Had to update the review because this place is going downhill. They tend to now open and pick up their phones whenever they feel like it. Last time I ordered food it lacked the fresh taste and quality it use to have when they first opened. Ordered the chicken Alfredo, fettuccini was super hard, sauce all cold, completely disgusting. Considering how empty this place has been lately that's a clear sign that they arnt moving a lot of product and they are not serving fresh food.

First time here but a great experience. Sweet cute girl greeting me with a huge, two for one beer and great smile. Decent cheese pizza bit to chewy but super thin&crispy. But the chicken Alfredo was nomnomnom. I'll be back for sure. Enjoy and follow me please and thank you.

Ok! This was pretty bad, I took a big risk coming here based on one review, but I was in the mood for pasta so here goes. First red flag, Empty on a Friday, never a good sign when the place is empty. Our server was very kind, but clearly his first time in the restaurant business. I was curious to know if the establishment and the chef were "Italians", they're Not! The owners are from Venezuela and so is the chef or cooks. And let me tell you it reflects on the food. I ordered the Tortellini Carbonara which was overlooked and very salty (14$). She ordered the Chicken Milanese which consisted of a couple of chicken cutlets, salad, and a side of penne pasta (15$) pretty basic. We didn't stick around for dessert, we weren't impressed at all with anything. I won't be coming back and I don't recommend it. Not authentic Italian food not even good Italian food.

This place does not deserve even one star. They messed up my order and I had to go back twice. The pizza was overly sauced and half cooked. The garlic bread was hard and nasty. The guy in the front did not care what so ever. Not even a oh I'm sorry, nothing. The decor is nice but the food is beyond terrible.

So lets start off with the fact q'pizza stands for "que pizza" soooo it is owned by Hispanics... Now that we got that out of the way, we went on a Friday afternoon for pizza and we were far from disappointed! We have been looking for a pizza joint close by the house and it was DELICIOUS! The garlic knots were great but the dough on that pizza! We love our pizza extra crunchy but for it not to be thin crust aka a good balance with dough and still crunch and it was perfect! The customer service was great, yes it was empty but we don't go off that solely if its a good place or not because McDonald's is always full doesn't mean it's the best. Sadly I think location in that shopping plaza is the problem, please go check them out so we don't lose our favorite pizza joint in the hammocks! It's amazingggg and the price was great too!

I love this place! Great food and MUCH more than your typical pizza parlor! A surprisingly good selection of food on their menu but the pizza is also great! My family has made this our weekly "family pizza night" gathering spot. Modern and fun...with nice wines as well! Great place to watch sports too! I'm so surprised it isn't more crowded...but that's another reason I like Q'Pizza! You're missing out on a real treat if yoy pass up a meal here!

First timer!! Service was great and pizza was DELICIOUS!! I love it when the pizza actually has cheese and here it was loaded!

Worst Italian food I've had in my entire life. The service was great, as well as the cleanliness and ambiance, but if you're an Italian restaurant with horrible spaghetti and meatballs, none of that stuff really matters. The place was nice inside, despite being entirely empty, so I was really excited about the food, but was extremely disappointed. I ordered the two most simple Italian meals, spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread. The garlic bread was "eh" I'd eat it if I was hungry, but it was pretty simple and bland, just not very tasty. The spaghetti and meatballs was an entire fail. The actual pasta was super dry/hard, even though it had plenty of sauce, so it was either under cooked or reheated. The meatballs were HORRIFIC. The only thing I can compare it to is some type of mystery meat that you would feed prisoners or dogs. It was bland and stale in taste, like cardboard, and the consistency was the worst part. It was extremely chewy and dry, and so tough I could barely get my fork or knife through it. Meatballs are supposed to be tender, juicy and break apart without the need for a knife. This was certainly not the case, I couldn't bring myself to finish the first meatball, although it came with three. The chef did give us a couple free garlic knots since our (very sweet) waitress forgot to put in our garlic bread order at the same time as the pasta, but those were burnt black on the top and, like everything else, extremely bland, so... A for effort?

I have been here twice I told my self I'll give them an I ther chance . I was wrong this time I got an even worst customer service . They messed up my order yet again and when I finally got my food it wasn't all that great . I'm sorry but the two times I have came I have no luck and I'm not the only one in my friends that's have a bad experience here.

Love this place. The pizza is delicious and service is very good. Their Italian red wine is also very good. Can't believe more people don't go there!! Its like an undiscovered gem!! It's my new go-to place for Pizza and Italian.

So I JUST ordered from Q'pizza and I couldn't wait to post my review! First, the garlic knots are DE-LISH! Seriously, make sure you get these. We also ordered two pizzas for delivery...super fast! The cheese pizza was really good. Thin crust, but not too thin. And the cheese is quite flavorful. My second pizza, I wasn't happy with, but that's not the entirely the fault of Q'pizza. I ordered the traditional pizza and added an extra topping of 'ricotta pepperoni' not realizing this meant I was getting a pizza with pepperonis and ricotta cheese...that's it, no sauce. I ordered through yelp, so I don't know if online ordering through their site would have prevented this or not. Either way, I will still be ordering from them again, next time I think I'll call to avoid the confusion though. Thanks,

Came here with a friend for lunch. I had to try it again. The smell of Fabuloso was not in the air, which was nice. The place still as clean as ever. I ordered the Sicilian Calamari, which is steamed calamari in a nice spicey sauce. The flavors were good. There were some pieces that were chewier than others but not too bad. For the entree I ordered Linguine Costeira which was suppose to consist of mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp and scallops in a spicey marinara sauce. It had no shrimp, no scallops and the sauce was not spicey at all and a bit on the salty side. My friend had the Fettucinne Amalfi. Chicken in a creamy parmesean sauce. Sauce was a bit thin and again salty. Next time I will stick to their wonderful non greasy traditional pizza...

I have been here once before, and my service was great. This was not the case today. I placed an order I said would be ready in 15 minutes. When I got here well after 15 minutes, I found out the order was 100 percent wrong (and there was no way my order could have been misunderstood from the way the order taker did it compared to what I placed), and one part that was right wasn't even started. So, I had to wait. I'm only giving a second star because the man who saw the error was nice and apologetic.

Came on a weekday after lunch. Was alone in the place. Service was, of course, impeccable. French fries were the frozen kind. Meh. Chicken Parmesan sandwich was very good. Thin, lightly breaded chicken on crisp ciabatta. Garlic twists were excellent, but it's tough to screw up garlic rolls. Good to bring kids.

I've been to this place a few times. The food is good and it's really nice. The staff is friendly. The only down side to this place is that it's always empty. I think the location is not the best, So not to many people know about it . If you are ever in the mood for some good pizza.. Check this place out its really good .

Not only did this place get great reviews and is near my house, but I had a groupon. We came here on a Wednesday night and it was absolutely empty, even on a Wednesday night, there should be some people if it is a decent restaurant right? Anyway, we were told we could sit anywhere we please. Our waiter was very patient and courteous. He seemed genuinely nice, we were very pleased with the service. For appetizers we got the fettunta di pomodoro and for entrees we shared the skirt steak and lobster ravioli. The fettunta di pomodoro had buttery, crispy, toasted soft bread and was covered with chopped mozzarella and tomatoes, olive oil, and a balsamic dressing. I was really hungry so I am not sure if this skewed my opinion, but I thought it was really good. The steak was cooked well done even though I ordered it medium rare, but it was still tender and not chewy at all. It was lacking the chimichurri sauce that was supposed to go with it, but it was still pretty good. The broccoli had an off/plasticy flavor, it was definitely not fresh. The lobster ravioli had a tasty, light cream sauce and was filled with a decent amount of lobster. Overall I was pleased with my meal. The food is good and the prices are not bad. I want to come back here to try their pizza next time.

NOTE: I gave this place 3 tries before this review. The place is nice, but it seems to lack a little more knowledge on Italian eats. The staff is very nice and accommodating, but the menu can be a little confusing - the descriptions are a little misleading. Portion sizes are good, food was over all good.

Definitely we have to go back for the rest of the menu . The decor is NYK style nothing you can criticized or tacky , even the bathrooms are nice and clean!!. Definitely recommend this awesome restaurant!!! Well worth your $$

Great Business, Amazing food. Went the second day the store opened and the pizza was delicious, and may I say that the tiramisu was on another level. I will actually be going to the wine tasting place next door for Valentines day and will def try to sneak some of this pizza inside.

We discovered Q'Pizza because we always drive by it (its about 2 min from home) and decided to give it a try. We loved it so much we are now repeat clients. Their pizza is New York style, huge pies, with fresh ingredients. On top of that their service is fast and very friendly. I recommend ordering extra tomato sauce if you like sauce, because the first one we ordered was a little light on the sauce. But overall a great choice for your pizza nights!

Very nice and clean restaurant, but very disappointed with what we ordered and the service. We came in for lunch and because we were craving Italian we decided to try this since it's around the corner from us. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken penne a la vodka lunch portions with side Caesar salads. When we got our salads, they came in awkwardly small bowls that didn't seem to fit the salad at all. The fact that the salad was difficult to not spill on the table (due to the bowls also being weird and tilted) it would have been okay, but the caesar dressing didn't taste right and the croutons were very stale. We decided to try to stay positive and waited for the pasta we were craving so much. When it came, the penne a la vodka didn't look like vodka sauce, but exactly like the tomato sauce from the spaghetti and meatballs I ordered (we even asked the waiter to make sure it was correct and he assured us it was). It looked nice and hot and we were starving so we started eating. Right away both dishes tasted strange to both of us. We asked for Parmesan cheese to try to mask the taste, but the waiter took forever to get back to us so we continued trying to eat. The spaghetti and meatballs came with two meatballs that i am so sorry, but I have to compare it to old wet dog food. I don't know how else to describe it other than that. They were either old and rewarmed or very overcooked and still had the taste and smell of dog food. The waiter never asked us if we needed anything and the restaurant was EMPTY. We've eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants and maybe it's our fault for ordering entrees at a pizza restaurant or maybe they had a really bad day or a change of cooks. I hate to leave such a horrible review, but this was by far the worst Italian food we've ever come across. They are more expensive, but I would try Amicci's or Mamma Mia's if you're looking for authentic and fresh.

I have driven by many times, (live down the street) saw them on groupon and wanted to try something new. We tried the appetizers- wings, calamari & fried zucchini, both delicious! Shared the garlic bread with amazing cheese. For our meals we got: tortellini carbonara, almond salmon, lobster ravioli, and chicken Parmesan sandwich. Every meal was great! I decided to go back for pizza the next night...got a large pepperoni and bacon pizza and 1/2 doz garlic rolls. The garlic rolls were soft on the inside and the perfect crispness on the outside. Will definitely recommend and keep going back!

The GARLIC KNOTS are Amazing. my Almond Salad was AWESOME, my daughter and wife's TAPPETO ROSSO (like a combination Sausage/Meat lite Lasagna) was MOUTHWATERING, DELISH (and HOT!) ... The Tortellini (Cheezy) Carbonara was Surprisingly Lite & Filling. Topped with the Owners PERSONALIZED Attention to Service. ...You CAN'T go wrong! GO...Try It! LUIGO can Cook!

I had the pizza there before and it was good. But the service and training leave allot to be desired. Last week the chicken wings were ice cold at the bone, returned because of the health risk and the cheese cake was some wierd flavor. OK it is a italian restaurant, so if the pizza is good I am happy. But this week I saw the ad on groupon, I ordered "Any two 16inch pizzas" When I called I am told it is only cheese pizza, they know there is a problem with the ad but it is now my problem. Wow a new business with an attitude like that?

MILITARY DISCOUNT. SERVICE: I decided to order delivery. They were very quick and it seems like the owner delivers himself. Either way, the delivery guy was very courteous and brought us paper plates and napkins. The guy even stopped by the store to pick me up a coke zero. FOOD: the pizzas are huge. Their mediums is the size of a large in any chain pizzeria. And they taste better because they taste homemade with fresher ingredients. They even brought a complimentary cannoli. Living in Italy for awhile though it wasn't a real cannoli to me, but the gesture was very nice. The only problem I had was that here thin crust wasn't as thin as I preferred. ********UPDATE********UPDATE************** I reviewed the pizza before. This is for the pasta. My girlfriend lived in Italy for 3 years, me for 4 months. Their spaghetti carbonara and gnocchi is as close to Italian food as when we were actually living in Italy. Recommend this way above Amici's.

Horrible service! We came on a Sunday night and it was slow. We ordered our food and that's where the experience came to a screeching halt. We ordered chicken Marsala, Hawaiian pizza, another pasta dish and the portabella appetizer. The chicken Marsala came an hour later. No appetizer and the second pasta dish came out 10 minutes later and was the wrong order. The server apologized and when we were trying to understand his error he caught an attitude and actually walked off! They dropped the first pizza too! It takes work to mess up this bad. Side plates and silverware were an after thought. When they finally brought out the second-attempt pizza it was wrong as well! We only had one dish in front of the three of us at that moment. Only ONE dish was right and it took over an hour just to get that one! It was horrible! After watching the employees walk around in circles pointing fingers at each other I had enough. We walked out. I eat out all the time and have had great meals and a few bad ones but I've never walked out of a restaurant before. Ahhhhhhh! I can't say enough about how disappointing and horrible this experience was!

I've eaten here twice already and the food is great. I've tried the pizza, bruschetta and calamari and all were excellent. The place is usually empty the two times I've been there which is a little surprising, but I guess because it's in a little remote shopping center. The service was good here.

I came in tonight around 6pm for an early dinner with the groupon I bought after hearing good reviews of the place. Our server, Nick, was very helpful with some wine recommendations and was very nice. Pizza is thin crust but filling! I could taste the fresh ingredients, which is very difficult to find in some pizzerias nowadays. Definitely coming back!

Finally q'pizza is open. My wife and I have gone the last two weekends. The first day we went 2/22 they did not have their liquor license yet so we ordered soda. I will start with the garlic knots 3.50 for a dozen. They are delicious. They are made with real garlic chunks and they come with a rich tomato sauce. 5 stars I then had the Q'Pasticho which is an original homemade dish which has meat sauce, ham, cheddar cheese, corn and is topped with mozzarella cheese. Delicious 5 stars. My wife had the traditional pepperoni pizza and raved about the crunchy crust and the pizza sauce. She gave it 5 stars. I had the espresso to end the night. Excellent. Just the right amount of sugar. We returned this weekend and had the garlic rolls again. This time I ordered the fettuccine viaggio which is jumbo shrimp in cream sauce over fettuccine pasta. The shrimp were huge and fettuccine was fresh. 5 stars. My wife had the Tapetto Rosso which is a homemade pasta stuffed with beef, mozzarella and ricotta. She said it had an auhentic taste and was delicious. 5 stars. I will say the food was great on both occasions but the most important thing to me is customer service. On both days the owner Luiggi came to our table to see how everything was more than once. This is the reason I will be going back to Q'Pizza.

Have been waiting for this place to open for almost a year now and let me just say that Patience is a VIRTUE! I Live in the Tamiami area and the only reasonable places to frequent for pizza are Mamma Mia's and Ferrari's (but they are owned by the same person, so there's basically no difference, PLUS they're overpriced!). I Tried this place on Monday of this week (2/12/13) as it was their first day open for business and let me say that I'm glad I walked in here... From the moment you walk in, you're surprised at the ambiance of the place. It's a spin on the traditional "feel" of a pizza place that just works. The music is great and I found myself singing along to a bunch of the songs playing in the background (think Goo-Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20, etc. greatest hits). The owner (Pedro), the manager (Luigi) and the head waitress (Claudia) were all EXTREMELY attentive and helpful with EVERYTHING our party wanted. I feel like this is what is missing from middle-class restaurants nowadays. The owners of an establishment should WANT to mingle with the patrons that frequent a place and this type of behavior shouldn't be limited to places where dinner is going to cost $200-$300 for 2 people. Now to the food... Garlic Bread - the bread wasn't dripping with garlic and it seems like they took the care and time to make sure that the bread was 'infused' with the taste of garlic that enhances the deliciousness of the bread. Great way to start the meal! Large Traditional 18-inch Pizza - I wouldn't go so far as to call this regular deep dish or thin crust, but almost like a hybrid that hits it just right. The amount of cheese was surprising compared to how thin it was and there is also a hint of minced garlic as you get to the top part of the pizza, which will make even the people who don't like to eat the crust DEVOUR it! Barbeque Chicken Wings - Usually a place will just slather BBQ sauce on the wings and call it a day, however, these guys cooked the chicken to the perfect temperature (chicken wasn't dry or undercooked) and they made sure to put just the right amount of sauce on here. Great addition! Tiramisu - I don't like this dessert and I'm still not convinced that's what they gave me... That's how good it was! The prices are extremely reasonable - $13 for the large 18-inch and the bread was about $4. GREAT VALUE, AMAZING FOOD! FYI - This place was so good, that I went back the next day with my mother, so that she could try it. Ferrari's/Mamma Mia's you've been replaced!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
