I have always enjoyed Johnny Rocket's in California, so I was happy to see the excellent customer service and wonderful modern diner experience was alive and well here in Florida. During our visit to the Millenia Mall, we decided to eat lunch at Johnny Rocket's. Our server was Nathalie, and she was fantastic. For whatever reason, I love the way the straws are offered when drinks are brought out, and Nathalie didn't disappoint. We ordered orange soda floats and cherry cola floats and burgers/fries/onion rings for lunch. I have always loved the way Johnny Rocket's cherry cola tasted, it's not like anything I have ever tasted anywhere else. The fries/rings came to us before the burgers and Nathalie made cute little faces with the ketchup for us. We nibbled on those then our burgers arrived. The onion rings and sweet potatoe fries were excellent. The the regular fries were ok. They were fresh, just not as good as the sweet potato fries and onion rings. The burgers were juicy and hot off the grill. I loved the char on the patties and the big juicy pickles. The kids got the smokehouse burger and hubby and I got the pastrami pretzel burger. I felt like the burger suffered from not having mayo, or not enough if there was mayo, but it just needed a touch more in the condiment department, but other than that, it was really good. We enjoyed our lunch, the kids could hardly finish theirs, it was so big. 4 stars, great service, great food, keep it up!!!

Sunday was busy, we waited for the line to go down and then waited ... and waited to be seated.. Once seated the server came over and took our order. We both got special burgers, and shared an order of Onion Rings. When the food was delivered, My table mate's burger was fine, mine was missing the bacon it was supposed to come with. Neither of us could finish our meal, and later that night, I didn't feel so well. Given that it was the only thing I'd eaten that day, I have to wonder if the food made me ill?

Great place and a great atmosphere. Had the pleasure of meeting owner / operator John and Sarah. Wonderful people and happy to have been waited on by Carlos! The food was great and I would make a trip to this place anytime! #happycustomer #topnotch.

It's amazing how one employee can destroy a places reputation. After ordering our food to go, we decided to stay. Since there is a sign saying "please wait to be seated" we explain the change of plans to the hostess, who then sat us down. Once seated Erick comes running from their open kitchen like we stole his Xmas present, speaking loudly and in a very condescending way, he kicks us out of "his" table. After the manager sees the embarrassing situation, the owner quickly becomes aware. Let's just say that if Erick was trained by the owner, I know where is lack of customer service knowledge comes from... Apart from that, they have great shakes !!!

Took a couple minutes to sit. They have a huge sign that says wait to be seated. Waited a good minute while some servers stood around . Server was very friendly however and the food is ok. It did come out fast. Burger patty was hot but bun was pretty cold. Shake is good and original burger also ok.

Came in with a friend 10 minutes before they close. The manager was very unpleasant. Her name is Lilliana. She would not serve us even though they were still open. Burgers were still on the grill and customers were still dining. But she gave us a nasty attitude and said we are done for the night. I explained to her that the hours of operation are 11 to 9pm and that it was 8:50. But she did not care. Another employee told us she will serve us but the manager told her she isn't allowed.

Do you notice how as time goes on the reviews here get lower and lower? This Johnny Rockets, or Juanny Rockets, has little flair or camp- and is basically run similarly to a Burger King you might find on Americana Blvd not too far down the road from this place. It's a shame too- because this establishment to my knowledge used to be a pretty spectacularly themed restaurant. This place has no dancing, no smiles, and no direction. Sour experience. Food wasn't up to par. Won't return.

Came in 10 minutes before closing after driving over 30 minutes to get food ToGo not even sit in and the nasty manager jumped on us as if I told her to keep the place open for 1 extra hour. They still had burgers grilling and to throw 2 extra burgers on the grill for loyal customers was too much for her. Very bad for a company like this to have a manager (Lilliana) with this mind set. Horrible customer service.

I love JohnnyRockets hamburgers. Worked the grill for 3 years when I was young and know how the burgers should taste. Well I'm sad to say this but it was probably the worst burger I ever had. It wasn't smashed look like a square frozen patty that was precook ed and saved for when needed no seasoning. Don't know how they cook their burgers cause I couldn't see the cook cooking was seated around corner. But trust me it wasn't a Johnny Rockets Original. Don't know if this is a franchise or corporate store but it's not up to JR standards that I'm use to and I love JR. The caramel salted shake was awesome though. Get it together guys..

Great place. I've eaten here many times since moving to Orlando in March & would not have come back if I didn't have a great experience. Today Erico gave great service. I've eaten at Johnny Rockets in different states, including the original on Melrose & have rarely been disappointed.

Hey I'm the first!! OK I know it's just a burger chain, nothing fancy you understand but walk in here and you step back into the 1950s! Serving mainly burgers and shakes, you know exactly what's flippin' on the grill. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. All that was missing was my gal, my 1955 Buick Roadmaster, my T Birds leather jacket, a tub full of hair grease, Chuck Berry on the radio and a lively "well er, well er" sneer! Anyway, back to 2010! Located just inside the Millenia Mall, the brightly lit interior is adorable - a duke box selector on each table (not working!), red leather imitation benches, silver napkin dispensers and the smell of freshly grilled food aplenty. My ice cold milkshake arrived first. Served with a whirl of fresh cream on top - it was simply delectable! Next my cheeseburger and fries! They were OK! Despite that, the service was impeccable, polite and attentive! Slightly expensive at thirteen bucks - guess I was expecting a 1950s price list but hey you can't have everything. Go now! What you see is what you get! I swear I saw Olivia Newton John and John Travolta....nah it couldn't have been!!

We dined here today after a long day of shopping for Easter outfits followed by Easter Bunny pictures. Needless to say, our kids were starving by the time we sat down. We were quickly greeted and sat by a friendly gentleman. We ordered burgers, sandwiches, fries, milkshakes and a Sunday. The food was great but the service was fantastic. Our servers name was Thiago and he really made us feel like we were in a 5 star restaurant. He quickly met all of our requests and was friendly and genuine the entire meal. We will definitely be back when visiting millenia.

What a horrible restaurant. We had no server for 10 minutes. Our cheese fries were mostly cheese sauce. Management there needs to take a class on organization. This location made me realize why there are few Johnny Rockets in the Orlando area. Go elsewhere. There are tons of choices at the food court.

3 Stars on the food; 4 Stars on the wait staff service. 1 Star on the entire experience. We had a good meal. Hot Dog, Kids Hot Dog with fries and a Burger with fries and drinks around the table. Cost $35. Reasonable. We (which means I) forgot our 21 month old's Reusable Sticker-book. $10. I called the restaurant after my wife let me know I'd forgot something. The nice lady there found the sticker-book and had the manager set aside. Whew!! What a relief. I got there just after opening the next morning and the folks There couldn't gong the book. The lady (Manager) at the end of the bar (ignoring the conversation so far although she was 5 feet away from me and the restaurant was empty) said that she threw it away. One of the workers pulled it out. It had some liquid permeating the cardboard and what looked like grease from the grill on the front. The young guy asked if I wanted it. I said that I would not let my son use such a dirty thing. The manager was no help and said shy tossed it when she got in. Never going there again.

In the mood for classic, greasy-burger dining? This is the spot. Perhaps I'm partial to them because they have a Tillamook cheeseburger, but that's the thing -- they aren't the common burger joint around here. They have unique combinations and a retro feel. Plus, they wait on you, which is a nice change of pace now and again. Granted, it's an odd location, with most seating inside the 50s-themed restaurant and a few tables "outside" in the mall food court. And the meals, well, they're heart attacks on a bun. But every once in a while, you just have to live a little.

Dear waitress with the unsightly underbite, Sorry for inconveniencing you with our unreasonable demand to sit down at your eating establishment. We were only following the sign at the front that said "Wait To Be Seated." No need to throw down the menus and walk off in a huff. You're lucky that Little Mr. Sunshine ended up being our server. Any more attitude from you and we would've ended up reinacting the switchblade scene from "Rebel Without a Cause." How's that for 50s nostalgia?

I visited here while on vacation and really liked it. The server, Nathalie, was great. I had the Original burger and fries. The burger was excellent; the fries were neither good nor bad, but the ketchup for the fries in the shape of a smiley face was interesting. There are no Johnny Rockets locations in northern New England (where I'm from) so it was a good find.

If I was able to give zero stars I would...this was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. We stood 20 mins just waiting to be seated while employees including the manager walked by and said nothing. Not to mention they had 3 tables available for guest seating. After being seated we waited another 15 minutes before even being greeted by a waitress who was also very rude and not apologetic at all. Once she took our drink orders which were just two waters it took another 10 minutes for her to return (we were the only ones seated in her area) We then received our food 30 minutes later the fries were great but my burger was no where near what I ordered. Seeing that our waitress never came to check on us I had to bring my burger to the manager after trying to get his attention for another 10 mins...after finally getting his attention we then waited another 30 mins for a new burger. Out of all this going on no one once apologized; instead I over heard the waitresses talking about all the customers and how they were being rude. Every customer in there was waiting ridiculous times along with having other problems, of course we're all mad. Especially when everyone including the manager is just standing around. Never again will I eat here!

We stopped here for lunch on Black Friday in what seems like forever. I don't usually frequent places like this anymore since cutting red meat out of my diet but I sacrificed and let my husband pick this time around. They were packed so we were seated at the counter. From the moment we ordered until we left, we were lucky enough to get flawless service. They did have non burger options so I opted for the chicken fingers and my husband and I shared the fries and onion rings. The servings were plenty and I still had leftovers. It was neat sitting facing the guys working the grill. No scary stories to report here. They were very professional, had gloves on, etc! Would gladly come back if I wanted less of a "food court" experience.

The food here is very tasty. I usually get the #12, chili cheese fries, and a vanilla coke. Great old school burger joint.
