Their large calzone is quite literally larger than a newborn baby. On top of that, it tasted phenomenal. My buddy grabbed a steak sub and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Highly recommend this place. Decent prices, nice staff, fast service and friendly atmosphere.

This is the best place for truly good food. I have yet to try anything on their menu that isn't tasty and generous portions. Their delivery is timely and are usually sooner than the time quotes. Friendly service and courteous. If there are any problems they quickly take care of it. There hasn't been very many times though that is the truth.

I've been frequenting this location for years, and it's always up to par. It's prices are excellent, for lunch and dinner, and the decor is cute. I love coming with my family, and enjoying a nice Pizza and rolls. They have really yummy minestrone soup as well. It's very family oriented, and never crowded.

Primo's offers a variety of Italian meals for the neighborhood. I'm glad this restaurant is conveniently located close to home tucked in the wester side of a shopping center that holds a Winn-Dixie and a Super Target. The first time I ever had Primo's was just good old ordinary cheese pizza. It was a gathering and they just delivered 6 fresh hot pies and we were devouring it like if have not eaten in days. The pizzas were still hot and tasty, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce encircling the pie leaving a slightly crisp and chewy crust to enjoy also. The next time I tried Primo's, I ordere a stromboli to-go...a 'small' stromboli. Waited for my meal to be ready, all of a sudden I see the girl hand me a big pizza box, with me wondering...I open the box and see this 'SMALL' stromboli inside the box for at least a large pizza in a semi-circle with a 'big' side of tomato sauce for yummy dipping. Needless to say, I think this stromboli could feed 3! It was yummy and MEATY!! Holy STROMBOLI! Went there for lunch and their lunch specials are not too shabby either. With a variety of selections to choose from, you can't go wrong Will continue to return to this neighborhood eatery for many occasions!

This is a update review for 9/19/13. We are nicely greeted and seated, we were greeted by this busboy who served us the drinks, I have fruit punch and other people in my party had the same thing and water. The served was nice too and so as the busboy. The refills and the garlic rolls are served in a good pace. We ordered pizza first which served in 8 slices and pepperoni topping as a appetizer. As after we ordered the main course that we had the super salad which served only lettuce and cream Italian dressing and the main meal that we ordered was Baked Ziti which was served in separate containers rather than us sharing it. The bathrooms were clean and nothing wrong with them. Overall the service and the food was good as I rate this 5 stars.

My coworker and I ordered take out and the wait time is reasonable to very good. He got two slices of cheese and a coke for 6 and change and wasn't overly impressed with the cheese. I agree. My calzone was made to order, the dough has really good flavor and even the red sauce isn't bad but the mozzarella cheese is rubbery and real chewy. The pepperoni is the cheap oily kind almost what you find in the little processed packages mom's like to buy because they're "fat free". Overall, I'm pleased since my lunch break is limited and a hot meal hits the hungry spot every time. But Joes down the street is better.

I wish I could give them 10 stars !!!!! Unlimited garlic rolls, THAT ARE DELICIOUS !!! (Garlic and butter! Not oil like some places) pizza is huge and thin and you can taste it's fresh. The pasta there is also amazing. I have the baked ziti and it is full of meat and cheese. It's always budget friendly (: and the staff are friendly!

Friendly and good pizza!! Lousy garlic rolls:( I do not know what rolls the other reviewer ate but they are not good. Go to John the baker, for the best rolls.

The pasta was overpriced and didn't taste well at all. However the pizza was absolutely delicious and so was the service !

Lately pizza and I do not get along, unless its from Primo's. No matter the time of day, you will always be greeted with the freshest pizza in town. We rarely dine in, but their take-out is always ready in 15 minutes. Great customer service, quality and prices.

I usually take a minute to write a review when I am mad. I try to be objective instead of venting here with you guys. But its been a week and im still mad. Ill tellyou my short storry with primos pizza. Ordered a calzone for take out, added jam to it. lady in the phone tells me its $1.50 to add an ingredient. I look at the online menu and it says $1. I give them the benefit of the doubt and head over, I take the menu of the counter and confirm it is $1. Go to pay, tell the lady she is overbilling me and instead of apologizing, SHE PASSES MY CARD for the wrong ammount! She didnt say a word and just gave me the sheet to sign. Look, Im not cheap, I spend more money on food than I should, and I know im fighting over .50 cents but still its the customer service and the attempt at customer retention that ruined the experience for me. I can tell you the calzone was good, nothing out of the ordinary but fresh and hot. The tomato sauce that came with it was a little watered down but had good flavor. But even with this, thanks but no thanks. Primo's Pizza just lost a new customer that could have been a regular.

Nice to have a mom n pop restaurant in such a commercial chain restaurant area. Quick service, great pizza! Will return

The pizza is pretty good. I particularly like the fresh veggie toppings; which is something you don't get from from chains like Pizza Hut and Papa Johns. However I don't recommend the calzone. It's nothing more than a big wad of mozzarella cheese baked in bread. It was literally 65% cheese and 35% bread. You can add items but it costs extra. I'm used to ordering calzones that include marinara sauce, cheese, and a meat at no extra cost. If you're an avid cheese fan, their calzones may be for you. If not, I recommend sticking to the pizzas and pastas which are actually pretty good.

GREAT service! That's the first impression I usually get--it stands out! The food is served quickly, is very tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. I love the lunch specials and have a good meal there every time! Great for groups.

OMG good little place. The best garlic rolls I ever had in my life. The stake sandwich is out of this world good. Their wedding soup was something I never have had before and it was delicious. The skinny, bold head Colombian server is the best in Miami.

I was craving spaghetti one night and found this place on yelp, and to my liking it satisfied my craving! It's a cute little Italian restaurant where you can either dine in or order to go, I went with my boyfriend on a Wednesday night, so it wasn't that busy so when we walked in we just seated ourselves. Typical Italian restaurant menu, salads, pasta, pizza, meat dishes, etc. They start you off with bread, your choice of garlic or regular. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce which with comes with the choice of soup or salad. Holy crap, that dish is GIGANTIC. Super yummy and I had enough for left overs for work the next day. My boyfriend ordered this pizza special they have on nights the Miami Heat have a game, and luckily there was a game that night (duh lol). There are two options to the special, the one we got was order a large pizza (cheese is the only option) and get 5 wings for free... I don't remember the other option haha. Everything came out fast and smooth, service was excellent, staff was friendly. This may be my new go to Italian restaurant.

The workers here are always nice, helpful, and they send out great coupons for pizza, and wings . The pizza is tasty and the wings are too except sometimes the wings are very DRY, other than that they're great.

The main reason I come here is for the pasta fagioli soup. It's delicious!!!!! This soup is white and filled with beans and pasta and little slivers of fresh garlic. The soup is made fresh to order so it's always fresh and hot! The base of the soup is kinda creamy unlike any pasta fagioli I've ever had and it only has white beans. Since I've had this soup I don't like pasta fagioli from anyplace else. My daughter also loves it and since it's so full of pasta and beans, we eat it as our meal and it's very filling. It's served with garlic rolls. Delicious!!

Excellent service and great food, makes me a happy guy !!! Garlic rolls were delicious , by far the best I've had in years. The spaghetti with meat sauce was like Mamma Leone had prepared it herself. Bada Bing, Bada Bang !!! Will be coming back for more.

Solid basic pizza and Italian. They have a good selection of lunch specials, like the 2 slice plus soda for $5.75 which I had. The only annoyance was that both the busboy and the server tried to fake my salad before I was done with it. And both did it while I was mid-bite with my slice so I had to stop put slice down make hand gesture and quickly swallow so they wouldn't take the salad. Not a relaxing lunch experience in what was an empty lunch (2 tables total).

Best Sicilian pizza in all of south Florida. Being from the ny area and a snob of anything pizza or bagel, this is not an exaggeration, regular Italian style pizza doesn't really do it for me though. The Sicilian is perfect. Service is really good. Great family restaurant feel both in ambiance and the staff seems to be a big family which I love. Great place.

Pizza is consistently good. They don't have a system with information so every time we call we give our address again. Besides that we never had a problem. Food is great.

This is my ultimate favorite pizza place to go to in all of South Florida! This, to me, has been the most tasty and consistent pizza place I've ordered from. Ever since moving away I've been trying to find a comparison, and it hasn't satisfied me as much as when I would walk in, sit down, order a giant slice of pizza and the munch on their complimentary dine-in garlic rolls! :D

I realize this is a neighborhood staple and they have a decent loyal following, but it's not my cup of tea. I arrived one evening hoping to share some pizza and pasta with my husband. After bringing us our drinks, the waitress took our order and when I asked if the marinara sauce had any meat products in it she told me ALL their sauces were cooked with veal bones. That includes the pasta sauces, the pizza sauces; basically almost the whole menu. She went on to say that the sauces are pre-made so they couldn't make a made-to-order vegetarian sauce. When the man making the pizzas overheard my exchange with the waitress, he said that all Italian restaurants make sauces this way. I then told the waitress that I wouldn't able to eat there. Then they charged me for the wine and beer that we'd had two sips of. First off, if you're going to serve a marinara sauce cooked with veal bones you should disclose this on the menu. Even if someone isn't a vegetarian, there are plenty of people out there that don't care for veal and wouldn't appreciate eating it unbeknownst to them. If that's not worth mentioning on a menu, I can only wonder what else is in the food that they feel isn't worth mentioning because "every Italian restaurant" does it.

I've been going to Primo's for years - since it's so close to work - but tonight, my memories were more exciting than my actual dinner. Ordered the gnocchi with meat sauce - and was told they ran out, but they had tortellini, so I agreed. What I got was tortellini with odd chunks of meat dumped on it. Almost as if the ground beef wasn't broken up into small enough pieces. Flavorless. The minestrone soup was good - and the garlic rolls were on point. Too bad I was left still craving the carb coma I was hoping for. The service also wasn't on point. Took a few times of us trying to get the server's attention before we got our check.

Wonderful pizza and strombolies. Even gluten free pizza is good. My wife and I have not had a chance to try their pastas because their pizza is so good. Only down side is maybe there is too much butter on the garlic bread. Favorite pizza place in the area.

Primo Pizza Miramar delivered a pizza with the crust almost raw and advised it would take another hour to deliver another one...not cool. would never have allowed a RAW pizza to leave the restaurant, no matter how busy the resto was...won't take out from there again...sorry. BAD SERVICE. Manager could not care less about his team's service.

Good Italian restaurant. I am a huge chicken parm fan, but I dislike spaghetti. Most Italian restaurants I go to refuse to give me anything other than spaghetti, which really doesn't make me too happy. This place was able to accommodate me with something else without asking questions. AWESOME garlic rolls and really good soups too.

Ordered the chicken parm take our. The side salad is a joke. The breading falls off the chicken. I've had better pasta at my daughter's school. At least the chicken wasn't dry & the garlic role was decent. We've purchased pizza from here before & it was ok. Won't be buying food here again.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
