Perfect place for a group for happy hour. Very diverse crowd and it was packed at 6pm. They have an outside patio area for larger groups and you can order from nearby restaurants and they will deliver your food directly to your table. I thought this was very cool. Anyway, they have tons of beer on tap for you to choose from. The ladies in our group went with a light beer that had blueberries floating at the bottom.. very delicious!

I've been here a few times, always with a group. Tons of beers to try, and the staff makes it easy as they recommend based on what you ordered previously. Try to get there early so you can grab a table, as the table service makes the entire experience that much better, either inside or outside.

Just in case... W.O.B. is a chain establishment that serves a most impressive selection of beers, but no alcohol or food. Wait staff is super friendly and polite, and it has that corporate-vibe if you know what I mean. The place is a little light on the charm-side, and while you're waiting on a beer you get the feeling that the concept was created by accountants rather than a pub owner. They have plenty of TVs, and there is no smoking inside. Men's room could use more frequent attention, but still within tolerances. The beer selection is huge with a very thorough and explanatory menu. Beer is super expensive. While servers are knowledgeable, and are good to offer samples and suggestions they seem easily overwhelmed. And all they serve is beer. Sit at the bar or risk "empty glass syndrome" while you are waiting. Pre-ordering a beer is a good idea if you're at a table. Draft beer menu changes frequently. The place really hops on Monday trivia nights, but servers get in the weeds almost immediately, and it is tough to find a seat. Trivia is fun, but cheating is RAMPANT. Jay Anderson, the trivia emcee does a great job, but he can't patrol the place. If you're not playing trivia, Monday evenings are a night to avoid as it is broadcast inside and outside the joint. They have fairly frequent beer promotions from different distributors. You can order food from some surrounding restaurants, but beware! Some of the close venues are only average to begin with, and when it is delivered, it can (literally) not be so hot. Accuracy for the two times I have ordered out was close, but no cigar. (Blue Highway and Dave's(?) Deli.) Since the place was designed with no food in mind table space is small and cramped. Summary: Great place to treat yourself to import beer styles, but too pricey (even with their buy-in "discount" club) to make it a regular hang-out.

I am a complete WOB groupie. My boyfriend and I frequent the Dadeland and Kendall locations in Miami and this new WOB came just in time for our move to Gainesville. Fantastic service and selection of beers. Can't wait to visit again for some live music and trivia. Also, make sure to grab the WOB Loyalty and WOBU cards for nice discounts.

There is great beer on tap here. That's a huge win, and the taps get rotated regularly. There are also a lot of bottle selections. Another win for you bottle people. I've been twice, one time the bartender was super helpful, the other time the bartender seemed to be hired just for eye candy. So if you know your beer, you are set. If not, they offer samples if your bartender is clueless. Hopefully you get a good one. I wish they would be more attentive about serving the people that are standing behind the seated people. The tall redheaded bartender was great at this, but some of the other ones seem content to chat up the seated patrons rather than to work to get everyone served. Hopefully that will come with time/experience. I will definitely be back and will keep the review updated, closest good beer bar to my house, win for me.

This place has an extensive beer list in bottle/cans (8 coolers?) plus a good tap selection. That's really the main draw. You can also order food (you call) from 4 nearby restaurants, which is a nice option. Sometimes the service can be a little shallow, but generally its a good group. If you like trying new beer, definitely go. Also, sign up for the rewards card to keep track of how many different beers you've tried.

Great for certain occasions but it can get crowded. I've had a good experience every time. The big downfall is they don't really ever have specials. They will feature special beers, but it usually doesn't include a price discount. I usually go for trivia night or a sporting event. But it should be noted that on these days it gets really crowded. The wait staff has always been really nice, some times they are more knowledgable than others but all in all they are good. A plus is you can order Blue Highway Pizza while enjoying your beer at WOB.

What happened? I went to WOB on Sunday, 10-5-14 at night and the service was laughable. There were 2 girl servers, 1 male server, and a lot of empty seats. I waited ~5min to be noticed, ~5 min for a beer, and then ~5 for each beer following. I finally asked the bartender if she was new, to which she said yes. I asked what the specials were and they said there were none until 9pm. Brass Tap has 6 changing beers on special all day, everyday. All drafts have a lower price before 7pm on most days as well. Plus, since I am here, I might as well say it, bathrooms with no paper towels suck. It is not sanitary to have my hands blow dry then grab a handle to open the door to exit. Guys, your location isn't perfect, but I am willing to make the drive once in a while, however, with this service, miniscule specials, and no paper towels, Ill stick to Brass Tap for now. Does WOB do half off drafts on any certain night? Does it have a loyalty club that enables half off bottles on a certain night? I know WOB has a loyalty club that comes with some special, but I don't know. Perhaps someone can reply and confirm that for me because Brass Tap does.

First time here and I love the raspberry cider! Also the Son of a peach mixed with a lemonade beer which was recommended by our waitress was very good and refreshing. We will definitely be back to try more!

Packed, newly opened. Was able to grab a seat at the bar after a couple of flights at a table. The staff were mostly rookies compared to the Dadeland location but they were very friendly. Grab a seat at the bar for professional recommendations. We had to order flights blind but was fun.

Hate to say this but wob has wide selection of beer, horrible service. Wasn't this way when it opened. Has gone progressively down hill.
