This place is more of a modern Korean place. But everything was extremely delicious. A little bit on the salty side but everything was full of flavor. Duck sandwich and Banh mi was my favorite. Tots are super fresh and crispy !

Completely got the name wrong in my review of their actual restaurant, Sakaya Kitchen . I love this food truck, but have really only had the Spicy cheesey kalbi beef tater tots here. Very good! Definitely recommend!

Ok, here it goes! This food truck amongst a few others ventured out to the Coral Gables Merrick park area where I work. My company payed big bucks to set up carnival type games & a Funnel cake stand all for free to the public. A co-worker(who's opinion now carries very little weight) told me that this food truck would not dissapoint. As you can imagine I carved my way straight over to this truck with my girlfriend and we ordered the "loaded tots" which are Ore-Ida quality frozen tots lightly; and I do user that word literally; drizzled with a spicy mayo type concoction and a few pieces of what seemed to be BBQ pork pieces. it looked more like big bacon bits at best. Mediocre at best with these potato nuggets. We also ordered the Honey Orange ribs. I will admit, the ribs were tender and fall off the bone but nowhere was the presence of anything honey or orange. These ribs weren't even in the same zip code of anything honey or orange related. I was very dissapointed to say the least. So on top of lackluster food the wait once ordered was unreasonable. They couldn't even pull off having the coke or bottled water chilled(the only two drinks available). Yet another reason why I am a Miami Food truck skeptic. Lunch was not a total bust: I pummeled my way over to the MsCheesious truck and gorged on pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich heaven.

I love the food truck and that's how I learned that they had a restaurant! Meaning all the delicious food truck food whenever I want!! However I find the food truck is better why? I have no idea. Maybe the atmosphere, the crowd, and other food trucks. The restaurant had many other selections than the food truck but i stick with what I like. I love the duck sandwich and the baos. More sweet than savory and very flavorful. I have has the shrimp tacos as well very tasty and crunchy as well. Very good texture and taste. I rate them 3 stars because of their price. If you order about 2 items on the menu it can cost you 20$!!! Also their big bowls have like 2lbs of rice and little protein. As an Asian I like small bowls of rice and more protein and veges.

I love this place's crispy duck buns!!! I come here often and have enjoyed the different dishes I've tried.

The Korean fried chicken was quite something. Really delicious stuff. The pork banh mi was another one that I really like. It was a good thing that I decided to try out this place or else I wouldn't be able to taste such great food.

Its nice to eat some Asian food once and awhile. This one is one of a few spots that I have added on my list of places with great food! They have a wide selection and all of them not only looks delicious but tasty as well. Service is great and the price is pretty much decent for all food.

Another favorite of mine in Miami! Felt like I was back in Flushing, NY having authentic Korean BBQ! The concept is perfect for the location and the quality of ingredients were deliciously distinct!

My friend Jen and I decided to indulge our monstrous appetites at the Wynwood Truck meet on Saturday so we could sample some more of Miami's finest food trucks. First on my list was Dim Ssäm since I had been reading about it's culinary prowess for a while. We decided to try the short rib tacos based on another friend's rave review and the pork buns. Each order came with two so we shared- next time I'm so ordering my own and you should to!!! First, let's start with the short rib tacos. They are served on a warm flour tortilla, and it's filled with braised short rib. One bite and I was in absolute culinary bliss. The short rib had this spicy sauce which gave it a nice kick but was perfectly balanced by the sprigs of fresh cilantro on it- it gave it a nice, clean, refreshing taste to your palate. The bean sprouts gave it the perfect texture with a nice crunch to each bite. Now onto my absolute favorite- pork buns!!!!!! Just looking at the finished product gave me palpitations. They are the perfect size and once you bite into them you won't know what to do with yourself! The pork has been cooked for 8 hours so you know you are going to be getting the softest, most tender, most flavorful piece of meat you've ever had! It has the perfect balance of both sweet and spicy- this has a lot less spice than the tacos. These buns are the only buns you want this soft; they are just so fluffy and light it gives you room to eat that many more. Again, the ingenious Mr. Hales, doesn't forget about texture and puts two perfectly sized slices of cucumber to impart that perfect crunch! What you end up with in both the short rib tacos and pork buns is a gastronomical delight!!! This is a food truck that shatters all cliches as to what a food truck is. It is much more than just a food truck- it is a new wave of avant-garde cuisine available to the masses of foodies like me, showing the world that you can create a culinary masterpiece without all the frills and fusses of a high end restaurant!

Dim Ssäm à gogo by Sakaya Kitchen just rose to the top of my food truck list!! Why the elevator to the moon? The Short Rib Cheesy Tater Tots in a little box from heaven, that's why! The pulled pork sandwich wasn't to shabby either. I like the truck options better than the menu at the midtown location, times two. Here comes the Twitter stalker in me Dim Ssäm. I'll follow you all around town, until I try everything on the menu. Also, I am extending an invitation to park the truck in my driveway.

I love the food from Dim Ssam a gogo! I've been buying from them since just about their startup, and I can't think of anything from them that wasn't amazingly delicious. In particular, I really, really like the "Chunk'd Cheesey Spicy Short Rib Tater Tots." I could eat the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) wings every day. The "Popcorn Shrimp Spicy Soft Tacos" were a wonderful melange of exotic flavors. There are always new creations and specials on the menu board, making each trip a new experience. They've become so popular that a second truck is in operation, and Sakaya Kitchen is opening a second location downtown. Highly recommended!

another one of my favorite place we had tried out while we were there. i'm still craving for their duck sandwich. The pork belly bun was good also. We had the KFC as an appetizer and that was pretty tasty.

Is it wrong to stalk a food truck? I have been stalking this one ever since I first tried it. I would just like to say, my obsession with this truck started well before Bourdain visited... but I can't blame him for having good taste? Here are the best foods to order: 1) Kalbi tacos - If I could eat these every single day I would. As much as I never imagined Korean food in taco form, I can't fathom what my food experience was before this. 2) Loaded tater tots - Take the Kalbi, toss it on top of some tater tots, and then put some cheesy spicy sauce on top of it... and then you have the best tater tots ever. (If you ask nicely, they'll make them for you at Sakaya Kitchen as well) 3) Pork belly bao buns - Some nicely done pork belly, some pickles, some savory sauce, all put in a nice doughy bao bun. Yummy. Stalk this food truck and eat there. You won't be sorry.

I'm a little down on this truck, as it seems to me that prices have crept up while portion sizes have slimmed. Almost to the point where I can't even really recommend it anymore. Let's run down the damages: Kimchi egg rolls, $5 - quite good of course, spicy kimchi with a chile dipping sauce. The problem? You get two measly little egg rolls. Pork belly bahn mi, $7 - pork belly cooked to perfection, cilantro, blah blah you know the drill. Again, two tiny little buns. I could shovel one of them into my maw whole and think little of it. But no, here I have to pretend like I have a lot of food and take dainty little bites. Short rib soft tacos, $8 - outstanding flavor, bits of juicy short rib with a killer spicy peanut sauce. Two. Small. Broken record. Hey, at $4/taco it damn well had better be good. I split the above with someone - that's $10/person, and both of us were still starving after. Call me an uncultured, unsophisticated lout if you will, but I think $10 should entitle one to some kind of a substantive lunch. Isn't "street food" supposed to be all democratic and grass-roots, bringing gourmet food to the masses at a great price? Not so much in this case. I pretty much spent $20 on 6 bite-size pieces. That wasn't lunch, that was a mid-morning snack. If it wasn't so tasty, I'd probably have to go all the way down to two stars. When I first tried this truck at the old Bird Road meetup, I seem to remember getting three or four tacos, buns, etc - at the same price. What happened? 5-star food, 1-star value. If you're out for a light lunch, go for it, but I probably won't be back. Really, what are you supposed to do, spend $40 at a truck? GTFO. And if I ever see "pork buns" on *any* menu ever again, I'm running the other way.

This place does not deserve one star, it might have been good in the past when it was a food truck. Had lunch there today, two bite size pork buns for $8, the size was ridiculous, the pork was so dry that I had to drink to be able to swallow it.

I DRANK THE SAUCE. I'm not proud, but it's true. I couldn't help it! After inhaling the entire box of Brussels sprouts-- little jewels of sweet, salty, gooey, carmelly yumminess-- there was still all that sauce--gingery, garlicky nectar from the Far East, and I just had to. I couldn't help myself. Yes, I am in love with the Brussels sprouts. It's become a Tuesday night compulsion. All day I think about them, trying to put it out of my mind, but when the sun goes down and the moon comes out, I find myself cruising through the back streets of the neighborhood over to the erstwhile BTTR always just before closing, a crumpled bill in my fist, a needy rasp in my voice, "Gimme the Brussels sprouts, dude, and throw in a spring roll, too." Yes, the spring roll. It's vegetarian! and it comes with a sweet peppery sauce that's almost as good as the one on the sprouts. There are moments when you know with life-affirming certainty that you've ended up in the right place. An evening in late February in Miami surrounded by happy foodies savoring the most delicious and eclectic outdoor meal one could wish for on a weeknight under a smiling moon is one of those moments for me. Dim Saam is the perfect combination of adventure and comfort-- something new, yet easy to embrace, luscious and eye-opening, tasty and wholesome, surprising and scrumptious. LOVE IT!

The reviews do not tell a lie. This was the first food truck we stopped at. After all the rave reviews we had to check out those sweet pork buns that we have heard so much about. Hubby loved them and has been talking about them very often. I think we might have to follow them on twitter and get his fix soon. I personally thought they were moist good pork and the little buns were slightly sweet yet light. There only was one thing I did not care for and it was the sauce. It tasted possibly like a teriyaki sauce of some kind maybe? Not quite sure, so I was more than happy to let hubby eat them all. I would just ask for no sauce if possible for me next time. Prices were reasonable, service was good, line remains long for this awesome truck.

::in my best The Rock voice, right eyebrow raised:: Finally I have eaten at Dim Ssam a gogo!! I don't know why its taken me this long to taste the offspring by the genius of Sakaya Kitchen, but I blame my laziness and gas prices. Oh what a truck this was, what magnificent food is created here. Just amazing. From the spicy tater tots with chucks of meat, to the yumminess of the Bulgogi Burger. I have yet to find a meal I didn't like. When a truck gets my giddy like a school girl upon the sight of it, when I feel like a fat kid and my cake is the truck, I must be either insane or they must cook some good issssh. I'll go with the latter. The "KFC" wings, Korean Fried Chicken wings are my favorite. I swear there must be crack or something in the breading because once it hit my lips I was hooked. It had fiending like an addict scratching my neck days after I've eaten it. I needed to score some of those wings like it was illegal to get them. The crunch of the breading echoed in my head as my teeth pierced the crispy goodness of the wing and the taste of the moist chicken meat flooded my taste-buds. So good... soo good. There are still a lot food on the menu I have yet to try. Don't worry I have my list, and I will be checking it off one by one like I'm doing inventory at a retail store. Bulgogi Burger ( check ) spicy pork croquettes ( check ) KFC wings ( check ) Don't miss out on the addiction that is Dim Ssam a gogo.

It took me too long to try out the Dim Ssam truck. When I worked in Midtown, I used to frequent Sakaya Kitchen, but don't get there too often now that I'm Downtown. Lucky for me, there's Dim Ssam a gogo. The truck joined up with The Fish Box for lunch in Bayfront Park on a recent weekday. I love The Fish Box, but needed my Sakaya fix. I had trouble deciding what to order since everything sounded (and smelled) soooooo good!! Finally, I decided to go with the pork belly buns and the "chunk'd" spicy tots. Both were excellent choices! The buns were a great combo of the sweet and buttery pork belly and the crispy and tart homemade pickles. Yummy. The tots were outta control good. Loaded with a cheesy drizzle, a little bit of spice, and tons of short rib piled on top was a meal in and of itself. Definitely worth sharing with a friend or two. Prices are reasonable considering the uniqueness and quality of the food (and the prices of some of the other food trucks) - in the $4 - $8 range. The line sometimes moves a little slow, but the wait time till you get your food isn't bad at all. Here's hoping they make Downtown lunch a regular thing!

More like 3.5 stars. The place was good, but it wasn't as amazing as everyone said it'd be. The crew working there are great though. Real friendly people who make some decent food. The prices are a little high though for the portions given. I tried the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) wings and they were good. They were crispy enough despite being tossed in a sweet glaze. They top it off with onions too. They give you about 6 wings per order. The duck sandwich tasted great but was kind of small (pricey too, but it tasted great so I didn't mind). My friend got the pork buns which looked kind of tiny in my opinion, but she said they tasted good. Overall, I would have to go back to try other things, but it seems like portion sizes need to be bigger for me. Definitely a place to visit though. I'll give it an updated review when I give it another go.

I finally was able to try this food truck last night at a mini food truck gathering off Bird and 65th. Latin Burger and The Fish Box by La Camaronera were also there. Having tried Latin Burger several times, I decided to focus on the two trucks I had yet to sample. After a nice appetizer from The Fish Box, my friends and I wandered over to Dim Ssam to peruse their menu. Oh.my .GOD! I wanted to try EVERYTHING on their menu!!! To the point where I almost regretted my Fish Box appetizer...almost. So about 10 minutes of debate took place before I decided to order the short rib tacos and a giant cookie. WOW!!! The short rib taco was OUT OF THIS WORLD good!!! Be forewarned though, if you aren't crazy about cilantro ask for it without because they realllllly pile the cilantro on. I personally love cilantro so it was taco heaven for me. Sadly in the midst of my tacorgasm, I forgot to get my giant cookie. FAIL! They told me it was white and dark chocolate chip with peanut-butter pretzel pieces. I did my best Charlie Brown ARGH! imitation when I realized my mistake on the way home. This is one food truck I can't wait to catch up with again.

For my 200th review, I choose you Dim Ssam a gogo. Dim Ssam a gogo fed me and my cousins, Auror T and Brentacula D, real well. This was our first time at the food truck meetup on Bird and 65th. They have updates on Facebook. Found here ( facebook.com/?ref=home#!… ). Since we are cousins, we decided to do some family sharing with our meals. We tried four dishes. Go Go gadget Korean Chicken Wings (Success). They were extremely flavorful and just like at the restaurant I was gnawing at the bone like a dog with his precious bone. Go Go gadget Bulgogi Burger (Success). I am not sure how it is Korean, but who cares it is delicious and the taters are a great addition Go Go gadget Korean Tacos. (Success). It was straight up made of pure awesomeness. Go Go gadget Duck Bahn Mi. I am not sure how serving the meal in a baguette constitutes a bahn mi, Honestly, it did not matter once I took a bite. Like Tony the Tiger would say, It's GREAT! It had a nice sweet tang to it and was devoured in a heartbeat. After getting our food, I tried a few more gadgets. Go Go Gadget seats (Failure), Go go Gadget benches (Failure). Go Go napkins (Success) Ya, there are no seats, so eating gets real messy. You will need plenty of napkins and maybe even want to borrow your baby's bib eating here. Go Go gadget Food Truck meetup (Complete success). After all the eating, it was time for us to get tin the gadgetmobile to go home.

With deep regrets I'm writing to inform you that the pulled pork sandwich I raved about in my review has been taken off the menu. I went this week in hopes of devouring this sandwich and was shocked to hear that they took it off the menu two weeks ago. Sad times... They took it off because they wanted to "change up" the menu and bring in new items. After hearing this, my husband and I just stood there in front of the food truck in complete shock... looked at each other and said "what now?" Dear Sakaya Kitchen, I hope one day that the pulled pork sandwich will be brought back because something that delicious should not be kept from those that did not get a chance to experience it. If I need to beg, I will. Signing off, Jadine (pulled pork sandwich lover)

Two words: Brussel Sprouts. I am so entranced by the flavorful wonder of these tiny little lettuce heads doused in garlic and ginger. For anyone who doesn't like brussel sprouts, please don't wince. I guarantee you, you will enjoy them so much you'll be wondering what took you so long to embrace them! I can still taste them now... Yes, other things on their menu are equally great- their short ribs melt in your mouth, their tater tots are sinfully rich and delicious (definitely NOT your average taters), and their giant cookie is perfect for the cookie monster in me. But if they chose to sell just brussel sprouts I'd still seek them out all over the city. I simply cannot get over how delicious they are. Just *one* little note: I feel cheated that there is no Dim Sum on this truck-when I first heard about its existence I thought "WHOA! A Dim Sum Truck, SWEET!". But no. There is no Dim sum here.

Dim Ssäm à GoGo is probably the coolest looking food truck in Miami and will also help you keep cool as well with the truck's large white awning helping to shade you from the oppressive heat of the Florida sun on a sweltering day. No doubt the food from this truck is really good! I ordered the kurobuta ssam ("dae ji" sous vide pork belly, kimchee, and homemade ssamjang in a lettuce wrap) along with an order of the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken wings). The kurobuta ssam featured large cubed pieces of seasoned and fried pork belly which were excellent. The kimchee in the dish was very good as well. The chicken wings were very tasty, perfectly crispy skin with an added tangy kick from the ginger garlic sauce. Because of how good the two items I ordered were, I only wish I had the appetite to try everything on the menu that day. 4.5 stars.

Tasty enough food, small portions, multiple items required. I tried this food truck when they were at the Boca Raton Food Truck Rally; I got the pork belly buns, kimchi egg rolls and the ginger Brussels sprouts. The kimchi egg rolls were not spicy, but were quite a bit like tasty cabbage-only egg rolls that one would get at the average Chinese restaurant. The pork buns were "bao" dough shaped into tortilla-like shapes and baked; roast pork was then placed on top with some sliced green onion-- small and tasty, but the buns were a little dry. The best of the three items was the ginger Brussels sprouts: though deep-fried and a bit greasy, they were served in a carton with copious amounts of a savory ginger-mirin-and-soy type sauce that really brought out the caramelization of the Brussels sprouts. I'd try it again with a bigger budget, but be aware that it was BY FAR the longest line at the food truck rally, so it's probably immensely popular. If you don't want a long wait time, you may want to try another truck with a shorter line.

This is a great food truck. It is not 5 stars because the portions are small, the prices are high, but the flavors are great. I recently split a LATINHGrill MADLOVE and a DIM BULGOGI burger. The LHG burger is twice the size as the BULGOGI and comes with a side, and the taste is good. The Bulgogi burger is half the size as LHG but probably has better flavor than the MADLOVE. So in the end, both are good, it depends if you want better flavor or more quantity. The MADLOVE may be a better value. I give the BULGOGI high marks for taste, but it is on the small side, has no sides, and still costs $7. Is this a just price for a small burger with no sides from a food truck? I think they could easily throw some tots in there and not hurt their profit margin. The tator tots they do with the cheese and steak, are sometimes great, sometimes not so much. They are inconsistent with that dish. What makes them good is the spicy sauce, but sometimes they skimp on the sauce and on the cheese, or the steak. Also, $9 is rather expensive for this dish. The tacos they make are out of this world, probably the best tacos I have had from the food trucks, the sauce makes the dish. You have to try these asian tacos.

I read Vanessa S' review and said to myself "Self, I wanna try that truck" Thank you Vanessa, your review was spot on! The famous vacant lot at 65 and Bird has become the central sharing site for food trucks, and Dim Saam a Go Go, was there, just my luck. The truck had a manageable line, I don't know why, it had the most unique menu, that drew you to eat, eat, eat! as opposed to Latin Burger (very good too), and Fish Box (eeehhhhh although I'd try again) and Churro truck (didn't try)! Dim Saam's menu was a magnet and I am steel, yeah I know it's a song. Dim Saam has a friendly staff, and they were helpful in choices they would want. I chose the Kim Chee Egg Roll, and the Korean Pulled Pork. The Kim Chee roll was kick ass, the dipping sauce complimented it very well. I would want a little more heat to it as I like spicy food. The Korean Pulled Pork, was an excellent ending to the rolls; however, I would want the pork to be hot cause the pork was room temperature, the pork was seasoned perfectly and was very tasty, laced with the pork was kim Chee, it was a large portion on a pillowy soft bun. It scored high in my book, just wish the sandwich was hot! I will defiantly seek them out again, interesting menu, two down many to go!

One of my absolute faovrite foodtrucks in the area, would gladly eat Dim Ssäm à gogo anytime! Started back at the Fall for the Arts event, and was blown away with the creativity and taste. Tried the foie bao (with Foie Gras Torchon, Pickled Sweet & Hot Peach, Salted Brioche Steamed Bun) and the Kurobuta Pork Belly Ssam, and found them to be the perfect combination of flavors. Since then, I've given several other dishes a try and I really enjoyed the short rib soft tacos (come two per order), which were filled with tender meat and packed full of flavor that was only enhanced by the coolness of the cilantro! The ginger brussel sprouts (garlic and gingery magic in a delightful sweetened soy) and the bahn mis are more must-trys...so well cooked and tasty! The only miss I've ever had were the bok choy, which I found to be a bit greasy and spicy for my tastes. Fresh and flavorful...so worth checking out! Looking forward to trying the cheesy tater tots!

An impromptu lunch break to Sakaya today left me very satisfied, and really quite surprised. I've been to Midtown so many times, and walked by this place, never really curious about it. My oh my what I'd been missing!! I can only speak for the Ginger Chicken Salad and Coconut rice, but it was tasty enough to secure a second date. I'll definitely be back, and SOON!!

The bf and I headed over to the St. Patricks Day Festival at Tobacco Road that boasted '15 of Miami's Food Trucks.' I'm not going to lie, I was giddy about it. I've never eaten from a food truck before, so I was excited to take advantage of their proximity and try as many as possible. Go big or go home. I can say, hands down, that this truck had the most enticing and FLAVORFUL options. Knowing that the plan was to try as many trucks as possible I only ordered the pork belly banh mi. So good! If this little delight speaks for the rest of their food I will have to seek out dim ssam a gogo again-gain (I know but I had to say it). The reason I gave 4 stars is because of the price. $8 is expensive for 2 tiny finger sandwiches. Pork belly is certainly a delicious cut of meat, but it is not expensive! I like a *little* more value for my dollar. It might get pretty pricey if I was trying to have a full meal from this truck.

Ok, these guys are out of control! We have been wanting to go back to this truck but the hoards of people in line at every BTTR made it impossible. There was a break in the action last Tuesday so we made a run for it. Tried the crispy duck sandwich and it was absolutely incredible. The duck was crispy on the outside, and very tender and flavorful. With some extra hot sauce on top it was superb. My buddy had the tots covered in meat and it was out of hand. To top it off we had an extremely large cookie that could feed 3. This was all for less than $20. If you ever see this truck with a short line definitely stop by you will not be disappointed. This is the best food you will get from a truck and there is a reason it is always the most packed truck at BTTR.

We discovered this place due to the food trucks. We chased them around town for a few months, but got tired of the food truck seen. Since, we have been driving from S. Miami to mid-town just to eat the delish pork buns! Wow! Amazing! I have tried other things on the menu which are usually pretty good but the pork buns are still my favorite!

I had been dying to try these famous Miami food trucks, but had never had the pleasure of running into any of them. My luck took a change for the better when to my disbelief everysingle food truck i had ever heard of was lined up in a glorious row two blocks away from my house, for some kind of promotional event at a car dealer... So begins my 5 part review saga (please refer to Ms. Cheezious, Cheese Me, Latin Burger, and Sugar Rush for the continuation) I orderd the ginger brussell sprouts, which doesnt sound like something you'd probably want to order at a food truck, but they were sooo tasty and delicious, everyone had to have them, I also ordred the spicy croquettes, which were probably one of the best croquettes I had ever had, no lie. IT was somewhat of a cross between a hispanic croqueta and an asian spring roll, amazing! with some great spicy sauce that complimented all the flavors in this little bundle of joy. This truck makes me want to try out Sakaya Kitchen for a full meal next time.

this is my favorite truck as of 8/20/11 last night @ the hard rock truck rally, i went straight here after researching a truck that had ribs. i had one order of the - (4) piece orange ginger ribs and an ice cold apple juice. certainly some of the best spare ribs i've ever tasted. not too sweet. just right! and the meat kept falling off the bone, it was that tender. also had the opportunity to try the grilled (or were the pan fried?) brussel sprouts. i'm definitely not a veggie eater but i'd order those again. this is by far THE best truck out there!

Leave it to me to visit the Wynwood food truck roundup and vehemently seek out brussel sprouts. It took us over 20 minutes to locate the Dim Ssam a gogo truck, and then another 20 minutes in line, but damn, those ginger brussel sprouts were gooooood!!! For $6 you get a cardboard carton filled with sweet, salty, crunchy, lightly-fried and steaming hot brussel sprouts. They were a party in my mouth. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The lines were long for this truck, and the employee working the counter (window?!) was pretty scary-- kinda like a postal worker who is about to snap. "And on tonight's news, food truck employee attacks line full of people seeking brussel sprouts...." Just sayin'.

I know now why they won Miami New Times Best Food Truck!! Their menu has some yummy goodness including meat, duck, ribs, chicken wings, tacos and tater tots-- all with an Asian twist. I went with the Angus Beef "Bulgogi" Burger and my friend and I shared the Slow Poached Egg Bulgogi Steak Chunk'd Cheesey Spicy Tots. OMG- the tots were out of control and the burger was amazing!! The only thing I was disappointed with & the reason why they're not getting 5 stars was the service. If they say they're starting at 12, they should be ready to go at 12, not still setting up at 12:15! I also wanted my burger with no pickles and the guy said they couldn't make it like that--- 2 minutes later, I see him putting the pickles on my burger-- Like REALLY?! There was only one other person there- I get it if they're in a rush and can't be doing custom orders, but come on, dude! Their drinks were also warm when they arrived, so I had to get my water from another truck. Dim Ssam a gogo-- you won my heart and my belly! Now, just work on your service :)

THIS IS WHAT FOOD TRUCKS GOURMET IS ABOUT! Dim Ssäm à GoGo is king! Was at The Margate Festival @ JM Lexus and this is #1 Items that are a MUST: *Kurobuta pork belly bao buns with chili sauce (Heavenly light bun and a multitude of flavors that makes you savor every bite) *Gingered Brussels sprouts (golden caramelized and crunchy) Do not despair if the lines are longer than those at any other truck but are well worth the wait. (learn to gauge the crowd and understand that customers come in waves when you at these events) Cheers!

4.5 stars because the prices are a bit high, buuuttt, if I could give 10 stars for flavor and freshness, dang it, I would!!! The food was just amazing! I'd heard of Sakaya before and, from what I saw on their restaurant menu (not the truck), it looked like high-end Chinese-American fusion--looked good enough for me to put it on my list to try, but I had less than 5 star expectations. I can't speak for the restaurant, but for the truck, when I saw steady 5 star ratings and then on top of that, I heard they were doing Korean-American fusion, I said to myself, "Oh yeah, it's ON!" I LOVE Korean food. I am a garlic lover and no self-respecting garlic lover can help but love Korean food. I am super picky about Korean food because I have mostly had it at friends' houses and every time I go to a restaurant, the food is far from stellar, to say the least. Needless to say, I had no idea what to expect when Korean and American flavors collided, especially here in Miami, but something told me that it would be wonderful. Take it from the girl who takes no mess when it comes to Korean food, wonderful is an understatement! This was nothing at all like your typical overly sweet, cheaply-done Asian fusion that's weak on the flavor and drowning in oil. The food was super flavorful, full of garlic, very fresh, and was a textural playground, just like much good East Asian food tends to be. I got the Dirty South Korean pulled pork ($6), and man, I have been drooling and fiending for another one ever since. The pork had those wonderful crispy bits, sort of like what you get with good lechon (one of my favorite foods), it was perfectly-cooked and very well seasoned-- garlicky, slightly tangy, chili-y (yes, I made that word up), and had the very slightest touch of sweetness. For those who are curious, you do get a full-sized sandwich with a generous, but not enormous piling of meat. The second thing I got was the kimchi eggrolls ($4 for 2 narrow). I love kimchi and I have been craving it all semester! After a treacherous semester-long recovery from a nice intestinal pet I picked up doing field research abroad, my stomach was just about ready to handle spicy food again, so what better way to celebrate, right?! OMG, guys! I usually like my kimchi older, as opposed to fresh, but this was super duper fresh, nice and crispy, crunchy eggroll shell (the small, smooth kind used for SE Asian eggrolls, not the bubbly Chinese-American one). The kimchi was spicy, garlicky, and even gingery, which was Sakaya's unique twist. I'm feelin' it, Sakaya. I must say, though the goal was obviously to put a new spin on Korean food, Sakaya definitely did that, but they remained impressively true to the traditional flavors of Korean food with noticeable, yet not overdone pops of innovation in terms of flavor, such as the addition of the ginger to the kimchee, as well as the zucchini, and I believe carrot. I can honestly say, this is THE BEST I have seen Korean food done in ANY restaurant thus far, and I have eaten in the best restaurants in Northern VA's K-town, Annandale, which is pretty dang big. This place leaves the others in the dust. It makes all the difference when chefs have a true passion for food and a genuine respect for the cuisine they are working with, and it is more than apparent that Sakaya has that and more. I would venture to say that Sakaya has more respect for Korean cuisine than even a number Korean restaurant owners have for their own cuisine, in my experience. And best of all, it's clear that these guys have fun with food. There's no better combination of qualities in a chef for the end result to be nothing less than wonderful! The price isn't small, but trust me guys, the reward is oh so great and oh so delicious! Hats off to Sakaya for their work on Dim Ssam a gogo!

Finally caught a taste of Dim Ssäm à gogo. Went to the Seminole Hard Rock Food Truck Rally and this one was one of the ones I made a beeline to. My mindset was to try as many food trucks as I could, and this one was the one I was most excited about. I had to try the Pork Belly bun, and then something caught my eye on their menu....did I just read "Mexican Coke?" ohhhhh please let me have it! Good old fashioned glass-bottled Coke, with real sugar. LOVE IT. The pork belly bun was nice and moist, crunchy pork belly, and the right balance of kicky spice. Delicious!

Gimme some of that Dim Ssam before you gogo! I love this truck! I love Sakaya Kitchen! Even when they put green things in my pork buns, I'll still eat it. I'll eat it, I tell ya! I have had the Bulgogi burger at the truck and at the actual restaurant and it is simply delicious. I let the chef cook it which ever way he does it as I do not want to interrupt genius at work. The Bulgogi burger has short rib and tater tots atop it with a perfectly creamy and spicy mayo to dress it all up. It's very hearty and filling and oh so tasty. I love the bulgogi burger but la piece de resistance at the Dim Ssam truck is the pork belly. Whether in tacos and more recently, buns it the belly of the gods incarnate. Richard Hales does a fantastic job of making me eat pork. I am beginning to think that I would eat pork belly in anything. Well, almost anything. Until next time, I will dream of pork belly tacos dancing in *my* pork belly. Oink oink, yum yum.

New built out area since last I was in Florida. Friends from where I used to work recommended this place as a place to meetup, and I thank them for that. The pork dish I had was great and went well with the coconut rice it was served on. Larger portion then I could comfortably eat for lunch, but good price. All in all a place I would definetly hit again if I lived in Florida.

Cheesy tots. Cheesy Cheesy Tater Tots. Short Ribs on Tater Tots. and Cheese. CHEESE. Blame it on my love for comfort, but what drew my curiosity to this truck has always been the convenient brown takeout containers everyone is happily shoveling their food out of. It screams "DELICIOUS!!" to me, it makes me want to snatch a box out of the hands of the people who got there before me, and most of all, it makes me come back for more each and everytime.

i cannot believe i hadnt reviewed one of my favorite food trucks yet. i love sakaya so no doubt i knew id love dim ssam. the tater tots are just about as close to perfection as possible. i think its one of my favorite foods ever. the bulgogi burger was really good too, but im not a fan of cucumber so that kinda kills it for me. the wings are really good with a nice spicy kick to them!! the prices are reasonable and the service is quick - just pray the line isnt too long!!

Yes, this is probably the reason "The World is Jealous about Miami". I remember few months ago when talking to one of the Cigar Distributors and I show him what we have been doing with the Mobile Cigar Truck "Smoking With The Caballos". He lives in Tampa and his eyes came out the orbits when he saw the food trucks in a huge court and thousands of people eating, chatting and enjoying..... who's idea was this? Nobody knows. All I can tell you: the actual economy have something to do with it and I can't thanks enough! I have another history with some friends that brought their kids to one of the events. I could not make it that day. When they saw me next time they kissed me and hugged me and thanked to me many times for telling dad and mom about this...... they have so much fun!.

I love food trucks and this tasted and looked like one of the best. The South Korean dirty pulled pork sandwich was delicious. The sauce was excellent the bun perfectly soft and potatoey. The kim chee added the crunch that I didn't even realize I wanted until it happened.(I've said this before at other Go Go joints) Then there's the short rib tater tots with sirachi cheese awesome flavor combination with spices dancing on my tongue like a stripper on a pole. I never would have thought of that.(I've said that at other Go Go bars as well.} The rest of the menu looked solid and I wanted to try everything. I like Sakaya Kitchen but I love Dim Saam a Go Go. The only thing their missing are the dancers.

Tried it during the Wheelin Dealin food truck fest. I ordered the sweet buns with pork belly. It came with two for $8. They had two different kind that you have to order separately, I asked the staff if I can have one of each so I can try both of them and they were nice enough to let me do that. I had a normal pork belly with sweet bun, that came with cucumber, and some chili sauce. I thought that it was very tasty, but small. You can finish it in two bites. The second bun is called the "banh mi" it had pork belly, pate, carrots, some spicy mayo, and cilantro. I particularly liked this one more, it was tastier and had more fillings. This place is great, my friend ordered their chicken wing and it smelled delicious. Prices are a little high for the small sweet buns but you should definitely give this place a try if you want some good tasting food.

I am so obsessed with the garlic-licious Brussels sprouts (covered with hot sauce because that's how I roll) that I haven't gotten around to the burger or anything else yet. Honestly, spending $4 on these will feed several people who just want a snack to soak up the Art Walk booze. Miami makes me happy, and I am loving this new food truck craze!

After going to a couple of TOW events and eating here twice, this is definitely a truck I would consider a staple for anyone to eat at. After reading a couple of reviews here about the portions and price, just keep in mind that while it is "street food" they do operate from a truck that requires gas, so prices going up are understandable in these times where we are almost to $4.00 a gallon. That being said the portions and taste have not been dropped or cut by any means. High quality items (like duck for their awesome duck sandwich) are going to call for higher than normal prices. If you ever ordered Peking duck at a restaurant you know how pricey it can be. I would recommend the spicy pork croquettes (three HUGE croquettes) as well as the duck sandwich (like having a mini Peking duck). If people want cheap prices then go to McDonald's and have sub par food. For what it is and what you get Dim Ssam is a definite win!

So excited to finally try this food truck over at Carnival on the Mile Saturday. I was so surprised!! It was excellent! First i had the pork buns, which were DE-LICIOUS. My friends and I were fighting over the two buns. The bun was soft and flufffy and the pork was tasty with a little sweet sauce kicker. Then we ordered the spicy short rib tater tots. W - O - W so good, I could eat that right now again!! Crunch taters with spicy melted cheese on top, topped with short rib meat. A delicious and different combo I highly recommend!!

By far my favorite truck, hands down. I have nothing but positive things to say about their menu and their service. I am a die hard fan of their croquettes, short rib tacos, bao buns (in my heart and in my soul, my absolute favorite thing ever!), and ribs. If I had no self control would follow them around like a groupie follows a tour bus. I always recommend people try this first and always get positive feedback. Love love you Dim Ssam! You guys are the best.

I am continued to be amazed by this food truck! Went to Brickell Honda for the new Brickell food truck court. Ordered the pork croquettas, and they were prefect for a chilly night. It was an amazing croquetta with a crunchiness outside and gooeyness inside. To top it off, the sauce they serve on the side is out-of-this-world good!

First taste was at the Fall for the Arts festival, which was really just a food truck festival, in my eyes. Anyways, I ordered a few things from their menu and shared with my girlfriend. The ribs with that plum-based sauce stood out the most! They were so soft and nearly falling of the bones! The meat was melting in my mouth! Oh, yum! I found the truck in Brickell today and immediately began to rave about the ribs to my husband. He just HAD to taste them! They were not as good. The quality of the meat was still pretty good, but no plum-based sauce. Instead, it was a considerably less impressive sauce that I honestly didn't even enjoy enough to remember much about it. Friendly staff, relatively quick service and an eye catching design make this food truck a pretty viable and inexpensive mini-meal!

Two words. Bulgogi burger. Wow. This thing was excellent. I wanted to take a look inside to see what it was made of, but I was just having a blast with the damn thing. Unfortunately, I can't describe it here. All I saw were pickles, beef, and sauce. My mind was exploding. So, let me calm down and explain. I visited this food truck two days ago at an event in the Miami Herald lot. They had a really long line, but it only took about 15-20 minutes to take our order, and maybe another 10 to wait for the food. My brother ordered the pork belly sandwich, and he said it was great, but the portion was really tiny for $6. The burger costs the same, and seemed to be more worth it in my opinion. Our good friend The Burger Beast told us to check out their orange honey glazed ribs. These things were fall of the bone. SO good. The only thing is that they were a bit TOO sweet. It almost felt like dessert at times. Now, their drinks. $3 for a (Mexican) Coke bottle is just ridiculous. I went to another truck and got one for $1.50. On my second visit, during the 'Wynwood Truck Meet Up', the service was much slower, and they gave me a lukewarm bottle of water. I didn't say anything, but $2 for warm bottled water is horrendous. Also, they ran out of egg rolls and didn't remove it from the chalkboard menu, so I ended up not ordering an appetizer. Their loss. The burger was also a mess, but I'm gonna let all of this slide because it still tasted alright, and I ordered it to-go, so that might have ruined something here and there with the freshness of the food. Also, it looked like an extremely busy night. Step up your game though, guys, c'mon. But, after all is said and done, Dim Ssäm à gogo, is definitely a food truck worth adding to your list of must-haves/must-try.

Food trucks finally came to my corner of Kendall last night and so I had to check them out. I got two different orders from this truck and have two different reviews: Short rib cheesey tater tots: Braised short ribs with a BBQ kimchi sauce? Good. Tater tots? Good. Cheese? Good. Together? A little weird. I think the tater tots were over done and the cheese really didn't have much to do with the rest of the flavors. I'd skip this one the next time. Garlic Brussel Sprouts: I HATE brussel sprouts. I LOVED this dish. Thank goodness my friend ordered it and I got to try it. Too bad for her that I totally bogarted it and finished it! Everything about this dish was great. The brussel sprouts were cooked well and the sauce was an amazing sweet, garlic sauce that I could have licked from the pan. This dish I will get again and again.

Visited this truck at Tropical Park during a Tuesday night rally and was thrilled with the spicy cheesey tots. If they could only have been spicy, I would have been in Heaven. But I liked the dish and the menu looked cool, so I will definitely revisit next time I go. The cheesey tots are more than enough for two people and are loaded with cheese, "spicy" sauce, green onions and perfectly cooked beef pieces. Try try try!

I'm quickly becoming a food truck groupie... I had the distinct pleasure of being able to try this place on Tuesday night at the mini food truck gathering they had with the Fish Box and Latin Burger. Having dined at both of the other trucks, I was anxious to try something new. The delicious aroma emanating from the truck was more than enough to draw me over.... After perusing their menu and not being able to make up my mind, the bf and I ordered the short rib tacos. (From my understanding, it was a new menu item that night.) Our taco order came with two tacos which was perfect for us to share. Luckily he had his own because after my first bite, I wasn't too keen on sharing. One word... DELICIOUS!! Normally, I'm not a huge fan of short ribs... don't ask me why. But this was simply heaven. I was vaguely reminded of a banh mi sandwich with the cilantro and fresh slaw that topped off the taco but the expertly braised short ribs with melted spicy cheese screamed taco. It was yummy. Sadly, the tacos were the only thing I tried from the truck but they were enough to get me to follow them on Twitter and want to go back for more. Next time... those short rib chunked, cheesy tater tots will be mine.

I found the Sakaya Kitchen food truck last night while driving on Biscayne Blvd with my family. The food was so good. My husband loved it and so did my three year old son. It's such a great concept. The brussel sprouts are my favorite and the ribs are so good too. You can check out their web site or follow them on Twitter so you can find out their next stop. Just get there early as this is one of the most popular food trucks in Miami.

Being one of the few trucks selling asian inspired food, i had high hopes. I didn't order the KFC (Korean Friend Chicken) since I had them at their restaurant Sakaya kitchen. I can see how it's similar but it really needs to be crispy and lighter in texture to be Korean fried chicken. So I ordered the kogi tacos and the ginger Brussels sprouts. The cheese on the tacos threw me off. It was just too weird with the Asian flavors and very overpowering. I wish they would slice up the meat a little more instead of having chunks. The brussels sprouts were pretty good. I don't know where they found the Korean words on the truck but the word on the right side of the order window had 2 extra lines that don't belong. My 2 cents for the tacos: slice up the meat, ditch the cheese, and add the sweet and spicy gochujang sauce that they use at the restaurant which they call Ssam jang which is also wrong.

The short rib tacos were just utterly amazing, and an excellent value, as they came two per order and were each full size. The soft flour tortillas housed Angus beef that tasted like it had been marinating for days, and was paired with a spicy sauce for a bit of a kick. Topped with cilantro, crunchy bean sprouts and sesame seeds these tacos were absolutely delicious!

Tonight was my second sampling of the fare at Dim Ssäm à gogo, and again, I walked away one happy woman! It seems the menu is always a little bit different, which I happen to love! I co-hearsed my siblings into coming out to the Miami Food Truck Court located on Bird Road and 65th Ave., with the tales of my recent encounter with these amazing spicy cheesy tots topped with chopped Short ribs and scallions I had recently tried during Art Basel. This time, there weren't any tots on the menu, but in their place, a "Crispy Herb Duck Sandwich"!!!! This sandwich was so perfectly balanced! It was savory, a little sweet, a little spicy, juicy, crispy, soft bread, and healthy amount of fresh cilantro-heaven! This is by far one of my favorite gourmet food trucks to date! Look them up on facebook to find out their schedule and daily locations. (Korean, Asian fusion street food)

My BF and I tried this truck at the Hard Rock truck rally. They easily had the longest line at the rally and in my opinion the most interesting inspired menu. Even though I had already decided to try Dim Assam from my research from the night before, we made a circuit of all of the trucks just to see if there was another truck that we might have wanted to try. Needless to say we ended up back at Dim assam despite the huge line. We ended up waiting about an hour but the short rib tacos made it worth it! We also had the crispy duck sandwich and the pork belly. Both were delicious. I love everything about this truck, from the inspired menu to the cool art work! Can't wait to try it again. I do have to agree that the portions were very small for the price.

I've went looking for this foodtruck twice after having good experiences at their restaurant in midtown. The first time I got the banh mi pork buns, very good, it's crispy pork belly stuck in a surprisingly light and fluffy steamed bun, I'd never had steamed buns before, I thought they were good. They've got the sauce down pretty well too, it's sweet and spicy, but doesn't stick in your mouth too long like some sweet sauces tend to. Its garnished with picked cucumbers, they don't taste pickled on their own but they add another crunch and flavor to the sometimes overly sweet sauce and very rich pork. The second time I found them I was quite hungover and figured the hot and spicy scirachi tater tots topped with shredded short rib and cheese sauce would be a good remedy. It was. My only gripe with this place/venue is that it's too expensive, I think $6 for two 2-bite buns and $8 for the tater tots with the short rib is bordering on highway robbery considering the quantity, It's 3 bucks extra for the short rib on top and you get about 2 full bites worth. I thought the whole point of the food truck movement/revolution/fad was for it to bring the otherworldly to the masses at a price for the masses. Bring your own beverage cause drinks are stupid expensive, yeah, it's boylan's fancy soda in old fashioned looking bottles and flavors, but for three bucks and it's barely cold enough, bring your own.

Went for the street food friday thing downtown. First off, show up early cuz theres limited seating so its good to go and get your food before all the offices open out for lunch. Got the short rib tater tots with the siracha cheese sauce and bulgogi burger.. Tater tots 4/5 its interesting to say the least but theres no real flavor profile you know when ur looking for that last taste to make it distinct? its definitely a try Bulgogi burger 3/5 it wasnt doing it for me even though i was most excited for it. Basically a burger pattie with some pulled pork and kimchi cucumber with some asian spicy flavor thats post to be bulgogi. I know what good bulgogi taste like and I know what a good burger taste like. Its very in between. It gets uniqueness points though but no distinct flavor again. At points it was pretty bland. Def gonna try the other stuff on the menu. The truck is a must visit though just these choices didnt hit its mark.

Now instead of 2 mini pork buns per order for $8, you only get ONE! They're redefining fleecing at customers expense and riding the hyped up "Miami Food Truck craze" trying to overcharge as much as they can to unknowing new food truck customers which is beyond pathetic. Amazing food trucks have been around in other cities way before Miami's recent food truck explosion and if it weren't for the fact that 97% of the Miami Food Trucks are Mom & Pop trucks where *everyone* seems to be a chef since the decline in our economy, Dim Ssam a Gogo wouldn't rate in comparison to real food trucks where the chefs are actual chefs that care more about their customers instead of trying to make a quick buck. Below's a list of links to bun prices for the three best Top-rated Food Trucks in the country specializing in buns located in places where the cost of living is much, much higher than in Miami. The quality of these buns are superb, portions perfect, and their bun prices are still much lower than Dim Ssam a Gogo's. mobimunch.com/chairmanba… thebuntruck.com/menu flickr.com/photos/joits/… It's only a matter of time before quality trucks like these expand to Miami and I can bet, I'm not the only one who'll be welcoming them with open arms. From quality, portions, value, and customer service- Miami food trucks will need to step up their game and learn from them if they intend to ride the Miami Food Truck craze once it crashes.

Good f'n food, no awesome f'n food! This was clearly the most popular food truck at the Coral Springs Food Truck Festival today! There were always customers and the food was cooked fresh to order! I got the Short Rib Chunk'd Cheesy Spicy Tater Tots and they were awesome! The cheesy-ness blended well with the salty tater tots, the pork ribs and the spicy Korean gochujang. Wow! I was thinking about ordering either the angus beef "bulgogi" burger or the angus beef "kalbi" taco but then someone told me in line that the short rib tater tots were awesome so I decided to get those. So glad I did! The next time I can go to another food truck festival with Dim Ssam a gogo there I will definitely order the bulgogi burger or kalbi taco! Amazing food; highly recommended!

When I was told there was a food truck that served korean inspired food I had to try it! I love this truck! My friends and I can't wait for every tuesday night when we can meet up and eat here. I have never liked brussel sprouts until i dared myself to eat some from here. I will never look at them the same way ever again! They are candied and are just as addicting! the burger is perfectly cooked and so delicious. Its not too spicy but it does have a kick. The only thing I didnt like was the duck sandwich..it was too espensive compared to the amount they gave you and its was 10$ when the burger is 6$ and you get at least double the amount. It tasted great im just not a huge fan of cilantro. The prices are very very very affordable considering the amount you get. I highly suggest this truck to anyone.

Wow, I'm so glad my sister brought me here today. The food was exceptionally good. I ordered popcorn shrimp ssam which was probably the tastiest shrimp I have ever had. I recently ate lunch at this location and found a bug in my food. I politely (and quietly) told the hostess who then brought my food to the manager. The manager looked at me like I was a liar, then proceeded to apologize to the manager! She replaced my food, yet I was still skeptical. Never going to eat there again!

In fairness, i don't like the food truck craze-it is an oxy moron. You don't do gourmet food from a truck int he same way you don't take a Chevy to the Concourse. Food was only okay but I would a 1000 times rather eat at the actual restaurant which is awesome.

ohhhh my. There was a little food truck gathering on Bird and 65th and I was a lucky diner indeed to have been able to sample this food. I had the short rib tacos. These things are downright delicious, I don't even remember what was on it just that it was sooo flavorful. It was perfect with the coke in a glass bottle (with real sugar!). I'm making myself hungry again thinking about it!

My girlfriend and I are looking to try new places. I like Korean food, saw that the reviews were fairly decent for Sakaya Kitchen and we decided to try it. This was our first time here, and the attitude we got from the cashier and cook was ridiculous. I started talking to them about the menu, getting advice, seeing if they had a boneless version of the Korean Fried Chicken. "Boneless wings??" they say with attitude. "Yea, i had a version of it at a place called Bon Chon in Virginia, prepared the same way, you guys should give it a shot, might have a new hit item." We basically tried to give a suggestion, to spark conversation, they didn't take it as such. They didnt try to suggest anything. We ordered the KFC wings and Bulgogi bowl. The KFC wings were awesome, tasted amazing. The Bulgogi came a bit undercooked (inside was rare) for our taste. I'm Argentinian and i know how i like my meat prepared, we asked the cook if he can put it a bit longer. "He started to say that "this is how the meat is cooked, if you want it put longer, i can do it." My gf kept on eye on him to make sure he didnt spit on the food or anything. When the manager came by to ask the cook what was wrong with the plate, he responded in spanish (thinking we were american or foreigners) "No, that this people came in looking for trouble, trying to start problems, they want us to change our menu, now they say this plate isn't cooked right, and i cooked it right." My girlfriend quickly got up to correct him, to say that we didnt have a problem, we were trying to give a suggestion and ask about the menu. The returned Bulgogi did taste great afterwards. When we were done and i took the plates to the manager to say that the food was amazing. She gave me a mean look and said "Thank you." Great food, but shitty staff. We are an extremely laid back couple and never have any problems with anyone. It was our first time here and we wanted to learn about the menu, talk about the food we enjoy eating. I would think that the goals of a restaurant would be to continue to improve their menu, provide exemplary customer satisfaction, and experiment with new things to attract more customers. The cook talking crap about us in spanish was shocking.

i CANNOT believe how good the duck sandwich was. but at $8 it was pricey because it was pretty small, but boy was it good!!! 4 stars for this decadent creation.

This is one of my favorite food trucks. The food is a bit heavy but I don't go to the trucks expecting to keep my diet. I've had the pork croquettes, egg rolls, tator tots, tacos and the bugogi burger. All delicious!! I prefer to go with a group so that we can order and try multiple items.

Tried this truck at SBWFF & it was okay. The Chunk'd Kalbi Cheesy Tatar Tots sounded yummy but fell short. The sauce could have had more punch. In fact, the beef topping was the best part.

I love Dim Saam a Go Go!!! The short ribs with the tater tots and cheese, not too spicy....yuuuuumm! I love the pork ribs, croquettes and their spicy egg rolls! Love that they sell Coke in a glass bottle (really different flavor). All in all, great service, great food and now one of my favorite food trucks :)

Decent food, but after waiting in line 45 minutes they were out of almost everything we wanted. Then took 30 more minutes to get the 1 thing we ordered!! Disappointed after all the great reviews, may help if the line chef wasn't on the phone and texting the whole time while customers wait. Would not try again after this experience.

My first time trying the Dim Ssam a gogo food truck at the Miami Food Truck Rally. I have to say its the best! I had the tater tots....so freakin yummy! never had anything like it. It's like having tater tots with a splash of asian. Def try it you won't be disappointed.

I've only had a couple of items off their menu (tots & short ribs) but they were both top notch. They had one hell of a kick, but they were delicious. I've heard many great things about all their other food (especially the brussel sprouts) and hopefully I can try some new stuff next time I visit the food trucks. Richard is a genius with his food--always great stuff there. I can't wait to visit the actual restaurant!

This food truck can not dissapoint. It's korean inspired street food is always great tasting and perfectly priced. From the short rib covered tator tots to the duck sliders I am always blown away. I don't think they could get anything wrong.

My absolute favorite of the food trucks. The Cracklin' Duck Herb Sandwich is to die for. The flavors are delicate and original. I also order the Korean Fried Chicken Wings and "croquetas". This food is not to be eaten in a hurry. Each bite is to be savored for its delicate and unique combination of flavors. They make the food available at the other trucks seem heavy and boring by comparison. The only exception I can think of is Gasto Pod, my second favorite food Truck.

I sampled their tater tot short rib creation at Carnaval on the Mile & it was delish. The short rib was tender and perfectly seasoned; the tater tots... who doesn't love tater tots covered in a spicy cream sauce?! My only complaint was that I felt it needed a bit more meat for the price...

I love the food in this truck! Everything is delicious...somethings are spicy, but I like spicy food. I have tried several trucks, and I can honestly say this is one of my favorites! I look forward to trying something new every time I come across this truck.

Delish! Tried them for the first time this Saturday and the food was awesome! Had the duck herb sandwich which was amazing and tried the Korean fried chicken which was equally awesome. The duck sandwich had fresh cilantro, what I think to be cucumbers and was served on a soft fluffy bun. I couldn't stop stealing my boyfriends chicken wings. They were crispy, tangy, moist, just all around succulent! Will be going back.

OK - no need to say anything that hasn't been said before. Just adding a few more stars to its constellation of compliments. The Korean pork in steamed buns are tops. The ginger/garlic grilled chicken is more ginger than garlic but great healthy choice. Note - I ate at the restaurant, not the truck.

I live in South Miami and traveled all the way to Bayfront Park to try some food trucks. It was sure worth it. All the food items had catchy names. I tried the Korean pulled pork, the duck sandwich and the gingered brussel sprouts (generic names). I absolutely loved the brussel sprouts. It was slightly spicy, tangy, and full of flavor. I will definitively be trying other dishes when I see them again.

I had the pleasure of sampling Dim Ssam a gogo at the Bird Rd food truck court a few weeks back and I have continued to think of that glorious pulled pork sandwich all.the.time. There was a long line on a cold night but I knew the food would be worth the wait. As we neared the counter we heard the staff tell multiple people they had run out of something and unfortunately it was the Kimchi Eggrolls we had planned on ordering. I was sad, almost ready to deduct a star but due to this misfortune we ended up trying the tater tots and peace on earth resumed. Yummy little tots with a cheesy sauce were big enough for 3 of us to share as a side. We also tried the steak taco which was awesome and the "KFC" chicken wings which were also great thanks to some delicious soy sauce type seasoning. But again, the BIG winner is that delectable pork sandwich with crunchy pickle topping. I will stalk Dim Saam for another one very soon!!

The food (like the food at Sakaya kitchen) is pretty damn good. The problems are (a) the speed and (b) the price. If I'm ordering food from a truck, I think its pretty reasonable to assume that (a) it will be very fast and (b) it will be cheaper than sitting down and getting something similar. These ideas don;t seem to make sense to the operators, though. My wife and I got the pulled pork buns, kimchee egg rolls and one other thing that I can't remember at the moment, but like both of the aforementioned items, it was something that would presumably have been prepped beforehand and just needed a litlle (if any) heating). It took 25 minutes, and cost $20 (and we did not get drinks). Far too long to be standing there with nothing to do, when I could have walked a block away to their downtown location and we could have sat and eaten (more quickly, and at a table), for close tot he same price.

At last nights Wynwood meet up I was really looking forward to scoping out this truck & it did not disappoint. We ate the Kimchi Egg Rolls, Pork Belly Baö, KFC Wings, & the Ginger Brussel Sprouts. The pork belly & chicken wings were fantastic, full of flavor & well portioned. My husband really really really loved the pork belly, it may be one of his new favorite things. The wings were really crispy which is the only way I like them and the ginger, garlic, & scallion sauce was great. Also a plus for the venue is that they weren't super saucy. The egg rolls were fine but not spectacular like the other dishes I can't quite pin point why, but they just weren't. The brussel sprouts were super tasty but were extremely oily & the portion was way to large (I know this sounds like a strange complain but half would of been perfect). If they were just a little less greasy and there were a few less of them they would of been perfect. Overall solid food, we are already making plans try everything else on the menu as well as their brick & mortar location.

I was BLOWN AWAY by how god damn delicious every thing we ate from this truck. we had these ridiculously good korean wings, a pulled pork sandi, the tots and the tacos (one had short rib and the other was, i can't remember). i would go on to describe all of the dishes but truth be told each thing was spot and and out of control tasty. you have to go. it makes no sense to me how there weren't crowds around this truck..it's just a matter of time. oh, and they had this ridiculously soft and chewy cookie to boot. the prices make no sense.....GO EFFING GOOD!!!

We love the Dim Ssam truck and went to Cypress Creek last night just to get items to bring home. The truck was having propane/generator problems. They did not have the proper tool to disconnect and reconnect new propane. NO OTHER TRUCK that was there last night would let them borrow any tools to do so. I am very disappointed in the other vendors and didnt realize this was such a cut - throat venue. If we would have had our other car, I would have had tools for them to use. My son even tried to help them. I do not think that I will visit any of the other vendors again- as i was totally disappointed in the lack of helping their fellow Truck friends all for the sake of capturing Dim Ssam customers. Shame, shame on the fact that this is not a cohesive group that can rely on each other for help if necessary..LOVE the Dim Ssam food and will be there Friday at JM Lexus to support them- and will NOT support any others who were at Cypress creek last night and so UN-truck friendly-- to the need of only a tool for propane purposes..they know who they are !!

Acelyn B and I were strolling around Wynwood for Art Walk when I laid my eyes on this truck parked up on 2nd Ave. I note the excellent location as this was among the first truck I found before finding the rally where the rest of them were parked. I took a peek at their menu and knew immediately that I had to try their KFC wing. Korean Fried Chicken. OMG. YUM. The wings were fried and sauced in a light, soy sauce concoction. The sauce lends itself to be perfect for a stroll as it was thin and not messy to eat. The flavors and the crisp the chicken maintained were on point! I'm going to need to this truck some more to check out the rest of their menu. Can't wait to come across this fantastic gem again.

I'd consider giving a 5* for "best sandwich" for the cracklin' duck, but for the fact that I could have choked on the 2" bone that was in it (no action taken when mentioned to server/hostess, who was otherwise very nice). Love the concept and would like to try the other fusion dishes, being a big fan of Korean food generally.

Dim Ssam truck has turned my family into stalkers. It all started when my son ordered the calamari and shared some with my husband. Everyday after, my husband couldn't stop talking about it and was begging me to find out where the truck would be the following days. We found them in Hollywood on a Monday night during one of the regular round ups. We tried the pork buns, taters and the crackling duck sandwiches and of course more calamari. And yes, we have followed them around to other locations to get our fix. Sadly the burger hasn't been on the menu during any of my visits. It's hard for me to try other trucks when they are around. I keep promising myself I will venture out for some new discoveries. Check them out! Pure deliciousness!

Its nice to eat some Asian food once and awhile. This one is one of a few spots that I have added on my list of places with great food! They have a wide selection and all of them not only looks delicious but tasty as well. Service is great and the price is pretty much decent for all food.

This place does not deserve one star, it might have been good in the past when it was a food truck. Had lunch there today, two bite size pork buns for $8, the size was ridiculous, the pork was so dry that I had to drink to be able to swallow it.

Food Truck. Street Tacos with kimchee sauce. Do I REALLY need to say more?

We were already full by the time we saw this food truck so only tried two items. Ordered the Brussels sprouts and pork buns based on reviews, and they were both sooooooooo yummy. Can't wait to eat at this food truck again!

Wow, I'm so glad my sister brought me here today. The food was exceptionally good. I ordered popcorn shrimp ssam which was probably the tastiest shrimp I have ever had. Seriously, you have to try it. We also ordered pork buns which were amazing as well. I don't know how they make those buns so well. I think I found a new regular spot.
