fried anything can't really go wrong i suppose. oh yes--- there are always bar specials and the drinks are not pricey at all!

I've been wanting to try this place because the parking lot is always full. Well I was finally able to get a parking space. It started with requesting if there is anything local on tap, unfortunately there isn't. I ordered the fish dip which was pretty good, but left a fishy taste in my mouth towards the end. It wasn't slimy at all and had a good amount of mashed up fish meat. For the entree I ordered the bahamian dolphin wrapped in aluminum foil during cooking with an assortment of potatoes and vegetables. The mahi mahi which was the actual fish, was a bit flat and I expected more from it. The juices were bland and tasteless. The only thing that provided flavor was the sliced lemon pieces which were cooked with the rest of the dish.

  • Sarah K.

Went here with two other friends for lunch. The beer and service were both good. I had the fish tacos which were very tasty, the cilantro/salsa mix they put on them was very flavorful. I'd definitely recommend that dish. On another note, a friend of mine got the fish and chips and thought that it was okay. I tried a little and the breading tasted home-made, but it seemed to be heavier on breading than fish. So one less star for that. Otherwise, a good experience.

While vacationing in Orlando with my family, I came across Miller's Ale House on Yelp with multiple great reviews and we were not disappointed! Updated this review - from 5 to 3 stars Good all round. Husband said the Cobb salad is awesome. It comes with both chicken and shrimp. I generally get the turkey burger - nice portion. And the sweet potato fries are work the extra cost. Can't say I cared for paying extra for the ciabatta roll; I thought the regular hamburger bun was better. They have huge glasses of ice tea, and refill them quickly. On past visits to Orlando our son and his friends really enjoyed this place - the zingers, large portions, and all the sports. Also very reasonably priced for what you get. Would we go back? We always do on our trips to Orlando - and generally more than once.

We didn't realize this was a chain when we went, we were just going off other Yelpers' recommendations. There were good drink specials and decent bar food. Our server was attentive, and the kitchen was accommodating with special requests. Nothing to write home about, but no complaints, either.

Disappointing. We have been here before but had a much better experience. We arrived and were seated. We had to wait awhile to be waited on and our waitress switched on us. They brought us a sald but had no dressing. The guy said he would go get some but got lost along the way. My partner ordered the prime rib special, which was tasty, however the fries were not cooked. I ordered the zinger quesidellia's which were so greasy I had to pat them down with a napkin. Our final waitress, Ashley, was very friendly and nice.

What a vibrant sports bar atmoshpere! We had a blast watching the Miami vs. Oklahoma NBA Finals game! We didn't wait long, the hostess was friendly, and the food was pretty good! We had French Onion Soup, Buffalo Shrimp, Fish Tacos, and a blackened fish sandwich. Everything was good, but the fish actually needed some more seasoning. The fish tacos and fish sandwich both were made with mahi-mahi and the blackening seasoning on the sandwich was not sufficient to give the fish a great flavor. I had to add hot sauce to my tacos. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would return. I like that the menu is so varied. The atmosphere is indeed a sports bar, so don't expect a quiet venue.

My husband and I had eaten here a few years ago before it was Millers ale house. Back then it was just the Orlando ale house. We loved it then and were very happy this time. We both had the crab leg dinners. That's 1 lb of crab (about 2 claws) and comes with fries and slaw. Everything was great, my fries were a little cold but that wasn't a deal breaker. We were thrilled to find a crab leg dinner for $13.50. My husband made his fries loaded (cheese and bacon) for only $1 more. Great drink prices. 2.25 killians drafts for a St. Patty's day special. Many more specials. The captain jacks buried treasure dessert is a must have! Its only $5 and enough to share. Delicious! This a great alternative to spending a fortune in the parks for a burger or hot dog.

We ordered carry-out and they said they lost our ticket. We went back up there and complained since the order was really messed up even beyond being ice cold. they were really great about giving us a refund and even gave us a gift card to come back. So a few days later i call back for carry-out, and after being on hold for 15 minutes, they said it would take 45 minutes for it to be ready. I'm not overly impressed with their service or their food, but at least they made an attempt to fix their mistake.

Wow!! Not sure how this Ale House compares to other ones; but I love it!! I had the 12 oz Ribeye Steak and oh my!! It was delicious! I had the strawberry margarita and wow, did it have a good kick of tequila! I also had the Skittles shot (yum). For dessert, we shared the Capt'n Jack's Buried Treasure and it was delicious! We had to divide it between the three if us. Our waiter, Austin, was super friendly and nice! He would come to check if everything was alright! He even sat down with us. He worked for his tip!! I liked also how it had a variety of sports channels on; something different for everyone! It was packed by the time we got in, but not over packed, like other places. I definitely recommend it as someplace to go on a Friday/Saturday night to unwind and chill with friends.

This place was a life saver. I was in Orlando for business and for what ever reason we were staying at a resort so food and drink prices were out of control. But luckily just across the street was this little gem. The bartenders were super nice and the drinks are stiff. The food was also very good and I was there twice in 3 days. I wish I could give more details but I was actually in the best of shape when I left! lol. I can tell you if you are in the area that's the spot!

Four stars is too much. We had dinner there last night. The onion rings were cold, all of our food was delivered timely, but was only luke warm. Taste-wise, no one commented on "how good" their meal was. The atmosphere is fun. We'll only go here for drinks the future.

Despite being in tourism driven neighborhood this place is filled with locals. There always is a number of tourists and often families that make their way there, but it does often remind me of the local college sports bar environment; however, it does attract a number of hospitality employees in the local area of all ages. Many hospitality employees go after work or meet friends/co-workers so you might even recognize a uniform piece or two. It can get a bit rowdy in there and many patrons aren't so focused on their servers, etc. as they are on socializing with friends. Most of the food is okay, but the prices aren't that bad. In fact, many consider it cheap bar food. Drink specials draw a lot of traffic, especially on Tuesdays when ladies 21+ drink free. Make sure you carpool because the worst thing about this location is parking or lack-there-of. Many complain about this and often end up being creative with parking or patrons park multiple restaurants away.

Ale House as a whole has really good food for a really good price. They have phenomenal drink specials, and their beer is always super cheap. My personal faves for food are loaded cheese fries, Big Red, and Nutty Brother. The cheese fries are pretty much self explanatory, but their ranch is to die for. The Big Red is a gigantic fried chicken breast smothered in hot sauce and cheese. The Nutty Brother is a peanut butter ice cream cake, yummmyyyyyy. The servers at this particular Ale House for the most part are amazing, so friendly, quick, and act like they really care. Tuesday is Ladies night and ladies drink beer and well drinks for free starting at 9 so that's a pretty sweet deal. My personal preference for Ale Houses is the one on Kirkman Rd. I just hate the clientele of this one, especially at night. It's full of nothing but obnoxious, overbearing Disney Cast Members all night long. My favorite thing to do though, is actually order take-out. Just call ahead and go pick up your order. My favorite thing to order via take-out is chicken nachos, because for whatever reason they give you twice as many toppings. By all means though, if you're a tourist in this area and the LBV Ale House is the only one you can get to then go. The food will make you happy you did.

Basic bar and food but very consistent. The food is very solid and the servers are very friendly. If it suits you get a seat at the bar and good service turns to great service. We have tried most of the food and most of the specials and have only been disappointed twice (British burger, prime rib).

Great spot for drinks and pub fare with friends! Used to live here (almost literally) and survived off of $5 pitchers of Miller Lite and layered chicken nachos. Sad to say that the quality of the chicken nachos has declined significantly while the price has risen, but this is still an outstanding restaurant for cheap beer and good food.

This is probably one of my favorite places to go for a brew-or-two because of their VIP card. (You get one of these if you work in hospitality). I love having blue moons for only $3! There are plenty of other drink specials as well. The food is good, the bartenders are very attentive and always remember who you are and what you drink - sounds simple enough, but these are the things that make a difference! The servers are also extremely personable and attentive. There is plenty of seating whether you're there to eat or there to drink. There are high-tops, booths, bar seating, etc. You can typically get seated right away, and your bill won't be astronomical. If you're looking for a place to become a regular at, this would be a good choice.

We were visiting from out of town and found this place because we were looking for a good sports bar. It's a GREAT sports bar. They have TVs everywhere so you're guaranteed to find a place to watch your team. Beyond that, they also have a great selection of draft beers, including a variety of craft beers from some great U.S. microbreweries. People raved about the nachos but we thought there were way to many chips and not enough cheese. The Zinger tacos were fantastic though.

ZINGERS! I always have to visit the Ale House on my trips to Florida! Zingers and Yuengling!! This is a great sports bar and grill in Florida. Always consistent with the food and the service. My favorite meal here is Zingers and Cheese Fries ( or a Zinger Mountain Melt if your eating alone). There is always sports on the TV, so you might just catch your local team on the TVs! Great for late night food after the parks close!

The drink specials/prices are great you can't beat them on both liquor and beer. The food on the other hand. . .let me just say you better be drunk before you eat anything here. I had fish tacos and they were sub par, my friend had a steak sandwitch and it looked like it was frozen before, he also order broccoli as a side and they literally gave him a half steamed head of broccoli, come on people. Decor is Applebees inspired and the service is meh. Skip over this one.

The chicken teriyaki appetizer was huge!! I had it for a meal. Pretty tasty. Everyone at the table loved their meal, especially the zingers. And you can't go wrong with $6 pitchers either.

The AleHouse is always a good time! Perfect for going to watch any games. Cheap drinks...ladies drink for free after 9pm on Tuesdays. Good Food...try the Zinger Mountain Melt or the crab mozzarella. So d-lish!

This is a great example of everything that is wrong with this area. Called this place just as they were opening at 11 and asked if they could put the soccer match on, which was the biggest of the year. I knew they had more TVs than any bar in the area, as well as the channel. The man said they would not put it on. I assured him it would be done before any nfl game started... He still said it was impossible, all TVs had to go onto the PREGAMES at 12... I was baffled. I told him we would have to go somewhere else and he hung up on me. Is this customer service? Took my 15 friends to another ale house and they were glad to change ONE tv for our business. So, kudos to them. I called later to voice my displeasure...and while apologetic, the manager almost seemed to blame me. He said the person who answered the phone was an 18 year old kid who didn't know anything and I should have asked for the GM. Um, what? Why do you let someone with no clue answer the phones and give definite answers to people? Silly me for assuming your staff knows what they are talking about. I've also eaten at this ale house before, and it is definitely subpar compared to other locations. Ordered the steak fajitas and it was terrible. Meat was hardly cooked and not seasoned at all. The vegetables were all still cold and crunchy...not cooked at all. I would have been better off going to Taco Bell. Not sure how someone could actually send that plate out.

If you've lived in/around Orlando for the last several years then chances are you've been to an Ale House. Basically, it's a TGI Fridays type restaurant, with more of an emphasis on sports which is immediately noticed by the plethora of big screen TVs. The menu covers all the bases from appetizers (Zingers, duh!), salads, burgers/sandwiches. At the end of the day this is the kind of place you might go to watch a game and enjoy some decent drink specials, or if you have a big group and want to make sure that everyone can find something suitable.

A place to go when better places are closed, as they are opened late night (2am, I think) and when you're not in the mood for fast food or chained restaurants. The menu offers a HUGE array of items to cater to almost any taste and appetite size. This could pose a problem when you don't know what you want. I ordered the crab and shrimp quesadilla and was RATHER disappointed. Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to put basil in a seafood Mexican item. It just didn't taste right for me. I also ordered the conch chowder and that was EXCELLENT. My friend ordered the breaded pork medallions and they were great too. Make sure you order an extra side of gravy, though. :D Substitutes allowed! The service was the difference between 2 stars and 3 stars. She was very friendly and patient as we just couldn't decide on what to order.

I had to review this place simply for the wings - they are better than any other place I can think of, so much so, that they are addicting! We came across this place because it was across the street from friends' hotel and because a local had mentioned it, and because the Ice Bar (see that review next) had closed way too early (1am) and we weren't ready to call it a night. Our party ordered 50 naked medium wings and the 35 shrimp platter, just to absorb some of the alcohol all of us had been drinking (A LOT!) - both were so good we dusted them in minutes! We even went back twice to take-out wings before leaving town because they were so mouth-watering and had to have them again! The parking lot each and every time we went was CRAZY BUSY (on Thursday at 1:15am, Friday at 1:30am, and Saturday at 7:30pm) so finding parking is definitely a negative. Oh, and the bar hand slash security was hatin on us and trying to hide that he was intimidated by the size of the guys in our party, and literally taking drinks out of hands at 1:55am pushing us out the door - so not rightl!!! But our waitress was cool, had a sense of humor, and took care of us before we were being pushed out. Oh ttheir cherry bomb shot (don't ask me what was in it) was smooth and yummy - my kind of shot!!! We'll definitely go back again, but only for the wings, and maybe to watch a sporting event, altho it was very loud and a lil too redneck than us CALI folk care for.

great place to go and just hang out. like many of the other reviews the first time I went there I found the name misleading. I expected there to be more of a beer selection and possibly a brewery. but I got over it the first time i had their food. the food is incredible. their beer battered onion rings are the best ever. they have fantastic seafood. They are a sports bar so if you enjoy sports this is a great place to go and watch a game and have a few beers and not spend a fortune. I haven't been there in awhile but I have allways received good service. The only time the service has been lousy is when you go during a big game at night and the place is packed. but that's understandable. i could really care less about that.

Dude... I wish we went to this place the first night we came to town. All I have to say is the amount that we spent here for 2 pitchers of beer, chilly cheese fries, chicken wings, two mixed drinks and 24 yaeger bombs was equivilant to 2 rounds of 10 shots at Pleasure Island. Goodness gracious this alcohol was super dupper cheap! $5 pints of beer, $5 yaeger bombs, and $3 captain cokes - I sware you can't beat that. If you are in FL with a group of people who want to watch sports on a ton of plasma tvs, eat, drink, play pool and have a good time this is definetly the place. They have drink specials every night too and 2 pool tables @ $1.50 a game. The sad thing is that we came here the last night of our trip and drank 2 nights in a row over at Pleasure Island. Boo... Disney took alot of our money those nights.

On Aug 14, 2012 I dined at Miller's Ale House. I sat at table 54 and had the utter misfortune to be waited on by Richard H. We were a party of 3. I ordered 1/2 dozen clams from the raw bar along with a caesar salad. We all ordered appetizers/starters and he asked if we wanted those to come out first. We said yes. He brought everything together. We said nothing but all looked at ea other. When they brought oysters instead of clams, he came to the table and argued with me, "I asked you if you wanted raw oysters. You said yes." I looked at him but did not reply as I did not want him to spit in my forthcoming order. However, I absolutely did NOT order oysters. Richard came back to the table to let me know my STEAMed clams were on the way. I corrected him AGAIN, "Raw, dear". At the end of our meal we sat and waited for him to approach the table. I was seated facing him as he wiped down empty tables (4 of them). When he finally looked up and made eye contact (which it appeared he had been avoiding), I told him we were ready. He held up one finger and without smiling said "One minute". He finished wiping down the tables, which incidentally were empty with no one waiting for them and finally came. "OK, how many boxes?" When we answered individually he appeared impatient, "So how many boxes in total?" He came with the boxes but forgot the sauce my friend asked for twice (once with her order). As he collected the dishes I said, "We're ready for the check when you are". He responded, "I'm just trying to clear the dishes first". Appallingly rude and unprofessional throughout. I left him a 13% tip when I am accustomed to leaving 20%. Visiting from NYC, I was astonished at the courtesy, approachability and friendliness of waitstaff, sales persons, and people in general in Orlando. This individual was, however, without question the most rude and pitiful server I have had the misfortune of being waited by in years. The little errors did not bother me. It is the surly attitude and outright disrespect to patrons. How dare he become argumentative with a diner? Mind boggling. Needless to say, he did not wish us a good evening, rather he did not even look up as we left. In retrospect, I am angry I left him a gratuity at all and would have liked it refunded. The clams were tiny and eh. Caesar was good. We had a far better experience at Ale House on 7370 Colonial Dr the day before. Three days after sending in my comments I received a voicemail from Eric Stevens, the general manager of Ale House. I was asked to leave a message when I called the following day. He returned that call within minutes. He was both professional and sincere sounding. He asked me to provide additional information, allowed me an opportunity to voice my impressions, and thanked me for both my letter and return call. Eric emphasized the value of such feedback. He apologized for my experience, assuring me that this was not the standard that Miller's Ale House sets forth and told me he wanted to make things right. I was taken aback when he said 'obviously he's no longer with us' but apparently this waiter has had previous issues. Eric offered to send me gift cards, which will be redeemable at any location and not expire. I am very satisfied with the prompt and appropriateness of response of management and will update this review when I have had another chance to visit their establishments.

I agree with the first poster; the name "Alehouse" is very misleading when you have a complete lack of microbrews. In fact, I don't think they even had a single ale! On a recent trip to Orlando I was leaving the airport and searching for a restaurant other than fast food or Applebee's/TGIFridays/Ruby Tuesday. The Alehouse seemed like a good place. The atmosphere wasn't too bad with a very open feel and borderline tacky combo of neon signs and fishing props. Seemed like a great happy hour spot with excellent daily drink deals and a pretty young crowd, as well as the nice outdoor bar/patio. Good beer selection in terms of number of beers, but nothing particularly special, aside from Dos Equis on tap which I don't know that I've ever seen before. I was pretty disappointed in the food, though prices were very reasonable and not really setting my expectations too high. I had the cajun chicken pasta which was way too salty and saucy. I also tried several "zingers" (boneless buffalo wings) which were soggy but had decent flavor and a good amount of actual meat in them. Probably a great place to meet up with some friends after work, but nothing I'd go out of my way to patronize.

Good selection of beers and the food is good and reasonable. I had the cheese steak, pretty good would order again. Chicken nachos are huge. We went at lunch, the service was good. Lots of TVs so great place to watch sports.

I haven't received my food yet and I already love it. $1 and $2 margaritas and the atmosphere is pretty sweet. I'll be back with a review on the food later. Ok got my food and it was pretty good. I usually don't order onion rings but For some reason was in the mood. They were REALLY good. After living in Florida for a couple months, I have found my new favorite place.

How can you call yourself an Ale house when you have no microbrews on tap? Ah well, pretty good beer selection for being so far away from Oregon. :) They had some things from the other side of the pond and some better macrobrews. The Hilton concierge was right about the food. I had a fantastic Jambalaya there. My companions also enjoyed their food (fish and cajun pasta). I thought it was funny how much the staff were talking up the salmon... especially since I'm from Seattle. We had good service and helpful prompt wait staff. The place was pretty beat down inside, but not horrible... like a cross between Applebee's and a dive bar.

A nice break from all things Disney I was expecting "Alehouse" to be a brewery. It was more of a sports bar. I ordered the Tuesday Night Prime Rib Special, which was suppose to be 12 oz of Prime Rib. What I didn't count on was that 1/3 of it was pure fat. Thank goodness I wouldn't be able to eat 12 oz of meat anyway so it wasn't a big deal. The hubby ordered the seafood combo. You can't really screw up fried shrimp, fish, clams and french fries. The kids ordered pizza. I think they liked it since they ate it all, but who knows...they could have been hungry enough from all that walking at the Magic Kingdom to eat anything.
