My colleagues and I were at the hotel for a conference and had dinner here one night. As Sunday Night Football was on, we wanted to be near one of the big screen TVs. We talked to the hostess and she was a little put off by us asking to be near one of the TVs which I guess is bar seating where you seat yourself. So we sat ourselves which was fine. We ended up having a great waitress. Came by often to check on us even though she was very busy. We had a variety of appetizers - waffle fry nachos, mini hot dogs wrapped in bacon, fried cheese, to name just a few of things we had. Everything was very good and different. Not your normal appetizers. The place has a nice atmosphere. Good sized bar with lots of TVs and regular tables too.

David's is one of those hotel restaurants where you arrive to the hotel, everything in the area is closed and you say, well, David's is the only place open, should we just try there? Well don't, order room service, go down the street, go to bed hungry, just don't waste your money here. I tried two items, the fried green tomatoes and the shrimp and chorizo flatbread. The tomatoes were nicely fried, good sweetness to it. Where it falls short is the dressing. I was hoping for their version of ranch or a zest to it, not some Hidden Valley Ranch out of the bottle. Nothing against Hidden Valley, it's just dressing that I have at home, not one David's should be serving. I expect more. Don't bother ordering the shrimp and chorizo flatbread. This dish took me back to the old commercial, "Where's the beef?" Seriously, there was a paper-thin slice of "what they call chorizo" underneath each piece of shrimp, like five or six shrimp. After eating several slices, I thought they forgot to include the chorizo until I picked up the piece of shrimp and saw the tiniest thinly cut slice of chorizo. I can't imagine this being made on the premises since it was perfectly round (store bought). They could have at least chopped it up and sauteed it. Some of the seating areas are not conducive to eating either. They do have adequate seating, but if you want to sit by some of the TV's, you're on couches reaching for the table of food.

During my hotel stay, I came here for dessert with my kids. We always come to David's after our night out for a night cap and some pool games. It's a relaxed atmosphere when wanting to wind down or stay by the hotel to eat. They have a pretty big bar and two pool tables...which are free to play. That's a plus! Service has always been good here. I only gave it three because I was shocked at how much they charged me for my Irish Cream Coffee. I was floored. Usually everything is very reasonable including the food prices. I understand that when you eat in the hotel, chances are you'll pay more. I paid $14 for one coffee!!!! I don't even pay that much for a Cpt and coke there, and that has more alcohol content than the Baileys! I thought it was absolutely ridiculous how much that coffee drink was. I've had every dessert they offer there and so far the Strawberry Shortcake is my favorite:) But needless to say, I won't be ordering my coffee drink there again and I'll make sure to get it at the restaurant I had just left before I come here. Wow!

Some friends of mine and I ate here because we were staying at the hotel. Dumb idea. There are so many places to eat in Orlando near here. The menu was very small. For evenings it's got about 3-4 appetizers, 3 salads (none of which offer chicken or anything on them), a few sandwich options and a few entrees. I was STARVING and made the mistake of ordering the chicken. It was about the size of one chicken thigh, a small maybe ice cream scoop size of potatoes, and about 3 brussel sprouts cut in half all with a little gravy over the top. Granted it was tasty but after spending $26 (including the soda and tip) I was still hungry:( The sandwiches that some of my friends ordered were much larger and more filling but again, almost a 20 tab for a soda and sandwich and fries. The food is good but not really worth the price. I recommend going out if you are staying at this hotel. There are lots of amazing restaurants within walking distance:)

The 3 stars come from having an incredible waitress, otherwise it would've been a 2. The menu is very limited and not much of it's option really spoke out to me. Just like any other hotel restaurants, the prices will leave a dent in your wallet. We came here twice because it was so convenient. First time here I had the chicken quesadilla. It was really good but left me still hungry. The second time around I had the ribs.. That was messy delicious. I could not finished it. The meal was too BBQing for me.. It came with beans that was also the same taste as the ribs.. Just too much.. Now they have this POKE taco and of course all the Hawaiians love it.. So I would recommend that for people who love raw sushi.

Man. This place was awful. Perhaps my review is a bit colored by the fact that I was travel-weary and SUPER hungry--but the hungriness would have traditionally boosted my review (as ANY food would have tasted very good at the moment). When my co-workers and I stopped by David's in the Hilton, it wasn't terribly busy nor was it completely empty. What it was, was LOUD. The music was blasting right around dinnertime, and it wasn't like it was a nightclub atmosphere or anything; people were just trying to eat dinner. We had to shout across the table to hear each other. Service was exceptionally slow. It took about an hour to get our food (basic burgers/flatbread) and that was after we ordered. It took a good half-hour for our waitress to pay attention to us. Even then, she made us shout our order instead of, oh, say, moving around the table to each person. When it was time to get our bill, we had to flag down two other people who were not our waiters to try to get our waitress's attention. I don't think they actually told her we were in need of attention or anything, but doing something about it made us feel a bit better. It was another 20 minutes until we could get our bill (from the time we had originally requested it directly from the waitress). The food was just okay. My flatbread was a salt bomb. I really wanted to eat it because I was exceptionally hungry...but it just wasn't worth it. My co-worker summed it up perfectly the next day when we considered going to David's again out of necessity (trapped in the hotel, what can I say?): "The food isn't worth having to shout."

My company and I were staying at the Hilton for a convention, and this was the restaurant we tried out the first night of our arrival. The restaurant is very open, pretty loud with the chatter and music, and the servers were all dressed in sports-themed tops. I had the Chicken Chop, which came with grilled skinny carrots and asparagus (both good). The chicken was seasoned slightly but a little dry halfway through - so I added a little bit of hot sauce which make it... well, buffalo wings. Service was top notch here.

Amazing service and genuine concern about all their customer's! I came for a landmark education weekend and they were amazing!

Based on taste and service I would give this place three tars but since I ended up puking everything up that night, I have to take a star away. Got a burger and buffalo wings for an app. Simple stuff. Tasted okay but again, I puked my brains out so be careful.

I ate here two nights in a row (when you're at the resort without a car, your options are limited), so clearly I thought the food was good. My first experience was on a night when they weren't very busy, and the food and the service were both fine. Once they got a crowd, as they did on the second night, the service got so bad that I left after the appetizer. Because I was traveling alone, they insisted that I sit in the bar, where the only seats are tall and uncomfortable. Despite multiple requests to be moved to a two-top in the restaurant--to a table that remained empty the entire time I was there--the manager refused to let me move. In fact, he got pretty rude. Hey, I get that they want to save the two-tops for couples who'll spend more money, but they just need to be up front about it and not force a single diner to eat at an uncomfortable bar table.

We got there late and I was expecting to be eating bar food. It was a pleasure to find the restaurant was still open and serving food past midnight. We ordered the quesadilla and while it was good, it was certainly not what I was expecting. Portions were definitely small. My main course was the burger, which was definitely the right thing for me to order. I went back the 2 nights later and tried to get something taken up to my room but turned out that they don't deliver. The bartender was nice enough to let me know that they were running 30 minute wait on food even for take out.. which saved me 30 minutes of sitting in a loud, noisy space with a musician playing music just a bit loud for my tired ears. Over all I'd recommend.

This is a sports bar-themed restaurant in the new Hilton Orlando, claiming to be a gastro-pub. The food isn't very exciting and the servers are completely disorganized. If you're at the Hilton and you don't have a car, you'll probably end up here at least once. It's not bad and once the place has been open for a little while, it might be okay. But it's a typical restaurant in a Hilton. It's okay if you don't feel like going anywhere and your expectations aren't very high.

This review is for the bar only. I stopped at this hotel bar for drinks two nights while I was staying at the Hilton Orlando. Their craft cocktails on the menu are excellent. I would highly recommend he cherry smashed. The bartenders are very knowledgable and offer efficient service. This is a great stop if you are interested in a drink (the desserts look good as well).

Over priced sub par food need to work on quality not presentation. $4.00 cup of coffee and dry strawberry shortcake with semi frozen strawberries Some of the reviews here are 2 and 3 yrs old menus has changed some of the reviewed items no longer on it. Slow night took longer than it should have for there pub burger. Friend showed up after I got mine he ordered the turkey burger and it took longer and fries were cold Yelp needs to remove outdated reviews and pic of menus that don't exist

Came here for MegaCon 2015. Since I stayed at the Hilton, I wanted to check out their mid-level restaurant. Naturally it was busy on the weekend where multiple events were going on, but the wait time for a table was only 10 minutes at dinner time. Food: I got fish and chips, my girlfriend got the Moobowski (+1 to creative naming) burger. Both were solid, no complains all around, and -almost- worth the inflated resort hotel price ($16 and $15 respectively). Portion size was huge for my fish and chips, I actually couldn't finish-- because I always try to leave room for dessert. Ended up getting the Beeramisu (again more creativity points). It was pretty tasty, right amout of sweet and bitter. I should note they also have a sushi menu, but I did not try anything from it. Service: 5 stars!! We had one of the best servers I've ever encountered in Ms. Yana. Professional as can be, very accomodating while being sincere. I'm even going to write to the Hilton to commend her service. This is in spite of slow food delivery, she just handled everything as well as one could. We mentioned that our second dessert tasted a bit too bitter (another alcohol involving treat), and she comped it without us even asking. Environment: nice and clean, typical modern hotel restaurant look. I was impressed by the overall cleanliness and look of the Orlando Hilton, from the drop off area and lobby, to the hallways and bathrooms. If you are a Hilton Honors member, you should receive a 15% discount card from the front desk that works at most of the hotel-associated vendors. It definitely applied to David's Club Bar & Grill!

I came for a first time to Hilton Orlando hotel, I really like how the hotel room look and how I being treated till now. I was very hungry I decide to eats at this hotels restaurant what a good deduction I made, because the service is wonderful and the food is amazing thanks to my waitress ceb

I was really disappointed in the food & tract that all the servers on the floor hovered around staring into our booth. Very uncomfortable when you are trying to poke some calamari in your mouth. Food was not impressive, overpriced (yes I know it is in a hotel) & a tad greasy. Not a lot of choices by the glass. We actually stopped at starters & went to RA Sushi..

Our first afternoon at the hotel and we were starving. Unfortunately, the Bistro closed early that day, so we ate here. It was quiet and the food was good. TVs were turned on to sports games and there were areas to sit if you were only interested in having a drink. Our server was attentive, food was tasty, and it works for a quick hotel meal.

Came to visit Mickey. Stayed in the Hilton Orlando. First night we were tired from driving all day so we wanted to stay on property to have dinner and drinks. We decided upon David's Club because we liked the sound of some of the items we saw on the menu and wanted a casual atmosphere. We walked in and were promptly greeted by a hostess who allowed us many options for where to sit. We decided on a table in the main dining room right in front of the new 9 screen TV wall - I really want one of these at home! We were then greeted by our server, Melissa. She was very pleasant and offered guidance on the menu. The cocktail and beer selection was fun and eclectic. Must try cocktails: The Original 1944 Mai Tai and The Repo Man. We ordered salads to share as well as the Bleu Chips appetizer along with Meat Loaf, Hash and BBQ chicken pizza. All of the food was exceptional. The service was excellent from Melissa and also from Rachel, one of the managers. If we lived here, we would definitely be regulars. If you are staying at the Hilton or are a local, give David's Club a try. They have a new menu coming out next month and I'm sure it will be creative and delicious.

My first night in Orlando and no car, so David's was the only spot to eat. The other was the restaurant by the pool. I went and checked it out and returned to David's. I had the fish and ships. It was an entire haddock. I was very, very good. It was lightly battered just the way I like it. The dinner fries are huge. They were a bit over done, but they were still good. I also ordered a mojito. WOW! It's the best ever. It's even better the the #1 mojito I had in Cabo San Lucas. Service was good. The waitress was attentive and would come by and check to see if I needed anything. The dinner crowd had not arrived yet, so not busy at first. However, as I ate my dinner more people were arriving, and it did get a bit noisy in the restaurant. It is an large open space with various seating choices. For example, booths, tables and chairs, bar, and lastly, lounging chairs in front or near TVs. Dessert was strawberry shortcake served in canning jar like container. Delicious!

Good place to go and relax for late night drinks. They also have televisions at the bar, 2 pool tables, cozy sitting areas, standing areas, and outside seating with fire.

Like some of the other reviews, this was the only place available at the time we got in. Was kind of leery of the limited menu, but was pleasantly surprised with mine wings. Service was good considering how busy they were.

Spent an evening here with colleagues after getting out of a conference. The service was TERRIBLE! Our waitress literally started walking away before we were done with our orders. And she was tough to nail down at other points in the night. THe food was okay. Two of us had the california roll, which is made with quinoa and has an interesting and earthy flavor to it. My colleague had the wings. This was probably the best dish at the table! THe wings were sweet and sticky, but not cloying. THere was an umami flavor to them that balanced out the sweet. I also had a nice green salad. It was made with some microgreens which made it interesting and bitter. Overall, it was a decent place.

This place was great. While staying at the hotel for a work event, I sat at the bar and had a burger with two beers. The burger was phenomenal. I was really impressed and let's face it, it's hard to make a burger impressive. The staff was great too.

David's Club Bar and Grill is located inside of the Hilton hotel by the convention center. The menu is less diverse and has changed since last year. Additionally, it is much more expensive!!. It is $19 for a burger and $15 for a turkey sandwich. The food was tasty and service was superb but not worth the cost. I would recommend people leave the hotel if they can and eat elsewhere. They will get much more bang for their buck. Even room service has a more diverse menu!

I came to Orlando for the day and had dinner at David's club. The Korean short rib sliders were amazingly delicious! The bartender, Ashley was awesome! She was very nice and accommodating and made sure I was taken care of. Great service!

Stayed at the hotel that this place was located in... so I became very familiar with this place. The pub burger w/ 1 patty & fries was one of the tastiest meals. Mainly b/c after having conference food anything else is like steak! Another night I had the wings and salad...pretty good. Another night I felt like the menu was so small that i didn't have any options so I had half a burger with salad. The waitress' were all very friendly and made the experience better. I would probably give them more stars if the menu was more extensive.

I want to give them a 5 based solely on the food, but I have to be fair because the two times I ordered from there, I got room service. So I can't speak for the service at the restaurant. They do have reservations though OpenTable though, which is always a plus for me. One night, I ordered the sesame seed crusted ahi (medium-well). This was served over rice and bok choy, and some super tasty sauce. I LOVED this meal and it has to be one of the best meals I've ever ordered through room service! I told a coworker to try it. He ordered it another night and was raving about it as well. And from what he tells me, he's pretty picky. Another night I ordered the Poke Tacos (with yellow fin tuna). These were good too! I love the crunchy shells, and they were not regular corn taco shells but instead wonton shells. BTW, the in-room dining menu doesn't list the items from this place, but you can ask for anything from this menu and they'll deliver it. Convenient indeed!

Was staying at the Hilton during a conference and ate here 3 times. Eating here that many times not really by choice but more a matter of convenience. With 95+ degree heat and the weird parking logistics the hotel takes more effort than it should to leave. All three meals disappointing. I won't go through each. The menu is modern which is fine but frankly almost too modern. Every item has some eccentric twist. It would be good to have basic comfort or traditional options. For instance.. Pizza, they have 3 options. Egg & chorizo (seriously?), bbq chicken (no BBQ sauce and grilled chicken smothered heavily with some sort of ranch sauce), and margherita. So those are your 3. That night I just wanted something simple. I noticed on the kids menu they have pepperoni pizza. Asked my server if I could simply get a pepperoni pizza and was told no. I pointed out that it is available for kids and my request was pretty simple, heck just add it to the basic cheese pizza. Still told no. So I begrudgingly go with the BBQ. Worst thing ever (reference why above). Lady at the table next to me sees it and tells me she is jealous. I gave her a slice (never done that before but why not I don't want it). The look of mild disgust on her face matched mine. I paid and left saying no to the box. The last night there was with 2 friends and planned to try the steakhouse on the property but it was closed for a private party. Again forced over to David's. Half the tables empty but made to wait 15 minutes anyway. From the hostess to the food, overall, blah.

David's Club Bar is the kind of place every large hotel should have when it's next to a Convention complex. David's is open to midnight (I think it was once 1 am), which is wonderful for adults coming from a long winded convention or the Disney parks. The menu is quite expensive but also very extensive. I notice that most people seem to be doing a lot of drinking and ordering burgers, salads, and sushi. That must disappoint the chefs who have some very creative menu items. Can you believe: salted caramel gelato panini? The local and craft beer list is better than many straight bars and the wine list is quite acceptable. David's has TVs but is more a socialize with friends and workmates kind of place than a sports bar. It doesn't open until 4 pm and doesn't fill up until the dinner hour is almost over. There is indoor and outdoor seating and I have been here when there was entertainment (of sorts). It's casual and friendly and people are taking food out for their rooms. Just be sure you don't vanish in one of those overstuffed chairs. They say there are 150 seats but on weekends they might be all filled.
