there food is very good, prices are nice,it's a very good home feeling. I highly recommend it.
Great Southern food, great Southern hospitality. Buffet is always delicious with several options of meat, fish, and chicken. Great sides and desserts. Is packed at lunch time but I am always seated within a couple of minutes. Best deal in town.
Went here for the lunch buffet and wasn't terribly impressed. The best thing we had were the deserts and the chicken. The veggies all looked like they were from the can, the salad was just the white parts of an iceberg head, the hush puppies were even kind of dry. Overall not terribly impressive on the food front. The staff was responsive and friendly though!

No frills small town cafe in the heart of quaint Marianna, FL. All their salad dressings are home-made as are their desserts. I had the Friday special, which is a reuben sandwich with a side salad. It was great, and for the price of $5 and some change, you can't beat it. The service was great, as was the location. The restaurant is a little bit run down and could use a fresh coat of paint as well as some artwork on the walls, but don't let the indoor appearance fool you: the food is great and it's well worth visiting--especially for the price.
Good food good prices. Always could use more wait staff. Hometown feel always busy. Depends on time of day how long you will wait to be fed. Always good food always good prices. Wish there was more people to run the place everyone in a rush and over worked. I would highly recommend this place just be prepared to wait a while for your food.
I started eating here almost 20 years when I was in college. I loved it then and I still love it now!

The best Drive In in town! ....the only drive in ...in this town. LOL Good Burgers...And Awesome Coney Dogs! I don't care for their ice cream ...it is mushy in texture and tastes like fat free yogurt. Ughh...how likes that stuff anyway? LOL The staff ...or most of them...LOL...come to your car in roller skates! It is fun...good music and a nice break from regular old fast food.

This spot makes excellent tasitng pizza for the price. Hungry Howies makes delicious pizza, salads and cheeze sticks. My only beef with Hungry Howies is that they are very stingy with the tomatoes on my salad. Even when I ask for extra tomatoes, I get two instead of 1. Please stop being stingy with the tomatos!!! Aside form the tomato problem, I love Hungry Howies and will keep coming back. Their cheese sticks are super delicious with ranch dressing. Recommended.

Stopped at 930 and decided to try this place thanks to the reviews and walked up to place. A real family run place and I enjoy seeing that. Made all the food fresh for us, large portions , egg rolls delish. All the standard options we got sweet n sour and broccoli chicken, if we are ever in the area again we will stop by.
Not the best Chinese we ever had. The shrimp roll was almost entirely cabbage. I asked the person who took the order if this was a shrimp roll and he assured me it was. Then he told me they put two shrimp in. One on each end. They were actually the teeny teeny dried shrimp when I found them. No flavor other than cabbage whatsoever. The shrimp chow mein had about six salad size shrimp in it. Again, almost all cabbage. The pork fried rice had maybe four tiny pieces of pork, but the flavor of the rice was very good. On a positive note, the family running the restaurant was very nice and quite friendly.
The egg drop soup is brimming with actual eggs and quite fresh, the problem is that the broth is terrible. The shrimp with lobster sauce is much better and overall the flavor was pretty good.

Excellent food I recommend the fajita mix .lots of beef, chicken and shrimp. And the cheese dip is awesome. And it's cheap. My wife and I can eat a full meal with desert plus a tip for under 25 bucks . The address that Yelp is showing for this restaurant is incorrect
Service was really good. Food not so good. They only time I would recommend this place is if you are traveling through and in a hurry/craving Mexican food that it a little bit more authentic than Taco Bell. Lunch specials are cheap too so that's a plus!
The lovely lady that greeted, seated and rang us up was the only thing exceptional about this place. The fajitas were bland, the cheese dip was runny and the wait service was like a vanishing act, even though there were only 2 other couples in the restaurant.

Driving from Panama City Beach on our way back to Atlanta we stopped to grab some food. We were going to grab fast food, but then saw PO Folks. It was a good decision. The staff was a bit slow on greeting and seating, but other than that it was a good experience. Service was good. They were out of a few items on the menu, but the waitress quickly offered other options. Food came out fast. Food was delicious.
Best fried okra I've ever had. Same for the chicken livers and chicken and dumplings.
I absolutely was NOT expecting to give this establishment 5 stars. Seriously. They happen to be located next to the worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying up all night in...(I can't say sleep, as the bed was so awful, I never actually fell asleep) The first visit, we just got our oldest strawberry shortcake to go, she loved it. The next day for lunch I went with the family. Mark got the chicken and dumplings. He said they tasted like someone followed my own recipe, and folks... I make a tasty dumplin' My oldest had the whitefish, which was basically fish and chips. The fish was melt in your mouth tender, with a perfect batter crust that managed to taste both decadent and not at all greasy. It came with two sides, she chose cole slaw (excellent and well seasoned) and baked apples (tender and not mushy, with lovely pumpkin pie spices). I chose the Kuntry Steak (yes... that's how they spell it), mashed potatoes and a corn on the cob...which my youngest gave a big thumbs up, I don't think she left a single kernel. I loved it all with the exception of the mashed potatoes. But, I had both Mark and Luna try it and they loved them... so I guess I just like chunkier potatoes. But here is where the rubber hits the road. BISCUITS. Oh man... They were tall, golden, piping hot and pure perfection. The outer crumb possessed an almost pastry-like flakiness, the inside was a cloud of warm goodness. I rarely expect much anymore from a biscuit. Usually, they taste slightly stale, full of artificial butter and way too much leavening agent. But not so these. I took a picture... you probably shouldn't look at it... then you'll want to get stranded there like we did when our car caught on fire traveling back home from Houston, TX.

Good food, friendly service. We stopped on our way to NOLA and happened upon firehouse. Very clean, food was very tasty. Ordered the large combo to share with the wife and they split it up for us on two trays without us asking! Nice job!
God bless Firehouse. I've been to several different locations, and the one in Marianna didn't fail to disappoint. It's just like your typical Firehouse Subs. Food was great, staff was friendly, and the place was clean. Go enjoy.

A nice family restaurant to eat at on Sunday when most restaurants in the area are closed. Owner is on-site and takes pride in serving well-prepared, tasty food to her diners. The fried chicken and chicken-fried steak are wonderful. Service staff is attentive, friendly and efficient, even when the dining area is full, which is typical on Sundays.
Good home cookin'. Fine fried chicken. Clean well kept buffet and a friendly wait staff. Priced right at 8.95. Has an over 60 senior discount. Pay before you eat during lunch buffet. Not bad...not bad at all.
We came across this, as we were driving through Marianna at lunchtime. The buffet was very reasonable ($10.95) and very well stocked, with some delicious fried chicken and every other food to fit your Southern food cravings. You definitely won't come here for health food, but the service was prompt, polite, and frequent, and you will most definitely leave this restaurant stuffed.
