The pizza is not local, don't be fooled. If you want a pizza that tastes like any other big chain then go here! But be charged nearly $25 for a medium pizza plus delivery.... Total rip off, not worth the money. Worst decision I made on my trip! I was expecting fresh ingredients and a nice local flavor. Look elsewhere peeps!

Like many of the other reviews posted, I too got the flyer-under-the-hotel-room-door, except it was for a place called Pizza Planet. When I called, the girl that answered the phone clearly had better things to be doing than taking an order for the place that she worked at. I asked for an XL cheese pizza and when she asked where I was calling from, told her the hotel where we were staying. She said it would be there in 15-20 minutes, but I asked if I could pick it up since I needed to go out to grab something for my wife anyway. I asked her for the address, wrote it down and said, "Thanks, I'll be there soon." Her reply, "Mmm, hmm." -click- It should have been my first tip, that she didn't bother to take my name or any other information. Anyway, I drive out to this place, which was completely empty at 8:00 on a Monday night (should have been tip number two). When I told the girl sitting at the counter that I was here to pick up my cheese pizza, this lazy slob says, "You didn't actually place the order." I looked at her, stunned. Didn't I just speak to you on the phone? Apparently clearly asking for a specific (and very plain) pizza, then getting directions to said establishment doesn't qualify as an order. When I asked how the order didn't get placed, the rotund receptionist told me that I hung up on her after I had the address. I should have left right then and there, but by now I had driven 20 minutes and needed to get some dinner. Mercifully, the lack of patronage worked in my favor, since the kitchen had nothing else to cook I only had to wait about 10 minutes. The pizza wasn't totally terrible, but the inept, rude bovine that I had to deal with made Brooklyn Joe's a pizza place I'll neeevvveer order from when I'm in Orlando (not that they care or will be in business the next time I'm here). I'm sure there are dozens of better options. Don't waste your time here.

Stayed at the international Dr Orlando one night and order from here, bad choice, horrible pizza, two toppings and they were really stingy with them. Don't even bother with this place, just eat dominoes its better.

It was the worst pizza I've experienced! I wouldn't even want to eat this pizza after a drunk excursion from the club! The pizza was hot but tasted like store bought 4 for $10 pizza from Walmart! I thought the sausage was Kibbles and bits!!!!!!!!!

Annoying ads under hotel door. Doesn't deliver to room. Rude on the phone and website on flyer doesn't work. Specials advertised always have loopholes and they don't seem to care about repeat business since they just want tourist money.

It sucks. Pizza is dry. Wings are average. They do not deliver to the hotel room. No napkins were provided. They should fire the cook and owners for the garbage they serve. What is werid is they leave flyers in all the hotel rooms but can not deliver to the room? Do not order from this place! At least provide warning that we have to come down to the lobby to pick up the crappy food.

This is so sad, we arrived in Orlando, getting ready to leave the country, for an around the world travel! And we also, had a menu delivered under the door! We ordered poppers, which when we got them, had no cheese in them, My hubby got chicken parm and spaghetti, the chicken looked like it had been put under an iron and pressed , once he removed the chicken to cut up his spaghetti, he found that there was no gravy , it was very thick and stuck to the chicken! I had better luck, I got a Caesar salad, how can you mess up lettuce and bottled salad dressing. We were so hungry and ate enough to get rid of out hunger pains! But the rest went straight to the trash, where it probably originated from! What I don't get, is they can come through the halls of a hotel, and deliver the menu's under the door, but they can't bring your food to the door, as in " room service"! What's up with this!!~!!! All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy. One other note, My hubby won't eat anything with cream cheese, he asked the person on the other end of the phone, if the poppers where made with cream cheese, or cheddar, The person replied they didn't know! This is a "family run business", how can they not know what their food is made of???? Bottom line, I'd stay away from this place, I don't think there's one ounce of Italian in the name or the business, anyone can be called Joe! They need to be avoided at all cost! Thanks for reading! I hope you go to the front desk, and ask for their recommendations! The people who work here in the Orlando area, also have to eat here, so they know where the good stuff is! Happy eating!

Boneless buffalo wings taste like they were cooked in Motor oil . The yes order of spaghetti and meatballs was just a little better than SpaghettiOs The pizza itself is actually okay. The delivery time was over double what they projected.... The flyer for pizza was slid under our hotel room door

Unfortunately you can't give these fools ZERO stars...a medium pizza and limp greasy fries had an undisclosed "delivery fee" of $10! Are you kidding me!?! Plus they can't even come to the room to hand me their slop...scam....AVOID!

Wings had zero flavor. Pizza had no cheese and sparse toppings. We ordered because it was convenient. I guess it doesn't matter in the tourist areas.

Received advertisement from hotel door. Had 6 to choose from. All of them had the same deal. The experience is so-so. It says a full pound each on the dinners we ordered 4 from a party deal special and 2 pizzas to finish the deal. The pizza's are similar to the ones purchased from a grocery store and prepped with toppings afterward. The dough was pretty hard to chew. The dinners were pretty small to be a pound each, but then again maybe I expect it similar to the kind I get in non-tourist areas. There is a $5 charge for delivery. Delivery took approximately 120 minutes. Eat these places only if all other choices are not available. Since it is open later and has that convenience working for it. But order in advance if you are hungry.

Should've checked Yelp first!!! Pizza was cold, and like the rest of the reviews here. Wings were ordered with buffalo sauce. But they brought me buffalo style foil paper. No Ranch dip, no napkins, no parm cheese, no crushed pepper. Call Pizza Hut instead. smh......

If I could give negative stars I would!! I was staying at a hotel, and ordered a tossed salad with chicken- first, they don't send a fork so I had to eat with my hands!!! The $2 chicken add on was 3 tiny and dry(!) little slices that were tough and so dry I choked them down. The "salad" was shredded iceberg with nothing else (no veggies etc) When I called and asked for a manager to complain he answered with "what?!?!" Please save yourselves and don't order from here!!

Got flyer under hotel door too. Why didn't I Yelp them first??? On phone they said they delivered to hotel, and even asked for room#. Driver called and said to meet him in taxi area in front of hotel. Ordered 3 items. 2 were burnt, and the other was the wrong item. That means there's a good chance someone else's order was wrong too. There was another guest in the taxi area too, so the flyer under the door is definitely working for them. I suggest Yelping first and ordering second. We did it in the wrong order.

Absolutely terrible food. We ordered both pizza and a sub sandwich. Both were miserable poor excuses for food. The pizza was cold and flavorless and as thin as the morning newspaper. The "Italian combo" sub sandwich consisted of one piece of unidentifiable meat, maybe spam. No salami or pepperoni or ham. They were convenient because they delivered to the hotel after an exhausting day of walking. But that is about where it ends. Miserable food. Trust me and save your money.

Very rude lady on the phone she hung up on me because they didn't have anything I wanted. I was asking what was in a certain salad and she answered as if I was so dumb. She said "what do you mean? It's a salad!" Then she hung up

Ever pay $24 for a tiny chewy piece of eggplant parm, overcooked spaghetti, oily greasy garlic knots, and a salad? I have. Thanks Joe! And by the way, I'm 6 beers deep right now. This food should taste incredible. Even in my drunken state, I can tell it's crap. At least the delivery was fast. I'll give them that. Learn from my mistake - avoid this trap at all costs.

Found their menu under my door while vacationing at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. Ordered 2 large pizzas. It arrived cold. I thought I'd give them another chance and ordered baked ziti and chicken parm. Not only were they both cold, but they forgot the garlic knots. I will not be giving them any more business. It's a shame that Jimmy Johns doesn't deliver here. Ill look into Dominos.

I went on Vacation to Orlando, Fl at the Caribe Royal Hotel and me and my husband decided to buy food from this place to be delivered. We called the number that was clearly on an advertisement that was left under our door. This of course would be they clearly deliver there especially if the advertisement was in this hotel. We ordered around 6pm in the afternoon. The person who answered stated it can take 45 minutes. We waited an hour and my husband called. The person told him to wait a little longer and the driver should be calling. After 1 hour 45 minutes we decided to cancel the order. The person over the phone when I called stated THEY WILL NOT CHARGE. On 7/25/14 I see the charge for that ordered that never arrived. When I called Brooklyn Joe's Pizza and Subs, they claimed they cannot deliver there. Well all I have to say is that if I ever go back to Florida they will never get business from me and I do plan to call the hotel and advise them of this issue. Since they supposedly cannot deliver there, there is no point to advertise they can. Don't fall for their bull shit. I have already claimed fraud.

The absolute WORST delivery food I've ever had in my life. The wings which we ordered "as hot as you can make them", came with no sauce. The jalapeño poppers and chicken fingers were burnt so badly that they were inedible. The chicken Parm sandwich had very little chicken and what was there was spongy textured fake chicken like what they make chicken nuggets out of. When we called they said they would bring us replacements for what was burnt and some sauce for the wings. Never showed. Classy.

The left a flyer on the door every day we were in Orlando on the condo door. We had 9 family members (including an infant and handicapped person) and decided it would be easier to order pizza than try and load everyone up and get to a restuarant. We ordered from Joe's and were guaranteed it would take no more than 45min - 1 hour. After 2 hours we gave up and called our order. About 2.5 hours later the delivery guy called and was trying to sell us the pizza at 50% off (which I'm sure it was stone cold at this point). By that point we'd already given up and drove to a restuarant. Can't comment about the pizza since we never got it but be warned.

Like other Yelpers, I was suckered into ordering pizza from them since they had slipped the flyer under our hotel suite's door and seemed to offer better selection than the on-site dining facilities. It took over an hour for the pizza to arrive, they couldn't get into the building(I guess that they just pay some kid to slip the flyers under the doors), and oh yeah they gave us the wrong order. Lesson learned: spend the extra 5 minutes to check on yelp first before ordering pizza in a strange place.

I also received the pizza advertisement under my hotel room door. Although I had 6 menus to choose from (all pizza menus at that), only Joe's advertised they had margherita pizza. However, my phone call to order consisted of the following: *Ring ring* Lady: Joe's Pizza. Please Hold. *Various noises, including about 6 other phone calls she answered the same way * About 10 or so minutes later, she asks: "How can I help you?" I order my food and then after I get my total and hang up, I realize the price doesn't add up. $19.53 for a 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 margherita pizza plus delivery. I asked her to break down the total and she charged me for a full margherita plus the pepperoni. When I complained that wasn't right, she gave me a $2 discount (in her words "Since I complained") And the other reviewer said it was a $5 delivery fee, but it is only $3.50. Just wanted to correct that! She also quoted that my pizza would be there in 30 min to 1 hr; It actually came about an hour and 20 minutes later. Also, by the time the pizza got to me, it was barely luke warm and the basil still had massive stems on it! I think they could have at least pulled them off or something!

Not even worth one star! Saw a flyer under our door at Disney's Bay Lake Tower. Thought we'd give it a try and save $ from all expensive Disney fare. A frozen pizza would've been 100 times better. We also had to wait almost an hour and a half for 3 pies and a salad...of which the pies were cold and like cardboard. Big miss on this one..shoulda just had more Disney chicken nuggets @ $7!

The owner, Joe, picks up the phone and immediately gives me an attitude because he is in a hurry. They advertise a Gyro as their specialty.. So I asked if it was a lamb gyro , the guy laughed and told me he had NEVER in 20 yrs heard of a Lamb Gyro. He asked me that where in the world was I from...and laughed.. making fun of me for asking for a Lamb gyro? WOW! Well buddy.. if you are that ignorant.. please Google up Gyro and you'll learn that it is the most popular Gyro. You are just clueless and rude. I still placed an order but minutes later I called back to cancel.. had a bad feeling. He hung up the phone on me immediately. They probably spit on your food too Class act.! AVOID

WORST PLACE EVER! Ordered pizza at 6:15 pm. Got several excuses as to why we still didn't have our pizzas after 2 hours such as: traffic, we can't find your order, etc. The driver finally showed up and they said they could only offer us 20% off our order. We told them to keep the food. Just terrible. HOW ARE YOU STILL EVEN OPEN?

Upon arrival. Place was really bland and bathroom door is missing. A lot of crap was on the floor. Place looked like a dump. Lady that took my order was pretty rude. Asked her a simple question and she said "idk ask that kid behind u." (referring to the delivery boy). I ordered the gyro deal and slice of pizza. Takeout time was under 10 mins so that's a plus. As far as taste...pizza was big and juicy. but the fries were not seasoned and the gyro tasted okay, nothing special. Also pricing was a bit steep for a pizza joint. I say the only thing that this place has going is the pizza. but even then there still needs to be much improvement on this place.

Horrible pizza and service. Got a flyer under my door at the Hard Rock. Ordered a pizza at 730pm on a Tuesday night. 30 minutes later the wrong pizza showed up. The guy said to keep it and we would get the correct pizza soon. Oh and btw that wrong pizza was cold. An hour later no pizza yet so I called them up. The lady said "oh wow another wrong pizza that has not been fixed yet!" And she promised me the right pizza in 20 minutes. Well about 2 hours from the time I placed the original order the correct pizza showed up and cold like the last one. On top of all that the delivery person tried to get me to pay for a second time. Lol ya I don't think so. And the extra large they have is the size of a large every other place.

I received several advertisements/flyers under my door and Joe's happened to be one of them. This place isn't far but takes over an hour to deliver. I don't mind waiting for good food but everything we ordered here was horrible. The pizza was dry and tasteless. The subs had no taste whatsoever. We asked for mayonnaise on the side but there was nothing included with the delivery. Even mustard wouldn't have saved the sandwiches. We definitely would have been better off going with Domino's. Avoid this place at all costs.

My family and I were staying at the Hard Rock, joes was one of the menus we had on our table. The lady that answered the phone was rude, sassy and was very slow on taking our order. When she asked where to deliver the order, I told her the hard rock hotel on the universal property, she had no idea where that was yet the menus are featured in every hotel room here... The meal didn't take too long to get here. Although we had to walk to the lobby bc the delivery boy called us to inform us that he can't want walk to our room. The food didn't taste bad but it wasn't great. The pastas don't have much taste, but the one pizza we ordered was pretty good (cheese burger pizza). Garlic knots have no taste and are very hard. I normally yelp everything before I try a place, but I thought that it would be okay if the hotel recommended it. This just taught me that I will never forget to yelp while I'm on vacation!

  • Jules L.

One word..... HORRIFIC! Run, run away from this place, especially if you are on vacation and receive a flyer in your room, they are scammers!!! We had the worst take out experience imaginable. Our last night of vacation and all we wanted was some take out food and an early night. Placed an order at 8:45 p.m. and when the delivery guy finally arrived around 9:30, it was missing the pizza we ordered, how does that happen? It was the "main course" of our dinner. After several calls to the so called manager there, Emily, I was so angry I asked her to take the pizza off the bill, which we actually never received, and she informed me "we don't just like give out food for free". I asked her if I spoke with the owner of this establishment, that he would be happy to hear her answer, her response.. "I don't know, take his email address and ask him, he's out of the country". Wow! Never, ever go to this place, trust me.

Do not bother! In Orlando for a conference, and after 2 days of walking and intense activities, just wanted to stay in and have dinner. We ordered lasagna, and the alfredo. DON'T. About 2 hours after dinner, and one of us is already throwing up. I expect the other will start soon. Lasagna was ok, but nothing to rave about. Garlic knots were hard as rocks, and black on the bottom (burned). The alfredo pasta was way overcooked, and was noodles with butter and some pizza seasoning thrown on top. Ate about 3 bites, and threw it away...we split the lasagna. No salt in any of the dishes. Bland doesn't begin to cover it. Don't waste your money. Person who answered the phone was rather rude, delivery charge was not disclosed...Our food total was $16.99, and the total came to over $22. Ridiculous. Should have walked over to McDonald's. It would have been better.

Called in a delivery order. They gave me a delivery time of 40 - 45 minutes. After an hour I called, and they said the driver had left. 20 minutes later (we were 5 minutes away) the driver showed up. He said that the restaurant forgot to make my food. The pizza was hot, so I figure the driver was honest. My family was a bit upset about waiting an hour and a half for our dinner, but the pizza was decent. Should have read the other Yelp reviews...

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Ordered a pizza and waited for two hours, after calling multiple times and being refused to speak to the manager, he finally came on. He kept saying the pizza would be here in 10 minutes. Finally the driver called and told us he was in the lobby, when my husband went downstairs, nobody was there, the driver had gone to the wrong hotel. When we called the pizzeria again they tried blaming this mistake on us. Even after all this they still made us pay. We waited a total of 2 and a half hours for cold nasty pizza. When we told the manager we were leaving yet another terrible review on yelp, he claimed they had good ratings and we were talking about a different pizzeria. To make it clear we are talking about joes pizza and subs on 9251 south orange blossom trail, if you are staying at any Orlando hotel and find their flyer under your door, do yourself a favor and do not order from here.

You know how when you're starving just about anything tastes delicious... well, this place did not do it for me or any of my friends even when we were famished... We ordered from them around 1 am (yes, it is very late and so we expected a long wait), but our food did not come until 10 minutes after we called them for the second time at 2am... We would've forgiven them for the wait but, they did not make up for it with the food. Very bland, not so fresh-tasting sandwiches, and as for pizza, I think store bought frozen would've been better... I don't recommend it.

Came in, good service, good price, and good pizza. Ordered 3 larges for 27. Great for groups. It was fast and tasty. Would recommend to others. Can't comment on delivery experience but the dine in was great 5/5
