A GREAT Mexican Resturant. Friendly, fabulous ambiance, great food, good service. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter was extremely friendly. Our order came promptly and exactly as ordered (we add and delete various items). They have a variety of delicious sauces - spicey was just all out delicious. The meal was excellent (fajitas, soft tacos, cheese dip, guacamole, etc.) - large portions that are moderately priced (as compared to the Orlando, FL area). If I had a complaint, I could say it was not as good as some Mexican restaurants out west - TX / CA. However, for American Mexican, which most in the states prefer, it is hard to beat - and definitely one of the best Naples has ... I would say it is second only to "Mr" Tequila Mexican Restaurant on Hwy 41 in Naples, FL. "Senior" Tequila's has a nicer decorative appeal while "Mr." Tequila has better food with larger portions (most of the time).

I'm not a huge fan of Mexican but my lady loves it so... there you have it. I had the super nachos or whatever they call it ... with chicken. The restaurant was packed but that didn't seem to make a difference. The waitress was friendly and the food came out quickly. So as I said I'm not really a fan of Mexican but I looked down and realized I ate all of it. Every crumb, it was yum :p. I felt like quite the pig. I would have given 4 stars but the coffee sucked. I've noticed some people are having trouble finding this restaurant, ... It's directly behind Starbucks.

2 out of 3 entrees had hair in the rice. When brought to the attention of our bartender. He didnt seemed surprised adding " ya i know" "ill tell them" no further discount was offered nor applied. Such a disappointment coming from 3 people in the biz..:/

The service is really good here. Always very friendly and helpful. I really like the food as well, although I find the portions to be a bit enormous. The margaritas are big enough to swim in! Overall a tasty place with good service IMO.

Below average food at above average prices. Smallish portions. Slow service. Go else where unless you are at a nearby hotel you don't have a car and you MUST have Mexican.

Very good salsa and chips. I ordered the Burrito and it was perfect. Service was good and food was served fast. Very authentic. I would recommend to any one looking for a good casual dinning experience.

Ordered takeout from here. Having never before eaten at this establishment there was a bit of a stickershock. The prices are high, but the food is very good. The spices are what sets this place apart. This won't be one of my regular places because of the cost, but when I am in the mood to splurge on pretty good mexican food, we will be back.

We just stumbled into this place while driving from Tampa to Miami. It is just a short drive off of I-75. To start, parking is difficult -- even when the place is not busy. The shopping center where this place is located is a navigational nightmare. We had to park about a block from the restaurant, and then had trouble figuring out how to get out when we were done. The restaurant itself is nice, and the food is tasty. I would say that the prices are quite high. Most of the dinners were in the $15 range, which is a lot for Mexican. Also, our server seemed rather indifferent and disappeared for long periods of time. All in all, with the high prices and OK service -- and the frustrating of getting there and parking -- I would probably skip it the next time we are in town.

Decent place. Food is average. Best tip is to do the combo dinners. Some are cheaper than one item. I don't like that your only option is rice and beans. Guacamole is great. The salsa that they bring is awesome too. Staff is always friendly.

Queso is decent. If you're coming here for happy house don't bother with the 'house margarita' because you are getting Jose cuervo premixed margarita in a giant margarita glass. It's not worth the $7.75. But if you do choose to stop by senor tequila, do get the skinny margaritas. They are better. (If you want Jose Cuervo margarita mix go to any liquor store) Also, this is my second time at senor tequila and I haven't been wowed by the food or experience. Although, the aesthetics of the place are pleasing the food is overpriced for the quality.

Now, I understand restaurants can have bad days. So, saying that, our experience was terrible Food, no flavor whatsoever, and the drinks are made to strong. Please keep in mind, I'm not saying that's a bad thing in most cases! But when you can't even taste the margarita, only liquor, there's a problem. So if you want horrible food, service, but straight liquor, save your money and just go to a package store and Taco Bell- please do not contact me to give me gift certificates or fix this, we will not go back. Thanks anyway

Living in New Mexico, I've gone to several restaurants similar to this one. Starts you off with unlimited chips and salsa of course, and I was pleasantly surprised by the heat they had to offer. They bring both hot and mild to the table, and the mild is basically just a pico de gallo. Good flavor. I ordered the chimichanga and after delicious utterly perfect ones in my life, it was just alright. I enjoyed it, but for almost $15 it was a pretty big rip (especially considering I've had them three times tastier for half the cost)! I guess I just have to keep on keeping in mind that this IS a Naples based restaurant. One thing I give mad props to here is their Queso. Pleeeease, if you like cheese dip, shell out for this magnificence! It's white (chihuahua) cheese, has a tiny little kick to it, but the most perfect creamy cheesy texture. I honestly put it in my top five of all cheese dips ever, and that's hard to do. Throw a smidge of hot salsa on that chip with cheese and you're golden. The service was pretty terrible for the first half of the meal. Water refills? Nope. Not for nearly 15 min. We kept having to ask for more salsa from random people we sought out, for our waiter was not in sight. At the end of the meal the gratuity had already been added and we were only a party of four. Being a great tipper myself, I wasn't unhappy about paying the percentage of course, but I do feel like it may have contributed to the kind of slack-ish service. If you already know what you're getting from the table ahead of time, you tend to try less. Their jalapeños were HOT. We ate some raw on top of our entrees and I literally cried. I guess they say they sprinkle lime and salt on top and it gives them a bigger kick. Not sure about this myself, but whatever it was, it definitely did burn. I would go back again for that cheese dip; but I feel like I'd rather just order a beer and cheese dip and munch my life away... Just wasn't that impressed with the entrees. Still, if you have the money to blow and are craving Mexican and a pretty good ambiance, I guess it's worth your opinion. Do not leave without trying the cheese!!!

The food is ok although I will say the first time I went I had the caldo de res and it was delicious and quite a large portion. The service is a bit slow which is why I don't frequent too often. The portions of all the dinner combos are quite large which is nice.

Great Mexican food for Naples! Huge portions, rally great service, awesome margaritas on the rocks. I love their avocado tostadas and guacamole. Husband loves their enchiladas since their enchilada sauce is homemade. Denver had a bad experience!

Ambiance is nice, but prices were higher than I would expect for Mexican food and the food was so so. I grew up in Southern California, so maybe my standards are high or just different. The chips seemed purchased, not made in house, but the salsa was fresh and one had a nice heat and flavor. The guacamole was not impressive - seemed to be made with avocados and something else - sour cream or some filler. The ceviche tostada was good sized, but was just ok flavorwise. Service was nice, but a bit on the slow side. Also happy hour did not have any food specials and their beer specials didn't include any Mexican beers, only Bud products which was a bummer. Other tabled did seem to enjoy their margaritas. There are some other options in town that offer a more diverse menu, better quality, and better prices.

Went with the folks here only to experience a boring, tasteless Mexican meal...so I was pretty disappointed. But that's food wise because they do deserve a few points for the yummy house gold margaritas! Even if the waiter felt he should explain to me how good Patron Gold is, in a margarita....ah if he'd only known about my liquor cabinet and overworked liver. Back to the food... Ordered the Queso Fundido which is a blend of mozzarella and other cheeses...(cough, cough) excuse me, did you type Mozzerella? At a Mexican restaurant? The classic Italian fav?! Why yes I did! And it was runny and similar to a cheese whiz flavor with a few green chillies sprinkled in...boring! And tough to put on tortilla chips without making a drippy mess. Bummer :( Then came my entree of a chalupa and an enchilada. Now I kick myself for not taking a pic of this embarrassingly large fried flour tortilla which in no way resembled a traditional chalupa. This 10" (yes! 10"!) fried tortilla came folded like a Venus fly trap filled with tasteless shredded chicken, lettuce and cheese inside and somewhere under it all was buried the gem of a tasty cheese enchilada. The chalupa was impossible to eat and not even worth trying. I'm guessing they thought the shock factor of the presentation would blind people to the lack of flavor. Desert was a sopapilla which arrived with apologies for no chocolate sauce. That's actually not what the waiter should have been apologizing for...try explaining why the sopapilla was flat and not puffy with air which is what elevates a tortilla to a new level. When the waiter saw my moms bewildered face, he explained that a sopapilla was just a tortilla. Funny part is that my mom is Mexican and didn't have the heart to tell him how wrong he was on so many levels. Bless his uninformed clueless soul! Service was good though, gotta give them that but the kitchen needs a few real Mexicans back there cause the food falls way short. Not going back. I'll make my own margaritas.

Wait staff has changed but is better and friendlier. I got the chimichangas . One shredded beef and one chicken. I liked the chicken way better. I've never cared for the rice or refried beans. They taste flat and unflavored but my 2 year old likes him. My husband had the menudo soup and he liked it a lot. But he didn't care for the tortillas that came with them. Also I miss the other chips you would get when you first sat down. The new ones taste like an off brand of tostitos. If you do go you must try the queso dip it is really good but eat it fast because once it starts to cool it gets very thick and not dippable.

The chips and pico were the highlight of the meal and the rest was downhill from there. Very expensive for what you get, although the portions were good size. Just didn't get great flavor in two of the three entrees (arroz con pollo and chimichanga) while the enchiladas suizas were good. We won't go back anytime soon.

Wow. If only there were 10 stars. This is by far THE best Mexican food I have ever had. It was fresh and delicious. I live in miami and I'm saddened because there isn't a Mr.Tequilas here. I'm honestly considering driving up to naples just to eat there once more. I ordered the steak fajitas. So so so so good !! I even wrote them a gratitude email. I sound crazy but Mexican food is my new favorite !

Not a Fan at all! All I wanted was to sit outside, have a yummy frozen margarita and some nachos n salsa. Well I should've went elsewhere. The $7.99 Cadillac margarita was tasteless and very unsatisfying. The chips were not fresh and the salsa seemed to be made of old tomatoes. So foolishly I though a menu item might be better. Wrong! Veggie Fajitas were made with frozen vegetables. No lie. I bit into a steaming veggie to find a frozen center. The rice and beans were good and the guacamole was acceptable. Completely unsatisfied I decided to give them 1 more chance or to at least drown my disappointment in tequila, I ordered their lime house margarita. Well that sealed the deal for this bad review! It tasted horrible! I couldn't drink it! I did tell the server about the bad margarita but I now wish I would've spoke to the manager about the poor food quality as well. Oh well, now I know and you do too! PS- service is very slow

Senior Tequilas recently opened up so I was excited to try it out. Decor was comfortable and the service was friendly. We tried the chile relleno and birria chivo stew. The relleno was delicious but I didn't care for the chivo. A little too much fat on the meet. I'll definitely try this place again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization.
