We love Rita's, when we lived in New Jersey we had one down the street. I checked in on Yelp and received Buy 1 get 1 free. You can't beat that.

We came in with three kids and three adults and the staff was very friendly. They explained the menu options and gave samples. I had the gelati with coffee ice and chocolate custard, it was very good! Everyone liked what they ordered, from custard to Italian ice to blendini!

I mean, how can you go wrong? There's not much else to say. All Rita's locations are pretty standard--high standard, that is. Yum!

We went into the store to celebrate 2 birthday coupons. We are a family of 5, so we were going to buy 3 items at least. Due to the archaic method of offering their birthday coupons (must be printed out on paper and must be used during the week prior to the birthdate), we let one expire and accidentally viewed one coupon before printing it out. So, we printed it out, Ran to the store, and were told we couldn't use it because the coupon said "sorry you've used this twice". Now, if it was my store I would have a policy to honor the coupons. No questions asked. Just to get a little business and pass on some good customer service. However, perhaps because the employees are under strict guidance from management or because they didn't care, they refused both coupons. Nor did they offer an option to keep our business. So we left, and we did not do business with Rita's today. Too disappointed birthday girls and too disappointed semi regular customers.

OMG!! Amazing! Italian ice and ice cream, what can be better after a long day on the beach? Cherry ice and vanilla soft serve is terrific! Coffee ice cream with chocolate Italian ice is also great, according to my friends. Be sure to stop at Mulligans pub before or after for a complete meal!

I don't really get the reviews slamming the high schoolers for being surly: A) that's part of the appeal! High schoolers giving you free samples but also singing Taylor Swift lyrics to each other, ya know? (key point here: FREE SAMPLES, LOTZ) And also: B) I've had nothing but decent (generally seamless) service here. Finally: C) we've all had high school / college jobs like these, so just toss a few coins in the "college fund" tips box, k? The Rita's combos baffle my Dad; he just goes for the standard custard, which eats like a soft-serve and comes in either a standard or waffle cone, or cup. I like the gelati, in particular the Florida orange ice. CREAMSICLE ALERT when paired with vanilla custard. Plus, it's made with *actual FL oranges* *I found some rind, so it's legit*. The gelati is basically a layering of custard, ice, swirl of custard atop. It's refreshing and delish. Yelp note: Rita's is franchised, so go to each individual franchise site for location-specific deals. Weekdays can get you and your gang some solid deals on ice!

My chocolate custard with chocolate sprinkles was soooo good! I was going to order a regular but my husband convinced me to order a large (we used the Yelp BOGO offer). I honestly thought that he would eat most of mine as well, but alas, that wasn't the case! Sidney and Aria did a fine job of managing quite a line and were very friendly. Why did these close in Tampa??? :(

Not much to say, expect it's delicious! Rich and Creamy Italian Ice! Plenty of flavors to choose from. Very friendly staff, patient and smiley faced. Definitely fulfilled our dessert craving.

This is a really nice ice cream shop. The custard is out of this world: it's creamy and tastes similar to whipped cream. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Was in Naples this weekend and had just finished walking under the blazing sun at the zoo. Was in dire need of a frozen treat :) I have never tried custard before so the idea itself was alluring. Went with a Gelati. Vanilla custard and root beer Italian ice. Mmmmm. It hit the spot. I loved how the vanilla flavor blended with the ice to create something similar to a root beer float. The custard itself was sweet and cold, but I realize that I prefer soft serve.

Nice little place next to Publix across from the mall on US41. Great joint to bring the kids for a treat or to get a delicious and fresh italian ice to cool you down from the summer heat. The help was very nice and welcoming. I was a little sad when they didn't have mint chocolate chip.( Apparently they change flavors daily). Also, my "large" was a lot smaller than what I was expecting when she handed it to me. But maybe Im just a giant fatass.

I reaaaaaalllly wanted to like this place. We were searching for an ice cream joint while spending the night in Naples and we popped in Ritas. The options looked exciting and tasty! Blizzard like creations with even more topping options than DQ - yum! This really interesting Italian ice + custard creation called Gelati, a variety of italian ices to choose from, soft serve custard, sundae's and custom drinks. What's not to like? We got a Blendini (blizzard) and a Gelati. Like I said I really wanted to like these two items because the idea is there, but the execution wasn't. The soft serve custard was awful. It was just way too thick, somehow felt luke warm and not the refreshing cold treat you're looking for on a hot day. The Gelati was the same, the italian ice was too thick! It had strange texture too, like tiny little balls with too much syrup, not really cold shaved ice with tarty good flavor. That paired with the warmish too thick custard was not enjoyable. The idea is there! It looks so tasty! I want to love it! I want every time I travel out east to say "We have to stop by Rita's" but it was just kind of icky. Sorry Rita!

I love Rita's! My boyfriend and I get a treat here like once a week because he works at Publix next door. My favorite is the Gelati. I like to mix blue raspberry and cherry ice (just realized you could do two flavors on my last visit!) with the vanilla custard. The custard always looks like a little dollop of heaven on top of my italian ice. It's so creamy, tasty and always the perfect shape to top my Gelati. Rita's is cheap, fast service, delicious and staff makes my experience there just that much better. Make sure you sign up to receive their emails and download the app! After x amount of punches, you get a free treat!

Ice and custard married? Yep, didn't think Italians married outside of their own? Here you put the two together, and it is pretty good stuff. I am from the old school and prefer it plain either custard or my usual Mango ice. Across from Coastland mall, easy access, clean, friendly staff that will explain their many options, the menu can be confusing at first. They offer what they call cream ice, gelati and much more, even birthday cakes. Perfect for the lactose intolerant like moi. Come on in, join their texting specials and look out for coupons. Indoor or outdoor seating, but you know how I feel bout sitting on cement facing cars driving by and the parking lot.... not exactly romantic and I prefer to save my lungs for a good cigar.

Delish!! Rita's Italian Ice Naples has the best custard EVER!! They have signs that say serving up happiness, but staff are mostly angry teenagers who do everything they can to clearly indicate they hate serving italian ice to people. Tastiest flavors are cherry combined with custard, and they also serve up sour patch kids...awesomeness in a cup. Also, tried root beer..yummo! They also have Rita's version of Mcflurries....with all the incredible toppings you could ever ask for.

I want to give this place a five star and receive a coupon but I just can't. Althought their custard is great, the girls behind the counter on Aug 13, 2013 at 3:30pm were very rude and thought they were being cool by being snotty. I'll go down the street to a different location from now on.

Yum-O. That pretty much sums it up. Ice-custard-happiness indeed! This cute little place never disappoints. Great location in the heart of Naples, you can stop in and cool off from the steamy SW Florida heat. Don't leave without trying something new! The friendly staff will literally let you try EVERY flavour (and they are plentiful) without giving you any attitude. They will even share nutritional info if you request it, but don't because it will just spoil your fun. They've added delicious huge hot soft pretzels to their menu and I highly recommend them for an appetizer before your custard. :o)

Fantastic custard and the watermelon flavored ice is the best. Great location as well. Service was alright so I cannot give them 5 stars. Staff appears to be made up of high school or college students.

I ordered a custard cake and it was so good. Brownie on the bottom. A success for my 9 year olds birthday party. Highly recommend!
