The location has gone though a renovation and looks great. Much more modern and it melds the bar and restaurant areas so that anyone sitting on the right side of the restaurant can watch the TVs. Sadly, they have not placed the same attention to detail in other areas. However, service is always spotty at best. On our last visit the kitchen sent out the wrong order and nothing was even done to correct the error. Our server just said "they didn't even apologize"... that really does nothing to fix my problem. We were in a hurry, so we didn't bother to call the manager, which was MIA for over an hour. As usual, the bathroom was gross. Towels everywhere, wet countertops, leaky toilet water on the floor and a bit of a sewer smell. Try to hold it if you can. As for the food. I happen to like it a lot, which is why I end up coming back. I'm a big fan of their boneless buffalo wings, chicken enchiladas and the carnitas fajitas.

This place was PACKED on a Sunday night. We were attended at a decent time frame but waited at the front for a hostess to show up (nobody was there for a hello). There were people streaming in and it seemed as if we will never get a table. The restaurant was filthy and waiters were running around. Luckily service was quick, food was served before we forgot what we had ordered(ever have a long wait time that you question your order?), and the drinks were brimming at the tip! Not coming back here, each table seemed taken and the amount of people there was ridiculous. And again I question the cleanliness of this place, don't know if they fully deep clean this place.

The wait: 20 minutes Waiter: Cody out did himself! Very attentive! Everything was perfect. Our food: delicious! We had a little bit of everything in our group. And the mango margaritas were superb! Very kid friendly as well.

This place has turned into a factory. The customer service is bad. I ordered the shrimp pasta and it tasted like those frozen Michelina dinners! As I went to the bathroom I almost slipped because the floor was Full of their chips and it was greasy! The bathroom was not clean either! I guess what keeps people coming back are the two for one drinks, but not me, not worth the bad food! The waitress was kind and the chips and guacamole are good but, that's it! I don't recommend This particular Chillis!

I have never had a bad experience at this place. The servers are always polite, and the food is usually good. Today, particularly, the restaurant was very crowded and our waitress still managed to deliver excellent service! We always had our cups full, and the food came out just as ordered. I ordered the Sweet & Smokey burger, it was okay, but the flavor just wasn't there. I also didn't enjoy the oily bread. Regardless, it was a good experience.

Ordered the 2 for $20 dishes. I had the cheesy French fries as an appetizer. Really small appetizer since you have to share. Hardly any fries and just covered with cheese. Had the tilapia. Nice and spicy with mango sauce on top. There rice was flavorless pretty much. Broccoli was really soft. Could have used some salt or something on top. Great waitress. Very attentive. Great atmosphere.

I don't really know how to judge my rating for this place.. But I give this place five stars for customer service so let me start with that. My experience here today was amazing, one of the best waiters I've had and I'm sad I didn't get his name. But man he killed it. Very efficient, right to the point for us because he knew how hungry we were. I love people who have a sense of urgency, even though it was our decision to go out.. we hadn't eaten all day and it was that type of situation where we were out all day with no food and finally found the closest restaurant. This waiter was very self aware and that makes him very aware of others, naturally. I ordered the spicy buffalo boneless wings bc im kind of on an all protein kick right now even though I'm vegetarian most the time and vegan other days. I have a feeling these chicken bites were a frozen meal type of deal. The buffalo sauce isn't my favorite but I like the consistency of the chicken, no fat. This was from the appetizer section and it was under 10 dollars. My partner ordered the new tex mex style bowls they have. He loved it, he said it seemed very home made to him. This dish was under 10 dollars. This place was crowded at the time we went. Around 4 and the lunch specials had just finished so I was a little bummed. The party sitting next to us were very obnoxious and loud watching a sports game. We were no where near the bar so it was frustrating and I couldn't hear myself think ( that type of loud ) this has nothing to do with the restaurant though because the customers are "always right" even the loud, annoying (can't wait til they leave) ones. None the less, would like to thank Chillis and our super rad waiter for his service today.

Well this place is always crowded The place is NOT clean Menu is all worn out and damaged Did you know that chilis came #1 as the most unclean restaurant Waiter is nice the mango tea IS DISGUSTING the floor is is full of paper and fries The water tasted horrible!... Makes me wonder if they ever change the filter Another fact!... Did you know their was another chilis in Miami that was closed down due to rat infestation?... Yup Will never come back

Other than the wait time great food for the price, remember this is still fast food, not grommet but for a quick and cheap dinner great place, I would recommend the two for one drinks.

I come here frequently, whether it's for lunch, dinner and or drinks. The renovations are nice but service is still lacking a bit. When you enter you are always treated nicely and feel welcomed. One of the perks of going to Chilis is that they have the NoWait app.... And it lets you mark your place in line voter you get there... A little better than reservations!

    (4)
  • Ismael G.

So I was eating my enchilada soup and as I was taking one of my last bites I bit into a thumbtack. I posted a picture of the thumbtack. Thanks Chilis. That thumbtack was tasty. Maybe I should try nails next time.

Please open a Chili's in West Kendall so you can make more money and the lines will be a lot shorter no excuses please you guys have plenty of money

My opinion of Chilis is that they're consistently reliable in your time of need. Example: they're open till kinda late and serve decent alcohol and happy hour provisions. I came to this particular location on a Sunday when the women's soccer game was going on. They told us it would be a 30 min wait but were seated rather promptly. Our service was just meh. I asked for broccoli on the side for my mango-chile chicken and no rice and they brought me the rice and no broccoli. Water went without refilling here and there. Waiter was kind of MIA. Overall nothing stellar about this place other than it being close to home and what I mentioned previously. I liked that it's remodeled but it gets so freaking packed and loud in there!! I guess if you don't mind meh service and a packed house then hey it's your kind of place.

Chilis is one of our favorite family restaurants to eat at. Quite upset that I am here with my toddler and he still uses diapers. Be prepared parents out there with small children. The new remodeled Chilis in Kendall does not have changing tables for your babies or young children. My husband had to leave and change my son in the car. Very disappointed that Chilis did not think of their large community of babies and toddlers.

There are few restaurants that I will go to and tolerate that the wait is long and the hostess talk about there problems by the stand. The location and the decor is what I love about this place. The server is good I had him before and he remembered us from before his name is AL. I love there skillet queso and their fajitas that appetizer and entree is off the chain! The dessert they have that is delicious is this hot skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream! OMG it is a food orgasm in your mouth.

  • Natalie A.

Haven't come here in a while. Was super pleased to see that it was remodeled. The place sooo much nicer. Yes I had to wait but it was fine for a Sunday night. The server was awesome extremely attentive and polite. The food was out fast and it was all delicious. This Kendall chillis is much much better then the one in Doral. Kendall chili has better service and better quality foods. The manager is doing a great job.

  • Josh S.

The service was good can't complain about the food, the one thing I didn't like was the little kiosk they put on the tables that makes paying "quicker" seems to me its just plain lazy and also kinda distracts if your having a dinner with someone and want to talk to them. Besides that can't complain about what matters which is the food and service. Also try there new ribs.

Horrendous, the second time were back since their renovation and it continues to get worse . First off the renovation takes away from the fun Chili's it used to be. I'm all for change if it's for in upgrade, instead we have a drab, boring, dirty diner. The server's were all over each other, sloppy and unprofessional. The ribs were overcooked and dry. I asked for butter for my corn and the waitress said they had no butter? Really?? Sad. Maybe its just this location but its ashame that Chili's has lost its finesse. Might as well have gone to the restaurant next door. They keep there windows clean and not full of greasy smeared fingerprints to look through. Won't be going back, obviously. Food quality and service is a big "ZERO"!

    (1)
  • Alexandra M.

I come here about once every other month maybe for some cheap drinks and greasy food and haven't had a terribly bad experience nor a crazy insanely good one either. The service is normal, the drinks aren't that strong, and the enviroment is what you would get from a typical Chili's. I do notice that this place gets packed on weekends and one Saturday night they told me they had a 45 min wait to be sat so we elected to go else where.

Horrible horrible experience. Bad service, food got everyone sick, nothing was available. Just a horrible experience all around.

Looking for a place to have dinner with that special someone? This ain't it. This is a mediocre restaurant that continues to disappoint me. It has so much potential to become a much classier and professional restaurant and yet it gives in the droves of customer who are comfortable settling for the sub-par experience. I came here for my birthday as my sister invited me to dinner. I've been here before a couple times already but it's been a while since then. During my time away they've added a new wait system for seating. You can still be placed on a traditional wait list or you can opt to use the NoWait app to automatically be placed in queue when you arrive. The NoWait app requires a quick account registration to get started and you can easily pick your restaurant and choose how many people are in your party. Now, with that being said, the end-results are still up to status-quo. They either don't call your name or can't hear them with all the noise in the restaurant. After being seated (at some point) you're server introduces themselves and asks for drink orders. We received our drinks rather quickly. I ordered a 2-for-1 frozen margarita. Do not expect for the margarita to come in the same size mug as the water or fountain drinks do; the mugs are actually much smaller, hence 2-for 1. For an appetizer I ordered chips and salsa. The chips were warm but a little too salty for my taste, nothing special. The salsa was just too spicy. I got a nasty kick in my mouth from the first dip. I avoid it as I wasn't sure I wanted to eat fire for the rest of the night. For an entree I ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta. The chicken was bland and mushy. It was very obvious it wasn't an actual chicken breast but processed chicken like the kind McDonald's uses to make their chicken nuggets. Again, nothing decent but the sauce made it edible even to pass for a decent pasta. The actual pasta tastes like microwave pasta from a frozen bag. And of course, the obligatory birthday cake came last, it was the chocolate brownie cake in a pan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top drizzled with chocolate syrup. By the time the dessert reach my table it had melted for while. Very sweet, delicious. Definitely not healthy. You'll notice in the table they've added a new tablet for each table. Yes, a tablet. It's purpose is to allow you to order an item while your server is away. It also has a card scanner and receipt dispenser for when you're ready to pay your bill. It also has games your children (presumably) can play for an added fee. No, they are not free. Overall, my experience was OK. My friends and family really help me overlook the faults at this restaurant. But like I said, a little work goes a long way. And this place could use some cleaning. Checkout the photo I've attach of the moisture and grime that builds up on the tables from laziness. It's ridiculous and not safe. And that's why chilli's, you get 2/5 .

If you were a regular at chilis like I was you are going to notice the change big time .chips & salsa no longer free wtf .menu has changed food is pricier. Noise level is terrible.servers are rude.i use to love coming here on a budget no more.a meal for 4 70.00 .not coming back .you lost a loyal customer.

I live very close so this place is always an option for my family and I. They have great food, awesome service, relatively clean floors and tables for all of the big families they get. I'm sorry but I cannot give this restaurant anything less than FIVE STARS for its great tasting food, affordable prices, and of course their awesome selections.

Food was ok, service was lacking. Our server had a look of not wanting to be there, when we finished our entrees without asking if we wanted desert she brought us the check. I told her that we were not done and we wanted to order desert and she didn't apologize. On top of that when she brought us the final bill she didn't bring a pen to sign the receipt, my husband had to get up and go ask for a pen at one of the stations. With that said, the food was ok, we love their cheese fries and their classic nachos. Our entrees were good too, I got the fajita trio which was steak, shrimp and chicken with the usual fixings of cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, my only complaint was that they only bring 3 tortillas for the fajitas. For desert we ordered what we always order the chocolate molten cake, although today the fudge was not melted all the way.

Alright SO to begin with... The wait for a table was about 30 minutes, which was understandable considering it's a Thursday night and the restaurant was full. But the wait for the server to FINALLY greet my table and ask for drinks was 15 minutes... Too long in my opinion. She was nice though, so that makes up for it. And the food + drinks came out at a timely order. The mango margarita was delicious, as always. As for my order? Well... since the grilled shrimp tacos looked so ravishing in the photo, I ordered it with mashed potatoes and their southern mac and cheese as my sides. To my surprise, the food did not come out as late as i expected! It was probably about a five minute wait, I was pleased. The first to come out was my mac and cheese, which was savory. Then finally, came out my shrimp tacos. One bite and I was impressed! The avocados were so fresh, not mushy at all! And the sauce they used in the tacos was sweet with a hint of lime, kind of similar to a baja flavor. So the food tasted amazing, but why do I only give this Chili's 3 stars? Because our server took FOREVER to bring out the most important thing, the dessert. Since it was my friend's birthday, we ordred a molten cake. Since she cleared out our table, we waited about half an hour for team to finally break out the birthday laval cake.

This place is nasty, and my server sucked, I can't believe the charged some sort of table entertainment cause I opened a game by mistake on the useless lil menu screen(I wasn't noticed about this -_-) the chicken was really bad, I'm not usually a hater but I am a server as well and this place deserves negative stars...

    (1)
  • Jesse L.

Horrible. Not going back. 1 hour and 20 minute wait to sit down. When we were seated it took some time for us to get waited on. The drinks took long to get to our table. The potato soup wasnt good at all. Our food took the longest time to come out. Im giving it 1 star because the server was very nice and cool. A little on the fast pace side but he was cool.

    (1)
  • Tesoro C.

Been standing waiting for a table forever. Waiters make no effort to accommodate. Worst chillis I've ever been to. Dirty counters for people to lean on while they wait. We got here at 730 it's 930 and we are still waiting. If it wasn't for the fact my stubborn mother asked to celebrate her birthday here we would of left long ago.

  • Yvelin R.

We've come here a lot and have normally been pleased. Usually do lunch during the week though. Service and food is ok. We love the 2 for 1 drinks. The kids menu is decent. Overall good experiences. There are always exceptions but nothing in life is perfect ;)

  • Belinda B.

Not my choice, but accepted invitation to go..sorry, I did that...hostess and waitress were nice - that's the one star! Apologetic about lack of coke, diet coke, and guacamole. Lol..I tried to play it safe with nachos - you can't mess up nachos, right? My stomach is still a little uneasy. One meal at our table was returned for being ice cold....we know everything is microwaved, so what happened? I'm over it.

    (1)
  • G A.

I love their new no wait app. So convenient specially knowing how busy they get on the weekends. I just log in and it tells me how many people are waiting in front of me. When it gets closer to our call the whole gang gets in the car and we go right in to be seated. Thanks for this Chili's :)

If you are thinking of going to Chili's on Kendall Drive and 117th DON'T. And if you do go and you happen to be sitting on a table and the server's name is Amanda Bo, run the hell out. Terrible service from this girl, slow and rude too. When I asked to speak to the manger, he totally challenged me as if I was lying and excused her by saying that she is one of his best servers. His demeanor sucked and that totally explained the bad service and why people there could get away with it. After I complained about her, she did not come back to the table for nothing other than pick up the plates. Mind you that our drinks were empty the entire meal. NEVER again. Absolutely ridiculous. Bottom line is that if I would take care of my customers like that in my place of business, I would NOT have a job. But then again, it all boils down to atrocious management.

  • Odele G.

Went to Chili's today after a long time( last time was beyond bad)... Today however our waitress was Amanda, we ordered the two for one margaritas, beer, chips & salsa... She came back quickly & with water, extra napkins without having to ask for it. Chips were perfect, not stale as they had been last time. The fajitas were excellent, had the chicken, steak & shrimp... I highly recommend if you had a bad experience go back... New servers, new management makes a huge difference!!!

  • Cristina M.

If you want to go to chillis I suggest you go to the one by Dadeland mall. Our table ordered the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was FROZEN. I asked our waiter to please give us another bowl and it was more frozen then the first one she brought. The spinach and artichoke dip was good but unfortunately, cold as well. The only thing good this place has going is the 2 for 1 special and bottomless chips and dip.

I love the location of Chili's Grill & Bar. I love their prompt service and their very good steaks. I'm with a friend that day and we tried their Steaks. Ordered their 6 oz. Sirloin, the sirloin has very soft tasty meat. It has an extraordinary smell, I don't think this sirloin is just the ordinary Sirloin. I love it. I would love to come back every time I'm around.

This place used to be a good place to go to for dinner or drinks at least in my eyes. First as you walk in there is an odd smell as if it hasn't been clean thoroughly in a long time. My wife and I proceeded to sit down at a sticky table. But we stayed and waited for at least 15 mins for someone to come to even acknowledge us finally the waiter came over and the only reason they get two stars is cause of him. Next time I'll be going somewhere else for dinner. No more chilli's from me.

  • Alejandro R.

Honestly this place is great when to are looking for something to eat at a good price. We are talking about great food and appetizers that will leave you thirsty for more. The 2 for 20$ deal is great and comes with a appetizer and a entree. I recommend chilies to anybody and it's definitely a place I go to often.

    (3)
  • Justin E.

Chili's used to suck but now it's better but service is still as terrible as it gets the food has gotten better and this time the staff actually cares more even though the restaurant has always been clean. So far OK

  • Josh H.

Chilis biggest selling point is the happy hour which I greatly enjoy. That being said, their selection is dwindling in variety. The food is reasonably priced for its quality. What chilis lacks in quality of food and liquor, they make up in flawless, exceptional, fast paced service. One sever that comes to mind is kelly that made an impression on me. Her genuineness and care for customer service is a definite reason to return.

    (4)
  • Josean C.

The worst service ever. You have to ask for a high chair to four different servers, you have to beg for a drink refill, we got dirty plates to share. Server never approach to the table to ask if everything was ok. Thanks Roberto.

    (1)
  • Amanda P.

So my boyfriend and I sat for 20 minutes before being acknowledged by our waitress.. waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks. food was good. The new computer system really allows the server to just be absent at all times and if you need something they're never around. glad it had a survey though.. Needless to say she barely got a tip.

    (1)
  • Diana T.

The only reason I am even giving two stars is because they make the drinks strong. This location is awful. The wait time is long, the service is usually not too great and some servers are downright rude and the food is just not good at all. Sometimes the food comes out cold and it is just sloppy and nasty. I suggest going to another location.

    (2)
  • Sandra M.

Chilis is one of those restaurants that I go to mostly because it's close by. I've tried several dishes and none of them has really wowed me. I normally just end up getting the big mouth bites (good but not great). The service at this location is hit or miss. It depends on the day and the alignment of the stars. You just never know. One thing is for sure though you can expect to wait a long time for a table. Your best bet is to arrive before 6 pm.

    (3)
  • Ana M.

I refuse to say that because I strive to pay less, I will get less. In my experience, I've been able to get good quality for a low price. Chili's is not the place to do that. First of all, I went on a Friday night. Terrible idea! The wait was an hour long! It was loud, and crowded. It was so loud; you needed to yell to hear the person behind you. The tables were so jammed you could barely get up to use the restroom. The food was terrible. Our waitress tried to help but she couldn't hear us which made answering questions about the menu impossible. Chili's gets a lot of customers because of an advertised 2 for $20 deal. When you arrive, you see that there are very few options which qualify for this deal. 2-for-1 drinks are also advertised. They are okay. The drinks are mostly hard liquor; you barely taste any of the fancy fruity stuff. You could get inebriated on two sips. I didn't like my plate and ended up ordering another one which I had to pay for. By the way, I didn't like my plate because it was undercooked. The waitress did not offer to exchange it for free. I ended up spending the same as I would at any other place, waiting an hour, and leaving unsatisfied. Safe yourself some time and money. Don't go.

Will never go back again. Worst service ever! Me and my boyfriend went for a change of restaurant. The server came up to us and didn't greet us just said "what u guys gonna drink" he brought us water and never came back! We sat there for 20 min or more and left never saw the waiter again.

    (1)
  • Jenny M.

My boyfriend and I came to the Chili's by dadeland tonight, and we were greeted and seated pretty quickly. The host was very kind and accomidating, explained the tablet well and told us our server would be right with us. We waited about five minutes before a man greeted us and we asked to be moved to a different table due to a party near ours being too rowdy and loud. He quickly rushed over and started cleaning another table, seemed to complain to his manager and sent another woman to seat us. Everything was still fine at this point, they seemed to actually care. Our new seat was fine except we were stuck looking at 3 dirty tables in front of us that hadn't been cleaned after previous customers left. For the next half hour we patiently waited staring at a menu and dirty tables while they neglected to come to us again. No one bothered to ask us if we would like a drink or anything, for 30 minutes! Seemed like most of the servers were just wandering around, very slow paced. No one cleaned a table or made an effort to tend to any customers. We just had to leave, we were very upset with the wait. I didn't pay for parking just to be ignored.

Went here today fot lunch. The Food was your averahr food from this place not excellent but not bad and it came out quick. But waitress was loud and obnoxious and didn't seem to likr the fact I was alone. I will not go back to this location.

I've been coming to this Chili's for years. Whether it's been for a weekend dinner with my parents or a meal after church with my cousins on Sunday, this has always been one of my go to places for good food. That hasn't changed over the years. The meals here are still great and the new menu items add more variety to the meals you can order. My family and I enjoy the food every time we go to Chili's. So why does this Chili's get only three stars? The service. In my last few visits, I've received below average service. This last visit may have been some of the worst I've seen yet. The waitress wasn't rude, but she was barely paid attention to our table. Every time she came by our table, she acted as if she was trying to get back to talking to her coworkers. It didn't help that the manager seemed to be talking with the employees. It's sad to see the service at such a good restaurant deteriorate. The food is still good but the service needs some attention.

  • Bernie H.

This establishment's customer service is horrible. We were there a year ago and ordered to go and none of the employees approached us or even greeted us. They just passed you by and pretend to not notice you. They just noticed us when we started looking irritated. How can you come back to this place if the customer service sucks? Customer service should be their number one priority 'nuff said.

  • Nawal B.

Great service by Jill, she was nice and quick. The food is normally great, I get salmon or steak fajita twice per week. We ordered the tilapia, and it was fishy, if I was not running late, I would have sent it back so I poured salsa all over it so I can eat it. No more tilapia at Chilli's!!!

  • Mercedes W.

This location surely and truly deserves 1 star but because my server was handsome (can't remember his name, but I don't recall him introducing himself) I'll give them 2, but even his service was off. My family and I went there expecting a good and hot meal, but what we got was room temperature and barely tasteful. It looked good, but was barely satisfying. When our server brought us our appetizers and the plates, I had to send them back because they were dirty. He took them away and returned with what he said were cleaned plates. After inspecting these plates for cleanliness, I realized that they were the same dirty plates from the first time (do not insult my intelligence). The silverware had small pieces of dry, eaten food. The experience all together was "blah". I've written all this to write that this by far has been my worst experience at a Chili's... I will not be returning to this location.

I never thought i would have to write a review about this place but after the mediocre service i got, i just have to. I usually go to this one because its the closest one to my house. I went on a Sunday evening and there was a wait (like always). I dont mind waiting but when i got to my table the waitress didnt bother to bring us napkins, silverware or straws for our drinks. They got the order wrong for our appetizer and she only bothered to pay attention to the needs of the big part next to us so we had to ask another waitress for help.. If i can, ill probably go to the chillis next to dadeland. The service here was just not good.

I love this chillis. Me and my mom and are chillis addicts no lie and this is out favorite chillis. They cook supper good here and their service is really good just don't come on the weekend because they're always packed

Don't eat the corn grilled guacamole after 6pm, it's not as fresh but if someone else orders it might as well eat it :) Margueritas are good. The AC is always cranked pretty high so might want to bring a sweater. Good consistent service though and that's always nice.

I had an early dinner at Chili's yesterday! The place was pretty empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately. Seems I always pick the busiest times to dine at Chili's, so that was a first for me! Our waiter comes over and takes our order and he was a bit of a jerk..I swear I saw him roll his eyes when I said I only wanted water! He had a sour look on his face too...Sorry buddy..not everyone drinks in the afternoon! His service ended up matching his jerky personality, but I decided to stay quiet, as we would get our revenge later ;) We ordered tostada chips for an appetizer and it was served with guacamole and salsa. The chips were fresh and crispy, and the guac was awesome. It was better than the guacs sold at many Mexican restaurants, as it was spicy, and had a nice kick to it. We nibbled on the chips for a while, but couldn't finish it, as they give you a large portion. For the main course, I had the Cajun pasta with chicken and my friend had the Chipotle chicken crispers. Everything was excellent. The little squares of chicken in the pasta were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The cheesy cajun sauce on the pasta was also great. Again, the portions were large and we took home half our food. Chili's has definitely improved the quality of their food. I dined there a few weeks prior to this visit and everything was perfect at that visit (including the service)! I saw the waiter from my last visit after I was seated...I should have requested him! So back to the service on this visit... We were basically ignored, and none of our plates were ever cleared from our table (including the appetizer plates), so when the check came, jerky got a 10% percent tip. I wouldnt have docked his tip that much, but I wasn't the one that paid the bill. My friend (who is usually a very generous tipper) felt that was all he deserved and she wasn't changing her mind! Most of the servers at Chili's are friendly and appear to like their job, we just didn't get one of those on this visit! Next time!

They have some great dishes which is why I keep coming back. Just wish they were prepared in a consistent manner. Always a toss up. And they need to clean up the place. Smells rancid sometimes. The good thing is that the hostess and management keep up with the incoming crowds really well. And the 2-4-1 drink deals are pretty sweet.

I want to start by saying that I scored this place a 3 because I experienced 4 star service at a 2 star place! Had everyone other than my server not been so illiterate and rude this place could've been amazing, unfortunately it wasnt. I walked in on a Tuesday night around 8pm, the Miami Heat were playing so I called to confirm table availability. The person who answered the phone said tables by the bar were available to sit at right away. I walked in 4min later, not a table in sight. The manager comes and asks if we have been helped! Standing there like little lost puppies it was a surprise he even needed to ask that question. I then proceed to explain that I called and was told there was tables open by the bar but there wasnt. He rudely explained that since it was first come first serve and the Heat game was on there probably wouldn't be any seats available for some time. Obviously I realize this, but why did this person on the phone tell me I would be able to sit? I couldn't deal so I walked away and picked my own table where I can see the tv.... My server then arrived! Thank G-D. What a f'in breath of fresh air. He introduced himself as Rob, gave suggestions and was more than hospitable. Actually he's the only reason I will EVER go back! I would just like to suggest that anyone who dines at this establishment bypasses the host and the manager and asks for Rob to serve them! He is amazing, his service was so on point I asked him to come work for my restaurant.

I'm a fan of their loaded fries. Nothing more. For those fries, I give 4 stars. Service is pretty good- at least those who have served me have done their job and even smiled while at it. 2 for 1's all day, everyday. And that's pretty much it...

Super noisy! Ordered the trio fajitas. The meat came literally raw!! Queso dip was delicious. Received my check before I ordered dessert. (I hate that). Wait until I ask for the check!!!

Don't waste your time waiting for a table here - why? 1. You'll wait for a very long time - especially during the weekend. 2. The quality of the food has gone down drastically in the past few years. The burgers can be extremely greasy. Even the chips and salsa, which I used to love, are bland now - the grease and salt collect in the bottom of the tray, and the chips are paperlike and have no flavor - probably because the salt has sunk down to the bottom. 3. The drinks are watered down. There are a lot of other great places to have an awesome lunch or dinner - why waste your money here?

My problem with Chili's is never knowing what I'm in the mood for or what to get. Pretty much everything is great and the price is decent enough to justify eating there. The only thing that I know for a fact that I would eat, if I would even have room left for it, is their lava cake. If you've never had a Chili's lave cake, you're probably one of the less fortunate people I pray for every night. And if you've never been able to try their white chocolate lava before they stopped serving it, I weep for you. I promise you, you will have a great eating experience going to Chili's with friends.

This place is horrible, I ordered the grilled spicy shrimp tacos and they where not grilled and cold. The salt shaker looked like it had been dunked in water it was a gunky mess. All in all it was a horrible experience, I guess you have to be drunk on the 2 for 1's to not notice the horrible food.

Went to Chilis this weekend, as always packed, but if you go to the bar section, you can get a table rather quickly (no waiting), waitress was ok, hard to locate to get a coke refill, had to ask another waiter for it, they brought out the appetizer at the same time as the order (which I did not like), had to order to take out, had to flag another waiter to take our order ( took a long time to get it) food was good, but they need to get more waiters.

The main thing you'll need when planning a night out at Chili's (particularly this location in West Kendall) is an abundance of patience. This place seems to ALWAYS be packed. I don't think there has ever been a time when I've come to this particular Chili's and been seated right away but I generally come prepared to wait so it's not usually a huge deal. Despite the constant crowds, Chili's is one of my favorite places to go out for drinks with my sweetie or a group of our friends. The Presidente Margaritas are really the main thing that keep me coming back for more and last night, I tried the Platinum Presidente Margaritas which quickly nudged the classic Presidente ones down into second place on my list of favorite drinks from here. They do put way too much ice in their drinks but I'm not one to nurse my alcoholic beverages so I don't give them a chance to get watered down. The Presidente and Platinum Presidente might seem like a bad deal since they are not part of the 2 for 1 daily special but since each Presidente usually fills my glass at least 3 times, it's more like 3 for 1 in my book and well worth every penny. The food is pretty good for being bar food. The mini burgers and the wings over buffalo are sinfully delicious! The guacamole, mozzarella sticks, cheese fries and quesadillas are pretty tasty from here too as is the corn soup. My better half swears by the Margarita chicken but I've never given it a try myself. I tend to go for the menu items that probably pack far more calories than they are worth but that's why I almost always put a few extra miles into my run for that day and by the time the second margarita comes around, any guilt I might have come in with has already been washed down anyway! :)

Pack'em in Chilis! Waiting to be seated is a tradition at this point lol. Bar area is alway fun while watching games. Usually stick to beer or Margaritas. TIP: Be prepared for parking headache during peak times

I haven't been here in years. With so many great restaurants in Miami, there is no need to end up in a chain restaurant unless of course, you are in a group of people and the majority decides it. Don't get me wrong, this is a fine southwest/tex mex place if you think The Olive Garden is great Italian place (sense the hint of sarcasm there?) The food is ok, the portions have been reduced drastically. If you get more than 3 pieces of meat or chicken in your fajitas, you are lucky. The service is sub par, at best and I find it ridiculous to have to wait half an hour for a table in a half empty restaurant. I don't think I'll come here again, unless of course I'm been dragged here.

I've been coming to this Chili's for over 10 years. The food has always been served promptly and has always been really good. The service has usually been very good also. The host/hostess is a hit or a miss. Sometimes they just ignore you when you walk in. Other times, they are more attentive. The only thing that I seem to experience more and more is a LOOOOONG wait time, especially on the weekends. And once upon a time, they let you call ahead and put your time on the waiting list before you got there. Even though this one doesn't, other Chili's locations still have that option available (like the one by Dadeland). The only other negative is that it is really loud. Not a place where you want to have a conversation without yelling it to the rest of your party. All in all, I put up with the noise and the wait time because the food and service are good, and the prices are reasonable to (average $10/12 per plate).

This has got to be the WORST restaurant to eat at in all of Miami. I have no idea what this Chilis puts in their food, but you cannot come here, at any time of day, on any day of the week, without an hour / 2 hour wait. It is always packed. And with the worst kind of Miami crowd. That special brand of low class Miami person typically found in Kendall. Shudder. And the food isnt even that good! Mind you Chilis serves standard platter style food. The same thing you'll find at any Chilis, Fridays, Flanigans, etc... for my money tho, I rather spend a little extra and have a really great dining experience somewhere nicer, like Jaguar in the Grove.

Saturday (November 9, 2013) night my wife and I took a night if from the kids!! Movie at home and dinner at Chili's. WOW... So we get there and they are packed. We wait like 15 min and they sit us at the bar. BEAR is our waiter.....very nice and attentive. We order the two for twenty. The chips and guacamole and both of us get the chicken fajita. Glad my wife didn't get stuck with my plate. Sunday morning 4am I have the runs and man it was bad. All day Sunday the same, all day Monday and Tuesday morning I drink some Gatorade and water in the morning....now puking. Go to west Kendall baptist ER and I'm diagnosed with food poisoning and dehydrated. I called chilis 1-800 customer care and they were so worried and promised the area manager would get back to me. So now it's Friday and I haven't heard from them. I would not eat at this Chili's....horrible. In the past they served my kids raw chicken and my wife caught it in time before my 5 year old ate it. All they did that they was say oh sorry and have my sons meal free. They obviously have a problem in the kitchen.

Pretty much hate this location. I'm not a fan of this chain to begin with, but let me just explain what happened. I was there and ordered a drink with whipped cream on top. We sat near the bar area so I could see our waiter get my drink from the bartender. The bartender was a girl and the waiter was a little guy. She tried to look sexy or something and started to stick her finger in the whipped cream and licked it off her fingers, then repeated a few times. I watched as she dipped her fingers in my drink over and over. The little guy was sweating. He looked over and saw my evil eye. The girl refilled the whipped cream and he put it on his tray and brought it over as I was looking him dead in the eyes shaking my head no. No, as in you better NOT bring that contaminated drink to me. He sat it on my table and I told him to take it back. He seemed scared to death and stuttered if I wanted a new one and I just said "no, check please". We didn't complain, no point. That's what happens in these locations. I just have no interest in ever returning. I won't say what happened the time before that. That's another story. No need to mention the wait, bad service, or blah food as that's been done. On a positive note...once I had a decent light pasta.

I think everyone and anyone that lives in West Kendall wants to dine at this particular Chili's. The results are : -overcrowded parking lot -extremely long wait times to get a table -a good excersise in patience when your food does not come out as fast as you'd hoped From a franchise perspective this is a PRIME location. It's like anyone within a 10 mile radius wants to visit this Chili's. I wish I owned it. However, as a patron - I will only eat at this Chili's if it's absolutely neccessary (for reasons mentioned above). I ended going here for my little sister's H.S graduation. She wanted ribs so I figured Chili's would be a great choice since it was Monday and they had opened about 15 minutes prior to that. Surely, we'd be seated right away (which we did) and get our food served fast. We found parking right in front of the restaurant as well. We were greated by very friendly hostess/staff. Even our server was great. His English was broken but he was aiming to please and that's all that mattered to me. Then the inevitable happened. We forgot the graduation was for a high school in West Kendall (Felix Varela). Twenty minutes after being seated, this Chili's became a zoo. It got packed with other graduates who wanted to celebrate this day with their familia at Chili's. Our waiter got double and triple sat. The results were : -We sat through most of our meal with dirty plates/glasses we weren't using -Although our appetizers drinks came out fast our entrees were extremely late -Our server became overwhelmed and began forgetting things like refills, water, hot sauce, etc. I'm of the opinion that it isn't that this Chili's simply doesn't care about it's customers. It's that they are consistent at being ill equipped to handle the volume of traffic this Chili's store gets. I heard things coming from the kitchen like "Jesus Christ, could you please get me XYZ - my area is packed!". We were seated towards the back nook of the restaurant and you could hear how high paced and stressed the staff was becoming. Anyway, Chili's I gave you a try. You're awesome to dine at when you're not a zoo. Question. When did they get rid of the Thai Lettuce Wraps? Those were my favorite! Apparently, they've been off the menu for 3 years?

  • Nydia M.

I'm never going to understand why people are willing to wait over an hour for the same quality food they serve at McDonalds for a 4 minute wait in your car. This Chili's location is just as gross as the one in Doral. The drinks are watered down, so of course they're going to give them to you 2-4-1. The food is nothing special, and the service is slow and apathetic.

    (1)
  • Alexandra M.

This is definitely not the cleanest Chili's. Every time I pick up a menu at this place there's some disgusting, sticky film on them. GAG. I recommend you bring some hand sanitizer and some patience- the wait here is typically a long one, especially if you're in a group.

  • Jessica C.

And for Jessica's very first 1 star review, the award goes to........Chili's! WOW what a terrible experience at this particular location. For starters, I was far away from my usual four corners and had no idea where to eat with my friends. After several other places had over an hour wait, we decided on Chili's 40 minute wait. Once our name was called, we were seated immediately. Our server didn't show up for about 10 minutes which we all know that's like eternity especially after we were waiting sooo long and were beyond starving. We ordered our drinks and that took about another 10 minutes...oh by the way, they seated a couple about 5 minutes after us and they had their drinks and appetizers already...oh hell to the no! As the server was putting the drinks on the table, he slammed my drink so hard, the drink spilled all over the table and my hand. I asked for napkins, which didn't show up. On top of that, My bestie's strawberry daiquiri tasted like straight up plastic. We flagged down the server who then called the manager over. While we waited for the manager, our food showed up. The server handed me my plate and forgot to mention it was boiling hot. So of course I slammed the plate on the table since it was so hot and guess what the server said........wait for it....... "oh yea it's fucking hot" SO at this point I'm beyond livid. The manager shows up and apologizes for everything and offered free drinks and dessert. I told him about everything in which he asked "what can I do to make it better?" I simply replied with "it's beyond your control." This just confirms how much I try to stay away from chain restaurants. NEVER again Chili's...NEVER!

  • William M.

My favorite Chillies in Miami. It offers the same OK food as any other Chillies, but the wait for a table and food its short during weekdays and Sundays. The bad thing is that it has horrible cell phone signal.

  • Diana L.

This is by far my favorite Chili's in Miami. Why? Because its my hangout restaurant here in Kendall, and they also have the best service compared to the other Chili's. The waitors are quick and friendly. The wait time for a table tends to be pretty long though up to 40 mins to and hour on most days.

  • Vanessa S.

I've had this feeling before... where I have such a bad time, I swear off all chain restaurants for the rest of my life... but this one takes the cake! I generally expect a little less on the service side when it comes to the chain restaurants, but last night I visited this Chili's with a group of friends and it turned into a whole night affair. We knew the place would be busy so we decided to use their call ahead service, just to get a little ahead of the line... unfortunately, this didn't help at all... when we arrived they told us that regardless of having called ahead we would have to wait 2 and a half hours!!!!!! Having decided to stick it out we hung out by the bar and began ordering drinks to pass the time... and booyyyy did the time pass... and kept passing... and passing.... until 3 hours later when they finally seated us.... we were a large group, yes, but not exaggeratedly large, we were 10 people just trying to get some French fries and two for one drinks. Finally, we sat down and we hoped that the waiter would take our wait time into consideration and step it up on the ordering and service. Not the case. We asked him to please let us order right away, he left... ten minutes later he's back to take drink orders, left again.... another five minutes later he's back to take our orders.... the food comes out,, everything came out right at least... but is it wrong to have wanted him to offer us some measly chips and salsa on the house?!?! My vow is official... never again.... I won't eat at a restaurant that has more than 3 locations within a ten mile radius.... Aurevoir chains!

Chilis honestly use to be my favorite restaurant but lately I dont know its been sucky. It literally took the bar LITERALLY WITHOUT EXAGGERATING ABOUT 25 minutes to make me one vodka tonic just one. The food is ok, the service it could be better but its alright.

It's just like most other Chili's restaurants out there. This particular location happens to get really packed, so you might be waiting for a while for a table. Because of the fact it gets so busy the service can tend to be a little on the slow side and the service can be a little lacking because the waiters and waitresses have to attend to a ton of people, so I don't really hold that against them too much. The drink specials are always good...I mean, who doesn't love a 2 for 1 special? The food is decent, my favorite happens to be the Big Mouth Bite Burgers....delicious little morsels.

This Chili's is ALWAYS packed. I recommend going to explain drive and head over to the Dadeland Mall Chili's. The staff is pretty friendly. I feel like they changed a bit, but otherwise it's Chili's. I'll still come back!

Chili's is an awesome place to go for lunch for several reasons. The price is affordable, the employees are friendly and the food is delicious. Moreover, i ordered a soda and watched sports on their televisions. Since i was buying items for friends and family., i thought i vist for a few minutes. I am totally looking forward for seeing u soon. Oh yes i almost forgot and the interior is clean : ). see u soon : )

I used to be a regular at this location. Either for girls night to have drinks or to go on a date night with my fiance. I used to love their margaritas and chips and salsa - now, yuck! Their chips are disgusting! It tastes like oil and they serve them to you with little pieces left over from other chips that have been fried in that same oil - they are gross! Their margaritas are not the same quality as before - you cant taste the alcohol at all!!! I recently went because in order to meet up with a group of friends, this was the most convenient place for everyone. One of my friends and I ordered the chicken fettuccine - what a disappointment! It wasn't cooked! Very little sauce, dry, and hard un-cooked pasta. We returned our plates and the manager said that they had to throw away an entire batch of pasta and that we should order something else. I ended up just ordering mashed potatoes along because I wasn't hungry anymore, since their service takes so long!

Go to the one on 72nd Street. This Chili's smells, the crowd at this place is very immature - ghetto, the staff is also disrespectful. Long lines, long waits, overcrowded. Not worth it.

So I decided to come out to grab a bite at this wonderful chain of almost Mexican food on a sat afternoon.... Big mistake. Huge! As a single diner (I like to eat alone) I looked for a space at the bar. Seeing two empty chairs I assumed it was safe to sit down till a bartender told me with a poker face that it was a server station and I couldn't sit there. Now... Were the chairs for the servers???? The bartender was definitely lacking people skills that a bartender should process. You are not a big shot in a Vegas or south beach night club, dude.... It's Chili's for god's sake! A really nice hostess found me a table and after I sat down it took about 10 min just to get acknowledged. AND the acknowledgement was the following: "u by urself"??? When I looked at the server with a surprise and responded "yes" he replied with a roll of his eyes " just asking". That was it. A few min later another server came up and took my order. A very nice girl. The food came out extremely fast despite how busy the place seemed to be. Honestly, this store is lucky I'm just a customer and not a spotter.....

Chilis = terrible. Really, the place sucks. First, not vegan friendly in the least. And now for the two-for-one drinks. People, pull your head out of your ass. Chilis serves these 2-for-1 beers in 10oz. mugs. That's right, thrifty diner: 10.oz mugs. So you're getting 20 ounces of beer not 2-for-1, think about it. That's how they draw people in. People see 2-for-1 drinks and go crazy. As for the mixed drinks, they should be called grog because that is what they are: watered down alcoholic drinks. And on top of that, they use well liquor. The food is very low on quality and very high on salt.
