So on the last day of my Orlando vacation my boyfriend and I had practically empty wallets but still wanted to enjoy the end of our trip...we needed to refuel with lunch because we overslept and missed our hotel's complimentary breakfast and we had seen a commercial for Chili's the night before as we randomly caught up with Dexter, drank wine and ate cheese (I know, we're lushes). Now this Chili's commercial had said something about a $9.99 "Triple Dipper Meal" and my sweet prince decided that he needed that in his life sooner rather than later. Surprise, there was a Chili's only a short drive from our hotel so the next day it had to happen. Obviously. Upon entering we were seated immediately and our waiter gave us menus, introduced himself and went on to make some recommendations and get us drinks. Service throughout the rest of the meal was pretty great and even the manager stopped by at one point to see how we were doing. My boy went with his craving and went with the "Tripple Dipper" and I went for a lunch combo. ______________________________________________________________ The "Tripple Dipper" choices are pretty interesting and provide a variety of calorie-filled deliciously 'bad for you' treats! The options include: + Original Chicken Crispers (really they're fried/battered chicken tenders) + Boneless Buffalo Wings + Boneless Honey-Chipotle Wings + Southwestern Egg Rolls (they're filled with pepper, corn & other stuff I don't like) + Big Mouth Bites (burger sliders, YUM!!) + Hot Spinach & Artichoke Dip + Loaded Potato Skins ______________________________________________________________ The options my beau went with were the original Chicken Crispers, boneless Buffalo Wings and the Southwestern Egg Rolls...ohhhhh how I yearned for Spinach & Artichoke Dip, lol - next time. He gave me a Chicken Cripser to try and it wasn't bad, but the meat to batter ratio was more off than I generally prefer. The meat was juicy and tasty but the batter was super greasy and not crunchy - these were actually better when microwaved as leftovers the next day, haha! I didn't try his other two selections because I don't handle spicy foods well. For my lunch I went with a lunch combo with comes with a soup and an entree. For the soup I chose the most ridiculous soup on their menu - the LOADED BAKED POTATO SOUP. It came topped with applewood smoked bacon, cheese, and fresh scallions. IT WAS AMAZING. I'm also pretty sure it was the stuff heart attacks dream about and arteries have nightmares about - but it was an out of this world, delicious, buttery, creamy, potato laden, bacon lover's dream...also in that "this must be awful for you but I want to eat this every single, DAMN DAY" - kinda way. Yeah. My entree was their Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla. It came stuffed with applewood smoked bacon, a pretty generous amount of deliciously seasoned & juicy as f@#! chicken, cheese and served with their signature dressing...which to me was a cross between chipotle mayo, Russian dressing with a touch of sour cream. In other words, delicious - it also came with french fries...with the potato skins on em, just the way I like it. As far as drinky poos go, Chili's Happy Hour is 2-for-1 ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. The boy went with regular lime margaritas on the rocks with a salt rim and I went for raspberry margs with a sugary, red sugar rim. Both were refreshing, tasty and not too heavy on the sugary syrups - but neither packed a punch with the tequila content - BOOOOOOOOOO here. In all we were pleased with what we got for what we paid for and we ended up taking some back to the hotel fridge and enjoying it the next day. Chili's ended up being the gift that kept on giving, lol.

I give this place three stars because it is not as good as the Chili's in Vista, CA that I used to frequent but it is the best out of 4 I have eaten at since moving to Florida. The chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas and spinach artichoke dip is good. I believe I may have heard the waitress say 2 for 1 drinks, which no Chili's I have been to offers.

Never been disappointed in Chili's - their portions are kinda large, the food is tasty and my nephew loooves the honey chipotle chicken strips with fries and corn. He's 13 and eats like a man so if this can fill him up, you know it's a meal!

Wow! Stuck in the 90's?? First of all, I would like to say that I like Chili's and eat at them fairly often. I also travel a fair amount. When I went to search this particular one, I was surprised by the low star ratings of all of them in the area. Maybe a district manager change is needed?? I also wanted to say that I just had a beer and left as the restaurant had two issues that I cannot deal with as a traveler. No cell service on T-Mobile and Verizon! Seriously, you get no signal at an airport! Next, no wifi! What???? So, there is no possible way for me to stay in contact at a major airport with two different cell phones and several wifi devices, can't connect on anything?? Really?? A pico-cell site or repeater is cheap! So I had one beer from a very nice bartender and went to an inferior restaurant to eat so that I can also do my job. How does something like this escape management? Plain stupid this day and age, and very disappointing.

Great food. The ziosk at each table is a great idea.played games while waiting for food. We ordered the santa fe chicken salad and fajita trio and it was delicious.

Conveniently located near the 528 heading to the Orlando Int'l Airport. After a really disappointing dining experience-or lack of, our party of 3 ventured into the familiar world of Chili's. Since we were pressed for time and trying to not freeze under the vents in the booths, we sat in the bar area. April, our server, was efficient, friendly and attentive to our dining experience. We started off with the complimentary salsa and chips and then went right in with the 1/2 rack of ribs. I enjoyed the memphis dry rub.. gives a different taste but in a good way! Plenty of tvs around to watch your sporting preference, we sat in an optimal place to view the b-ball game, golf and crossfit training tournaments. Prices are standard. $10 for 1/2 a rack of ribs and fries. Great happy hour specials available all day as well.

Slow service. Smaller portions (the salads used to be huge). And overall just blah. Done eating here.

This was a good spot for a quick lunch. Ordered the three-item Tex-Mex combo. Tostada, enchilada and soft taco. It was really tasty, the waiter was kind and the price was reasonable.

The existing 3-star reviews are probably the most accurate. I sometimes come here when I am near the airport and have to wait for a while for someone I'm picking up at the airport to arrive or if I have time to kill while waiting to depart. It isn't my favorite Chili's by any means. I have been to some that I have really liked and some that are average. This one falls into the latter category. The employees here were very nice during my most recent visit, which was this past Friday. I had a Presidente margarita and Texas-style French fries (with cheese, peppers, etc.) and hung out at the bar for about half an hour. Both the drink and food were good and I was treated very pleasantly. The atmosphere in here was a little bit weird, though. I was in here between maybe 2:15-2:45 on Friday and it was a little hectic and crazy inside. The group sitting behind me at the stand-alone bar table was very rowdy and loud, and I'm unsure what they were doing acting that way at that time and on a weekday. It was reminiscent of what some groups of people do in downtown Orlando on Fri./Sat. nights. They definitely were partying and carrying on, though it wasn't anything overly inappropriate (i.e. no bad language, etc.). I just wasn't expecting for such a wild celebration to be taking place at that time on a weekday (yes, it was a Fri., so maybe they got out of work early and got their weekend started before many others did). Oh, well. Maybe I just felt weird about it because I was tired, drove all the way to the area without my air conditioning working and the person who I was picking up at the airport had their flight delayed. Anyway, I'm sure that many people will find this Chili's to be much like many of the others, though I just don't like it as much as a few others I've been to. And, of course, I wouldn't go to it unless I was going to the airport before/after or just happened to be near it. (I live in College Park.) Overall, it is what it is. Of course, it always is nice to have 2-for-1s for many alcoholic drinks all day, every day ... but that's at (as far as I can tell) every Chili's, so there isn't a whole lot separating this one from the others. The ones in Alt. Springs and Lake Mary are the ones I've been to the most and are, in my opinion, nicer and the ones I'm much more likely to regularly return to.

1 Star for service. We were very displeased when the hostess didn't greet us when we walked in and she had a sarcastic attitude. She seemed bothered when we asked for a high chair. A smile goes a long way with a customer, try it sometime and you will avoid negative comments. She completely ignored us when we left, not a thank you or a good night. Not a great experience in general. The servers all had looks on their faces like they didn't want to be there. No one smiled and we didn't feel welcomed. The only positive was that there was a guy walking around making balloon animals for kids, my son really enjoyed that. Apparently they had a special promotion called 2 for $20 but no one ever told us about it or explained it so we had no idea until we got home. Service is always more important to us than anything else. Food was good but service was horrible therefore they get 2 stars.

Today, a client asked me to join him for lunch. I was happy to join him but I did not know what to expect when he pulled into a Chili's. My experience with Chili's has never been good. In fact, every experience with Chili's has been somewhere south of really unpleasant. Today's experience, on the other hand, was surprisingly good. Admittedly, I was still at a Chili's so we did not push the boundaries of culinary experience, but for a quick business lunch, the Lee Vista Chili's has all of the requisite qualifications, as was evident by the packed house we encountered: 1) This particular Chili's is very clean. The tables were quickly bussed and cleaned. Plates and utensils had very clearly been through the dishwasher. I put a lot of stock in cleanliness and today, the Lee Vista Chili's passed muster. 2) The staff was pleasant. Four different staff members, including the manager on duty, visited our table to check on us. They smiled and seemed to sincerely appreciate our business. 3) The food was served quickly and it was served hot. 4) The food (me a vegetarian fajita which I ordered off the menu; he a burger) was entirely edible. I know that may not sound like a ringing endorsement but I was in a Chili's after all. Even so, the food was fresh, especially the vegetables in my fajita. Chili's is not fine dining--if this comes as a shock to you, I am sorry to burst your bubble-- and I don't think any of us expect fine dining if we enter its doors. This Chili's does offer, however, acceptable dining. Take that for what's worth.

Normal Chillis... This place does however become insanely crowded with long wait times. Nothing wrong with the restaurant, just long waits typically.

This was my first time having lunch at this specific Chili's and I must say that I was really looking forward to their fajita combo special that they've had on their menu for years. I was so disappointed with the way they cooked both the chicken and the steak. If it wasn't for us being engaged in a great dialogue together about what the future holds, I would've brought it up to the management team but the food was below average. The cooks may have had an off day or it may have been a new chef trying it out and he didn't cook it the way Chili's usually does so I may give them another chance the next time I'm staying in Orlando but I walked about annoyed. Their hostess wasn't the most pleasant person and I'm always confused when restaurants don't shop their own hostess to see how good of a job they do. It's so difficult to judge a hostess based on an interview versus how they really treat people when they first arrive to your restaurant. Just like in sports I think she may have done better playing a different position such as a behind the scenes employee instead of the role she was playing. And out waitress needs to be reminded to smile more often. Other than the the ice tea was great.

  • Lindsay F.

The staff here are always nice, quick, and cheerful. They also go out of their way (more so than any other Chili's I've been to) to point out good deals, probably because they're mostly college students trying to save some money themselves. While it's no culinary genius, you get exactly what you expect when you walk into a Chili's -- a casual atmosphere to enjoy an hour with friends and reliably decent food.

Typical chilis. They have some new menu items with avocado which are pretty flavorful and decently priced. Our server was lively and very attentive. Although, he never brought us our appetizer hence the three stars. On the bright side he never charged us for it so we figured we saved a few bucks. Average Chilis = 3 Stars

Service was good, but here's the lowdown on the food..... Appetizers: The triple combo which included fried buffalo chicken wings, fried cheese chunks ( not sure of the official name, because they were just fried cheese chunks). The fried pickles were a greasy, soggy mess. They were not crunchy at all, even after removing the skin off the pickles, it didn't even have a crunch and we passed on those. The buffalo style chicken was your typical bar style buffalo chicken wings and the cheese chunks was decent. But I must warn you that the Chef must be obsessed with All spice AKA season salt aka Lawry's seasoning, because all three were garnished with it. Next, main dish: I got your everyday run of the mill bacon cheeseburger, with thick hearty bacon, overall I liked it. It came with french fries and you guessed it, all spice garnishing, plain and simple, it was good. In this case the seasoning was greatly appreciated. The wife got the Pick two mexican combo, substitute the rice and beans for house salad and french fries with chicken tostado and a chicken soft taco. I was told that the salad was a little wilted and a little bit too soft for her liking. She only ate the chicken taco, because the chicken tostado was overly garnished with the all spice so much, that it has the possibility of shooting up your blood pressure. The french fries was very good though with the ranch dressing. Drinks: I'm usually a pina colada type guy, but they didn't have any, so I had to settle for a strawberry daiquiri, which was comped because it didn't taste good at all, it was very tart and that was even without the alcohol. Overall: Probably wont be in the Top 15, but if we don't have anything to do, we will be back.....

Stayed at a hotel nearby so decided to try this Chili's. Watermelon margarita was really good but that is where it ended. I had nachos which were limp, cold and overcooked. My son had chicken strips which he did not like either. My husband had a burger which was (surprise) overcooked. Normally i would still tip the waitress well but she saw my barely touched plate and never even asked if everything was alright. Seemed she was avoiding the obvious question. Bad service/bad food.

It's your standard Chilis, but since it's Florida, the drink specials are good. They have a two for one happy hour, can't beat that.

Another perfect example of a place that's really better than 3-stars, but not quite four. I sure would like to give it 3.5 - are you listening Yelp? Anyway, the fam and I visited here recently for my middle son's "Going Away Luncheon." He's back to work from leave in the Army and returning to his next duty station in CA. We all like Chili's and it was near the airport, so why not? As far as Chili's goes, it much like anyone one I've been too. The service is good, if not spectacular, and the food is plentiful if not memorable. The atmosphere during lunch is super relaxed, the place was very clean, and we had a great time, eating together as a family (all four grown kids and the wife) one last time. No one was disappointed in their meal and it was so much some of the bigger eaters left stuff on the plate. So why not four-stars? Well...it's a Chili's, it's a big box that delivers decent food at a decent price, but there's no "Wow Factor" as I call it. I'm not knocking them, I will return again and again. It's just that the place doesn't tingle my toes, even though they do a really decent job.

Ordered the new "Fresh Mex Pairings" where you can choose a 2 item or three item plate with two sides. It comes with rice and beans buy you can substitute them. I happened to choose a chicken taco, beef tostada, and chicken enchilada in green sauce. Out of the 3, the green enchilada was awesome, the chicken taco was good, but the beef tostada was a little salty. Great plate!

They were really hitting on all cylinders for lunch today. Had spicy shrimp tacos with black beans and rice. The salsa is fantastic. Crazy fresh - this is a superior Chilis. Sat in the bar. Great service.

Were generally happy with Chilis and know what to expect. Unfortunately this location is an embarrassment to the chain. Service is slow and inattentive, the restaurant is badly in need of an update and somehow the kitchen managed to ruin some of our regular favorites. I would not recommend this particular location.

    (2)

The food here was simply delicious. Service was better expected. They made a point to check-in consistently without being overbearing. Much better than I expected for a long popular chain restaurant.

Monday @ happy hour. Skillet queso was piping hot and some chips were under cooked. The nachos were okay, the chips were tough to bite through. Service was on point.

Horrible service. It's a "fast" food Mexican and they were inattentive and slow. Plus saw a last blow her nose and then you if food with no plastic gloves. No thank you.

I contacted this location because of a $200 plus charge to my CC and explained have never visited their location. The manager was not helpful and stated someone probably ordered a to go. Really 200 plus worth of to go and that order wouldnt stand out. Their CC processing company would not be available until Monday for them to look into it and they had to many orders to review or locate an order for 200. I have eaten at Chilis in other locations but never again. It is kinda of hard to spend 200 at Chilis. It is not like dining at Ruth Chris. So CC theft is an issue at this location when it's management just puts it off on the cc company. I had to shut down my CC and the company is sending me a new card. Chili's corp should really look into how the management handles CC fraud charge notifications. Update@ so I finally get a call back for some at Chilis management and they at like it is not a big deal. Yes it is a hassle for you but really 8 out 10 times, Chilis will get paid out due to their merchant agreement, so what ls the big deal. So I ask the rep for a copy of the receipt of the transaction and I am told no. The rep says go ahead and file a police report and if I file the police report they will only give it to the investigator. if a report is ever looked into. Really I am only a victim of CC theft for a short time ultimately it is really up to the CC company to file a ciminal complaint. Great bussiness model Chilis! I ask if they could perserve the video from that night of the 8 poeple dining on my cc and I am told the location has no video and most of their locations dont. The Chili's rep stated cc theft happens all the time and it is what it is. Of course he also shares it was a party of 8 people have drinks and food on a stolen cc. But really why should they care, the server was tipped and 8 out 10 times they get paid.

Service slow. Food better at foodcourt. Ok of you are with kids. I would suggest better options in airport. Figured out later that gate terminal has restaurants as well.

Went here on a Sunday because Chili's was participating in a "Project Wounded Warrior" donation event where a portion of profits go towards this effort. You really can't go wrong at Chili's. I always enjoy their hamburgers, so good. BOGO margarita's. Tell me what's wrong with that. The only complaint I have is noise. Why does it have to be so noisy. Other than that, good experience.

After waiting 10 mins just for our drinks we then waited over 30 mins for our food. Let me clarify that the restaurant was not busy when we got there. Our server was nowhere to be found so I asked the hostess for the manager to get an eta on our food. About 7 minutes later (and no manager visit) our Luke warm food was delivered. My fajitas weren't even sizzling and my husbands triple dipper was cold and greasy. After sitting there in awe for another five minutes our server finally noticed that we hadn't touched our food. At this point we had waited almost 15 mins for a manager and I asked again if he manager could come out without a 15 minute wait this time. When she finally came she made every excuse in the book and even said that she had personally cooked our food so there was no way it wasn't hot. After just saying we were going to leave she then apologized and told us she would replace our food. The second time out mine wasn't even correct. We just gave up because we had been there an hour already and wanted to go home. Horrible customer service and mediocre food at best. What a waste of my time.

An exceptional Chili's! Fresh made chips and salsa on premises. Charming waitstaff, and generous whiskey pours - even during happy hour. Would come back here next time I'm waiting to get on a flight from MCO. 3 minutes from rental car dropoff, so ultra-convenient if you'd rather not wait/eat in the actual airport.

    (3)
  • Robert P.

Food was luke warm. Poor experience. Two stars only because the waiter tried and we liked him. Don't touch the display thingie on the table because whatever is says about being free, it is not, it ends up on the bill.

  • Emily S.

We entered with a party of 6, the hostess does not even greet us just stares. He then sets a party of 3 at a table for 6 and then just hands us a beeper thing without telling us the wait time or anything. Service is absolutely terrible, the hostess has no social skills and no sense of urgency .

This Chili's at the airport is alright, first time I visited for a business lunch meeting. We didn't do official seating we sat at the bar, waitress was very friendly and super nice her name was Kelly so S/o's to her.. but sincerely the food was just ok. I had a like 4 long island ice teas so the bar tender did a great job on those. One thing we didn't like was the fact that they took all the coasters out and the tables are in tile so the waitress had to give us bar napkins for us to put our drinks on them because if not, it would've gotten our table all wet. So that was pretty lame, but all in all it was a pleasant experience. We ordered some chicken appetizer platter with southwestern egg rolls which are my favorite but the regular crisp chicken tenders I do not recommend. Batter was soggy and the chicken was chewy. The rest of the crispers were just fine.

Came to this Chilis with a group of 4 for a going away party. The drink specials were 2 for 1, which was a great deal. For a starter ordered chips and guacamole, which was decent. Unfortunately, they do not offer the free chips and salsa anymore unless you are sitting in the "lounge area." My friend ordered buffalo sauce, which was not supposed to contain meat in the sauce, and it did. We made the waitress aware, she brought her a new one and the manager took her entre off the bill. I ordered the California chicken flatbread. It wasn't bad, but was overloaded with ranch sauce. I should have told them to leave the sauce on the side. It was an ok experience.

This place is always filthy dirty and the staff is always too busy to care or pay attention to the guests. Or too busy on their cell phones or talking to each other to care about the guests I've been here 3 times now over 6 months and its always the same story. If this was an independent restaurant and not part of a chain with a good reputation, it would fail, even though its in the middle of hotel row by the airport. The Chili's brand is not well represented here.

It's Chili's - two for one wells decent queso and good service. You can always count on Chili's to provide an adequate experience at any of their locations.

The 2 for $20 is a pretty good deal with a reasonable amount of food to try. Generally the service is decent, but my last experience was well below par.

I have been to other Chili's in the past and had mixed thoughts about the menu. This time I got the chicken tacos and I was impressed. They were very good, as was the mashed potatoes I got for a side. The caesar salad was good, but I would pick something else next time. The one thing Chili's does better than most is their online ordering. It was very, very easy and they had a dedicated pick up counter staffed with friendly employees. My hotel was right across the parking lot and this was a great choice to bring back to my room. Make sure you try the watermelon lemonade, I have never seen it anywhere else and it was amazing!!!

  • Novia Z.

awesome experience. we went twice. great service and hot fresh food. Can't have better. We had: tropical sunrise, el nino, strawberry lemonade (was ok), flat bread, tacos, hot grilled plate, carribean salad, etc.

Over all good food. The server we had was great but it's only getting 2 stars because of the hair and glob of crap on one of my wifes forks :( Food was up to par though

The margaritas as usual where good and the molton cake, damn. I will eat one right now. This chilis bar area is really small, they have very few big tables (for 8 or more). We waited more than an hour for our table.

Nice late night menu, great for post flight dining at MCO! The 2-for-1 all night happy hours in the bar are why I keep going back, you just can't beat it.

  • Amy D.

So Chili's is Chili's. Presidente Margarita is a favorite and can't beat the chips and queso but that's pretty much where things end. We'll do a quick stop when our buddy from down the street visits but not our first or second choice usually even with the 2-fer-1 lure...

  • Rayn H.

Being coming here awhile and the service getting worse and worse. Especially curbside which at this Chilis is nonexistent. Quality of the food is also going downhill . Sad since I've always been a fan of this chain but the service at this location is making me think twice about coming back

So after hours of flying, I was glad to be able to eat something besides items bought from the airline or bakery items bought in the early morning. I didn't want to wait until we checked in to have dinner, so we decided to eat near the rental car location. Chili's was the winner of the lottery draw that night. So we shared nachos and the steak fajitas -- very tasty. Service was good and we got exactly what we wanted, good hot food without any hassle.

Loved, loved, loved Chili's! Great food and lots of it! Great drink specials; we had their New Mexican Marguarita made with triple sec, Jack Daniels, lemon sour, topped off with a Corona turned upside down in the drink. We made them when we got home. Service was impeccable; friendly. The bar atmosphere in the restaurant made it easy to meet new people. Great way to end our 18 day vacation in Florida; in our last hotel close to the Airport. Hoping this is the Chili's that is right next door to the Whyndom Hotel.

I had not been here in nearly forever. It was a very busy night which equates to very loud inside. I could barely hear our waiter much less anyone at our table. I hope that couples weren't going for their first date, then again, it may incidentally lead to a second by default. The food was decent and came out very quickly. The service was decent too. It is what I have come to expect from Chili's.

Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
