Regina's is soooooo good. It is not a big chain, just a mom and pop. And unfortunately Regina, the parrot, is no longer there but it's awesome. Go! Downtown cup o joe is one of the best

Best Ice cream joint in Naples. Right on 5th Ave south. Friendly staff. Excellent assortment of flavors. Lots of choices. Been going there for years.

I wasn't impressed with this ice cream shop. Maybe people fawn over this place because they grew up eating here, but I didn't see the draw. The shop is located on the main strip of 5th avenue south. Parking is located on the street only. The shop has an entrance at the front of the store and at the back that leads to a walk through alleyway. Inside the ice cream store you'll find 'The Ice Cream Club' ice cream. For some reason I thought this was an old fashioned ice cream place that made their ice cream. The freezers that held the ice cream looked pretty old, maybe the 50's theme, but some were cracked on sides, exposing the insulation. We tried the butter pecan, a scoop in a waffle cone for $6.69, pretty pricey but I guess it's because of the area. The gentlemen inside the shop wasn't too friendly & I didn't feel that welcome with all the signage they had up. 'Jukebox is NOT A TOY', 'Extra cup/Spoon 10 cents'. A lot of rules doesn't make someone feel too welcome. Overall I'd stick to some place else for the price & the ice cream.

Odor upon entering is like an old basement. This is an old Naples classic and smells like it. The woman who works here clearly preferred to be at home on her couch eating bon bons. We felt like we were intruding on her break. The store was empty, I wonder why. We spent almost $10 on 2 single scoops of ice cream? They sell lotto tickets. Save yourself while you can, Go down the street, lots of better choices. Not returning. The end.

We visited yesterday and it was fabulous~ great taste, great portions, great service. Went in tonight and a different clerk seemed disappointed to have a customer. As I pondered flavors he bit his fingernails and hangnails. When I picked my flavor, he used the same hand to pick-up a cone to start scooping (AFTER seeing me catch his hand in his mouth!). When I said something about it- he got mad and slammed down the cone. I left. I'm only leaving this in HOPES that the owner sees that he/ she needs to fire this filthy server before someone contracts his germs.

Delicious and original flavors. My family has been coming here for 27 years - it's a Naples staple!

Ice cream was great... But the help was extremely rude and not friendly. I even asked what you would recommend and he never answered me. I don't like to be ignored

Cute ice cream parlor right in the heart of 5th Ave in Downtown Naples. They feature Edy's ice cream and also has frozen yogurt, shakes, and other goodies. Bottom line: Fun little place. Just wished they had homemade ice cream instead of selling a packaged brand like Edy's (which is basically Dreyer's).

Cash only or Credit cards over $15. This is a neat little Olde Naples ice cream parlor. It has a collection of random vintage looking items shoved into this space. I wouldn't recommend eating at the small inside bar area because when the line forms, you are back to back with others and can barely turn around. There are about 3-4 outdoor tables if you really want to hand around. The ice cream tastes great and the staff has always been nice. Perfect stop as you stroll into 5th Ave.

Best ice cream place in Naples. Love the whole retro vibe they have going on. One of the only places I know in town that has superman ice cream! (Yeah, I know it's just vanilla ice cream but that's not the point!) Great place for families to go after dinner downtown!

Since moving to Olde Naples in the early 90s, Regina's has been a staple in my life. Of course then there was a parrot, later replaced by a fake parrot... and they sold Edy's and random light selections instead of the brand they sell now... but it was always good... and it still is. For a bit, I won't lie, I rejected Regina's solely on the fact they stopped carrying Edy's Malt Ball N Fudge. Technically, Edy's stoppped making it but I took it out on Regina's (and made my own version at one of those stone slab shops). Recent post meal on 5th we stopped in for a scoop of bubblegum (sisters' favorite) and what do you know... malt ball fudge exists again. Since they no longer carry Edy's, there was a price to pay: the vanilla base for my malt balls wasn't exactly the same, and the girls' bubblegum was an off-flavored pink instead of the traditional blue... but it still captured our hearts, and our tastebuds. Service is always great, and there are plenty of local and non local chotskies to add to your (cash only) purchase. I believe they do sell hot dogs and popcorn now, but I've always stuck to the ice cream based goodness. ATM and jukebox inside, seating inside and out.

Looks like a great old school place to have some honest, and not necessarily good for you, treats. The problem we experienced was the soft serve vanilla was not enjoyable and that is about as basic as you can get.

Yes, it's cute to a degree, but it's also crammed with stuff and has a slightly gaudy element to it. While personal preference will ultimately decide whether you like the decor or not, it did feel like it could use a good scrubbing... This place has a pretty wide selection of things, including shaved ice, hot docs, candy, t-shirts, lottery tickets, "frozen custard" (aka soft serve) and, of course ice cream. We only had the ice cream, which was just OK. It was not Edy's as another reviewer stated, but something generic sounding that probably came off of the local food service truck. At almost $4 for a small cone, I'd expect better...It would probably be better if they shrunk the menu and just got some better ice cream. So, this was is just OK to me...If it were cleaned up and had better ice cream, it would definitely have potential.

In the words of my husband, with ice cream, it's pretty much impossible to have a terrible experience, which is probably the only reason that Regina's ekes by with 2 stars. Walking into a joint that's got a functional juke box, you'd expect the old fashioned vibe would be carried over to the product... and by that I mean ice cream that tastes homemade rather than off-brand staledated stuff that will make you wish that you'd stopped by and picked up a pint of something else at your local grocery store. I will say that I was impressed by the plethora of flavors that they had on offer, and I thought it was cute that they offered malted drinks to go with their olde tyme feel. But the pistachio sundae we ordered was unforgivably bad. It managed to not really taste like pistachio at all, and instead had this weird off flavor that definitely wasn't natural and was offputting and yet undefinable. Even the big drizzling of chocolate sauce didn't help, which almost seems unfathomable and yet there you have it. As we strolled down 5th avenue, we passed at least three other ice cream places that looked infinitely better and we deeply regretted our decision to stop at Regina's. The sundae was pretty generous for $5, but man, I sure wish we had spent that money on something that actually tasted good.

Simple ice cream place. It reminded me like an old Carvel joint. My family liked it.
