What a great meal. My favorite is the Cool Roll. I love setting at the bar and watching the Sushi Chefs work of their talents as they create such amazingly delicious and beautiful food. For lunch of dinners I recommend going.

LOVE :) great sushi for a great price. I got the maki combo with salad and two California rolls and it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend this place!

The quality has gone up under new management. The sushi is in keeping in price with other local sushi places. The ambiance is dim and relaxing, but the conversation is easily heard from table to table. The music is a little loud, but perhaps they're trying to compensate for the echo of customers voices. All in all, the FOOD is what I expect. You should come and follow up with a stroll to the local small business in this quaint, old downtown square.

Really good AhiTuna. I was disappointed when they were out of both Kirin IchiBan and Kirin light. Maybe it was just because it was NewYearsDay but they were certainly understaffed. We will go back and give them another chance because the Ahi was simply outstanding.

Great sushi at average price. Only went once but it was pretty good and the service was good too. The waitress was very helpful. I had the kind with cucumber instead of rice with salmon and avocado with some type of vinegar dressing.

was creepily slow when I went, but the staff was nice, and the chef was great. Will definitely visit again when I am in the area.

This was my third visit to Sushi Bistro. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is really nice! They were understaffed though (could have been an off night) so it did take a long time to even get our drinks, but it wasn't a big deal. The food was okay. I had them veganize their Cool Roll and that was fantastic but their Teriyaki Tofu Bento Box left a bit to be desired. It isn't a bad place, it just isn't a great place.

We dropped in tonight in the hopes of having an appetizer before the movie. It took forever to get our drinks, and we waited an hour for our order. While we waited, we saw at least four tables sit and then leave without getting food. Our server apologized, and was clearly the only person working out front. An hour later, the manager showed up, chewing gum and rubbing his nose. What a shame when dt Ocala is doing so much to attract people into the heart of the city. Go to Grace instead. Wonderful service, terrific food.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Crazy Tuna Roll and Spring Rolls were great. I will definitely be back soon. Downtown Ocala is a great fit for the Sushi Bistro.

As an avid sushi go-er this isn't anything special. Miso soup was cold, ginger salad tasted funny, place smelt like old bleach, fish was slimy and smelt funny. Oh and my roll was "made wrong" so it took chef 40 minutes to make. Meanwhile everyone in my party received there food on-time and was done eating by the time I got it. I will not be returning.

The food is really good. I lobe JB tempura, I can can only find it there... But the service is terrible. Every time. It's really just lazy service, but it feels more like poor management...

Had such a nice meal here. Onion soup was wonderful on a cold night. Edamamae was delicious and the Red dragon roll was the bomb. I also ordered the slap your mama roll on the back page and it was THE BEST! ( I asked for the shrimp to be steamed instead of fried and it was no problem). Good value for what we got (and we were so full). This is a definite must while in Ocala, and we will be back to try some more interesting rolls (back page)! Thanks!

I am so excited to have a sushi restaurant downtown Ocala. The first time I went the food was just ok so I decided to give it another try. I tried it again and tried a couple different rolls and really enjoyed it. I love the decor. The spicy mayo just isn't as good as I like. Too mayo tasting. I am a sauce person. I will go back. I was gonna go today for lunch but they don't open till 3 on Sundays? :(

Went here for lunch on a weekday. It was pretty empty inside, and we were seated right away. Our server was a short Asian lady with shoulder length hair. Never got her name. She was a sweetheart. The owner was sweet too, checking on us a couple of times, which was nice. I ordered off the little lunch special menu that was on top of the table. Tried the sampler appetizer (fried crab & cream cheese wontons, shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, spring rolls). You get a total of 8 pieces, two of each, with dipping sauces. That was delicious. I also ordered a California roll and a Caliente roll. The California roll was pretty typical, but the Caliente roll was a great surprise. Crispy fried fish, spicy red mayo, lettuce and avocado. Drizzled with some kind of dark sauce. Awesome. Lunch prices were great too. My check was $19.44, and I had the sampler appetizer, two sushi rolls and a drink. I was stuffed. Great place.
