We had a wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere was very pleasant and a very clean establishment. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend them for breakfast or lunch.

Under new ownership and recently renovated this favorite muffin spot of mine has stepped it up. Wonderful muffin selection on a Saturday morning (unlike in the past!) Make it your daily stop for breakfast or lunch!

My wife and I purchased the restaurant in mid June. Staff and menu came with the place. We spoke to a lot of folks and asked what they liked and what they would change. Food was ok, but restaurant felt tired. We invested in 2 new chefs who have years of professionals culinary experience, added an experienced baker to compliment my wife's master cake decorating skills. Upped our game with food quality and hired new counter staff to assure great, friendly, quick service. We then gave the restaurant a face lift a fresh coat of paint, and framed those great food pics taken by the previous owner. Chefs have not only raised the bar for food variety with our daily specials, homemade soups but have expanded our catering offerings as well. We pay a lot of attention to our world famous muffins, full breakfasts (no more microwaved eggs!), lunch and bakery items. I invite everyone to try us again, or for the first time. We post our daily specials on Facebook and our new website, SweetCarolinesNaples.com Come in and ask for Brenda or Scott, we would love to meet you!

Hopeful from the curb...disapointing when you enter. Muffins are stiff, not fluffy or moist. They don't toast their bread for their breakfast sandwiches! Very strange. It's also located right next to the hospital, NCH for that matter ("Never Coming Home" hospital!) & all the customers are visiting families or friends of the patients right next door, so needless to say the conversations you overhear in the small cafe is no doubt dreary. Two stars for the potential however. Wish them luck, and I love the name!

Normally, I love this place. I think the ownership changed. I waited today over 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. There doesn't seem to be organization or attention to detail like before. The chicken curry is very salty now:(! Maybe this is just due to the new ownership settling in, but I hope it changes.

I have to update my review. A few months ago we came here for breakfast and both for the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. The bagel was perfectly toasted, yet still soft and fresh. Just perfect. That day I also got my parents some muffins that were each a meal on their own. The muffins got two thumbs up from my mother and father. Just the other day, I decided to pick up some Danishes and lemon bars. OH MAN! I have never eaten a more delicious cheese Danish (a peach cheese Danish to be exact!) in my life. The pastry was flaky, and the cheese filling was just the right amount of sweet. I feel like the Danish had just been baked, it was so fresh, yet the cafe was closer to closing by the time I stopped in. And the lemon bars! Wow! Not tart, not dry, just perfect. I want a whole cake made of that lemon bar. If you want to support a local business, this place is it. The service is also phenomenal. The people working are the nicest!

After reading all the Yelp reviews we were slightly worried about service but I can honestly say we enjoyed ourselves. We arrived at 12:30pm on a Sat. and seemed to just hit the tail end of the rush. The staff was very nice and helped us with several menu questions. I had the classic patty melt which was toasted to perfection with 2 slices of Swiss cheese hugging the burger on both sides and covered with golden sautéed onions. The burger is Angus (as per the menu) and tasted good but looked like a store bought pre-formed frozen slab - boooo. In all honesty though, I would get it again because everything else was done perfectly. $8.99 I did speak to the owner about the burger patty and he promised me they would look into using hand made burgers so we can only hope! My wife got the homemade Traditional Chicken salad on fresh-made French bread which was delish and had grilled chicken, celery, tarragon, tomato, mayo, lettuce and she added white American cheese. She said it tasted VERY good and can't wait to try the cranberry/craisins/almond chicken salad one next. $7.75 Both came with a big pickle spear and bag of lays chips on a styrofoam picnic plate. Overall a good experience with fresh homemade food, great baked goods and nice service. Albeit a little pricy considering it's just a sandwich but worth it for the freshness and taste. We will def go back!

Usually stop here when I don't have time to leave the office at lunch, BLT is my fav. Everyone is very nice and attentive. But price is a little too much for what you get. Call ahead to order lunch so u don't have to wait in the long line and cramped space.

Strolled in here after getting blood drawn and quest and feeling a bit queasy . I can't help but feel they should focus on baked goods and ditch the breakfast cafe concept altogether. I had a croissant sandwich with sausage and although tasty it was very greasy. I also ordered French toast and it was mediocre. The bread was thin and there was nothing fantastic about it. The lady in the front was somewhat rude, maybe she was having a bad day. She was greeting customers as they came in and making chit chat, but she was just very serious. However, the cook in the back came out and brought me the French toast and he was so sweet. The coffee was bad. Like dirt water. Sorry but I could have made better in my keurig or cafetera at home. The baked goods looked pretty amazing. This place is more of a convenience than being somewhere I would go out of my way to eat at.

Mediocre for breakfast. Breakfast sandwiches average. Rise & Shine average and portioned small. Sweet Caroline sandwich not at all what was expected, a cold sandwich filled with chicken salad seasoned with curry powder and raisins. Not bad but prob wouldn't order again. French toast also average, and took an extra 5-10min to come out after others in the group were served. They did in fact reward us with a full stack when ordered a short stack. Not sure if hat was accidental but thanks! Ooo but the muffins were amazing!!!! Nonetheless service was excellent. Friendly and attentive.

Caroline's bakery turns out big loaves of bread and lots of muffins and cookies. The Peach Cobbler muffin was cake-like but not moist. I was disappointed to open the paper holder and find canned peaches layered under the muffin top. You order to go or to eat here. The patio's metal mesh tables save a lot on cleanup because crumbs will fall to the pavement. Clever! I ordered my muffin "for here", but had to request a warmup. The muffin felt a bit refrigerated from being in the glass display case. My daughter's breakfast sandwich was generous in ingredients, but it was served on untoasted bread. Sometimes you have to guard against assumptions. Who says breakfast sandwiches always arrive on toast? Especially since Carolina's is all about freshly baked breads. We'll know to specify next time. Kudos to the owner for taking her own food pics, blowing them up, and making a gallery in the windows and on the inside walls. They're very representative, greatly lit, and do the trick to make a customer consider all the varied choices here.

My fiance and I had the traditional chicken salad sandwich and the turkey natural along with some peanut butter cookies. We traded halves of our sandwiches so we could each try them both. The chicken salad sandwich was one of the best I ever ate. It was just the way I like it, with no weird stuff added in. The turkey natural was also very good, it had a really yummy honey mustard sauce on it- the alfalfa sprouts and cucumber I picked off though. The cookies were awesome, as well. This is definitely a place we will be ordering from again.

Visited here for breakfast two times about four weeks apart. Smallish place, with as much patio seating as interior, maybe 20 seats in each, in a small strip mall on the north side of Immokalee just west of Naples Community Hospital (north end of Goodlette-Frank Rd.) First, fantastic pastries. The cream cheese-raspberry danish was wonderfully rich and flaky. The blueberry muffin was large, moist, and wonderfully sugared on top (brown sugar, I think?) I grabbed half a white frosted, two layer white cake and that was fantastic too, althought the layers did not hold together. Cake and frosting were both just yummy. Less success with the cookies, they seemed dry and crumbly, maybe in need of a little more stabilizer. The real reason I went though was to try the breakfast sandwiches. They are offered with choices of cheese, meat and bread. I tried the bacon, egg and american cheese one visit, and the sausage, egg and american cheese on another, both on croissants. These have the potential to be just great breakfast sandwiches, but fall short. The croissant is fantastic, as you would expect from a bakery, probably the best I have ever had. The bacon was also yummy, and the sausage was a little savory but still pretty good. Where the sandwiches really drop off is the egg and temperature. The egg is a frozen yellow disk they microwave, and tastes like it. The sandwich is too hot when the cheese is applied, so it melts completely and you end up with a cheesy liquid coating your sandwich, rather than a slightly melted but still solid piece of cheese to taste. Honestly, if they would switch to frying up a real egg and letting the sandwich cool just a bit before laying on the slice of cheese, they would have the best breakfast sandwich in town!

Very impersonal service and near to rude. This cafe serves breakfast with diners menu but it is really weird that you pay upfront and coffee is by the cup size and no refills. If you're looking for a diner type breakfast look somewhere else. Breakfast should be your very first good experience meal of the day and this place easily spoils it. Hated this place!
