All I have to say is that they have the best steaks in town! They don't do the steak Pittsburgh style, but whatever they did to my New York strip makes my mouth water just remembering it! They have awesome service both at the bar and when you are seated. the restaurant seems like a diamond in the ruff! Simple floor plan, nothing fancy, but the service and the incredible steaks blow you away!

Its a nice restaurant, it has that old time feel to it of a traditional steak house. The service is fair, the steak is good however you may have to ask for extra seasoning for it. The prices are reasonable, I have enjoyed every visit.

This was an amazing dinner. I had steak and it was tender and delicious. My wife and I are from Chicago, and are thus used to very good steak. I was pleasantly surprised that my steak at the Speckled Perch was the best I've had. We were hesitant to go, given the unassuming exterior, but our relatives said it was good, so we did, and we don't regret it. My wife said the chicken was very good, too. One of the highlights of our visit to Florida for Christmas!

Updating. This time we got the sautéed onions with the steak and they are a must have! Also we were finally able to get the bourbon pecan pie ( they were out on our other two visits) and it was very good. Filling was awesome but the crust was standard frozen pastry. I would eat it again. I'm going to be getting the onions every time though. The filet steaks are to die for! Make mine rare!

Don't be dissuaded from trying this one out by the ugly facade of the business location nor the windowless dated and dark inside decor because their meats are cooked very tender and juicy an appetizer of fresh raw celery sticks, carrots and black olives is free of charge. No frills here we just come for the steaks that my Bar-b-que savvy husband cannot emulate!

The food wasn't that great! Seemed to be over priced for the city that it was in! We tried this place because it seem to be the only steak place in town! It really was a let down!

Don't be scared by the exterior!! Yes, there are no windows, and yes, it is a siding enclosed building, however, once your eyes adjust to the darkness, you can enjoy the small county town charm that this family restaurant has. The health conscious side of me really enjoyed the complimentary fresh veggies (carrots, celery, radishes, black olives, pepperoncinis) served with the most amazing (ranch?) dressing I have ever tasted. Steak was cooked to perfection, was not overpriced, and was very good. And you must try the fried cheesecake! If you plan on sticking around for a Saturday night, let your server know because he gave us passes to the Bream Room to save on the $5 cover. Live band, real cowboys, impromptu line dancing! If you're not used to that, this is a very fun and authentic experience!
