Came here today for the first time since we opened a workshop a few blocks down. Sampled the soup and HAD to get the clam chowder.. AMAZING!!! Had some chicken thigh sandwiches and they were great! Place closes at 2:30 so get there early but I wish there was a place like this by my house downtown! Awesome customer service too!
Came here for the first time on 11-13-14. The people here are very friendly and helpful, the food is really good and you have to try the soups WOW. I didn't know they close at 2:30 so I got there at 2:20, still had an amazing service and wasn't rushed out.
I order from this place all the time, as it's right down the street from where I work now. This family owned restaurant has a super friendly and professional staff; even their main delivery guy goes out of his way to be friendly and ask you how your day is going when he drops the food off. I've ordered sandwiches, soups, and salads from this place and never have I been disappointed. Everything is fresh, as if you had made it yourself at home, and if you order something hot...you'll have it delivered hot. I also like the fact that they will customize the order if you don't really like something or want to add something on. Really, just a wonderful little spot for lunch. It's not the best looking place inside, but you can tell how good it is by how many people are always eating there or waiting in line to pick up their orders.

It's a wee place next to Pay Day Loans and a Chevron station and typical of so many Cuban coffee shops. These small coffee restaurants never get reviewed and I don't know why because this one has better food than two chain Cuban restaurants I went to once upon a time. I had a Cuban sandwich that was better than the Versailles version, really tastey ropa viejo, cortadito, and wonderful Puff pastry, which is not the same as phyllo pastry, although puff pastry can be substituted for phyllo in some applications. Phyllo dough is made with flour, water, and fat and is stretched to size rather than rolled. Usually when using phyllo dough, a small amount of oil or melted fat (usually butter) is brushed on one layer of phyllo dough and is topped with another layer. This process can be repeated as many times as desired. When it bakes, it becomes crispy but, since it contains somewhat less water, does not expand to the same degree as puff pastry does. I was so surprised to find a nice Puff pastry filled with a yummy guava confection. It made my day and I shall begin to investigate more of thses tiny restaurants. I do biz in Medley and will certainly return here for their flaky, puffy, phyllo deserts.

I love this place! There are very few good places to eat in this area and this restaurant never disappoints. It is simple, but always fresh!
Keith (I believe is his name) rudest person in the world. Not going back.... not worth it! Winn Dixie products are 100% better...!
Of the 8 times I have ordered a turkey cheese tomato mayo sandwhich, they have gotten it wrong 8 times out of ten... Either no mayo... No cheese or no tomato..including my order today 7/27/15. Why bother me asking me what I want if you are just going to send what you feel like anyways. If one place that delivers food opens in the 4 new buildings popping up in this general area, the captain may go down with his ship.....

This nondescript Medley hole-in-the-wall has apparently been around for decades! My boss reminisces wandering around in the immediate aftermath of Andrew, looking for anything that was open, and walking out with a cold cup of coffee. It's nothing spectacular, by a long shot. Just another run-down Cuban restaurant in Miami. But what's nice is the really cheap lunch special - Chicken, rice & beans, sweet plantains, and a soda for $5. Would I go again? Yes. It's really close to work and really cheap. But I definitely wouldn't make this place a destination... not with so many other places around.

Considering the area, this place is decent. Personally I'll take Cafe Lagoon (which you won't find on Yelp) down the street, but this isn't a review about them it's about Zazy. The food is alriiiiiight, it's fairly priced and you'll get a pan con bistec the size of your arm here. Will it be the best one you've ever had? No, but then again this is Medley we're talking about. Service is also moderately decent, but this factor doesn't make or break Zazy. All the fruit shakes are made with fresh fruits and you'll be happy to know their pastelito, croquetas and empanadas are made every morning. Overall a solid 3 stars. They could improve, but they won't so who cares? Just make sure my colada has a lotta head and it's blacker than my heart.

I've ordered takeout breakfast here on numerous occasions and it's very consistent. For 3.50 you get 2 eggs, cuban toast (tostada), choice of hash browns or french fries. Yes, french fries. I thought that was weird but ordered them anyway. Let me just say that they're mediocre. But once they're sitting next to your scrambled eggs they're not a bad side. The eggs are made to order and they taste great scrambled with ham. You walk in and out with a full breakfast and a cafe con leche for less than 5 bucks and in less than 10 minutes. I've also heard they deliver. Just make sure you at least know how to order in Spanish. Otherwise, be prepared to point at images on a menu.
Typical Cuban cafe. Breakfast was good, the waitress was not too good, but its ok because the food was cheap and I enjoyed it.
This is a decent Cuban eatery where I go for lunch once in a while. Try to stick to the specials of the day, I try to go on a Tuesday and grab their vaca frita. I have tried other dishes such as picadillo, the quality is consistent. I also want to try their breakfast, I just do not live close to the restaurant but I will do that some time on my way to some place. I have looked at the menu and it does look interesting.
