While visiting the nick hotel for the weekend we ordered pizza twice and it was great. It is a small pizza shop with an owner that is proud of his product and our family tasted why. You cannot dine in here as it is pickup and delivery only. We did not know they do not open till 5pm, glad we waited and called back after 5pm to order. When we come back to the nick hotel we will be ordering from here again. Just get the 18" if you have a family as the 14" probably will not be big enough.

Listen to all the other reviewers ! We are literally staying across the street and were burned out from the park and it started to rain. Pizza after a long day and swimming sounded perfect. The owner was "eccentric" but whatever. We paid $32 for an extra large pizza that's actually the size of large. The pizza was not bad not bad with the toppings. We got half cheese and half jalapeños, feta, black olives, and mushrooms. The guy in front of us asked for parm and hot peppers. When we asked for that he said he puts parm in the sauce and he doesn't have any and gave peppers in a piece of foil. Wth... Seriously man you just made almost $200 from 2 Effinf orders and you can't buy plastic cups with these condiments ? Just go to Pizza Hut. Trust me I always give a place a benefit of the doubt. However, this place just did not meet even the lowest of my expectations. The owner is better off selling the jerseys and leather jackets randomly on the rack of his 6x6 pizzeria.

You know I never have eaten here and never will. I called to ask how late they were open they said don't worry about it. So I asked them to deliver and they said no worry and I asked their specials (given this is a pizza place they should be used to this question) and the guy rudely said our special is we are open you should be lucky. Then he asked how many pizzas we wanted I said 2 large and he said after 11 he wasn't delivering anything less than 10-20 pies. Their special should be a going out of business one with service like this.

Portion sizes were just a little small. All in all it wasn't a bad pizza. We were thrown when we walked in the place and saw the other items for sale, burnout mia Orlando. Order up a size!

The pizza was not great, but I can't say I did not expect it. It is a very small place with no seating room. The owner is super nice and we had a nice convo, but it did not make up for the food. First off, the pizza is extremely overpriced, the 16" pizza we got was nearly 17 dollars! It was better than a normal chain restaurant pizza like dominos but still was not a good pizza. If you are really in need of some pizza, go ahead but it won't be memorable or light on the wallet.

Two and a half stars. Pizza Joe is very appreciative and friendly and claimed to be the best pizza in town, but we can't be too sure of that. If the pepperoni pizza didn't have pools of oil on top it might not have been half bad. This place is take out or delivery only, there's no seating inside. There's one small table with two chairs right outside the front door though. Probably won't be back.

Ordered a pizza, one minute later read these reviews and called to cancel. He got upset and proceeded to spew vulgarities on the phone. Horrible, terrible, nasty service. When we called to place an order and originally said, "Delivery," he proceeded to sarcastically respond, "I bet it is." Finding someplace else.

Worst worst worst wings I've ever had. He claimed that it was New York style. Coming from North East myself, I was disgusted by the wings. I'm one of those who always finishes foods regardless how bad it is, but I really had to throw away 10 bucks I spent for this. The wings were wet, the sauce tasted like frozen wings I buy from grocery (it might be actually just one of those). With how wings tasted, I would not bother to try its over-priced pizza. The pozza prize is the diameter x $1. So 14" pizza will cost 14 bucks, and 18" will cost 18 bucks. To be honest, 7-11 food next door was much better than here. The owner seemed to be nice and would keep talking about hiw people love his foods, but I really think he's just a marketer.

We called once and were told we weren't in the area, and were told we needed to order at least forty dollars worth of pizza to be delivered to, since we aren't in the delivery area. After checking to see that they were five minutes away and in the same zip code (which we gave them the first time), we called back, but were hung up on after we gave an address. We called a third time to speak to a manager, were told we were talking to an owner (who spoke to us as well the first two calls, presumably). After arguing with us brusquely, in a way I've never had any kind of manager talk to me before, we were told he "didn't want to delivery to us" and hung up on. ALL WE WANTED WAS A HUGE PIZZA WITH PINEAPPLE. We're both college students who work in the service industry, neither of us gave them a hard time on either phone call, aside from being confused on logistics of where we are, since we are new to this area. I wish we could have tried the pizza at all, but the horrible customer service has unfortunately kept that from happening.

Got this delivered to the All Star Sports Resort on vacation a few months back. We ordered a pizza, buffalo wings, tiramisu, and a cannoli. According to some yelp reviews, this place supposedly imports their desserts and wings from NEW YORK.. I don't know if that's true but I went ahead and ordered it anyway. The delivery guy had me meet him at the hotel lobby and took cash only. Overall the food quality was pretty good. The pizza was super greasy and definitely soaked the cardboard box it sat in. The buffalo wings were delicious. (We didn't want to pay extra for the ranch/blue cheese so grabbed some from the hotel cafeteria instead! We were college students!) My girlfriend is definitely a wings aficionado and she gave these wings the thumbs up. The tiramisu and cannoli were very good but a bit on the pricy side. The value for food I would say is a bit average but with being on vacation and not having a car, one must pay a premium for such deliveries.

As Ryan W. points out....great pizza. Most times when relaxing in the Kissimmee area...I choose this place for pizza over others....why...? No nonsense pizza, owner is appreciative of your business and that matters to me. Make this place your stop for pizza if you can. This is a take out only facility, there is no real seating available...

Good pizza but these guys messed up the order. When we called to fix it, they promised to send our driver back with the right order and he never showed. Called the manager the next day, said he would call us back; he never did. Avoid this place.

Pizza was average. Nothing to talk/rave about. I will let everyone know that the price of this shop is Price gouging all the tourist. I am a local to Kissimmee and can tell you that his prices and his size categories for his pizzas are ripping people off!!! FYI- I am not comparing this shop to you pizza huts, little ceasars or papa johns. I am comparing it to all the other mom and pops claiming to have NY Pizza. Example of prices/size: 14" large in his shop goes for $13.95. 16" large other shop goes for $9.75!!! BIG DIFFERENCE!!! 18" XXL his shop $17.95 18" XL other shop goes for$10.70!!!! Start Yelping!!! The ONLY reason this place is still in business in my opinion is the location. And the high prices! I won't tell you to not go to this shop. I'll let you decide for yourself how much money you want to throw away!! Just in case your wondering the other shop I'm referring to, It's another hole in the wall that actually serves you plenty of good food for your money... Their is no delivery. Only pickup. Here' s the place.... Al's Pizzeria 407-935-0063. Enjoy Your vacation!!

Guy threatened me, used multiple vulgarities and kicked me out of his store after I asked for an itemized receipt. Can't review the food but sure can report the guy in the shop was out of control. Got a refund and left.

I'm vacationing in Orlando this week (26/07/12). I discovered this place while I was staying at the Caribe Royal several years ago. We come to Disney twice a year and have always ordered 2 or 3 times during our stay. Yesterday I ordered and decided to pick it up as it is a hastle to get delivery to a Disney resort. When i got back to my starving family I discovered a burnt pizza on the edges and it was burnt on the bottom as well. I phoned him and he said to bring it back. I did....he looked at it and said "around here we call that well done. Begrudgingly he made us another...smaller sized as well. He does have an attitude! The second was nothing like we ordered....we threw it out!....Never Again!!!!!!

Ordered the calzone with sausage, $9. Small even for one person. No pizza sauce inside it, just some mozzarella and some white stuff - what is that stuff anyway??? Not very good and overpriced. Had the pizza on another occasion. It was better than the calzone, but not my much.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
