Stopping short of five stars. It's been a while since I wrote my first review of Rincon Antioqueño (correct spelling), and even though at the time I gave them a three star rating, this restaurant deserves a solid four star review. Rincon Antioqueño is at the top when it comes to authentic Colombian food. I have been coming here for a few years already, and I have never been disappointed. My choices in dishes haven't changed that much, I still order the bandeja paisa, the sancocho, the "bistec a caballo", the "adobo santaferreño". These are traditional dishes that have not changed over the years, in fact, these dishes are replicated at most Colombian restaurants, with the only difference that Rincon Antioqueño has the best stuff. I have gone to many Colombian restaurants, some are good, not many are really good, and this place always makes me come back. I particularly like the pork rinds that they use in the bandeja paisa. Those are the best pork rinds in Miami, period. The other dishes, well, we can debate who makes a better sancocho or a better adobo, but when you look at the whole, this place is the winner. Another dish that is gaining popularity and that I have enjoyed here are the empanadas. Colombian empanadas are unlike other South American empanadas. Instead of the white flour dough, they use a yellow corn dough, and they are filled with meat and potatoes. These little devils are reason enough to stop by and put some money on the table, get some empanadas, and maybe a beer or some Colombian soda, which by the way, is also really good. With the amount of Colombian people in Miami, not to enjoy Colombian food is almost a crime. For the first timers (and I hope there aren't many), get a bandeja paisa and an empanada. Later you can explore the menu. This place is all about home made, rustic, farm style food. The restaurant is humble, the people are not sophisticated, but the food will get you in touch with the goodness that the land provides, an entity that some call Mother Earth.

If you are looking for a casual Colombian spot where it feels like home, this is the place to go. It almost feels like you are in someones dining room when you are there. You will come across good Colombian food and made to order. Try the Bandeja Paisa if you are a first timer when it comes to Colombian food. Parking is terrible but hopefully you get lucky and have a spot waiting for you when you pull up. There are about five spots total (again just like someones house).

If you're looking for a place with a great tasting and authentic Colombian food and a horrible parking space, then this is the place for you, the Bandeja Paisa and the Empanadas taste so good, my wife can't get enough of it.

This is a must go when I visit Miami. I was born and raised in Colombia and this is the first place, and last place that I go to when I come into town. This is a 100% genuine Colombian food. The people are very nice and food is AMAZING!!!! (Yes parking is tiny- but the plates are not!) YUMMMMMM

Miami wouldn't be complete without me exploring the latin culture which this place offers. Part of culture is food so yes I had to get my hands on it. You know when they say its the inside that counts. This applies here for sure. It really doesn't look like much from the outside but inside its a whole different ball game. The owner of course thought I was colombian, started speaking to me in spanish. Luckily I was able to respond back to him smoothly. Had to explain to him im african. The thing I like about this place is it has a real homemade feel to it. Its not really commercial at all. This is the place you come to if you want good things, and good portions. I decided on the arroz con pollo and was tempted to ask the owner what they put in it so I can cook it myself. Further more the empanadas hit too. I think this place is a gem hidden behind coal because as I said early it may not look like much on the outside but the inside is a different story. My stay in miami has been pretty relaxed and chill thus far. I really am liking this place, and Rincon Antioqueno Resturant gave me another reason to like it more. Muchos Gracias

Delicious Colombian food !!! Que delicioso...now the park is another story. It is terrible, getting on to 8 street for one and two no space !!! Not cool. I wish this place had better parking. Now the food is delicious but I went to this spot one hour prior to closing. I was disappointed to find out they had no arepas nor pan de bono. But that's okay. Badeja paisa is a my top recommendation.

Again I am here for business and we went here after getting off the plane. I had a large sangorcho with beef and rice on the side. The service is fantastic, it feels like when you are in Colombia which I have been there before. The owner is so humble and is always happy to see us. Keep up the good job.

Excellent fried pork. The pork was tender and cooked to perfection and a huge portion. Good midnight sandwich, but not great.

This is by far the most authentic "paisa" food you'll find in Miami. This food is from the Medellin region. The empanadas are delicious. Only bad thing about the place is parking. Not fun. If ur don't care about about it's ultra casual dining area, then pull ip a chair and enjoy delicious food. Yum! Now I want an empanada!!!

Rincon Antioqueño is my go to spot for Colombian Food. They make the best of everything. For breakfast I always get the #2 - scrambled eggs with ham, bacon & una arepa with cheese. For some reason they make the best scrambled eggs with ham, super moist & buttery. The empanadas are to die for with their homemade hot sauce. The chicharrones made here are by far my favorite from anywhere else, meaty and not too fatty. My mouth waters just thinking of this restaurant. My other favorite go to dishes are the Sancocho de Costilla, a soup with red meat and lots of carby starches, which will cure your cold instantly, the Bandeja Paisa (rice, beans, fried egg, chicharron, maduros, sausage & carne asada). Trust me food coma is unavoidable here. To drink we always have "refajo" which is Aguila beer with colombiana (Colombian soda). It's an acquired taste but once you fall for it there is no turning back. Refajo can be drank as early as you wake up and as late as you go to bed. Thank God for my Colombian boyfriend if not I would have never known this place existed. & to think I live less than 5 minutes away.

So my hubby wanted Colombian food, so I Yelped a close by location (since we couldn't go to our local place) Parking is VERY limited. Once we walked in, apparently the only waitress at the restaurant, was eating at one of the tables, she told us to sit down anywhere. It was only Us & another table in the whole place occupied. Once we sat down I order 2 empanadas de carne & pan de Bono, what did I hear? A microwave... They probably cooked it early this morning && just popped it in the microwave for us. Not good :/ My husband ordered "Bandeja Paisa" which is a typical Colombian platter (Rice, red beans, fried pork skin, charbroiled steak, sausage, sweet plantains) I ordered a random chicken platter. He liked his food, because it satisfied his craving, other than that he said it wasn't better than other Colombian locations. Was is good? Ehhhh so so. The waitress came by the table twice, to take our order and to give us the check. The food was mediocre and the service as well. Will I go back? No...

As many other yelpers have mentioned, parking is a struggle, however, well worth the hassle. This is a cozy, authentic, Colombian restaurant. Haven't tried much on the menu but definitely hit up those empanadas. Can't go wrong with that. I'm sure everything else is just as tasty.

The food was spoiled, slow service and the place was small and dirty, plus parking was terrible. Why didn't we leave sooner? was my only question to myself after my girlfriend and I left our entrees 98% untouched and dropped $60 on the table and flew out of there. I'm a Miami local and I lived in Barranquilla, Colombia for many years. I have eaten in many Colombian restaurants all over town. Sometimes, I day dream about sancocho, bandeja paisas and mojarra frita! Yes, that is how much I love Colombian food. The service was really slow, we sat for about 15 mins without menus. There were only two people serving the dinning room. After we finally ordered and waited about 20 minutes, the waiter came back to confirm the drink orders, we waited another 20 mins to get my juice, it was decent. My girlfriend and I, ordered the whole fried fish (mojarra frita). The fish was fried dry and had an old seafood smell and taste. Trust me, you know that smell of old spoiled fish when you smell it and tastes it. When you can't even swallow it, and spiting it out in a napkin after it been in your mouth for only about two seconds, is an automatic reflex because you have a functional brain. Both of our fish smelled and tested terrible. I told the waiter and they didn't even offer to check the fish. Only received bad looks from my waiter and was told the fish is very fresh and was offered to go boxes. I left the plate untouched, paid the bill and we were out of there! Never again and will warn my yelp peeps. I guess this is the price you pay when you go out of your way to find a new place and want to experience a new restaurant you haven't been. Go to Monserrat, Patacon, Ajiaco, Pueblito Colombiano, anywhere else. Uff, go to Mao's fast food, for a Colombian hot dog! You will enjoy it more. But don't waste your money and time there like we did.

The service here was great! Five stars for sure! they were super friendly and always there at the right times, but never pestering you like in American restaurants. The empanadas...THE BOMB DIGGITY! And I don't say that about empanadas in restaurants much because I make some mean empanadas myself ;). The batidos here were also on point, as were the juices (both $2.75) and they have great flavors like guanabana (soursop), lulo, mango, pineapple, mora, chinola (passion fruit), and strawberry. Lulo was super tasty! The food, however really let me down :(. I was expecting a close match to the amazingness I had at Primarepa, but it just wasn't happening. The beans were a bit too soft for my liking and way too bland (no cilantro at all...zero. Very little onion, if any). I got a bandeja paisa and the sausage was decent, as was the beef, but I dunno otherwise. Parking really does stink, also. Interior is clean, odd, tacky-ish decor, but not overly crowded. Not much seating. If you can't find a parking space, beware because there isn't a table for you either. This place can get loud for sure, but I didn't mind at all. I say just grab some empanadas and juice to go (the papas rellenas are prob really good, too) or try this place if you've never had Colombian food and don't have true set standard. My boyfriend never had Colombian food before and loved it. Just depends where you've eaten before.

Very good Colombian food! Parking is horrible, but the food and the service makes up for it. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa Only gave them 4-Stars because I've had better tasting Bandejas Paisas before, also the sausage it comes with was horrible. I would definitively visit again though.

Good affordable food. Empanadas are a must. Cuatro leche for dessert and cortadito to finish off.

I'm a bit surprised this restaurant doesn't have any yelps. This is, probably, one of the most authentic Colombian restaurants in Miami. It is a bit hard to find, and parking SUCKS, but it is so worth it. Snuggled in between of two buildings, the small house-like structure fits eight cars parked diagonally facing the walls. It is a pain in the butt to get out but you'll be full and happy by the time you have to deal with the Miami traffic.. The Lengua en Salsa is my favorite in the city. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, good. Order it and don't ask what it is until you finish. The owner is very kind and is always there. There is a small market and the decorations seem more like scattered finds than professional. The desserts are pre-bough so I don't recommend them if you're looking for authentic, but all the food is great.

Loved it. Family atmosphere, great food. We were visiting from California and trusted yelpers. Super fun...you might even meet comedian/radio host Eduardo Vasquez. We did! Agree, parking is limited, but worth it!
