This place really has a great staff and awesome food!! Everything I just tastes so fresh and made I house. Not to much from the freezer here. I would definitely recommend this for best Italian food in the Melbourne area. Plus the beers are cheap and cold.

My family and I have been here several times over the years. While food is decent and service so so. The owner never once has said hello, and he has been there almost every time we have been there. If I was a restaurant owner and saw family of five come in more than once I sure would make sure to say hello and make them feel welcomed, not just walk by like i had better things to do. I know other small mom and pop restaurants we have frequented in the area have made us feel welcome. Don't get the FIA special pizza in an individual slice. They just take a piece of cheese pizza and add toppings and reheat. Just not the same and not very good. White pizza and Alfredo are excellent. Suggestion to owners have specials and drinks deals. Don't to your customers if you are there and welcome them.

Wouldn't come here for pizza. Better places to go in town for that. Salads are fresh. Will have to try their other entree type dishes and update the review. Wait staff is hit and miss.

We stopped in for lunch. My husband wanted to get the $7.99 pizza buffet, which was advertised all over the store front, so he could get as much bang for his buck. However, there was no pizza on the buffet when we arrived nor was there any placed on the buffet for the 10 minutes we sat at our table without being greeted. We finally walked up front and asked someone behind the counter. We were told the buffet only included cheese pizza and the salad bar... talk about misleading advertisement. Only cheese pizza? And they didn't have any of that for the 12:15 lunch rush? And no one greeted us for over 10 minutes? We walked out. Disappointed on many levels.

The service was so horrible, our order was wrong, never fixed, and even then the pizza was not good. I had one drink as I was not in the mood to give them any more of my money after all the issues. We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night, the bar was not full at all yet. The waitress could not seem to figure out a simple order of their deep dish pizza with pepperoni. This is not a complex order at all. We got the pizza no pepperoni on top but often with a deep dish the pepperoni is buried. By this time the rest of our big party had showed up as we were their with the band who was coming out that night so they had us take over these two big tables. In the mess all of this happening neither of us really noticed the pizza and instead started talking and had a round of drinks. We then took our first slices of pizza and I did not like it at all but my GF said it was okay. We found no pepperoni in the first slice. By this point that bar was now starting to get crushed with people as the band was playing at 7:30 and they only had two people for their waitstaff. The pizza sat on a tray at the end of the table out of view as we were pushed down the table as people arrived. By the time we got to the point that we could talk to the wait staff only three slices were gone of a 16" deep dish pizza so it was clear it was not being eaten. They said they would take care of the issue then disappeared and we never heard or saw that women again. I was very annoyed at this point as I was hungry yet we were out with a big group so I did not make a big deal out of it and decided I would just stop for a bite to eat after I got out of this place. Then the bill finally came after never seeing that women who was going to get things fixed 45 min earlier. It had the pizza on the bill and our waitress asked if we wanted it boxed up. I told her no as we did not like it and it was not even the right pizza. We then asked where the women was who said she would take care of it. So our waitress left to fix it then came back with all this attitude that it was our fault. At this point I'm done with this place and will never go back. I tried to have a conversation but she got defensive and took an attitude with me and my girlfriend, going out of her way to attack my girlfriend. I finally just take the bill from her, cross out the tip and pay the bill so I could get the hell out of there. A few days later the bill hits my credit card and a nice tip has been added, now I'm really done with this place as I did not authorize the charges at all. Our bill with a pizza we did not eat, and some drinks (I had one Jack and coke that was not great) was $48, my credit card bill came and it was $78. Even if they had added a 20% tip that would have only been 57.60 not $78. (If I could add screenshots to this review of my bills I would) I called my credit card company and they have taken care of it and credited the money back but clearly I will never be retuning again. This place has no SOP on handling customer complaints clearly and that makes me believe they lack consistency across the board. If you are going here good luck.

Stopped by for lunch. Friendly but slow service and it was very warm inside which was uncomfortable. Ordered the veal parm sub. Waited about 20 minures to get it. It was good but not worth the wait.

I was fortunate enough to meet the owner this afternoon at another locally owned business. He mentioned his place and mentioned the freshness of the preparation and ingredients. Naturally I had to give it a try. When I walked in this evening, I was greeted with a very clean, very well executed dining room and bar. I ordered a salad and pasta to go, and I had a beverage at the bar while I waited. The bar is top notch, with granite countertops flatscreen TVs viewable from every seat in the bar, and comfortable couches upfront. I will post again later once I eat the food, but if first impressions remain, this is a must do again. On game day they have a $10 all-you-can-eat buffet that is a must do. Here is to a local business doing it right, and winning!

Great place for mediocre pizza! Icing on the cake was one of the girls digging her hand in the mozzarella cheese bin and eating it then going back in for more then touching the cash register then going back for more cheese then helping put it on a pizza! WTF!!!??? Ridiculous last time I eat there.

Worst service ever, the owner needs to train girls before they start working, food was great but sorry, service was terrible.

Some of the GREATEST meatballs I have ever had! I travel around the country for a living and I will rate this place as the top 3 best meatballs on the east coast. Outside of the great food, the management and staff are amazing. I highly recommend Fia's and the attached bar On The Rocks.

We love fias delivery for those nights that we don't want to cook but it is always great to know that we can go in, sit down and still have great service. The pizza is hot and fresh and the beer is cold but best of all it's still reasonably priced. Fias has definitely become a staple in our restaurant rotation

Came to town for a short vacation... So glad we found this place. First came for the paleo dishes (they were awesome!! Thank you), this time brought a friend and it did not disappoint... Wings were great, nice and crispy, not greasy, cheese bread was good ( I really liked the red sauce)... Had the eggplant and it was delicious... And the drinks (starburst) were phenomenal... Had to order the shrimp and eggplant lasagna to go... Great place and great service!!!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
