I love it that they have happy hour from 4-7! My kids love to play with the dough they bring out just for them to play with. It usually keeps them busy the whole time. There food is always the same. GOOD!

Good food, but not for the price, I thought the lasagna would be a large portion, but it was small for 14 dollars.

The worst!!!!! Only have been here once Everybody told us how food was good well I had plastic in my food. The server was fine but the manager took 15 minutes to come and talk to me about it. I sat there and watch the manager talk to another table about nothing She offered to get me another meal but my wife was basically done with hers by then. So she said she would take the meal off. You think! First time and last time

Another hit or miss dinner spot in Naples. We usually order car side takeout, love the convenience, don't even have to go inside. Most of the servers are kind of young and snotty, or inexperienced, hence why we take out food home. Spent 61$ for 3 meals and an app, plus a tip for the to go person, get home and realize we're missing a side salad, there is NO sauce on my chicken parm OR fetticini Alfredo, my zucchini fritte app is about half the size of normal and missing the lemon garnish (what? I like to squeeze it over the zucchini), and the extra bread I requested wasn't in there either. I called to let them know the issues with my order. The manager I talked to was short and rude to me and wanted to send me a gift card...I told her no thank you. Olive Garden never fails me lol.

Very good food. Usually need to wait for a table but it's worth it. Cozy place to spend some time. Will visit again.

Entrees were good, everything else was not. Poor service maybe because we decided to sit out on the front patio. Waitress was not very good. Once we ordered dinners, she disappeared. Delivered salads but they were not great, especially the Italian which was the bottom of the bowl of a salad dressed long ago with wilted lettuce, tomatoes etc. After one bite, another server showed up with our dinners. We commented so she took them back, not good. They were brought back five minutes later but they were now only warm. We ate, had coffee and decided to get our check. Overall the dinner was not up to the level reflected in the bill. We have been there each time we visit Naples but we've decided Carraba's has gone down hill so we will take a break from visiting again.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was dead.. that would be fine except the service was horrible. The waiter didn't even say hello, just... want something to drink.. finally after 42 mins the food came (lasagna) and it was microwaved.. the outside was smoking but Luke warm, and the middle cold..still all of the servers just kept huddlong together.. will prob not go back again..

Every time we go to Carrabba's the food and service is always fantastic. You might have to wait a while for a table but they have call a head seating.

One thing I love about a good chain restaurant is that you should know exactly the flavors of what you're getting before the arrive. Consistency of a Carrabba's whether it's in FL or NV is what I come here for. Not feeling brave for exotic fare? Go to Carrabba's. The menu is middle of the road with no intestines or brains on the menu. Not feeling brave to try a local joint while you travel? You'll be comforted in knowing the food is going to taste good and the service is going to be good. Actually, the service at chains is what I like most. Yeah, the training probably sucks ass for the servers, but I love the consistency here too. I"m loving the Carrabba's. It's a great place for groups as well as kids. yay.

I ordered Linguine Pescatore and the scallops tasted surprisingly fresh my plate was also overflowing with mussels and to drink a Moretti on draft was a perfect meal to end a perfect day. But be warned these plates of food could put you in a food coma.

the food is usually pretty good...havent had any issues there my only issues are with serving... i hate it when they bring out the dinner before they even check and see if we have finished our salads and appetizers..let alone clear the plates first...so you are handing off salad plates while trying to make room for dinner plates.. so i will mostly stay with getting it to go....like we usually do

Monday. Waiting 1 hour for the entrees, 20 minutes for a sangria (!!!). Food is decent, but what a disaster with the service.

Firstly, I absolutely love the Carrabba's chain ... This one, NOT so much. The bread was old and didn't seem like the usual Carrabba's brand. I really hope that they haven't changed the recipe and/or supplier for their rolls. I ordered the Calamari and a salad. I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of both! The lettuce was wilted and veggies were old. Not cool!! The Calamari just didn't tickle my fancy at all...and it ALWAYS does. I am so glad that the 3 locations of Carrabba's in JAX are yummy!

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Came there to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary on Nov 14th. We were a party of over 14 people with several people over 80 years old. Though we contacted the restaurant over two weeks before they made us wait over an hour, and after that they put us onto a minimal number of tables with very little room to sit. We asked to speak to the manager a couple times, but the manager refused to meet us, or pay us a visit. I understand that this is a busy visit, but they made no effort to accommodate us. The least they could have done would have been to offer us some drinks, maybe even water... By the time we sat down we were tired, and the evening was ruined. Don't even remember the food, which I think was rather mediocre. I will not return.

I worked at this location for a year while I was in high school as a hostess. The food is very good, been eating it since i was 5 years old. If you come during the snowbird season however, i would not even try to get in. As a hostess i can recall times during the January-April months where we would up to a 2.5 hour wait. If you do plan on going, i would heavily advise that you do CALL AHEAD SEATING. It is NOT a reservation as many people think, but it puts your name on the wait list ahead of time so that when you get there your time should be about half of what it would be had you not called. Since it is Naples, the majority of the customer base are older. They often get grumpy if they have to wait too long (not the restaurants fault however, it just gets so busy) so be careful. I witnessed many occasions of people being yelled at for 'skipping' in front of others in line when they simply had made a call ahead.

We love Carrabbas! In a word consistent! Always great! Starting with the special olive oil sauce for dipping bread... I am convinced there are illegal substances in it. It is too good to be legal... though that will not stop us from eating it! The next amazing thing that you must try are the muscles. I don't care if you say you don't like muscles... order them and eat them by scooping the sauce and eating them out of the shell. It is the only way to experience it! On to the meal... who has room? The salad is excellent... and most item on the menu are great. I usually get the Mezaluna. Can never finish all, but still good the next day. (don't forget it in the fridge!) Also, if you have kids.. or you don't... ask for the dough to play with as you are looking over the menu!!

Reasonable food for a chain restaurant. Always crowded during holiday season, so make reservation early. Pick up service is excellent with attentive drive-in window. Most of the dishes are among the better mid-priced Italian entrees that I've had. Stick with the classic Italian entrees, parmagiana, pastas, lasagna, etc. Steaks are OK too. Stay away from the fried zucchini and calamari. These dishes were covered with so much salt and pepper, they were virtually not edible.

The only great chain I've found yet.. This is the highest ranking Carrabbas in the chain and with good reason... My favorite is the Filet Marsala but I've never had anything bad at this location.

This place was nice and clean. Waitress was quite pleasant. The food was very tasty. I thought Carrabbas had more pasta options, but I was still happy with my meal. I can't complain

Tried it again thinking it's been awhile and a few managers later. In short, next time going to Brio For the money not worth it. Service good but sat and froze at a table that slanted, yea got a kick seeing the oil on the plate and liquids all lean to one side. New gluten free shrimp Risotto won't last long on the menu. Take a lot of rice, add ketchup, throw in a few frozen shrimp (playing hide and seek) and you pretty much have the dish. Happy hour lasts till 7pm, you need it when you get your check.

Our server TANA BLUE was absolutely amazing!! She's by far the best server I've had in a long time and made my family's experience perfect! She is super sweet, knowledgeable, and great at meeting her customers needs! TANA gets 5 stars! House was was ok.. Pass and chose something better. Current specials are good quality (Follow Tana's recommendations) and the breaded ravioli can go. Breadth on ravioli should be banned. But the other specials were awesome.

Well after a recent remodel with a contemporary Italian look and an effort to bring the food quality back I have to upgrade my review. Much improved food quality, good service, and reasonable prices with a lot to choose from. Entry to Resturant is small and awkward to fit patrons waiting for a table ....needs to be fixed before season hits.

Use to love carrabbas. Food interesting and decent but it is not worth the price. I'd pay 1/2 what they charge and give them 5 stars

It's been 4 years since I was able to order my favorite dish, CHX Marsala from Carrabba's. We relocated to the west coast and they did not have an establishment in SF. We went early to miss the crowds, as we remember the dreaded 1 hour wait times. We made it right into a table. My wife and I ordered and here comes the salad, perfect no worries, our bottle of wine, perfect, then some bread, taste the same but less presentation at the table and the explanation about the 7 herd and spices into the olive oil, just a small spec of some kinda herbs in oil, no explanation. Ok no worries, then our main course. I know my wife's more excited than me because all she had listened to is me talk about CHX Marsala and the redskin potatoes from Carrabba's as she is hoping that I will finally stop bringing up food we could not get in SF. First thing I notice was the fact that Carrabba's must be saving a bundle on doggie bags. I would have enjoyed the CHX more if it had the same old taste I remember. It's not Carrabba's it has to be my taste buds are off but I think something was a little different. I enjoyed the food very much and I am in no way taking away from this dish. The Carrabba's owner was very pleasant, I grabbed him as he walked past thinking he was chef. I explained my questing of the dish and asked if things had changed. He blamed it on not enough butter. You couldn't ask for a classier guy, this guy not only sent us cake dessert but handed us a get ahead of the line card for our next visit (since we have small children) Definitely recommend having the staff (wait) being a little more interactive and spend more time with customers ( maybe we just caught her at a bad time) other than that we had a great visit and will be back. Once last note, don"t be afraid to order appetizer and dessert because you will have room to enjoy a full 4 course meal with out the doggy bag :)

I have been to better Carrabbas before. The service was a bit shaky and the portions seemed to be smaller than usual, perhaps we were given the half portions without asking. No complaints about the quality of the food however, everything did come out hot and tasty.

Went there for dinner, and although they were busy, we were seated right away. The waitress was fantastic just awesome service, and the food was also very good. One thing about this Carrabas the food is always very good and they are consistent great experience!!

One of my favorite places when i crave for italian food. I really like their antipasti plate , you get the mozarella sticks and bruschetta and calamari. Huuuuge plate! And the tomato sauce they use for all their dishes is just so smooth and balanced, never had it like this anywhere else. My favorite dish is the seafood manicotti, oh my god.. Delicious! And the house salad always sooo fresh and the greens are crunchy and it just makes my day better :) The chocolate martini is to die for, and of course.. tiramisu, the queen of desserts. And now, im talking about Naples location, so.. if anyone had a bad experience at this restaurant.. USA is big and chefs and servers are all different, so - understandable :) Other than that, enjoy Carabbas!

Constantly good food and service. While it's not unique in its fare it's always very well prepared and makes a satisfying meal. Grilled chicken. Sautéed spinach and green beans. Decent house wine. Fried Zucchini are surprisingly light.

Food was horrible and very over priced. We go to Olive Garden all the time and its great food and includes a salad. Felt that they overcharged you because of the area. My 8 yo was not even full after his kids meal and we had to give him food off our plate. Service was slow. Clean though.

I'm not really sure how we ever ended up in a chain Italian restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised, and have been dragged back (there is a story as to why I say dragged...will explain) multiple times since... The service here is always friendly, and I have to give them an A+ for having the patience to deal with my uncle...they are amazing. Calamari antipasti-delicious, not too battered,,and never overcooked...which happens a lot,so good job guys Cozza in Bianco-I love muscles, and while these were not the best I've ever had by far, they were good ....and now the reason we come, and I get dragged to Carrabba's...Tagliarini Picchi Pacchiu!!! Honestly, it's angel hair pasta with spicy tomato sauce....but something about how they make it here not only makes me order pasta, which I rarely do after having my taste buds spoiled in Italy, but makes my uncle drag me here at 11pm to eat it, (this being AFTER we have already had a fabulous homemade dinner with Grammy). Like Pinkyberry, and the rest of those inexplicably addictive things, Picchi Pacchiu will keep me, and my uncle begging for Carrabba's.

For a chain restaurant, this place is top notch. Food and drinks are good, and the waitstaff friendly and not overworked. Menu isn't too extensive, but I've always believed a smaller menu means a better product. Prices are also pretty reasonable.

I Heart Carraba's. You almost can't go wrong. We ate there a couple of weekends ago. Our server was friendly, without being in our faces. We ordered the Chicken Bryan ,( Yummy to the 10th power, then some!!!) It was cooked to perfection, and came with Fettuccine Alfredo, also fabulous . We also had the Sirloin Marsala, it was good but overcooked for my taste, I ordered med-rare, it was definitely med-well. I was too whatever to deal with it, plus that's the exact frame of time our waiter was off singing, and sweeping etc. Still satisfying though, because the mash potatoes and the Marsala sauce are so tasty. The bread of course steals the show, hot and delicious. (P.S. The oils's good, but we always order soft butter for the bread) My caeser salad was also quite good. Excellent value. Chain restaurant atmosphere.

This would be our 3rd Carrabba's. We "happened" into the one in Orlando when we were there and liked it. The closest to us is in Fort Lauderdale. This past weekend on a visit to Naples we decided to try the Carrabbas there seems that all are the same..good food, good service, and portions that are actually ...too...large... Don't bother with a appetizer, the Caesar salad and main dish is plenty of food. Veal Marsala is very good, Eggplant is very good...this is americanized Italian, a bit heavier than the Italian in Italy, but an excellent meal at a reasonable price.

Our waiter, Titus, was great! Attentive enough, but not too much. food was good. At chain restaurants it is the service that matters, and the service was wonderful

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
