Poor food quality and extremely awful service. You get a neglected vibe from the servers. They make for wait for ever to attend you. Never going back to this dennys again.

Horrible service. The manager was present at all time and he was not nice not welcoming at all. Drinks and food took more than it should have even though the restaurant was not full. At least the food was good!

Definitely not Ihop!! Cameo here right after I landed in Florida. I had the grand slam sandwich- comes with bacon, egg, cheese, sausage, ham, mayo on toasted sweet bread with maple spice, and hash browns on the side. Pretty good. The coffee was alright, nothing spectacular. Hubby was looking for an interesting type of pancake- but they had nothing!! Regular flap jacks- take it or leave it. I know we weren't at IHop, but at least come up with a chocolate chip pancake or something with a fruit topping on top like most ordinary diners have!! Pancakes for breakfast is just as popular as eggs- c'mon Denny's!! That's why they get 2 stars- not a great variety on the menu. Other than that, it's still an Ok spot when Ihop isn't close by and your craving breakfast.

Every once in a while even I need to eat light, egads even order from the senior menu! (No, no, I don't have that many gray hairs on my head yet.) Denny's is one the few places you can get a soup and light fare without having to labor over a hot stove. Since this Sunday was one of those days, I popped into my neighborhood Denny's. I ordered a chicken soup - served pretty promptly and I didn't have to ask for the crackers. It was a thick broth with linguini sized noodles and enough pieces of chicken. Next up was the senior chicken breast with mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. All three items were nice and hot , and although healthy not bland, The gravy on the mash was surprisingly thick and tasty! The chicken breast wasn't greasy, but still managed to have taste. I also have cool memories of this place coming back from Space & Karu back in the days, to the occasional post Art-Walk dinner lately..munching on Nachos, pancakes, etc..Dang another gray came out :) Service was very pleasant, always with a smile on their face and refilling my Sprite - yeah major health kick. My only complaint is that the chicken portion was a tad on the small side, and it can - not always - take a while to get service. You sometimes encounter panhandlers around the parking lot. Still, for decent diner food and a good breakfast, I plan to keep visiting.

The only reason to come here is to get your Denny's fix. The food fills the itch, but the service here is truly horrendous, and they know it! The last time I came here our server was beyond rude and annoying. She even stood over us as we signed our check, to make sure she got a tip, even though she definitely did not deserve one. Every time she forgot something she tried to blame it on us. Rude.

Service is the only main complaint about this location. The food has never been bad and they usually get my order right, but they always seem pissed to be serving you and like you are bothering them. Not always, but sometimes the servers are ok. Not really much else to say... typical dennys.

Terrible service, we waited for someone to come take our order and ended up walking out, servers in fighting behind the counter.

Woke up the morning of our move at 4:30 am starving from no dinner the previous night so we decided we both needed some much energy for our long day ahead. It literally has been about fifteen years since I have stepped into a Denny's. Not being a fan of breakfast much. Coffee, coffee, oh I needed it bad and they had some decent coffee. Hub's ordered the grand slam or something like that. Shoot, pancakes, bacon, eggs, toast, wow it had everything. I decided on a create my own Omelet with hash browns and toast. To my surprise it was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our much needed breakfast and we had a fantastic waitress who took very good care of us. The only complaint was there were so many rude, drunk people in the restaurant who were very loud and starting fights inside the place. Seriously, young very drunk obnoxious kids who should have been kicked out by management because other patron's like myself should not have to listen to that much vulgarity and disgusting talk. Expected because of business hours "yes" but it is still a business so that should not be tolerated. For a breakfast fix at reasonable prices with some good food, yep I would return.

Make sure to lock your car = and don't leave anything out in plain view or you might find yourself a victim of a smash and grab - Dennys, inconspicuously located amid my morning commute route, sure to feed my breakfast needs - usually eggs over easy with bacon and a stack of pancakes ....yum !

This truly is one filthy restaurant even for a Denny's, our coffee cups had coffee stains on the top and outside of cups as soon as the waitress sat them on the table. Service is horrible, they are nice whenever they show up !! Come drunk and don't be in a hurry, you may not notice all the dirt and you can catch a snooze waiting.

Do you like breakfast available to you 24/7? Need a meal to soak up all of that alcohol you drank last night? Do you like interesting people? Then this is your kind of Denny's. Came here after an amazing concert & not much was open except this charming location. I get breakfast here, always. You can't screw that up & if you do then.......may Jeebus have mercy on your soul. I love the All-American Slam & their shakes. If it were not for the unclean everything & slow service, I would have given them an extra star. 8^(

I have to say, I heart Angie!!! I come to Denny's every few months or so, usually after a very long night of work, when there is nothing else left open, and Denny's is the quickest choice, closest to home. With that said, I was amazed that my favorite waitress, Angie, recognized my husband and I the last time we went. She noticed I cut my hair, and even remembered the past dishes we'd ordered, so when I asked her for recommendations she knew whether we had liked them or not - oh my god! she's amazing. Such a cool lady with a wonderful attitude! I had the special menu quesadilla - and it was really really really good!!!!!

Went there for a late afternoon brunch. We were promptly seated as the restaurant was not busy. The waitress who seated us, took our drink order and said she would be back. A short while later, another waitress came around and asks what would we like to drink :). We were like the other waitress already took it. So, she left and then returned a short while back with the drinks. I guess there must have been confusion as to whose section that was. From that point forward though, it was the same waitress. The service was great and prompt. The food was the usual Denny's fare - Eggs, Hash browns, Toast, Pancakes, Coffee, Strawberry shakes. The shakes were nice n thick & tasty. Will definitely return to this place when in the neighborhood.

Ohhhh Denny's. Where else can you get six huge "pancake puppies" for $1.99 AND harassed by other people in the restaurant while casually eating your oreo sundae. Not many places. That's what makes Denny's so special. This is a pretty clean Denny's I thought, so that's good. The food we ordered was tasty for what it was- cheap and fast diner food! Of course our waitress sucked but that's to be expected, right? She forgot my soup (I didn't remind her to bring it though since I had enough food but STILL), she left the dirty dishes on our table while we ate our dessert, and when she asked if I wanted anything else she gave me this "don't you dare say anything!" look. But seriously when you need some down and dirty cheap junk food but a step up from fast food, come here. Just be on the look out for those hecklers at the next table...

Every time I come to this place, I try and come with a positive outlook hoping that it has improved... I was once again disappointed... I know... what should I expect from a chain restaurant? But still come on.. The "clean" tables are just really sticky.. I don't know if they mix windex with syrup to clean up... Some of the servers just give you attitude.. There was one time we were waiting for almost an hour before the server came and told us he forgot to place our order in!! Really? He got no tip from me that night!!!

Wow! Nothing like eating a meal all the while your waitress screaming over you saying,"whatchu gon go to da funeral, you see da body, is it open casket?" wtf?? Really? That's what management allows for that stuff to happen. It was disgraceful to talk like that specially while other are eating. No class. You sit there be sure NOT to have a sort of decent time. It will be full of the overly loud and obnoxious convos boosted by the waitresses in particular the one with the hot red wormy looking hair. Talk about hood and the fact tht she expects a too after she yells across to her friends tht eat as if anyone else has to hear it. It's just annoying, unpleasant, unacceptable. Management get on that plz....blahh

Not that you come to Denny's expecting a 5 star service and gourmet food, but I have to say it, he last couple of times I walked into a Denny's the breakfast was pretty good. Well not at this Denny's. I came in craving some breakfast on a Tuesady night and it was by far the most disgusting meal I have had in a while. I had a skillet that was just oversaturated with oil, vegetables that seem to be fresh out of the trash can and recycled, abd my side prder of hashbrowns was not only greasy but it tasted like what a hobo smells like...I dont know how else to describe it. My girlfriend ordered a cobb salad with some "prime rib" that was tougher and dryer than the cooks' shoe. The cook did a great job hiding the brown lettuce underneath a thin layer of decent looking one. If the food was bad, the service was worse. The only idea that I had was to fill my food with Tabasco to make it taste good. Quick fix....Not so quick. Now my food was not only disgusting but cold as well. Cold and oily is never a good combo. My girlfriend had a similar idea with the salad (its hard to mess up a salad, but they did it!). She ordered some dressing a few times in order to try to make the good parts of the salad somewhat decent. At least salads are eaten cold so that didnt deduct any more points. Paying the check took 10 more minutes which is an eternity when you just want to get the (bleep) out of a place

"Look, it's Denny's...What Do You Expect?" Scenario: It's 3:40 am on a Tuesday in Miami. Where do you go to eat? Denny's is where you go solely because it's open. Plus, how wrong can you go with breakfast foods? If you're willing to *brave it out and risk it--- it being your life* for some breakfast food here in midtown just know you shouldn't expect much, but it gets the job done. Sticky------ sticky! sticky! sticky! Bottom line, you're going to get sticky. Whether you walk through the doors and your flip flops stick to the floor --ok this hasn't happened yet lol--but just wait till you grab the ketchup bottle... The key is, stick with what's safe (no sticky pun intended); safe being breakfast foods: hashbrowns, eggs, pancakes, or a sandwich containing all of those. Ya, your hashbrowns might be burnt because the chef was busy chatting or your eggs are drenched in oil....but remember, it's Denny's and you're paying approximately $2. The service is kind of slow. It's 3:40am; the servers probably don't want to be there; they want to be sleeping just like you should be but because of people like me they're forced to be there at these odd morning hours. When it comes to dessert, once again stick with what is safe: ice cream. Shakes: vanilla is voted the best of the three flavors. Rootbeer floats are great too. Please don't order those slices of pie/cake in the glass case, it's going to be a disaster in your mouth. The shakes and floats are what keeps me going back. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night it does tend to get packed (10-15 minute wait) because like I said earlier, Denny's is the only place open. I would give this place a 3.5 if I could because it holds a special place in my stomach.

  • Kevin G.

Extremely slow servers. Took over an hour for the food to arrive and even then they messed up the orders. The table across from us were dying of thirst because their server never brought them their drinks. If you are in a rush, don't come to this Denny's.

  • Ethan T.

Tried this place twice now, and I will never return. Each time we have met here before work for an early morning breakfast my friends and I have been treated to fellow customers passed out in booths and on tables, dirty silverware and glasses, cold food, and dirty bathrooms. That being said, I will point out that the waitresses have been hard working and polite each time, but even that does not save this place for me or my friends.

    (1)
  • Matthew P.

While the food quality is on par with Denny's all over the USA; the service is what suffered; they got 3 of 7 orders wrong and put up an argument when asked to correct, considering that the orders were written down correctly but not entered as such. Waiting for cold food is never a pleasant experience... maybe better next time.

A couple of years back, I think Denny's was the New Times Readers' Choice for best breakfast in Miami. HoRRoRs!! Either that says terrible things about breakfast places in Miami or it says terrible things about the Miami population. Honestly. Breakfast can be so much more. Buckwheat pancakes topped with pumpkin infused syrup. Breakfast burritos with mashed sweet potatoes and refried beans. I mean whatever your taste, how can the run-of-the-mill, uninspired, cooked by underpaid cooks that barely want to be there food be the BEST?? And if the menu weren't blech enough, more than half the time, there's something not quite right. The eggs are too runny. The eggs are too dry. The ham tastes funny. The potatoes are overdone. The pancakes are doughy. But you don't complain... because it's freakin' Denny's. What do you expect? But you don't vote it the best and you don't compare it favorably to real restaurants. To be fair, I'm not going to write a poor review of Denny's just because it's bland and a crime against all self respecting restaurateurs and diners. No, I'm going to write a bad review of Denny's for all of the reasons I mentioned and to top it all off, that curly black hair that was under my runny eggs which the staff/management thought not to do anything about.

    (1)
  • Kristen C.

Went for a slice of pumpkin pie but ended up getting nachos also. The nachos were great-- took a while to get them though. Took even longer to get our slices of pie because they were obviously thawing them out! They were still veryyyy cold and even hard to cut through in the middle. There were ants on our table. The server was nice though. They charged my husband twice. Not my favorite.

Typical Denny's. I tend to associate this spot with super uncleanliness, but this one was a little more clean than a lot of the Denny's restaurants I've been to. That doesn't mean it was clean, but it was just cleaner than others. It was a bit crowded, but they have you in and out pretty quickly. Nothing spectacular about the food. They serve the typical Denny's food - pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon...

    (3)
  • La C.

Bad choice. We overslept the day we had to board our cruise. We had driven past this location the day before and said what the heck. Oh my word, everything was off! I've never had such an awful waffle in my life the batter was dense and tough, The bacon, well wasn't really bacon, it was like paper. The only decent thing were the hash browns, not much you can mess up with potatoes. The service was super slow, the waitress was busy chopping it up with her coworkers and not delivering the food to customers. Yuck, never again.

  • Lanie R.

This is a typical Denny's. C'mon 1 star? What are you exepecting? I dont think I would or could ever give any Denny's more than 3 stars. Some tables were dirty and the general crowd was kinda shady but it was 2:30 am and it's Denny's. Food is typical Denny's food. Not great but not harmful. I will still come here for beakfast!

It was my first time at this Denny's location and it will be my last. After a night of Art Basel we went for a late night dinner. We were craving hamburgers so we thought what other place than Denny's for that. The waiting time was short ( 10min) however, the waiter, took like 15 min to take the order, and are you ready for this more than an hour and half to bring the order!!!! we think she forgot to submit it to the kitchen, it is just impossible to take so long!!!!!, since the other waiters were bringing out plates after plates, nor did our waiter or the manager apologized for the delay. The food arrived tasteless, my friend who order a sample with quesadillas and mozarella sticks did not eat anything, because it was dry, and cold!!! bad bad bad..such a horrible experience. I understand that sometimes late night dining can take a little longer...but this was absurd.

This Denny's isn't quite as bad as all the other Denny's I've been to. The last time I went to one was back in 2004 and decided it was such bad service I would never go back again. It seems that in the Design District area there seems to be no iHop so I decided to suck it up and go to this Denny's. The food was ok at least, but the service was awesome. The waiter, Rickey, was kind, warm and inviting. You don't get that in a lot of food chain restaurants.

Went for a 4 am food fix and was pleasantly surprised. My waitress was awesome! She was attentive, got the order right, and brought stuff out fast. Stuff was clean and the food was to be expected: nothing fancy, but good enough for 4am :-)

Was Christmas morning, and most places around the hotel were closed. We were not keen on eating (and paying for a hotel breakfast) so we found a Denny's. Good and reliable. Was packed, though we were seated within ten minutes. I had coffee and a Grand Slam, pancakes and eggs. What more can you say? decent, good food, fair price - then we were on our way!

Very poor service. The waitress was in a hurry to take my order. Meanwhile I had to get up and ask for my cup of coffee.I am still waiting for my order and she doesn't near the acknowledgment us at all.

We meandered in just after 10pm because Panera was closed. We were seated promptly as there were only 3 other tables with people. Our waitress came out to take our drink order and brought them out fairly quickly. It went downhill from there. My husband ordered the fish & chips and I ordered a Caesar salad an a mango smoothie. Fifteen or so minutes later, she came back to give me my salad and to tell us that they didn't have any fish & chips. Husband changed his order to a Caesar salad. Ten minutes later she brings the second salad. The salad was old and we only ate about half of it. I never got my smoothie and it took us another ten minutes just to get her attention to get our check so we could leave. Won't return.

This restaurant thinks so little of its customers that they don't even bother to chase off the money beggars and other bums that loiter on their property -- some of them right there at the entrance! EVERYTIME we eat there, there's panhandlers at the door or splayed across the walkway out front. Why they don't issue trespass warnings and why management won't call the cops is UN-FCUKING-BELIEVABLE! We're going to find another Denny's -- won't go to this one again.

    (1)
  • Mike M.

I have be coming here for a long time and its always been decent. But the service sucked so bad today. I have to write a review . I literally waited like 20 minutes to have a hostess attention she told me I would be seated within the next 5 minutes. I waited and no one attended me. I left and I don't think I would ever come back here again the service was ridiculous.

All I can say is wow! If I have to sit here and tell you how to provide excellent customer service than you should not be a manager. The server was rude and she was not even talking to us but was at our table when she was talking to another employee in a rude manor. Our food was not sizzling hot. The worst part was when we told the manager he just stupid there and did not even engage. And when he found out I spoke Spanish he engaged saying, "I don't understand, you guys ate all the food?" I turned and looked at him and felt sorry for him. I promise of an IHOP was to open in that area, that particular denny's would not stand a chance.

Me and my relatives planned to have our breakfast at Dennys in Biscayne 36th St just this morning. We have a small dog so we went infront just to ask and check if its OK to bring our dog because we don't know their policy. As soon as we stepped in the door, not saying a word yet, this old man server with a ponytail yelled at us and told us that the dog has to stay outside.he is telling us about the rules and policy without even letting us speak.I tried to tell him not to yell and just say it politely but he kept on yelling and humiliated us in front of other customers.we are civilized people.he can talk to us in a nice way. He is Very rude and unprofessional in dealing with customers.

I started this review with 3 stars. We were seated within 3-5 mins (GREAT!) Our waitress Janeth (yes with an H at the end of her name) is a sweetheart and very attentive. ... 1 hour later.. I have given this place 5 stars!!!!!!!! Our food was hot, fresh and service was superb!!! And I can understand everyone who spoke here!

The service is horrible as well as rude waiters and waitresses. They told us the bar section is not first come first serve. We waited over 40 min to be seated with more than 20 seats open and less than 10 parties waited to be seated. This is more than disappointing, I personally was ignored and disregarded. The hostess Michel completely ignored our questions and requests. They should not have they location open if they can not cater to the few people that already come here.

Worst establishment ever. Staff is extremely rude to their customers and managers don't do anything about it. It seems that they promote rudeness. Will never eat here again.

Worst experience ever! The waiter was rude to us, all the orders came out cold and messed up we asked for no onions or cheese all orders had them nothing was right, one of the waitresses dropped a pancake on the floor and she put it right back on the plate as if nothing happened that's disgusting i wouldn't eat something off the floor! the bus boys and waitresses were arguing back and fourth about their job the whole time in front of us cursing each other out over who's job it was to do this and that it was just a disaster! This place has really got to do better! Was really disappointed!

Worst Denny's experience ever! You get the feeling that all employees are standing in the back just waiting for people to leave... Attitudes up the Ying yang. All we wanted was breakfast, the place was empty while the hostess stand just became more and more crowded.
