Absolutely outstanding! The sign says "Warning, our food is habit forming" and they are definitely correct. I had the cheese steak and it was perfect. All the staff were super nice. This is definitely the type of place where they remember your name and greet you with a smile.

Old school sub stop! Think Beffy King's little sister (but no affiliation). These are the spots that make me thank Yelp. The Jeff Ks helped me find this golden oldie. I am a sub/cheesesteak fan so I had to check them out when I saw someone thought this was the best cheesesteak in town. I was blown away by the lack of parking during lunch because it was THAT busy, however, they have a drive thru, YAY! Super friendly and easy. Please note that they are a very small spot and try to keep their costs down so they do charge .50 when using debit/credit. But at least it's not cash only! I rolled up there and ordered the cheesesteak with onions and when I hit up a new cheesesteak spot I automatically order double meat, double cheese because in Philly, they don't slack on either and I feel the South does. In this case my cheesesteak was overflowing, just the way I love it. The Jeffs were right, it's delicious. So much flavor, perfectly minced meat, the cheese is melted and generous, yum! I was not a fan of how the grilled onions were long and stringy and just on top but they did taste great. The bread was definitely like a heavenly pillow, so soft and delicious. Not sure why but I ordered fries too, minus the calori intake, I loved my entire meal and would def head back here. Yes, the area is sketchy, it's on OBT but hey... go in the daytime. And yes, not open on the weekends. Thanks Yelp and Jeff K and Jeff K for pointing me in the right direction and to a spot I never would have tried without reading about it first.

This place is AMAZING! Great food and great service! The cheesesteak is by far the BEST I've ever had... And I've tried A LOT of places! I eat here every time I'm in the area. Do not let the area/location scare you... It's safe and family friendly. They have been around for over 40 years and you will know why once you try the food. Bring cash if possible. There is a small fee (0.50) for debit/credit.
