We walked into this place 20minutes before their closing time and they welcomed us with friendly smiles and awesome service ( outback next to them locked their door already). We were really hungry and our server came within minutes. He warmed the milk for my grandma ( usually I get the answer " no we can't warm it up" ). We ordered spaghetti with side salad and told him we are going to share ( not trying to eat too much at late night) and they brought out two usual portion for singles orders, lots of salad and lots of spaghetti!! And sauce was incredible! Bro able the best one I've ever tasted so far! And the olive oil with break were amazing!! The waiter was also friendly and funny. I was completely satisfied with both service and food especially after a long day at Universal Studios when we were both exhausted. I love this place, love their food, and love the service.

We decided to give this a try on a rainy Sunday night. Walked in and seated immediately, which was great after fighting crowds all weekend. Wonderful service, waiter was very attentive. Myself and three pre-teens. Two of the kids wanted something to share off of the main menu (not the kids menu), and they split it into two plates in the kitchen. Good Caesar salad and delicious warm bread to start. I had steak Marsala with fettuccini, others had chicken Caesar salad and fettuccini Alfredo. Big hit was the chocolate dream dessert which the table shared. We'd go again.

So this location must be somewhat new because there was absolutely no crowd for lunch. The decor looked amazing and everything was really clean. The food came out super quick and it was delicious. I had the fettuccine Weesie. It's fettucinni with a creamy Sauce and shrimp. The portion was perfect for lunch. Left me full but not feeling nasty. I would say this location would be awesome for dinner!

Good food and service was outstanding, our server Sicily was really nice, she new the menu, available and not available items and recommendations, awesome. The lobster ravioli awesome, the mussels lacked a little bit of garlic but were ok.

Ate at this location last night (01/23/2015), and have to say it is the worst Carrabba's I've ever eaten at. The restaurant itself was clean, but seemed like the air conditioning broke because it was hot and humid inside. The food was edible, but that evening my girlfriend and I were both sick to our stomachs. The service was awful. All in all, I would suggest staying away from this location.

Always good. The staff here wonderful. The summer sangria with St Germain should be bottled and sold on the shelf. Spiedino excellent as always. I recommend grated Parmesan on sautéed spinach

The mozzarella sticks were burned and the calamari had much salt and pepper. The meatballs in the spaghetti were dry and tasteless! The Caesar salad was good!

Can't really comment on the food since we couldn't ever order anything. Arrived at 4:20 on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was maybe 20% full. Was told we had to wait for a table. After 15min we were seated. Then we waited again. After 15min we finally decided to walk out. No one came by and even acknowledged we were there. Very frustrated and disappointed. Had better service at ihop this morning.

We sat on the patio, which was lovely. The food was good, but not great. Chicken Parm came with fettuccini, which is weird but good. Chicken Marsala seemed prepackaged but was ok. Mozzarella Marinara had been sitting under a heat lamp. Cocktails were good. Asparagus was super salty. Caesar dressing was great. Our server, who was admittedly a bartender and not a server was really really awful. The service was awkwardly slow. He was gone for far too long in between menu items, checking on us and finally bringing the bill. I might have gone back for the good but the service reminds me otherwise. I will stick with Macaroni Grill.

I have eaten in many many Carraba's. Unfortunately, as the chain is composed of franchises, the quality can potentially be uneven. I agree with the prior reviewer who said this is the worst Carraba's in the system The have encountered. The staff delayed coming to the table for 10 minutes while they squabbled over who would take the order. After having a server take the order, suddenly a competing server appeared, taking over, being surly and offensive. This behavior was sanctioned by the owner, who happened to be on site, more interested in his employees than his few customers. We would have stayed, but in the process of discussing the matter we saw food on a few other tables and it appeared to be well be Ow the fine corporate standard of Carraba's and unappetizing. Clearly, word has gotten around. On this night, another Carrabas four miles away had an hour long wait. This one was 90% empty. That one is excellent. Make the drive to the Disney area. I highly recommend the Carrabas there.

I have always been a fan of Carraba's but I was do dissapointed tonight. I ended up with a raw Chicken Rosa Maria after being told by the waitress how well they cooked food there since they did not want.to get people sick! I can only hope to not end up sick since I ate a couple of pieces before realizing it was chewy because it was raw!! Check your food before you eat it as it appears the timing is off in the kitchen big time!! The manager Mark leaves a lot to be desired as far as customer service goes. He walked away and offered no compensation for the horrible experience. He took off the chicken dish and billed for the replacement dish in spite of the raw chicken having ruined my dinner experience as well as the rest of the family's. I can see why on a Sumday at 5 there were no more than 10 people in the restaurant when all others in the area had a wait. My mistake was trusting the chain name and not specific review for this one. This was my worst experience at Carrabas and my absolute worst custumer service from a manager who had no control over his kitchen and felt insulted when we said as much. A staff that is playing around in the kitchen area is bound to make mistakes. Too many places in Orlando to eat for a restaurant to serve raw food along with horrible management.

Started off with the calamari and the bread. Carrabba's calamari is our favorite. Seasoned perfectly and the new butter sauce is really good. Ordered our entrees: Capellini (Angel hair) Weesie and the Shrimp and Scallop Linguini. Full beyond measure. Add a Stella and a Bud Light. Truly enjoyed this meal. As always, Carrabba's never disappoints!!!!

We don't eat at a lot of chain restaurants, but Carrabbas for years has been our favorite. The food always tastes fresh, the service is good, the menu has a nice variety and for a "chain", it's some of the highest quality food we've had. That being said, the new location on I-Drive next to the Orlando Eye Ferris Wheel is just terrible. We've now giving this location two chances, once for lunch and once for dinner and both times it has been the "worst Carrabbas experience" we've had. Service has been terrible. One time we let the server know how much we liked the bread and that we go through a lot. We never got bread and it was like pulling teeth to get a basket or two. Multiple items that came out totally wrong (sauce on the side ordered and sauce came on the item - both visits), some items never came out at all, and a special order of a "side of Chicken Marsala" (which I've ordered many times at multiple locations) was translated into brining me out a small side dish cup (like a ketchup cup) of sauce as my main course. The server *actually thought* I was ordering a 2-ounce side cup of sauce as my main course. *smh* And when I finally did get the side of chicken, I was then charged the full amount for the entree instead of the side as usually charged. My wife ordered a standard cheese pizza, she was given a kids pizza. Cups of soup brought out when a bowl was ordered. Drinks empty almost the entire meal. There were just so many mistakes made and service was just so bad that it was unbelievable. Is this the same company that we've been dining at 5-7 times per year for the last decade or so? I don't like giving Carrabbas a bad review. But I feel like this needs to be said. The only reason why it doesn't get a one-star is because the food, when we finally got it all and it came out correctly, was the same great food we expect from Carrabbas. Avoid this location. Stick to the location on Kirkman or Sand Lake instead.

ordered the Fettuccine Carraba, have to give a mixed review, the taste was excellent, the wood grilled flavor comes thru nicely on the chicken, my problem was the amount of chicken, two strips of chicken? for $15? fettuccine noodles, peas and sauce are not expensive, this should have had an entire chicken breast on it, not two pieces, I think probably because it was to go , they figured they could get away with it....have to say will not order this again, Cheesecake Factory gives twice as much for about the same price so cant be food cost!!

One word, Dimitri. What a wonderful experience. He took my wife's dairy allergy and took care of her food like I would. He watched out for her during the entire meal. He even stopped the kitchen from putting noodles in her soup that can sometimes be contaminated by dairy. Thank you so much!!

One word: "DELICIOUS"... Okay, I have to elaborate because this restaurant deserves a more thorough review. I visited this location on 5/8/15 after visiting the BIGEYE and the entire area surrounding this new development. Well, it was finally time to grab a bite to eat, and from the moment I walked through the door, to placing my order and taking my first bite into my 'Chicken Masala Dinner', I was truly amazed at how delicious it was. My waiter, Karla T was absolutely amazing; ensuring that my food was okay and periodically checking up on me throughout my dining experience. The chicken was so tender and tasteful and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade. For someone who cooks everyday at home, I felt a sense of relief going out and having someone cook for me for a change. It's been two weeks since I visited this restaurant and I'm still reminiscing on how great my experience was. It's a holiday weekend so I will be returning to indulge in something else on the menu.

The restaurant although a decent size was extremely poorly staffed. Instead of waiting in the cold reception area we decided to get a drink at the bar while we wait, which was also even colder. The bar seats probably an average of 10 - 15 people was run by a lonely gentlemen. He tried to do the best of his ability but he was rushing around trying to attend everyone at the bar, the waiters were also including their own orders, he was attempting to clean up but was hardly able to, and checking out clients. I felt bad ordering since you can tell he was already overwhelmed without help. When we got our table, our waitress was also extremely slow and kept apologizing for not attending us quickly and that they were poorly staffed. Mind you we didn't mention our dissatisfaction with the lack of staff OR how slowly run everything was. I won't be coming back to this place not because of the amount of staff but because of the comfort I had here. Everything was high top when I got here. The bar had high top chairs along with the booths and the tables. I'm not short but I felt like my feet were always dangling which is extremely uncomfortable. I was also shivering from the cold the whole time I was there. As for the food? It wasn't memorable.

Not a fan of the selection. Came once during Mother's Day, and they had a lobster dish that's was amazing. Been here 3 times since, and they haven't had it since Mother's Day. Every time I order something, I eat it...but don't love it. Service was great. Dessert was really good, apple crostata. If I come back to this area, I would definitely go somewhere else 3 stars

I was extremely disappointed in my experience here; I really like Carabbas and don't like giving a bad review, but the service and food was quite dire. Our server was completely incompetent and I actually started to wonder if he was high through the evening. We received 1 basket of bread for 5 people (had to ask 3 times for another and never got the second oil dish we requested multiple times) and we went to the bar ourselves to refill our drinks because they sat empty for so long. Food was ice cold upon arrival and I sent mine back because it tasted bad. Typically a manager should come over if food is sent back to see if something can be done to make the customer happy; not here. Typically I enjoy Carabbas as a reliable and consistent place to eat, but I will certainly never return to this particular location.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
