Just ok. I got a garden salad and house Stromboli togo. The Stromboli was good, the marinara was not (too bitter). The salad was not good either. Iceberg with red onion, one cucumber slice, and one grape tomato. That would have been fine, but there were several slimy green pieces of lettuce. I give this place 3 stars, instead of 2, because it was packed on a Thursday night with locals and has a dive feel. I like that.

Driving home to WPB from orlando. Couldnt decide where to stop but ended up here via yelps help. Pull up and the place looks quaint, and somehow you just know its going to be good. Sat down right away, had the mom n pop feel and a new england sticker, i felt at home! Had the greek salad, good dressing! But i always appreciate greek salads with chunks of feta, chunks of tomatoes and cucumber. Just my preference but still great. Also had calamari that i dont believe was ever frozen, super delicious. Lastly the new england style pizzas, one buffalo chicken and one Margherita. Both excellent!! Service is as expected, friendly and easy going. Next time im driving through town i will go again

This place absolutely lived up to the reviews. Everything we had was absolutely delicious!!! The service was exceptional. Our waitress was personable and very friendly. The place was on the cozy side so you could see what was going on all over the restaurant and all the employees seemed to be just as welcoming as ours was. We ordered a Chicken Alfredo deep dish pizza, a Shrimp and Bacon deep dish pizza, Chicken Parmigiana, a spinach and cheese calzone and a Pepperoni, Beef and Mushroom pizza and 2 appetizers. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The Chicken Alfredo pizza was probably the best I've eaten. We had plenty of leftovers and they were eaten before the end of the night. My 3 teens gave it two thumbs up!!

Absolutely recommend their Vegetarian pizza - The crust was so fresh and so were the toppings. The portion sizes for other dishes like Baked Ziti with sausage were good. I don't think I'm getting pizza from anywhere else in Melbourne!

Great pizza place! Friendly servers and it was not a long wait for really good pizza. We were grateful to find this on yelp!

We came across this gem while making a pit stop in Melbourne on our 6 hour drive back home from visiting family on Thanksgiving. We ordered their white pizza, and after having my second slice I was disappointed when I looked down at the box in my lap and saw my bf had devoured the remainder of our medium sized order. I'm a huge white pizza fan, and Sweet Tomatoes' white pizza is on point. It was very flavorful and had the right amount of gooey cheesiness, without the drippy mess of being overly greasy. Oh, and the best part? We ate for less than we would've had we stopped at a fast food establishment. I hope we get a chance to dine in next time and try out some of their pasta.

I can only speak to the pizza so, if you're looking for review on their other offerings, keep scrolling. Their pasta, sandwiches and seafood look great, but I'm all about the pizza. Best in Brevard county. My wife and I do pizza 3 times a month and our date nights consist of happy hour and a new pizza joint. We've been to most between Cocoa and Sebastian (and beyond) and Sweet Tomatoes is by far our favorite. There are so many sub-par NY style pizza places in Brevard. It's as if anyone from NY thinks they can come down and open a pizza joint and it's great just because they are New Yorkers. This is not NY style in the sense that the crust is not mushy, but not cracker-like either. It's right in between, meaning you can pick the piece up by the crust and it will "stay straight." Great chew like a real NY style pizza (from NY, not here). Service is always great. John seems like a hoot, but I have never met him. Several servers have been there since I've been going (10 years). Try it...you will like it!

Another great find. In town for golf, used Yelp to find great pizza place. Pizza is excellent. Would highly recommend

Not sure why Yelp lists them as delivering. I called tonight and was disappointed to find out that they don't deliver. I gave them 5 stars anyway because it wouldn't be fair to knock them for this... Just wanted to save other people time.

Lunguica pizza. For this Massachusetts transplant I need not say more. YUM! I am sure the other food is good, but I'll never know. :)

I would call this place a cozy little Italian/Greek/Seafood "Diner." I had the lobster roll that was on their specials board but everything looked and sounded great. I can't wait to try more of their menu.

  • Tammy R.

Tonight we had three different entrées. The mini Stromboli which is always one of our favorites. The lobster and shrimp casserole which is good but small. The grilled salmon with vegetables which was very good as well. They are super nice here and always consistent and good

Stopped there on my way down to Palm Beach. What a welcome stop for a quick dinner. Service was pleasant and speedy. Pizza was outstanding as was my mother's Greek Salad. Great stop for families, very reasonably priced.

Good pizza, good price, the waitress was friendly and quick, local place as opposed to a chain, I'd go back.

Saltiest pizza crust on a pizza I've ever tasted. So gross!!! Mozzarella sticks were blah. Service was very much lacking. Our server spotted a friend outside and disappeared for a long time, and we sat and waited for a box for way longer then acceptable. We possibly would give it another try but for now there are way more places to try.

Closest to my preferred northeast US (NY, NJ, etc) style pizza, I've had in Florida. Owner is Italian-American transplant from Boston area. I'm a pure pizza fan and I LOVED it!! If that's your taste, you will too. Great food!! Reasonably priced!!

We have only just begun to sample the food here. Today was our first visit and there were so many dishes I wanted to try, alas must return. All four of us were happy with our meals. Our boys, hard to please pizza connoisseurs, split a 12". My gyro was very good, hub's steak grinder was good also, we ate our meals completely. We will be back, to enjoy the many other dishes. A wide selection of foods to please all. Reasonably priced, dining space is clean, casual comfortable. Service very pleasant!

I had the eggplant Parmesan over pasta, enjoyed it, with fresh unsweetened iced tea. On another occasion we had a basic cheese pizza to go, really liked that. I'd definitely go back.

  • Kimsy S.

I really enjoyed it here. We (2 of us) ordered a 12" pepperoni, which came to about $11, and we could barely finish it all. It was hot, tasty, and filling. And the servers were attentive and friendly. Very good experience for the price. Just beware: it tends to get crowded, so plan accordingly or get take-out. I'll definitely come back soon! :-)

I ate here for the first time today and is was delicious! I ordered pizza and added my own ingredients. It tasted so fresh! Normally I like to dip the pizza in ranch but didn't even need the ranch it was so good! What impressed me the most was the owner was behind the line preparing the food. Not something you normally see in a restaurant and definitely not on a Thursday afternoon. Will visit again in the near future!

We love this place, best pizza in Melbourne! Their fried oysters are killer. Beer is cheap. Service is friendly-homey.

Went for the basics and tried the cheese pizza and ricotta/mozarella calzone... also the special Garlic Buffalo Shrimp appetizer. Food was average and the buffalo shrimp had more batter than shrimp. Owner/Chef John is extremely friendly. I'd suggest asking him for the days specials (ask what kind of fresh seafood/fish arrived on that day). He seems to be very selective about the quality of ingredients used for the food. Overall a great place. I'll definitely be back for their seafood and meat dishes.

  • Joycelynn D.

The pizza is good but I really don't like the waitress there. One young waitress forgot to bring our pizza and the kitchen staff had to ask other waitress to bring to us. And the other waitress was very loud and the whole restaurant was her voice.

  • BJ W.

This place was terrible! The Food and Service were nasty, extremely under par. They accepted credit cards but wouldn't allow tips on them. Perhaps noone knows how to add and subtract at the end of the night to reconcile the cash. Then to top it all off they have a bumper sticker by the register that simply says " Thank you President Bush." Need I say any thing else. Never Again!

Great food, had the house Stromboli and enjoyed very much. Place had a local business charm and the owner\cook was polite and asked us how the food was. It was Awesome! The servers were also great and were prompt along with the service. Bring money for a tip because they can't accepts tips on their credit card machine.

Pretty nice little place with some alright food. I could see us going back at some point in the future, as my father inlaw thought it was wonderful.

Medicore food, Lousy Service = A Bad Eating Expierence We went there for lunch, were barely greeted by the waitress who told me quickly to "look at the board for specials" and walked away. We asked for a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 veggie pizza which they wouldn't make, so ordered a single slice for the kids and recieved a small pizza instead. Staff seemed uninterested and unhelful, carpet looked nasty from stains and no space on reciept to leave a tip (not that it would have been a big one!) We're 'one and done'!

Great little Italian place! Not exactly a romantic cove. More for hanging out. The zucchini sticks were awesome. Try the eggplant parm sandwich. Meatballs were okay, tasted pre-made. Attentive, friendly service. Moderately priced.

I love a thin crust pizza and the Greek Pizza is really yummy. So far we have only been twice and it is always packed. I haven't tried anything else but I asked the waitress about the fish and she said it is all freash starting on the weekends except the coconut shrimp so being a Bostonian I will HAVE to try the whole belly clams next time!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
