I loved eating here with my friend! The service was great and the food expertly prepared. I really enjoyed the ambiance and table set up. There were no booths and every table had white table cloths with beautiful brick arches in the arcitexture. It really reminded me of New England style restaurants from up north. Extremely classy. They also have an amazing wine, port, and scotch list.

Service was slow... Which I believe the problem is that they do not seat guests equally among the servers. I saw first hand that our server had 4 additional tables that arrived right after we did... Other guest would arrive and their server had just 1 or two tables. Scallops were tasteless & expensive, but my bride really enjoyed the crab stuffed mahi mahi. $30 for 5 little little tasteless scallops is robbery. Atmosphere and noise is just a notch above Red Lobster.

This place was just all right. The service was great but my entrée was cold and I sent it back. The manager did come over to apologize but there was nothing comped, which I kind of expected. The prices here are pretty large for the quality of the food. Pretty much paying for the name here. I think you're probably other choices close by that would be better. We're going to search on.

Food was great. The crab cakes and crab dip were amazing, it was just a perfect dish for two. These crab cakes was so delicious on top of grits as it was the same consistency. The sauce just made it top notch. The waitress was really sweet and brought the manager over to make a correction on our Landry's rewards card as what was rewarded at the beginning of dinner disappeared on our phone app. The night gets weirder when the manager stated our rewards was used at 1pm. I was getting a spa at that time so that was quite impossible. Our request was granted and we will be back for more crab cakes and hope to give them more than average.

I love Landry's for the seafood. Every time I come down this way I try to go at least once because they don't have one in my hometown. I met some friends for dinner and it just so happen that one of them was celebrating their birthday this week so we were gonna make this extra special. We got there about 6pm on a Monday and we just made it before the dinnertime rush. I like the decor and the fancy cloth napkins and tablecloth, but I really like the lighting. There's a "spotlight" over each table and my friends felt it was too dark. Our server Brittany was awesome. We started off with seafood stuffed mushrooms, onion straws, and 1/2 dozen oysters. I passed on the mushrooms even though I love them and I was told they were great, stuffed with crab and topped with cheese. We all shared the onion straws which came with ranch dressing. They were lightly fried and piled high on the plate. Very good. Next came the house salad that came in a big bowl set on the middle of the table. Can't say too much about the salad because you have to try to mess that up. Our entrees, oh my god. All of ours smelled delicious! I personally had the Cedar Plank Salmon. This came with asparagus and rice pilaf which were both wonderful. The asparagus was lightly oiled up and I experienced no after effects. The rice pilaf was flavorful and I attempted to eat it all but I couldn't. The salmon was served on the cedar plank that was charred around the edges and came with a sweet dipping sauce. That was some of the best salmon I've ever had in a restaurant. My friends had the Seafood Mixed Grill, the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp and the Coastal Seafood pasta. All agreed that their food was awesome. The best part was when it was requested that Lynn, the famous Landry's singing waitress, come over to our table singing Happy Birthday. She brought me and my other friend complementary mini desserts. I got a mini Red Velvet Cake and that was fabulous. I thought I'd get cream cheese with it but instead it was vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate chips. Lynn's singing was amazing and the whole restaurant stopped to listen and watch. She's a real gem. As we were getting ready to leave Lynn asked if we'd come back for the next birthday. I told her if she's still there, you betcha!

Great food, fast and friendly service, PLAYGROUND while you wait. After 9 days in Orlando we got tired of park faire and ventured out. Wish we would have came here sooner. Got seated quickly in the bar- ask for Toni. Oysters are huge!

A little pricey for what it is but it's seafood. I loved the atmosphere, cute little slide/park for kids to play outside, lots of big windows, and a cute bar. Definitely worth coming here for HAPPY HOUR! Super cheap drinks and food...both delicious! It's M-Thurs 3-6 and Saturday-Sunday 12-4!

Landry's has a little bit of a schizophrenic thing going on. Inside, the dining room is quite nice with white tablecloths and candles. Most people were dressed up a bit. But - they have an outdoor playground, and a dude coming around making balloon animals. WTF? I mean, he was amazing but still - and he was hitting every table, even those without kids. Very odd indeed. The food - acceptable but unremarkable. I had a steak and just a few days later, I can't really recall anything about it other than that it was "fine". Service was very pleasant and reasonably attentive. For me, Landry's perfectly defines the word "average".

It was my first time coming here, I came with a party of 12 people. We came to eat here for my father's birthday. And when I first sat down and looked at the menu, I saw the restaurant's logo, and then the message "Happy Birthday Julio!!". This was printed on all the other menus on the table as well! Our server was great, along with others surrounding us! Our server DEFINITELY deserved checkmarks under well-mannered, knowing his fish and a good story teller! Our appatizers were brought to us within 5 minutes of ordering, nice n' quick! I ordered a Shirley Temple as my drink, and my actual meal was an order of their Coconut Shrimp, for $19.50. Our food arrived slightly late. My Coconut Shrimp had too much coconut in it. It maxed out the shrimp's flavor, so all I tasted was pure coconut. All in all, this place was pretty great! Maybe something different off the menu next time will satisfy me.

Food was great!! Overall a wonderful experience. Maura was our server, she did a great job & it was her second day on the floor. We had 6 people, ate at 6pm on a Sunday. Ate the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi. It was soooo good!!!! So is the house dressing on their salads. Loved it!

This was our last night of dinner on our trip. We debated and debated over where to go and finally decided on landry's seafood. Laurie was our waitress and she made our dining experience unforgettable. We started off with the crispy onion straws and jalapeños, with a ranch dipping sauce. It was to die for. I ordered the shrimp enbrochette. It was to amazeballs. 6 seafood stuffed, pepper jack cheese, jalapeño and bacon wrapped shrimp with a mornay sauce. It came with dirty rice and asparagus. 1-10. It was a 15. My cousin ordered The fillet mignon. It was 8 ounces of pure deliciousness. It came with a loaded baked potato and a fresh salad. We were offered desert of Keylime pie or bread pudding but we had no more room for it to do it justice. From looking at the restaurant outside, it looks like a very casual place. But when you walk inside, you get the feel that it is a fine dining establishment. White linen tablecloths, intimate lighting as well as the professional looking waitstaff. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely come back again.

Excellent food and service. I had the lobster tail and it was excellent. Not rubbery or dry; fresh and moist. I highly recommend. Parents had filet mignon and loved it and the salmon on a plank. All Excellent

Seriously the worst food I've ever eaten. Sent back my dry overcooked fish twice. Overcooked is an understatement, it was hammered. Finally I ordered the lobster tail. These people obviously have no idea how to cook fish. This was barely tolerably. The crab dip was cold in some spots. I ordered a dark beer. The bartender offered 2 different ones, neither were a dark or amber ale. The waitress was nice and polite, but she had to go back to her manager twice to get the first 2 bad fish orders off the bill. When I requested my meal out of 6 guests should be comped, the manager was a complete imbecile. He said I didn't have to wait for my food. Um, I was given my meal after everyone in my party had finished and plates taken away. Really, you jerk. If this is considered upscale, I could do better with fast food. Never again!

What can you really say about seafood restaurant? That being said.... For this restaurant to be over priced just because it's around the disney area, then they need to step up their game. 1. Get rid of the table and quit hiding your cushion table with white linen. Our drinks was unstable, we had to move the drinks around just because we were worry about it falling over. 2. Are you trying to be like olive garden with your salad bowl? And the salad did not look all that great. 3. The food was ok, it wasn't super out of this world. Especially for the price. I guess it's because seafood can be a difficult task to cook. Overall we had a great Server Scott, he was quick and did a good job serving our party of 7. All the employees that works there were very attentive and pleasant. At this time I don't know if I would recommend this place to my friends or if I would go back. I don't think it can classified it as a fine dining restaurant.

Table didn't have cloth as someone wrote in a review. I ate alone and my bill was 83 bucks. I think it should be a LOT nicer if it ended up costing that much for one person. I had the house salad with ranch. The tomatoes and cucumbers were diced like they were going to go into a Taco Bell burrito. Also not up to par. For the ambiance and salad I'd give them two stars. Here's why they get 3. The crab cakes were delicious. Too much sauce around them but still very good. 4 stars. I also ordered the kind crab. AMAZING. HUGE HUNKS OF CRAB MEAT. Absolutely delicious. 5 stars. Last, the service was good. Wasn't spectacular but the waiters were nice. I might come back. But I think I'd go to a nicer place instead.

I'm the only seafood fan in our family but we had a coupon from the resort so I took them for lunch. Great time to go, very empty! Very nice looking place. Does have a playground to entertain the littles during nights with a wait. I had the seafood gumbo. Visually, well, if you went by looks you wouldn't eat it. But I tried it and it was tasty. Daughter liked it too. Bread at table was just garlic bread. Salad for hubby's meal was GOOD. Balsamic honey mustard was awesome!! Kids meals were average size but did have a drink. I had the firecracker shrimp appetizer and I liked it. Sauce wasn't overwhelming. A hint of sweet and spice but you could taste the shrimp over it. Good serving size too. Hubby got the grouper and had it blackened. He is very limited in his taste for fish. Said it was the best fish he ever had that wasn't fried and asked if we could make more at home. It was truly very good and we all liked it. Prices. For lunch it's too much. No lunch menu offered so be prepared. Entrees were most $25 and up. My soup cup was $6.50 and appetizer $9.99, so still a bit for lunch. Desserts were very good. Bananas foster didn't have rum sauce but still tasty. Key lime pie-great!!! Service was good. They all looked after the tables. We enjoyed our visit.

Great service from Maura. Crab spinach artichoke dip appetizer was yummy. Get the house dressing on the salad. Crab-stuffed mahi with crab orzo & asparagus was definitely the perfect choice! Our first time here will not be the last!

Very good meal! Had the Hemingway Snapper which was excellent! My friends ordered the stuffed flounder and the fish and chips which they both enjoyed. Every time I come here I know I am going to get a great dinner. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great food, Horrible experience, but the manager and Scott saved the day On vacation my family wanted seafood so we decided to try Landry's. IT WAS RAINING REALLY HARD on this evening so we were glad to be out the rain in a cozy restaurant. Our waitress was not the nicest, but came around to take our order. She seemed continuously in a rush which came off very rude. We had the crab cake appetizer and for my entree I had a shrimp po boy. Then the disaster We noticed the floor was wet near the table, then we noticed the ceiling was leaking in some spots. We alerted our waitress and she just blew it off like it didn't matter. The harder it rained, the more the ceiling leaked, eventually on my head by the time the entrees came out. This was very displeasing to my family so we had the manager over to voice our displeasure. THE MANAGER WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND TOOK CARE OF US FOR ALL THE PROBLEMS. Also another waiter, Scott, made up for the shortcomings of our original waitress. He really smoothed things over after a rough dining experience. So I commend the manager and Scott for saving the day.

Giant happy hour sign on the building. Sat down and waitress said happy hour is in the bar only. Moved to the bar and the bartender said happy hour ends at 4 pm. Now I can see why the Bahamas Breeze across the street is packed with people. Great music there too.

I'm not normally a fan of chain restaurants, but Landry's does an excellent job with seafood, and I've always had good luck eating at the restaurants in their chain. This particular Landry's is located at the intersection of Vineland Avenue and SR 535 in the Lake Buena Vista section of Orlando. You can spot this Landry's from I-4, and if you get off the interstate at the LBV / Downtown Disney exit (coming from Tampa) Landry's is staring you right in the face. We had a party of three, and they seated us quickly on a week-day night. Reservations are highly encouraged on the weekends, and if you're a fan of the Landry's restaurant family then I recommend joining their Landry's Select program which zips you to the front of the waiting list, and gives you points for dollars spent within any of their restaurants. By checking in on Yelp we were rewarded with a free appetizer of seafood stuffed jalapeno poppers which had Landry's seafood stuffing plus jalapeno Jack & cream cheese stuffed into a jalapeno pepper, deep fried, and then served over crispy onion strings. YUM! For my main course I had the broiled seafood platter which was grilled tilapia topped with jumbo lump crabmeat & mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce, along with a deviled crab served in the shell, plus shrimp 3 ways: broiled, stuffed with seafood stuffing, and scampi. That was all served with rice pilaf and grilled veggies. The service was excellent, and our server was very personable and helpful.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: very good CUISINE: Seafood ATMOSPHERE: relaxed, casual SERVICE: excellent SOUND LEVEL: Medium, conversation level CLEANLINESS: Excellent RECOMMENDED: Grilled Mahi is excellent, not too much seasoning or sauce so you actually taste the fish. CLOSING COMMENT: another very good visit, I would recommend Landry's.

Dinner was excellent. Early bird special is a great deal. Shrimp dishes are very tasty. One of the best salad bowls around with homemade honey mustard balsamic dressing. For dessert try either bread pudding or creme burlee. Service was attentive and Nick made sure we had everything we needed.

    1) I have the worst road rage out of anyone I know so this next statement really is quite remarkable: I might have to forgive the fact that this restaurant is in the touristy part of Orlando and brave the traffic to visit more often. *covers eyes and pops a Xanex... Or two* 2) There's this one woman who belts out the happy birthday song like it's nobody's business! She, yelpers, is the real deal. This is no regular happy birthday medley as sang by your off-key "framily" at your local Chuck-e-Cheese; it's more like one of those special requests you make from a real singer. Heck, I loved it so much I begged my dining partner to pretend it was her birthday just so we could hear it again. She wasn't having it though. 3) The happy birthday singing lady was my server! Score! She was honest about the tilapia not being fresh and provided excellent suggestions for alternatives. 4) The seafood stuffed shrimp! *cue the angels singing* Treat your taste buds to something nice why don't ya!

Three stars may be a bit rough as Landry's is a nice place and a great restaurant chain. But a few things blotted our otherwise decent dinner. We had a group of 9 come in for dinner. Our waiter seemed to be a bit bothered that only two of the 9 ordered drinks and everyone else requested water, and we did not order any appetizers. So he seems a bit put off to us initially, but we loosened him up a bit and he turned out to serve us well and earn a 20% tip. The number 1 thing that I thought was really odd was the cushioned tabletops, under the white tablecloths. Cushioned tables? Really? In a restaurant? Our tall water glasses never seemed to sit securely on the table and, sure enough, it wasn't long until one of them toppled over and totally soaked one in our party. We had to ask for assistance. This restaurant is nice and the food was good, but I did feel the prices were a bit high. Get rid of the cushions on the tables and coach your servers to be happy regardless what we order (he still got a $50 tip from us) and then we might be close to giving you five stars. P.S. We are Landry's Club members and fans of many Landry restaurants, particularly Claim Jumper (CJ's).

This was close and convenient so we went here. I thought it was fine but nothing special. If you're looking for a good meal, willing to pay a little bit more, and okay with a mediocre and generic atmosphere then this works out well. As for the food, I thought my fish was good and that it exceeded my expectations. Overall, I would say for the most part it met my expectations.

Succulent and flakey, with cream and garlic infused flavors made my mahi mahi divine. The moscato was a bit too sweet, but was still good. I went with three other ladies after a long conference day. Food was delicious and worth every penny. However, our service subpar, which ruined the experience. The appetizer arrived minutes before the main course, our waiter ever checked to see if our food was acceptable, and he showed us the dessert and said he'd be back in a minute to get our order, after he took our plates. 15 minutes later after trying to get his eye, I went to the bar for the check. Also, my girl ordered a skinny girl margarita using just tequila, ice, and some club soda and it cost $19.50, and obscene amount. When I went to the bar, the bartender asked if I'd go back to my table and the easier would get the check. When I said I just wished to pay here and now since I was tired, I felt out out. Great food, poor service!

We belong to the Landry's Select Club and had a Birthday reward that was about to expire so tried the Landry's in Orlando where we are visiting at the moment. We went around 6PM on Saturday and were seated with no delay - the place was pretty empty. The food was tasty although a bit overpriced but we felt rushed even though the place was far from full the whole time we were there. We were asked if we wanted to order within about 2 minutes of being seated, then when we did order our salad bowl arrived (delicious by the way!) and then our main courses (plank shrimp and fish and shrimp - both good) arrived 2 minutes later. We asked our waiter to take them back which he did but it was obvious they just put them under a warmer until we were ready. We then had creme brule and bread pudding for desert which were both good. Even though we did enjoy the food, we probably will not go back to this one since when we go to a fairly pricey restaurant we expect to be able t have a relaxed meal...

Terrible experience.. After our family of 4 ate at restaurants all around Disney Resort for 5 days without incident, we actually had to make a reservation for this place. Reservation was for 6:15pm and we were seated promptly. On our way to the reserved booth we were greeted by 2 servers who said "welcome to Landrys" and I was so delighted. It all went downhill from there.. At 7:26 I went looking for a manager so I could ask why we haven't been served our food yet and when "the Manager" named JOHN came to our table he completely blew me off, he had way better things to do apparently. Our meal finally came at 7:33, I ordered the Lobster Tail with side asparagus .. I cut into the Lobster and ate a piece, I honestly didn't think it tasted too bad but the smell was horrendous, it smelled like AMONIA .. I called for another Manager aside from JOHN. Another Manager came and I told him to smell the empty (lobster) tail shell... He agreed that it was obviously not good. Long story short, our entire meal was free and we all left. I only ate a side Caesar salad and the appetizer of Firecracker Shrimp which were both good. I will never be back to this place. Especially after I had to google why a lobster would smell like AMONIA and the answer harmoniously being that the lobster was dead to long before being cooked and is no longer fit for human consumption. Disgusting!! I passed by a long line of people waiting to get in this place and by the words of Gordon Ramsey "I felt sorry for all of them"

What a letdown. When you go to a place like Landry's you expect better than the Red Lobster, yet this outing was no different than a low end chain fish house. We came on night of the ICAST show (I brought two account managers) and other than the dessert there wasn't anything even decent. If you like Red Lobster and you consider that seafood, you'll dig this spot, too. For what they charge the food fell immensely short of basic expectations. Our calamari appetizer tasted like rubber, the mahi mahi was dry and tasteless and the service was poor. There no need to rant on about how poor the taste was, considering the other reviews seem to be spot on.

Went last night. Was good food. Not great but not bad. I little pricey for the quality of food though. Would rather spend an extra few dollars and go to a high end restaurant like Shula's, but overall it was good for the $ spent.

The Dining experience at Landry's was good throughout the meal until it came time to pay with our loyalty card. Not only did they accuse us of not activating our card(which we proved we did),the manager(James) compounded the situation by mis pronouncing my last name purposely and laughing about it. He went away with his tail between his legs only to send our poor waiter back with the corrected bill. First rule of team engagement is to lead by example, good luck Landry's we won't be back.

The food was perfect I love the restaurant I go there once a year for my birthday because it's very pricey but the coffee and desserts are to die for. Also the red snapper was excellent, you can really get any better! If you go you will really love it but make sure u have the money cause it puts a hole in your wallet.

Server (Lynn from Boston) was fantastic. She told us what was good and what wasn't her personal favorite. She chose well. The crawfish bread appetizer was awesome. Crawfish étouffée was rich but good. Salmon was alright. Trout was good slightly blackened and the NOLA BBQ shrimp was fantastic (don't be fooled it's not backyard BBQ....it's Cajun BBQ). Highly recommended. Nice restaurant with linen tablecloths which was tolerant of weary theme park goers.

Honestly, we came here because it was one of the only restaurants in the area that didn't have a 2 hour wait on a Saturday night at 9 pm. I was feeling like seafood, so I ordered the crawfish etouffee and was extremely disappointed. The rice tasted old, and the entree was just not fresh overall. My stomach hurt for the rest of the night. Pass.

Stopped here on a recent visit to Orlando. The food was good, the portion sizes were fair for the price and our server was very friendly. I normally avoid chain restaurants for a variety of reasons, but in this case it was getting late and we were tired of driving around. All in all it was a good meal.

Worst service ever! Mediocre food at best. $90 for two adult entrees. Server was completely inflexible for substitutions, including salad dressing! Even the manager disregarded our concerns stating they had rules (one drink per person). Ridiculous!! Will never go back to a Landry's.

Waiter was pretty good but food was not. Wife and I love seafood but didn't really care for it here. Scallops were so over salted you could feel the grittiness in your teeth like they spilt the salt shaker when seasoning them. We never send food back but had to here because it was not edible. They brought another plate and it was just as bad.

So this place totally surprised me! We went last week to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday. They had a hotel off I-Drive and I was thinking "well we are on I-Drive where all restaurants are touristy and horrible". However, I was wrong! This place was kind of more than decent! Our server was training a new server and somehow was still really slow. He delivered our appetizer without silverware and the drink orders took a while to come to the table, but since we were not in a hurry we overlooked that part. We ordered the pumpkin seasonal stuffed shrimp appetizer and were pleasantly surprised! From there we enjoyed a second appetizer of breaded zucchini that was good, not as good, but was a much larder portion. For dinner I enjoyed my stuffed jalapeno shrimp so much! Others at the table ordered the crab cakes and the cedar plank salmon. Also, I ordered the Coronita- Margarita and it looked horrible and touristy but again, was surprisingly great! My only complaint about the meal was the ridiculously slow service but each and everything thing we ordered was tasty. So if you are stuck on I-Drive and want something other than TGI Fridays, I would recommend Landry's!

We were in Orlando as tourists for Disney...but had dined at this Landry's about 15 years ago while we were visiting Disney the last time. The playground in the front is great for waiting parents but certainly does nothing for the atmosphere (which is very stuffy inside). We arrived and the restaurant was nearly empty but were quoted a 15 minute wait. We were seated within 5 minutes. I'm sure the hostesses could give a more accurate quote than that. The lined up tables with white linen table cloths were beyond stuffy and business-like. Very uninviting. The menu was very large yet I had a VERY hard time ordering from it. Nothing stood out to me and nothing sounded particularly appetizing - even though I love seafood. We had a 3.5 year old with us so we were both surprised and happy to have a balloon artist show up at our table. Definitely was not expected nor needed, it appeared (there was one other child in the restaurant)...but my son appreciated. We were surprised, however, that the balloon artist didn't know how to make a Mickey Mouse balloon, etc...LOL. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits...I would NOT recommend it. It was slathered in a red chunky tomato sauce and that is all I could taste. Salad & bread was good. Prices were WAY too high for what is being offered. We will not visit again.

Another Zero for Orlando. I used to live in Orlando for over 15 years, and I have been to this particular restaurant more times than I could count. Before their seafood was always fresh, tasty and their service was amazing, thoughtful and efficient. But my most recent meal was horrific. Their salad bowl came to the table with old stale vegetables, the carrots were precut and old, hard and inedible, the iceberg lettuce was tasteless, precut, the tomatoes were cubed and soft, along with the other varieties of lettuce being wilted and obviously bad. Finally they topped their salad with a honey mustard dressing that was more water than anything. When I complained about this, nothing was done, the server removed the poorest excuse for a salad that has ever existed. I also ordered their crawfish étouffée, which the rue was not done correctly, though the crawfish were ok, but not cleaned. Accompanied by their 'Dirty Rice' the entire dish was bland, and the server described the dirty rice incorrectly. A sad sad experience at what was once one of the crown jewels in Orlando dining. I notice on Yelp, that a number of people have given five stars and the average is 3.. I recommended this restaurant so many times in the past to close friends, business associates and family, but now I am embarrassed to have put my reputation on the line in association with this chain. This was my third restaurant disappointment in the O-Town. I guess the culinary demands of the locals has diminished. So sad.

I only gave this place 3 stars for the food. I'll keep this brief and you can decide on your own... I read some of the reviews and was a little nervous. This was a birthday dinner for family from out of town. Service was slow at best, we were there almost 2 hours with maybe a few other tables seated. However the only saving grace was the food. All app's and entrées came out hot and delicious... If you don't mind waiting then go... If you have somewhere to be good luck... You'll be late.

The boyfriend and I went to Landry's today for Happy Hour and enjoyed our experience. Since we were there about 4:30 it was a little too early for us to get entrees so we decided to do a few appetizers and drinks at the bar. We started with the Crab, Spinach and Artichoke Dip and I think we both decided that it was the best spinach dip we have had (says a lot since that is our go to app most of the time). He had a few Miller Light drafts ($2) and I had a couple margaritas ($5) although they could have been used with a little better of a tequila besides Pepe Lopez they were still pretty good. We then ordered three more appetizers off the HH menu: Fish tacos- the tortillas were a little greasy and I wasn't really a fan of the melted cheese between the two tortillas, they were okay but definitely wouldn't order again. Stuffed Shrimp Enbrochette- Large shrimp stuffed with seafood then wrapped in bacon... Need I say more? Delicious. We also had the Crab and Crawfish Boulettes- basically a crab and crawfish hushpuppy and I would have to say they were our favorite with the stuffed shrimp coming in close second. With all of the food and drinks we had I was surprised when it came to only around $40. It was a great deal and good service and can't wait to come back and try the regular menu. How I lived and worked a few blocks away from the New Orleans location and never went I have no idea.

Really good dinner tonite of Bar Trash app, blackened redfish and crawfish, and a bananas foster dessert. Great service and communication with bar seating. Thanks for the good food and service. Back to here 2 nights later for supper in the bar and had a mahi mahi dish. Was ok fish item. Salad dish was very average at best. I did not eat. Bread stix same. Side with my fish...same. I will not return.

It becomes apparent very quickly that Orlando sucks for food and every spot is for stupid tourists like myself. Landrys is stuck in the eighties. Leave your 8$ wedge salad and serve some great locally sourced food. When I get shrimp and grits I do not need it fried with dollops of tomato purée, keep it simple and do it right.

We went here for valentines day and a wedding anniversary........ With no reservation and the only place in Orlando with openings still -- and despite the so-so reviews, we decided to try out Landrys. I try to stay away from negative reviews, but after waiting 45 minutes for a "5-10" minute wait, we were ready to eat. Coming from New England, this food was carnival food on a white table cloth. I highly recommend checking out other restaurants in the area...... The fried baked shrimp was 95% batter and the salmon had no flavor similar to that of haddock/cod. What bothered me the most was the fact that my Caesar salad and baked potato came out AFTER I was done with my meal. At the end of the day I recommend checking out other options as there are plenty of other fine restaurants in the Orlando area.

I ate at Landry's for the first time during a recent trip to Orlando. I can't say I was overly impressed with it but it was ok overall. Firstly, the service was really slow. We arrived there just after 4:00p.m. & didn't get out of there until almost 7:30. But the waitress was really attentive & friendly. I was in a party of 5 & we ordered various dishes. I ordered the filet with mashed potatoes and a side of asparagus. I didn't really care for the asparagus but the steak and potatoes were fabulous. A couple of the plates that were brought out to my party were cold though and had to be sent back. The manager came over and offered his apologies and made sure the food was re-cooked and brought out hot. He also provided a free desert for the table to share. Even though I enjoyed my food I can't say I'd be in a rush to return to Landry's. I also think it was WAY over priced.

Food was great and the service was outstanding. It's not inexpensive, but reasonable, and food is quality. Our party ordered virtually everything...fish, pasta and steak. All were very good, and couldn't have been more pleased with the service.

Bad food, slow service and a strange decor make this an AWFUL AWFUL restaurant. SERVICE: Service was SOOOOOOOOO SLOW. The kitchen clearly was ready to go home. Our waiter was friendly but looked as if he had just had the crappiest day ever. Like his puppy died during his break. Either that or he was just so embarrassed by the rest of the staff's performance, he had a hard time remaining positive. FOOD: Denny's quality (or worse) at much higher prices. Stale crackers with gross oysters that were kind of slimy and likely the reason we were sick the next day. If you know your oysters are past their prime, just tell the customer you are out. Fried alligator was doughy and tough with some parts seeming to not be cooked through (could taste the flour) Alaskan snow crab is hard to mess up and thankfully they did not (though for the price, you could get these pretty much anywhere else) Awful coffee for $2.25 each. We told him thanks but no thanks after two sips and thankfully they removed it from the bill. Blackened snapper was ok but not for $25. I had the red snapper special as the Hyatt Grand Cypress restaurant and it was FANTASTIC at the exact same price. Tough to go to a place like this after so many nice restaurants at home. And even the exceptionally mediocre nine18 at the Villas of Grand Cypress was much better than this place. 130 for two with tip and no alcohol. DECOR: There is a really nice, almost romantic, center area with tablecloths and dim lighting. This is sandwiched between two areas with wood tables, crappy decor and the look of a Texas Roadhouse. BIZARRE!!! Like they had two designers working together and they could not agree so were given two different areas on which to work. OVERALL: NOT RECOMMENDED even to enemies. This place should NOT be in business.

Just one of those "ok" experiences. The lobby was empty when we entered the restaurant bed shortly after a wait staff approached us and asked how many in our party. We told him 3. He said there's a 15 min wait for a table....I looked around the lobby (which I knew was empty) and asked why was there a wait as we were the only ones in the lobby. He told us "because all the tables are dirty". He suggested the bar area if we wanted to sit immediately and we said ok, the bar area is fine. As we walked toward the table - he turned to us and said, oh that table is dirty also. He then cleaned the table and we sat down. We waited and waited - after 15 mins a wait staff walked up to our table with the menus, all the while talking to another wait staff. He then laid the menus on our table and walked off. Shortly after that another wait staff appeared and took our order. Our dinner was ok- nothing to return for. The server was nice and tried - we think his support staff was the issue.

We stopped at this place for the simple reason that it looked nice and they had a small climbing frame and play area outside for the kids. We knew nothing about Landrys other than it served seafood...it could have been an independent place other than part of a massive chain for all we knew. Anyway....we arive and are offered a very nice table. We ask for one of the tables looking over the play area so we could let the kids have a bit of a run around. Turns out that they're the bar area with free seating. It still offered the full menu so that was perfect for us; we were able to have a bit more of a casual meal and allowed the kids to run off steam without disturbing anyone else. The food was great. I tried po'boys for the first time. My wife had the mixed shrimp dish with three different type of shrimp with rice, pasta and fries. It was a massive dish and I was able to help her out. The kids food was tasy and fresh as well. It was my nine year old's favourite restaurant. The sweets were pretty good - creme brulee and cheesecake. Very nice indeed. A lovely find and one we'll return to.

Friday night and decided to head to downtown Disney for some food. Some how we ended up near Vineland where we stopped to eat at Landry's Seafood. The atmosphere was very as if we were in New Orleans. Our waiter, Valentine was friendly & so had a great sense of humor. The stuffed crab avocados were a great appetizer. My friend's broiled seafood platter was a feast for the eyes & taste buds. My Red snapper with crab etoufette was so fresh and devine. Dessert was a bananas fosters!

I don't know how people had bad experiences at this place. We had good food and great service. We sat at the bar though and the tables around it. I think sometimes the bartenders at restaurants give better service than at the regular tables.

We are tourists and wanted to try a local seafood restaurants. Our experience was much better than the average rating on Yelp. We had meals from the seasonal menu and both meals were fantastic. Cranberry pecan crusted Mahi Mahi and the Tilapia were very tasty. Great portions as well! We would give this a 4.5 stars.

Pleasantly surprised. I don't like eating at chain restaurants. I was alone on a Thursday night in the Orlando area, and wanted fish. I figured a seafood house would have some (I know... ingenious). Decided to eat at the bar... Very attentive bartenders. They smiled, they were helpful, and they provided every single customer at the bar (which was mostly full) a consistent experience. That's something I can appreciate, having done the job myself for a few years. Stuffed avocado. What? Really? Yes. And good! They cut the avocado around the pit into crescent pieces, put some crab on top, and then fried to create a thin crisp, bready layer around the each piece. Pretty good! Blackened Grouper was nice. Served with some broccoli and a fairly lame rice pilaf (it was more rice than pilaf), but the rice was still cooked very well. Overall I can't complain. On a lonely night looking for a seafood option, this place fits the bill.

Wifey doesn't do the seafood so I took the opportunity to use a gift card I had received for Landrys. Let me start off with the fact that $25 is not enough for the scallops entree, which was the only thing I ordered. I ordered it as take out and was surprised to find a take out charge, that neither the host or bartender whom I ordered from bothered to tell me. That is a real problem if you don't demonstrate this by telling the customer or putting this on the menu. So after paying 29 bucks for one entree, I was handed a Walmart plastic bag holding a plastic container with 4 scallops, seafood risotto, and blanched spinach in a cream sauce. I take my first bit and am greeted with the crunch of sand. This is what I payed almost 30 dollars for?! Overall, the only reason I give this place two stars is because of my gift card. If you want to charge a premium for food, please ensure the food is the highest quality and the highest execution. I'm looking elsewhere for seafood.

We visited Landry's after spending the day at WDW parks. We went to Landry's because we wanted seafood, I wanted crawfish étouffée and we wanted to stay close to Disney. Plus we are members of the Landry's Select Club and we have enjoyed other restaurants in the Landry's family (although this was our first visit to Landry's). The service was great and they had special menus printed for us (they knew we were celebrating a birthday). We all shared the salad bowls which were fine. We also had the Crab, Spinach and Artichoke Dip which was fine. Our problems were with the meals. The grilled and blackened fish were ok as was the grill shrimp. However, the crawfish étouffée was about the worst I have ever had. Now, I am from Lake Charles Louisiana, so I am used to great étouffée. But this was very soupy, had very little crawfish and was served with plain white rice. They did give us $10 off for doing a Yelp check in, but for $30 per person, I expected more than just ok. We were so turned off over the meals that we decided to skip desert. I plan to revisit Landry's as we really wanted to like it. Hopefully, in the future, the quality of the food will match the service.

Good food and nice quiet atmosphere! Service was a little delayed when asking for things but by no means slow. I love their value lunch menu which was much cheaper than their normal entrees but were just as good. Id love to go back again if I had the money.

In a city full of overcrowded mediocre chain restaurants with poor service, this is one of the better overcrowded mediocre chain restaurants with poor service. That the food was good gains it three stars. It loses one each for clueless kitchen with lukewarm food coming out, and one for the hapless people that they hire for wait staff.

So I will write a strange review on the service: the waitstaff was incredibly slow (it was all "the kitchen's fault," of course ... despite us arriving before the place filled up). And yet ... there's an element of service here that is totally worth your while. If you have young kids and Denzil the balloon artist is in the house, this can be one of the top highlights of your entire Disney trip. Denzil is AMAZING. Absolutely fantastic. You may have to have the patience of Job for him to get to your table (the man works his craft quickly and deftly, but he is in demand) but wow can he dazzle. He is soft-spoken but has a great family-friendly sense of humor for the adults too. But with the kids he is the real deal. He can make almost any Disney character (the Rapunzel he did for our daughter was just fantastic); when our 5 year old son wanted "a sword with a cobra wrapped around it" he didn't even blink and presto! there it was. The food was a bit pricey for what it was, but hey this is the Disney area. The food actually wasn't bad ... I wouldn't say the fish here is going to be confused with a high end seafood house, but with some of their house preparations (I had the mahi mahi with the "pontchartrain" preparation) it was fairly tasty. Not tasty enough to deal with the miserably slow table service, though. Kind of a hassle to get to (but then what isn't when you are driving around the Disney area? good grief do they have themselves some traffic), but if you are going off-property there are worse options. In the end, I would say call ahead and confirm Denzil is going to be there. Without him, this isn't really a special option in any way. With him, your kids are in for a real treat.

Many years ago my wife and I ate at Landry's Seafood in St. Louis and it was very good. So we decided to try the one in Orlando. We were not disappointed. My steak was very good and my wife had the Tilapia fish. The fish portion was huge and she really enjoyed it. The staff is great as is the style of the restaurant/dining room. Landry's owns the Charthouse chain as well as many other top chains and the Charthouse is always fantastic in Melbourne, Fl. You cannot go wrong eating here. It is not cheap, but it is also not overpriced in my opinion.

Service was great - prompt, attentive at the right points. Just had a quick bite to eat at the bar before heading home. Gumbo soup was okay (I felt it just wasn't up to par for them). The crab stuffed avocados (appetizer) should be avoided - first, it's not a good combo, 2nd it just didn't taste the best. I'll still go back but I would try something different.

I have been to Landry's at this location a few times over the past 5 years and had ok food. A bit overpriced for the quality of the food but the service has been good every time I have dined here. Wine prices are not bad (by the glass) but a Makers Mark Manhattan will cost you $11. Tonite I ordered what the menu called "Grilled Shrimp served with dirty rice & fresh vegetables" for 19.49. The shrimp were grilled and tasted ok but served in a pool of butter which was not stated in the menu, veggies were steamed broccoli and red peppers which tasted just ok, and the dirty rice was TASTELESS and wet and clumpy - not like dirty rice I have had in other restaurants. Started off with a wedge salad which was an upcharge from a normal dinner salad, dunno why...... Too expensive for the quality of the food, in my opinion!

My food taste great however I have to only give them two stars due to my waitress named Brenda. She was extremely slow, by the time she brought my food out it was so cold. It also took her forever to bring out salad water and extra napkins. If you go here make sure not to have Brenda wait on you.

Stopped here for a nice dinner after a long day at the park. It's a little 'fancier' than I was expecting. Nice white linen table cloths, beautiful interior, big picture windows. It is a little on the pricey side, but it's typical fare for a nice restaurant in the Lake Buena Vista area. The entrees were served with a family style salad which was tossed in a basalmic honey mustard. Very nice dressing and surprisingly refreshing salad after an adventure at the park. My brother ordered garlic bread for the table. It was good, but nothing special. I had the crab cakes for dinner which were served with a Parmesan risotto. The risotto was good, but I've had better. The crab cakes were absolutely delcious. Perfect pan fried light golden brown. No superfluous breading. They fell apart as I ate them, which IMO is how lump crab cakes should be. The mustard they were served on added a nice flavor but didn't overtake the integrity of the crab. I could have used a little more though. I didn't order a drink for myself, but I did try my sister in law's Signature Mai Tai: very good. And I sipped my niece's Pineapple Mint Ciprihaniani...quite tasty. The balloon man stopped at our table, but we passed on his talent, even though my nephew wanted to ask for a bicycle.

Worst food and experience. I only agreed to go there thinking kids want fish and chips how a seafood place can screw it up never crossed my mind.... Oh well!.................. Let's just not go there :) The worst thing is the manager was so weird, when he checked on us an I told him he is like is there anything else I can do for you! Yes you can offer not to charge for the shitty dish or you can offer to remake that crap!!!!!!!! We walked out! In the end when their bald manager is convinced their food suck and dodging the complain, why should I care..... I will find better places to spend my money on. This is the first and last visit to landrys. I should have read the reviews before.

Incredibly disgusting staff, service, and food. While on vacation, we made a SPECIAL trip out to Landry's JUST for their bacon-wrapped shrimp, since a server recommended it from Rainforest Cafe. I cannot tell you how disappointed we are. Servers and employees were rude, and neglected our entire stay there. They were too busy in their own conversations rather than interested in doing their job. I felt like at the time being, I knew every server's past, present and future, including: the girl's plan to go on a cruise with her boyfriend, the male server's opinion to 'be careful or you might get fucked.", and our server's past in the ghetto's of Puerto Rico. Amazing. And all I came here for was for some food! We got the bacon-wrapped shrimp, like I said. I ordered the vegetable tempura, and yes, I know..random: a side of fettuccine alfredo. We came here for happy hour and a quick bite. Did I mention? We got their at 3:35PM not knowing that they didn't open until 4:00PM. So on top of waiting 25 minutes for them to open in the parking lot, it took us 45 minutes to grab a "quick" bite of food and get served. Not to mention I felt terrible for interrupting their intense conversations just to ask for a side of sauce, or ask where my food was. Yeah, Landry's Seafood was an absolute waste of our money, and most importantly, our time that we can never get back again. Oh, and those bacon-wrapped shrimp? Not worth it, and not impressive--according to my husband. So if you're on vacation like we were, I wouldn't waste your time coming out to this spot, no matter who told you how great their food was. The service is so terrible, you'll be wasting your precious time over their ever-so-important conversations.

When I hear from the server, "hey you want to do me a favor and cut down the middle of that steak to see if it is done enough" - RUN the other way!!!!!! For a server not to have confidence in his kitchen staff is deplorable. Would not suggest, unless you seek out bland and expensive cafeteria style seafood. The stuffed shrimp were a soggy mess. The rice was overcooked (very starchy and sticky) and bland. The only thing that I found redeeming was the lemon that provided the only flavor in my plate full of sogginess.

Sorry ..mediocre at best. Overpriced for the quality of food. Vegetables served cold and dirty rice just no good.. Tasteless like instant! Service not poor but not great either. Table not cleared of dirty dishes. $14 for oyster bar trash appetizer ridiculously priced for the small portion swimming in butter and oil. Will not be back.

Landry's Seafood House started out in a residential house in Lafayette, Louisianna back in 1947. Now it has 23 locations, mostly in the south, and is part of a larger group with over 300 properties, including Chart House, Pesce, Cadillac Bar, Brenner's Steakhouse, Rainforest Cafe, La Griglia, and 30 other brands. The group also owns the Golden Nugget hotel and casino, in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada. Most children do not like Seafood. However, to give the parents some time to enjoy their food here near Walt Disney World, there is a balloon puppet maker who makes the rounds making balloon animals to keep the kiddies happy. For the adults, good seafood will make them happy. Landry's has a decent selection, with cold and hot seafood appetizers of the usual kind, about a dozen fresh fish choices, about 15 shrimp and shellfish choices, platters, pasta, and a few beef and fowl options. Most entrees are in the $20 - $25 range, and most are served with a house salad and bread. For appetizers, I had a half dozen oysters ($7.99), my partner had an American Caprese like salad ($6.99). Both were decent. My entree was Angel Hair with seafood ($17.99, with scallops, shrimps, mussels) and my buddy ate lighter with a Landry's Seafood Salad ($19.50 with salmon, shrimp, lump crabmeat). The food was solid and edible, but not memorable. A couple of glasses of Placido Pinot Grigio ($7.50) wetted the whistles. Landry's reminds me a lot and is similar to another southern seafood chain, Papadeaux's. Strong similarities in food, atmosphere, and service, but less blackened Cajun offerings.

Ugh... where to start.... Food = awful Service = awful Greasy overpriced food. The photos below look accurate - slop on a plate. Service was slow and rude. We were told they had 'run out' of blue cheese dressing, but I discovered otherwise when I eavesdropped on a conversation between a customer and the manager. Turns out it was rancid and sent someone to the bathroom vomiting, after which the kitchen realized it was spoiled and pulled it off the menu for the night. The only acceptable dish at our table was a steak, the other 5 of us were all disappointed with our seafood dishes. I found this ironic at a restaurant that has "Seafood" plastered throughout. I should have known better going to a place under the same ownership as the dreadful Rain Forest Cafe.

Went there while on vacation in Orlando on a Tuesday night. We came an hour before they were going to close. Service was excellent and did not feel rushed out. Our server was very attentive and took care of us well. The food was excellent not subpar as one might think going on a off peak night. The seafood was extremely fresh and probably the best we had throughout the whole trip.

Middling food at high prices. Portions of entrees were on the small side. Seafood gumbo was very salty and didn't contain too much seafood. Meh.

For our last night in Orlando, my friends and I decided to stop here for some good seafood. I had heard good things about other Landry's locations and wanted to check it out. The restaurant is nicely decorated and tables with white linen table cloths. Since we're in Lake Buena Vista, don't be afraid to wear shorts... you can go dressed just like you were at Disney all day. The price is about average for fresh seafood and the amount of food that you get. The menu is huge and there are a lot of choices. A couple things that are not clear: 1) Platters come with sides, and apparently the chef decides what sides you get (at least, that's what our server told us). 2) All entrees come with a family style garden salad. The house dressing is a balsamic honey mustard, but you can order ranch, bleu cheese, or a couple of other choices. After we ordered, Amanda, our server, brought out the salad mix out and offered to toss it with the dressing tableside, or leave the dressing on the side and allow us to mix the salad ourselves. The balsamic honey mustard dressing was pretty good and I recommend giving it a try. Soon after, our entrees arrived. The portions were pretty good sized for the price. I ordered the seafood platter and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of butterflied shrimp, stuffed shrimp, and fish on my plate. I also had a good sized portion of fries and onion straws. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. I couldn't even finish my portion! The dinner itself was great, unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We often were left wondering where our server was. Several times I had to wait for a beverage refill so I could continue my meal. One of my friends had requested additional cocktail sauce when the entrees were delivered. Ten minutes later, she still hadn't gotten any... and Amanda hadn't checked back with us. When she finally came around with some refills and to see how we were doing, we reminded her of the cocktail sauce. She apologized and said she forgot and promptly went into the kitchen and delivered some tartar sauce. Yes, in two minutes it took to walk back to the kitchen, we wound up with the wrong sauce. So, that is why I rated this visit a three star instead of four. If the service had been better, it would have rated a four.

I had a terrific lunch with my husband & our gaming friend. Our server (eek I forgot his name) did a wonderful job making sure our beer's & waters were full. Thank heavens for serving Yuengling. We had fresh oysters since they were having a really nice deal for a dozen & three house salads. Everything turned out very nice & our four dozen were more than enough for lunch mind you. I can't wait to return on my next trip to Florida.

Eh. The food here is very run of the mill and our service in particular was ridiculously poor. I had ordered a salad and soup while others were served on time, I got my soup but no spoon. I immediately pointed this out to our server, but he neglected to get me the spoon the first time as well as the second time we reminded him. By the time I got my spoon, my soup was cold (and not that good to begin with) and though he offered to bring me a new one, I wasn't interested at that point. I had a salad that had avocados and crab. It was just ok. Nobody at our table of five was blown away by the food or at that point, impressed. As the meal drew to a close my favorite waiter came back and managed to spill a FULL glass of water on me, my purse and all over the floor of our booth. He brought me ONE extra napkin that made a small dent in the flood I was now in. About a minute after our waiter had disappeared after spilling water on me another waiter appeared and asked if everything was ok AND IF I WANTED MORE WATER. I was shocked at such a stupid question. I told him I was good and then our waiter came back and informed us the doofus that just came to our table was the head waiter. Not only did the head waiter not introduce himself, he did not care at all how our meal was. Heed the warnings, don't go here. Don't go here because it's close or because somebody wants seafood. Take the time to check yelp or drive to a real place that will treat you well and serve you decent food.

Not open for lunch as advertised. Maybe on the weekend?

Pricey, weak menu, mediocre food. $15.99 is the cheapest entree (most range $20-$35). This would be ok if the food was top notch, but it is not. Do not expect crab, lobster, clams, etc...not here. Fish options and "fried seafood". (authentic seafood is not fried). Do expect a classy atmosphere, cold shouldered service, long wait for food, and a hefty check.

Not bad and they have a reward program that gets you $25 on your birthday

The only saving grace of this place was that the foes was good. Dinner took 2 1/2 hours without dessert! I don't know if we should blame the waitress or the kitchen, or both. It was sloooooow and they weren't very busy either. The high-pressure upselling by the waitress was non-stop and annoying. I don't know if it's her or if she was under orders by a former used car sales manager. Even after mentioning it to the manager, things didn't get better. I will NOT be back.

Wait staff has always been pleasant at this location. Their recommendation on entrée are spot on so far. Not cheap but not terribly expensive ( $100 for 3 entrees, one cocktail & 2 glasses of wine). I take my family here every time we are in Orlando.

The fried zucchini appetizer is a great starter because it's crispy and zesty but not too heavy, followed by the Chilean Sea Bass which is buttery and delicious! Skip the brownie and ice cream dessert, the brownie is really dry.

neither impressed nor completely repulsed. two stars. i came here for an early dinner. i was seated immediately and the server came over within a minute or two. i ordered a glass of wine and the angel hair pasta. wine -- fabulous. a bit pricey at $9/glass, but great great great! the food . . . not so much. the entree came with a house salad, which appeared to be a mound of iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots, and a few eeny weeny pieces of cucumber. this was topped with shredded colby and (some other kind of) cheese. not at all impressed. the entree, equally unimpressive. the pasta was a bit overcooked (maybe i should've asked for it al dente) and literally had practically no flavor. i had to put pepper on it. i'm not normally a huge flavor sensation kind of guy, but this stuff was really bland. the seafood was good --- healthy portion of shrimp, scallops (big!), and mussels. the service was nothing to write home about. my server literally only came over to take my order and bring me my drink. didn't bring me my food, didn't ask if the food was ok, didn't bring me my check, didn't take my credit card. so yeah -- not so hot on the service. really, this place is nothing to write home about. if i were standing right in front of it and got hungry, i'd go in. but if i had to cross the street for it, i'd pass.

Landry's is part of a large chain, so you can expect at least the foundation of a tightly integrated dining experience; attractive decor, wide menu selection, and so on. The way that the formula is supposed to work is that execution by the local eatery completes the package. Unfortunately, execution falls far short here. Service is pleasant, but weren't able to answer some fairly basic menu ingredient questions. The "I'll check" response works only if the waitress returns with an answer. Ten minutes later a different server appeared at our table, and the process started again (he knew the answer). The wait for any food from the kitchen was unacceptably long before appetizers appeared. They were overcooked, but worse, followed almost immediately by soups and salads. Our entrees weren't memorable, but were reasonably good; unreasonably priced for their ingredient quality. To the credit of our server, beverage glasses were repeatedly filled (without asking) during our waits.

Services leaves a lot to be desired. When you first walk in you have high hopes that your in for a good meal, but it's all downhill from there. I think there are many other places within less than a mike that will satisfy more than here.

I eat a lot of seafood, so I like to think I know what I'm talking about. I'm also from the Bay Area, where good seafood is plentiful. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner last week while we were on vacation. I ordered the seafood platter and he ordered the broiled seafood platter. The food was just so-so. I was not blown away by anything. And actually the fried oysters tasted really bad to me. Plus, the food here is a bit pricey. The service was VERY slow and I was quite unimpressed with our waiter. I had to ask for a glass of water twice. The salad took forever to come out, and it wasn't even that great. Also, the wine was totally over priced. They were asking $6 for a glass of SUTTER HOME. You can buy an entire bottle for that much. (Also, and I guess it's because I live near Napa and might be a bit of a wine snob, but Sutter Home??? Really?!?!) The best part about this meal was the guy making balloon creations, Denzel. He was AMAZING! He made a Darth Vadar mask, Buzz Lightyear and Harry Potter on a broom out of balloons!!!! Plus, he was super nice, very intellegent and quite funny.

meh. . . SInce this is apparently a N'awlins joint, I had the blackened catfish. The fish was fresh, but the pieces weren't all that thick. The spices had no distinct flavor. Maybe it's because they were swimming in butter. Service is barely better than if you were in a diner. In fact, if the waitress had been 30 years older, 40 pounds heaver, and called me "hon," I'd have gladly paid a third of what I did for a solid burger. I'd say it's high prices for food marginally better than what you'd expect at Ruby Tuesday. Use the car you rented and go downtown or to Little Vietnam.

The bar was set high after a positive dining experience at their other location in Destin, FL. All hopes were high that our evening at the Orlando restaurant would be just as enjoyable. Evening started off on a nice note. Our waitress was persuasive, but effective. Dianne knew how to convince us to trade up for the better entrees and appetizers. She took to calling us pet names immediately which was endearing to some and offensive to others. The men in the group liked to be called honey, while the women in the group didn't particularly like to be called baby or sugar. Nobody puts "baby" in the corner. While we had high hopes for the service, it did not live up to our expectations. After we put in our dinner orders and received our appetizers, we were ignored by the wait staff for what seemed like an eternity. We had ordered refills for 2 diet cokes (which Dianne had almost convinced us to order Captain and Cokes in place of), but our glasses sat empty until after the food was delivered. On the whole, Landry's food had high potential, but due to the lack of attention paid to patrons the overall experience was greatly tarnished. The food was decent but it took so long that by the time it arrived we were fully prepared to devour Dianne. Unfortunately, not only was the delivery much slower than expected, the accuracy of the delivered entrees left much to be desired. For example, one member of the party ordered the Mahi Mahi but recieved the Swordfish instead. When Dianne was confronted about her mistake, she claimed that the kitchen had run out of the Mahi Mahi, but the Swordfish was very "similar" in flavor and texture. This was all well and good, but Dianne failed to ask the patron if this was an acceptable substitute. Overall, the night turned out to be a disappointment. We were looking for good food and great service, but instead we ended up with our pockets empty and our stomachs less than satisfied. Thank you Dianne, and goodnight.

Excellent seafood and steaks. The decor is elegant, with quite a few pieces of yachts and other navy treasures adorning the walls. The service is attentive, friendly, and never pestering. Good for both romantic evening dining, as well as family dining.

Yuk..... Where should I start ??? ..We chose this place expecting nothing close to a corporate brand like "red lobster"...BIG mistake.I should choose wiser next time. Their menu on the web looked pretty impressive-they have no prices there though !!! It was close to our hotel and seemed pretty decent -white linens, nice music etc. First impression after walking in the dining area-food on the floor. Actually while we had our dinner I noticed a "lost" crab leg next to my chair.Nobody seemed to take care of it.After 25 min. when I had couple of glasses of wine and my aggravation level grew I point it out to the server. She just picked it up with her hands, gave me a smile and walked out like it is a normal thing. Somehow I felt like we are sitting in a time share presentation where your server tries to up sell u so bad, that u want to walk out. from the appetizers to deserts everything was pushed to make more expensive choice.ew....I think I have pretty fine taste to decide for myself. As an appetizer we choose the tuna (blackened sashimi) which was poor and the wasabi looked and tasted like sh....! For the entree we tried to substitute the Tilapia for the Grouper in "seafood grill plate" -22 $ .Guess what happened ? they offered to charge as for usual grouper entree and put an add on of shrimp and scallops from app. menu. !!! that would've made the entree more than 40$ Nice ,isn't it ? For a restaurant with what they claim to be you would at least expect some garlic bread and oil immediately what was also charged to our bill even though we had to ask several times (also average even when they said it was cooked to order)! They didn't have any sparkling or flat water "cause they were so busy" .total lie. Our server Joey didn't care about the service.Made a little bit of effort after we started complaining and spoke to the manager. We ordered an espresso and they tried to pull it as a superb gift to us when they presented 2 little biscuits with that ? All in all it looks like a nice restaurant with table linens but this place is not clean and mainly serve the tourists. They don't have many regulars which can be expected and therefor have an overpriced menu for quality of food and services. The highlight was the wine list and dessert. If I would choose again I would prefer Red Lobster even if they don't have white table linens :)))

Used to love the food but service was spotty. Recent visit both were really bad! Pity because the ambiance and outdoor kids area are favorites with our family, but never again

typical Landry's restaurant. Food good, waitress could have been more attentive, but they seated a huge party right next to the two of us. Shame on the hostess! And we had to ask twice if the Landry's coupon was applied - she forgot and had to check on it again. We start servers with a 20% tip and it's up to them if they keep it or not; she did not.

The decor says that this is a special restaurant. And our server, Christopher, did a wonderful job of making us feel very welcome. Oh yes, the food was very good! The clam chowder was excellant. And we both had the snapper Hemigway with vegetables that were grilled.Since most of Orlando caters to little ones (think Disney World) this is definitely a grown up dining experience- children are welcome, but the ones that were present were "all dressed up" and on their best behavior. It was exactly what we wre both in the mood for.

We had dinner here March 09, had a very good meal and good service minus the manager constantly screwing around with our server. We had Mark as our server and he was pretty attentive, served with a smile and had a good knowledge of the menu. The place was clean and there was plenty of parking in the lot and plenty of space between the tables on the dinning room floor. We had the Seafood platter and for an appetizer we went with the stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp. They were both great, the sauce on the stuffed shrimp had us hiding to lick our fingers but it was pretty tasty. The garlic bread was also a treat. I put this place on par with the Papadeaux restaurants but not quite McCormick and Schmick's. They print a new menu every few days as they get fresh seafood in. It gave the feel and smell of a real fresh seafood house. I also had the Sauza margarita which was quite tasty. although we enjoyed ourself and Mark our server helped with the good service, it just appeared as if the manager couldn't leave the guy alone. That's our take, if you're in the Orlando/Disney area, and you like fresh seafood, this place should serve you well.
