I had the black bean and avocado tacos. Excellent! Nice selection of craft beer. Service was outstanding. New place to eat when in town for work.

This place was simply everything you could want in a hip, lively, casual yet upscale fresh pizza not to mentioned brunch, rooftop bar, etc. Their "pi's" were gourmet but not over the top. We enjoyed the variety in the cocktail menu- certainly the Saturday brunch with $5 mimosas is a great deal too. Dining outside at their rooftop bar and table area is a treat- overlooking one of the main streets of Ocala- they even allowed for our small dog to be up there with us. The service was fast and friendly and eager to please. This is my new go-to- place anytime I am traveling through Ocala - within 5 minutes of the highway and open early until late 7 days a week!

We stopped in for dinner and started with the hummus with homemade pita bread and that was a great start. My boyfriend said that it was some of the best hummus that he has ever had. We also had the small tomato, red onion & cucumber salad with feta cheese & vinaigrette dressing - fresh and delicious. And had a veggie pizza that was very flavorful. The tomatoes & spinach on it and the marinara complimented the perfectly cooked crispy thin crust. Great & friendly service, good beer and wine selection and nice atmosphere. If the weather had been warmer, we would have sat on the topside patio and watched the world go by. Clean restaurant, delicious food, good service. What else could one ask for? I highly recommend this little gem. You're welcome. :-)

The food here is really good. I don't like the stairs though, after a few drinks they can be scary. Sometimes there is good music upstairs, sometimes it's bad cover bands. You'll find all ages here, from just out of high school to heaven's waiting room.

I was cruising around Ocala while in Florida last weekend, after having lived there 20 years ago I wanted to see how things looked. Yelp made my day as it has many times before when my family and I started looking for lunch. We picked Pi based on the fact that it was well reviewed and new to us. I'm so glad we didn't have to go to one of the chains along the main drag near 75! We split a few pizzas - the carbonara was so rich and delectable - and some craft beers and talked about what had changed in town and what had stayed the same. Everything was great and the beer selection was impressive, I'm glad Ocala has a place like this! Had we been in the mood for brunchy things, that part of the menu looked good as well. My parents appreciated trying something interesting and kept saying how good it was, so, thanks again Yelp!

Super good pizza and a fun atmosphere too. Especially upstairs and in the outdoor seating!! Fun Sunday night when you are just visiting on your way through Florida. Excellent ingredients. Great crust.

Food was all fresh & local. Everything could have used a bit more seasoning. We had hummus, spinach salad, fish tacos, mahi sandwich & Caesar salad. A buffet we all shared.

5Stars from me! Love this spot! Just moved to Ocala from Orlando about 4 months ago, best spot in town for food, beer and music on the weekend. Chill atmosphere overall and the craft pizza and craft beers are awesome! I can eat there 4days a week at least if I want to cause the craft beer selection is always different everyday and the pizzas a re all original. The staff is great and on a nice day you have to sit upstairs outside for a cool view and experience!

I would move to Ocala just to go here every weekend. We were lucky enough to get a table downstairs around 7 pm on a Friday night, and our server (who was one of the owners brothers, I think) was awesome and still let us get bogo beers. I am a beer snob, and the beer they have is absolutely amazing. The stout my dad ordered was the best I've ever had. If only the rooftop dining wasn't full, we would have enjoyed the perfect pint, but sitting downstairs is still very comfortable. It's fun to watch them work the open brick pizza oven. We created a Pi, and it rocked. Great fast service (they were packed and when we ordered something he went and got it right away), better beer, excellent food. Lots of kids at the place, but they added to the atmosphere.

Great food, cold beer and great entertainment! Give them a try! Service is always decent downstairs. Upstairs more like a bar atmosphere but that works at certain times. All in all, it's a great diverse food and entertainment experience!

Solid pizza and tapas menu and had a knowledgeable bartender for their craftbrews (great selection). If I have to come back to Ocala for business again, this will be my go-to spot. Weather was crappy so looking forward to checking out the deck.

Went upstairs to the deck sat down for 10 minutes and waited for service and no one ever came so we went back down finally got waited on , ordered the BLT it was good but my drink was so so and I would of rather had service upstairs before we ate , this was a Friday night , Also my daughter and I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon sat for 10-15 minutes again no one, so we left and this time it was downstairs the service is horrible won't go back , they need improvement on this matter or no one will come back unless your drinking and maybe not the drinks aren't that great !!

Pi on Broadway is a craft beer and tapas oasis in Ocala! We were fortunate to dine upstairs on the rooftop which provided a beautiful backdrop to our yummy meal. Their menu features tapas, sandwiches, salads, pizza's and a nice selection of craft beers on draft and in bottles/cans. The menu provides many options so it took a minute to completely take it all in. Eventually, we decided to go with an assortment of tapas and a pizza to keep things interesting. Everything was very tasty but the major stand outs were the Baja Fish Taco's, Clams with Garlic and Chorizo and the Quatro Fromage Pizza. The tacos were made with lightly battered mahi mahi which had a little spicy kick and they were topped with shredded cabbage and a creamy sauce.. The cabbage added to the crunch factor and also kept the taco's nice and fresh. The clams were excellently prepared with a pilsner which was seasoned with garlic and chorizo, yummy! Then finally there was the pizza. The Quatro Fromage consists of ricotta, gorgonzola, mozzarella, goat cheese and roasted garlic. All four of the cheeses melted beautifully together and were further complemented by the garlic and crispy crust! We were contemplating key lime pie for dessert but were entirely too stuffed! If you find yourself in Ocala and are craving a craft beer, great food and a rooftop view visit Pi on Broadway!

Came during happy hour and had 2 for 1 pints of craft beer- cannot beat 4 great beers and a pizza for $20. Our server was great, super attentive and sarcastic. We sat on the roof which was lovely. I really like their little newspaper look to the menu- very cool touch.

Horrible service, but I'm not sure if this was a self serve place and even if it was none of the staff were friendly or even wanted to give a helping hand. Sat in there for around 10 minutes and then went up to the bar and none of the staff would meet our eyes. Kinda seem like they just paid attention to regulars.

This place has a nice atmosphere with several micro brew selections. Even when it's busy you can get served pretty quickly. The rooftop bar has a nice view but is usually pretty packed on Friday/Saturday with not much room to stand and even less room at the bar. Downstairs is a little less crowded. The food is good but not cheap. The beer selection can be pricey but it's the average price for the specialty beers they serve.

The lower bar is pretty plain but pretty much always has seats available. The upper open air bar provides for fresh air and some excellent people watching. The drinks are overpriced but they do have a few draft beers you don't normally find on tap.

Finally a night out in Florida! Pi on Broadway was a great starting place for the night. My colleagues met up for dinner to dine on some pizzas and beers. We got the tomato goat cheese dip, empi nadas, lana'i, florentine, and carbonara pis. A good amount to share among 5 people, Id say.. The empinadas were delicious, the florentine and carbonara tied for first, while the lana'i was a disappointment. I thought the pi was lacking in something, perhaps more sauce or juicier pulled pork? The dip was so so. Service was good when it the restaurant was emptier. But as it filled up, our drinks remained low. Venturing up to the roof top patio, I was pleasantly surprised that a place like this can exist in Ocala. There was live music too! while Josh kept the vibe going, the bar kept the drinks flowin. The views were definitely enjoyable. Though most of the tables were filled, you can find seating on the sides easily or stand around. If I lived in the area, I can picture Pi as my regular watering hole.

We used to go here pretty regular for their Tuesday night special... 1/2 price on any pizza. They are brick oven and very good. A bit pricey though for pizza, so Tuesday nights were a great deal. This past Tuesday, we went in to discover that now they only offer their choice of one Pizza of the Day that is half price. Although we will still go in, it won't be near as often. Service is also a bit slow at times, but the staff has always been very nice.

Excellent upscale menu and atmosphere. Roof top is excellent except during heat of summer. Glad they survived. A great addition to the downtown.

Craft beer, craft beer, craft beer! Excellent selection of brewski's to satisfy my inner beer snob. The taps here resemble items you would find at a much larger brew pub. I was extremely happy (could have been the beer effect) with the service and friendliness at this nice little place in small, downtown Ocala! The pizza's - while not overwhelmingly delicious, where hot, used fresh ingredients and satisfied my hunger. I also enjoyed the upstairs patio, overlooking the square. I was not expecting such a cool place in this town! Great job to the owners!

I would say this is the only place worth going more than once in dt Ocala. Great selection of beers, pretty good food, decent crowd. But the best is when they have live music.

Man! Two for two in my new exploration of good restaurants in Downtown Ocala. This time its Pi on Broadway. The atmosphere is great, the food selection is out of this world, and the beer and wine selection (the good stuff) can't be beat. Sure there is the Ale House for beer selection and everyone who lives in Florida knows that but what Pi on Broadway has is a really diverse selection of micro brews from all over the place. Better yet they have Magic Hat on draft! If you have not tried this beer you have to do yourself a favor and try a pint. The food as stated is wonderful. Brick oven pizza in every design and flavor you can imagine. A full Tapas menu if that is what your feeling and everything from a gyro to a chicken philly with a kick! Try it out when you have a chance!

Went here by myself for a quick lunch before an appointment. I had read a good restaurant review in Ocala Magazine that made me want to try them. Service was not the best. Young man who waited on me was not rude or anything, but he was also not very helpful. Handed me a menu, pointed to two different sections and told me this is all they were serving for lunch at the moment. No tapas, which was disappointing. Just subs, pizza and salads to choose from. Young man didn't really check on me too much during my meal either. I ended up ordering the lana'l pizza, which is like a hawaiian pie, but much better. It was great. Not expensive either. Pulled pork, bbq sauce, asadero cheese, onion. Really nice. After I ate, I overheard a gentlemen at the bar (He may have been the chef) describing some of his dishes to a few customers, and also mentioning that they had delicious curry chicken empanadas which they should try. I would have loved to know about that, since I originally came in for tapas, but my server never mentioned any specials, even when I told him I was disappointed that there were no tapas. But anyway, even with the poor service, I would give this place another try. But next time for dinner, when they have their full menu and probably a different wait staff.
