Really yummy diner! My twisted turkey lunch sandwich was Excellent! A bit small in appearance but enough for my big appetite. Hustling super pleasant staff; the lunch special obviously a hit with most of the rest of the patrons ( $5.50 for burger fries and drink today). Wonderful place; I'll bring the family next time..I'm not the only one that prefers tater tots to fries! I really question the one star rating reviews- I can't imagine these guys wouldn't correct any issue.

I make it a point to come by for breakfast whenever I can. Great omelettes, even better cheese grits, and (not surprisingly, but surprisingly) fantastic breakfast wraps. The fish sandwich is by far the best thing on the menu, though! Oh, and did I mention it won't break the bank? The staff is great--very responsive and courteous, gets to know all the regulars, and oftentimes will remember your usual order. Whether you're a local or just passing through Mulberry, make it a point to stop by. Just make sure it's before 10:30 AM, so you can order from both menus!

Best cafe in town! The prices are great and the service is even better. The staff and owner is pretty much awesome and they treat you like family. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. ((:

We found this place while driving through Mulberry at lunchtime. It seemed to be the only restaurant in town that was open. There were several cars outside so we decided to give it a try. We are very happy that we did. The restaurant was clean and had a good variety on the menu. My wife was disappointed that they stopped serving breakfast at noon. I had the grilled chicken salad which had a good amount of chicken which was very well seasoned. The honey mustard dressing is made fresh and was delicious. It really complimented the bacon in the salad and would probably be good on just about anything! My wife had a BLT and a piece of apple pie and she enjoyed them both. I would certainly stop there again if I am ever travelling through Mulberry.

Hey all, just wanted to show some love to Carols. I take the family here for lunch or Friday for the all you can eat fish either Cod or Catfish. They really like what they do, and treat us and the little one great by bringing her toys to play with at the table.

Greatest restaurant in mulberry, if you have gone to their Friday night fish dry go! All you can eat cod or catfish. Great shrimp! New menu. They give you huge portions and massive refillable drinks, everything on the menu is spectacular and for the price you can't go wrong. if you are ever passing through the squatty little town carols cafe is a stop to make

Great lunch specials. Club sandwich was great. Also the Country Fried Steak was enjoyable. All you can eat fish on Friday's lunch special. Suggest getting the Cod Blackened, however fried is also good. I will be back.

Upon setting foot into the place, I knew I'd love it. Decor is quaint, great location. Loved the front door! Food portions are incredibly generous considering the economical pricing. We went for breakfast and breath it was great awesome. Piping hot coffee, absolutely delicious. All in all, it was a positive experience, with friendly staff, delicious food, and good hot coffee. What more could a girl want? Definitely plan on visiting again!

Great spot for breakfast. Small diner style restaurant with cool decor. Great menu and low prices. I wouldn't refer to it at all as a "dive" restaurant. It's nicer than that, but I've always found the dive restaurants have the best breakfasts. So ill fit it in to that category. The wait staff is unbelievably nice and very attentive. Definitely plan to stop one more time before heading back to the north.

real people serving really good fresh simple food. I love their breakfast sandwiches with hash browns. I also like their cheeseburgers, they're huge. They run lunch specials and have very fair prices. The staff works well together. I've noticed strong communication between manager/lady (I assume she's Carol?). I think this adds to the finished product because they care. great little diner

Formerly the Fish Place, then Dees Fish, Carol's Cafe was doing a steady business on a Saturday morning with ample help and speedy cooks. With a central FL AG magazine on the counter and several dressed in their suspender-best, this place is reminiscent of the old farm town diners that pepper the highways. The waitresses worked hard to balance efficient serving and cleaning with socializing with their known clientele. Painted in yellows and blues with remnants of fish stuff decorating the walls, it sports ample space and no booths on a historic looking street corner just off Hwy 60. I ordered the $5 breakfast of two eggs sunnyside, bacon, toast and tater tots. Yes! Tater tots! Hash browns and grits were offered, but I was tickled to see the food item from school lunches past. They had $1 side items so I added a side of gravy for my toast. The gravy was outstanding and came in a 1/4 cup mis en place glass dish. Just enuf. The bacon was a thick cut but was probably 3 hours old, board-like, cool and flavorless if bacon can be that. Eggs were perfect. Tater tots were golden brown and tasty. In a month they will have converted from Pepsi to Coke. (yay) There were many screaming babies to round out the din, so don't plan on "peace" here. They were doing a large take out business by people in dirty clothes--either the local phosphate mines or some nearby factory. Yummy pancakes with whip cream poofs and large hamburgers passed by me at eye level, settling in a corner of my brain that says "Come back soon".
