The food here shines!! I came with a big group for a work reunion lunch and we sat outside in the sun and it was just rejuvenating food which didn't leave me with a post-lunch 2pm food coma hangover. All of us were new to this place and everyone was talking about coming back again for another work lunch and/or with their family at another time. The comparison with Chipotle is also very apt, because it's similar operationally and the food is prepared fresh. I love that when I bit into the falafel, I could see proof of it being freshly made as it had whole chickpeas. I got the pita and they were very accommodating and I didn't need to decide but instead got half chickpea and half chicken. The fries were also great with excellent feta sprinkled on top, but the falafel was indeed too salty for me, but since that's a personal taste palate preference, it's still 5 stars from me. Also, the best sweet tea, and it's taken the top spot in my rankings (behind Chipotle and Publix). I mixed the sweet black tea with a bit of the hibiscus tea and it rocked (I didn't like the Mango one however, but again that's a personal taste preference and beside everything else was so good!) will try and come here again and will definitely recommend it to family and local friends.

I went here for the first time today and I was really impressed! I met a friend here and found out that she comes at least once a week. Must be tasty huh? We met at 12:30 and I was worried about their being a wait. There were a lot of people there but they did a great job of getting everyone through the line quickly. The restaurant is where Qdoba used to be and they pretty much kept the same set up. You go through a line, pick what you want, and they put it together for you. The longest part of the whole process is figuring out what you want. When I saw all the options on the board I picked up a menu and looked over it before my friend showed up. I suggest doing that on your first visit so that you don't feel overwhelmed and/or hold up the line. I decided to go with the pita - filled with gyro meat, tzatziki spread, tomato & cucumber salad, bean salad, and feta. It was SO yummy and so filling! I only got water so the total came to $7.50 which I was totally fine with. It was more than enough to fill me up! For a fast food/quick service restaurant I think this place is pretty good. I've read that a lot of people found the food rich/heavy, but with so many options I think it would be easy to go either way. Since I filled my pita with lots of veggies I think it helped a lot.

One of my new favorite restaurants! Generous portions, satisfying food that won't make you feel guilty! The food is fast, simple, and easy. My only complaint is that I discovered this place the day before I leave Maitland to go back to college. I only hope they'll open a second location in Deland!

This place has so many 4 and 5 star reviews I feel bad for rating just 3. especially because the staff was great, and friendly, and the place was so clean. in fact we got there at 8:30 so they were closing. these guys clean and wipe down everything there. definitely instills confidence. This is literally subway for gyros. you start at one end and create your gyro as you go and end up on the other end where you pay.. so if I like it so much why just 3 stars. well I guess I'm comparing it to other Greek places I've been to. the gyro here just didn't taste as good.. the place is good.. and if you happen to be driving by then I'd say stop in. I'd even stop in again if I happen to be passing it. But its just not a place I'd drive out of my way for. I will go to subway because its a mile from my house (which BTW I'd only rate them 3 too). this place is about 5 or 6 miles. I just dont see myself making a 12 mile round trip to come here.. if I thought omg this food is amazing need another trip Here tomorrow then the rating would definitely be higher. They have out side seating too. so for a clean restaurant, great staff, and good food. I'd say stop in if you're in the area. I will definitely come again if I'm hungry and near by.

There is nothing bad to say about Olea Mezze Grill. I just moved to the area and have been trying the restaurants nearby. Olea is much better than pita pit and I love their choice of toppings. The falafel was some of the best I've had and they get their baklava from Hellas bakery in Tarpon Springs, AKA the best Greek food outside of Greece. Definitely a great place to grab a quick meal!

  • Chris A.

Very pleased with this fast casual greek joint, gyro was fantastic with pickled red onion, zesty hummus and tzatziki. Greek Fries were also very good, nice selection of brewed teas, clean and friendly staff. Will definitely be back as I love Greek but usually shy away from table service Greek.

Fantastic food, all delicious and fresh! Plus very friendly staff! I love this place!

Big fan! You can order a bowl, pita or salad. My husband and I went with the pita and gyro meat. I like how they apply the taztziki to the bread so it is a little easier to eat. All the veggies were fresh. The feta and olives were not too salty. Next time I want to try the meatballs. You can have a beer or hard cider s(and I think they have wine). Very clean inside and they have a few tables outside. Good spot for lunch.

We live nearby and go here often. Before I even comment about the food I must say that the people working there are amazing. So friendly and helpful. And the food - some of the best Greek we've had in Orlando. Lots of choices. Great variety. Fresh taste.

  • Kat W.

I have to say that I was surprised and impressed with how good the food was, especially for the price. I got a cous-cous bowl with gyro meat and plenty of vegetable toppings, plus a beer for under $10. We also got some pita chips to share, and those were the best I've ever had - perfectly crispy and salty. We'll be going back next time we're in Maitland.

What a great family place! It isn't easy to find a place that satisfies the "distinctive" tastes of my family of four. A few of us love fresh, vibrant flavors while a few others have a palate that appreciates fare of a "simpler" variety...like nuggets and cheese powder. I had to bribe them to try a pita (don't judge my parenting, it worked). It only took one bite and they were hooked; We actually had to go back and get them a second pita. We spend a lot of time at the ice hockey rink down the road, and have found a great, and healthy, after-hockey meal. For those of you who share my love of vibrant flavors, you will not be disappointed either. The salads are huge, the spreads are amazing, and veggies taste like they came straight from the garden. Between the two of us, my husband and I tried much of the menu options and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back - it's a new family favorite!

My wife and I was wondering what was taking so long for this place to open. It definitely was worth the wait. We have eaten here and done a take out and both were outstanding. The staff was very friendly and even were happy. We have lived overseas and know that this food is authentic. You can't beat the taste, price, and value of their pita sandwiches. The place was spotless.

This is what has been missing from my lunch life - great Greek on the go! I tried Olea the other night and I was hooked from the first bite of harrisa-tzatziki-olive healthy goodness. I love Mediterranean food whether its gyro/shwarma/donner kebab (you pick your favorite name for the swirling meat on a stick) and all the delicious sauces and side items that come with it but getting it an accessible, comfortable, and efficient place is hard to do anywhere much less in Orlando. This is not the greasy late night kebab joint or the tchotchke ridden family Greek Taverna that, though delicious, takes forever. Olea fills a gaping whole in my culinary experience and I hope this goes franchise so I can get one closer to my home on the West side of town. For now, this is going to be my "go to" for work lunches! I can't get over how delicious and healthy it was! The options were abundant and I was amazed that they make their hummus and other sauces on site and you can tell. HIGHLY recommend you go check it out for a satisfying casual lunch or dinner at a very reasonable price!

    (5)
  • King L.

Pleasantly surprised. Tons of fresh ingredients and the kicker is they actually give you enough meat to the point where you actually can taste and see the meat amongst the many other ingredients. I generally like some form of chips or something on the side to complete the meal That was my only complaint, it's the main item and out. Gyro tasted real good and I will be back.

  • Donna S.

Fast and friendly service, excellent food! I am a regular and come here at least once a week. Food is consistently good and fresh. The prices are reasonable and they offer a lot of variety. You can create whatever you want and can even mix meats. It is also pretty vegan friendly!

  • Holly F.

My work friends hit this place up for lunch and we're not disappointed. We first experienced Olea Mezze Grill (OMG) when another coworker brought back her meal. We were drooling, and decided we had to have some for ourselves. Service was fast and polite. The food, well let's just say we all took turns saying "OMG" because it was so good! I had the Gyro salad and ate every bite! A friend had the fries and they looked well seasoned and topped with feta cheese. Amazing. Olea Grill is now most definitely on our list of places we will visit weekly, if not more often.

We were looking for a lighter inexpensive meal and boy am I pleased! Prior review stating that it is a Mediterranean Chipotle was accurate. Staff was friendly and helpful while we decided what we wanted. All the food was very fresh and tasty. I chose the bowl with pita on the side, falafel and great meat balls, veggies, plus some yummy sauces. It is hard to see from the street. Employee said they have been there two years. I have been to Francesco three times and never saw it! We will definitely be back.

  • Rachel L.

The food is always fresh, tasty and beautiful presentation of entrees. Ordering is an easy 3-step system, down the counter line, and you can see all the ingredients through the glass barrier. Very convenient! *Note when turning into the Plaza.. You can only enter from the turn in by the Shell gas station.

  • Armando G.

My gf and I came in for our first visit and we were definitely pleased with the food. The first staff member we encountered described it as a Greek version of Chipotle; I'd have to say she was spot on with her assessment. Like Chipotle, you choose your base and decide which protein/fillings you'd like to incorporate. We each ordered a bowl of couscous as our base and chose sliced gyro meat as our protein. (The other proteins were falafel, grilled chicken and Greek meatballs) After you choose your protein, you have the choice to add a spoonful of up to two of their spreads as well as a variety of veggie-toppings. All of the toppings looked fresh, bright and flavorful. A few of the toppings we chose were kalamata olives, cucumbers, pickled onions, chick peas and of course feta cheese. We upgraded our bowls to a combo which added a drink and a side of their house-made pita chips. The pita chips were very crispy and perfect for filling into your bowl. The service was mostly friendly, but the cashier seemed to just be going through the motions, definitely not as upbeat as the two other staff members. We are usually not in the area, but at about $24 I'm sure we'll be back for a tasty and healthy meal.

  • Patricia R.

Now.. I have to be honest, so far I've only gotten orders of the falafel with a side of the tzatziki sauce on two different dates. I went there because a coworkers recommended it. The parking is an odd thing.. if you take a wrong turn you'll go in weird way to get out. I digress, the falafels were heated up when I ordered both times because they didn't have enough out to complete my order. They are so tasty and big! You only receive 6 but for $3.50, if I recall correctly, it's decent. The tzatziki sauce, however, is an additional $2 (which I find a bit pricey, just being honest) and who wants to eat falafels with it? I plan to go back and try out the other meals in the future.

My first time at Olea Mezze Grill and I left full and satisfied! It's great to have a fast casual Mediterranean option in town. I like the Chipotle vibes where I can completely customize my own bowl, pita, and salad. The ingredients were fresh and the spreads were great. The feta and Harissa spreads were especially good. I think there could be improvements with their falafel. I have such love for Hubbly Bubbly falafel, I feel nothing can compare. This was the only item in my bowl that didn't feel as fresh as the rest. Overall, it's a great spot for fresh, fast, customizable food. It's decently priced and a great option for lunch.

  • Danielle S.

This place is fast and fresh, a combination that isn't easy to find. As other reviews commented, the process is similar to Chipotle. The service is friendly and helpful. I like the option to have couscous instead of pita. I had a couscous bowl with some lettuce, falafel, garlic hummus, spicy Harissa(which could be spicier) cucumber, tomato, and olives! I also had a side of Greek vinaigrette. The bowl was packed with flavor and filling but not heavy. It's a great lunch place for those fortunate enough to be close!

  • Matt K.

What can I say that hasn't already been touched on? It absolutely IS the "Chipotle for Greek Food" for sure. You build your meal stage by stage with fresh ingredients. The service is outstanding, the food is incredible, and the tea is to die for. The location is nestled a little out of the way but if you can find it definitely make sure to stop by!

  • Todd S.

The "chipotle" of Mediterranean restaurants. I love this place!! Piece together a wrap, bowl, or salad based on your favorite ingredients - and for cheap! Try the various toppings (tzatziki, hummus, harissa) and sauces too (sriracha dill is my fav!) and you won't be disappointed. Everyone I take here loves the place. The ONLY fault I have with this place is the parking. They have some parking spot right outside the main door that are WAY too small. Like they tried to fit 8 spots where there should be 7. It makes it very tricky to get in and out of your car, let alone the parking spots. But once you're inside, the food is great, and the service is friendly.

  • Todd L.

This place is great! And for the price for what you're getting: awesome! A build your own Mediterranean meal place with fresh and tasty sauces, proteins, and vegetables. The sauces are the forté in my book. Very rich flavors that are clearly done with love. I'm a fan.

Stopped in to try a new place. Has a Chipotle concept for Greek. I tried a couscous bowl with falafel. It was really good and fresh. Convenient to the office and friendly staff

If you want fresh, this is your place. Just brought the wife over for lunch and she said "I like this better than Chipotle." This is my 6th time and every time it seems to get better...food here is awesome!!!

  • Larry C.

My favorite place to visit when it comes to my greek cravings! This is the Chipotle of Mediterranean Cuisine served fast !! Their salad bowls and peta sandwiches are top notch along with their spreads and ingredients wow. Plus for my Vegan friends you will die and go to heaven with their unique Falafel. TRUST TRUST TRUST you will thank me later.

Greek chipotle. Simple menu, slim choices, and great services. Love the the layout and the simple idea for Greek food. Why not! Try the Greek frappe. Not as sweet as a Starbucks but just as good.

  • Gabe M.

Wow! Incredible flavors...so fresh. I am a die-hard Chipotle fan...and I feel 200% comfortable calling this the Greek equivalent to Chipotle. They opened in January 2014, have very simple menu options to create your own pita, bowl or salad. Plenty of combinations and toppings are going to be very fun to explore! I ordered a bowl with Jasmine rice, garlic hummus, feta, and tzatziki sauces...grilled chicken, shredded lettuce. From the first bite I knew they got their food right. It's super fresh and very flavorful. I always start with simple basics when trying new places out. ;-) The service was very friendly, fast and efficient. 2 people told me about this place and I'm so glad they did. I can already tell in going to become a regular customer! Delicious.

Olea Mezze Grill is simply fantastic. If you're in the mood for a fast, healthy, filling meal, this is the place to go. Service was great. The line moves very fast, and the food is simply amazing. Not to mention, the prices are very fair for what you get. After trying it by myself, I think I've been back about 10 of the last 20 days. Best of all, my family loves it so we all go there now. I can't recommend Olea Mezze Grill enough.

    (5)
  • Brent W.

Yum! The only thing I hate is when my fork hits the bottom of the bowl. You MUST have one of their salads - everything is so fresh and in just the perfect proportions. The owners are sooooo friendly and appreciative - I almost never leave without being thanked for my business. Top-notch, perfect lunch place. We eat here so much...I'm sure we're paying the rent. To sum it all up...YUM!

  • Andrew K.

Such a great experience! I stopped in for lunch after reading the Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. I ordered a bowl with cous cous, tzatziki, spicy harissa (DELICIOUS), gyro, and all of the toppings. I also got a side of falafel and baklava for dessert. Individually the ingredients were incredibly fresh and came together to form a symphony in my mouth. I ended up being too full for the baklava and ate it later after my dinner, and, not surprisingly, it was awesome. And if you're an iced tea drinker, go crazy with all of the iced tea combinations. I can't wait to stop in again next time I'm in Florida.

Completely agree with previous reviews calling this the Greek Chipolte! Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The girl working was very helpful for a first time visitor and walked me through the ordering process and all the different options!

It's Greek Chipotle and it's simply delicous. Order the Greek fries. Don't even question it.

  • Nichole G.

This place is delicious! Think Chiptole but with Greek food. I got a bowl with couscous, gyro meat, roasted red pepper hummus, zesty feta spread (MUST GET), tzatziki sauce, cucumber, pickled red onions (get extra, they are amazing), crumbled feta and bean salad. It was delicious. I ate EVERY. LAST. BITE. definitely try this place out!

    (5)
  • Richard C.

This is the way a salad should be. Good quality fresh ingredients and neatly and efficiently served at a reasonable price. If you're in a salad or Greek mood, I would highly recommend. They also have a selection of good meat for protein in with the salad

  • Cassi B.

Since we were on this side of town, I decided to try something new. This place had such good reviews on Yelp that we decided to try it. All I can say is this place has AMAZING food! It is VERY fresh and everything is made to order. They also have takeout so you call ahead and pick up. I loved all of the options and the prices are well worth what you receive. We will definitely come here whenever we are on this side of town again!

    (5)
  • Todd S.

Delicious, assembled before your eyes and presented with warmth and enthusiasm. We don't even live here and we are probably going to stop by before we leave. We went simple Gyro style. The sauces we spot on and the harissa was spiced perfectly. Pitas were fresh steamed/warmed and the bean salad was tasty and perfectly balanced.

Fresh and tasty ingredients. Generous portions. Fast and friendly service. Clean (even sparse?) dining area. Easy to find and get into. We parked at Walgreens since we were coming from Horatio. Encourages wifi & community, per their mission; might welcome small meetings? Sadly, no Greek coffee: that would be an awesome addition to their menu.

    (4)
  • Danielle R.

This is on my way home, and so worthy of me stopping. Even my one year old eats his whole meal, and that is hard to get these days! Definitely a top choice in my house right now for dinner nearby.

I LOVE how fresh the salad ingredients are at Olea! There are times where I will forgo the meat options and just stick with their veggies. Lettuce mix and all their salad fix-ins? Yes please! At first I thought Olea would be another gyro place, but they actually give customers something different to try that's out of the norm. Examples are the different dips that you can add to your base. One dip that's a standout for me is the spicy harissa. It's so delicious! Another different option is offering Greek meatballs as a protein. Everybody loves meatballs, woo! All the employees that I have encountered here are extremely friendly and more than willing to explain their menu. I took a coworker here and the employees eagerly gave her the rundown. Besides the friendly service, I really feel you get a great value with the amount of food that you receive, especially with the bowls. These bowls can definitely be split into 2 meals! Since you pick and choose what goes into your pita, bowl, or salad; you definitely know what components are being added to your meal. All the proteins are seasoned and quite tasty. FYI, the falafel balls are flavorful, but soggy. It's really out of the usual falafel norm. Side note, get the pita chips to go with a dip. They are so so so addictive!

This is the first location of what I expect to be the beginning of many more. The owners are two really hardworking guys who quit their corporate jobs to open this place. Louie I see the most, and he is so great and has made this place so organized. The line can have 20 guests waiting in front of you and you will still get your food in five minutes. Perfect for a lunch time when you're in a rush. The food is fresh and the wall is labeled for people who are health conscious. The food is good every time. I have been here over 20 times. Check it out! You will go back!

Place rocks. Location is a pain but not there fault, been going since they opened and not one complaint. Line does get long so if you can avoid peak times it might be smart!

  • Ryan L.

Came for the food not the commentary. As someone who self describes as picky, it takes a lot for me to come out of my comfort zone and try newer things. Came in as my girlfriend raves over this establishment. As I went through the line I'm sure my pickiness was apparent to the employee creating my bowl as they proceeded to insult my particular bland tastes. While this isn't a completely irregular phenomena for me the person in question would not let up the entirety of the three or so minutes I waited in the line. I won't comment on the quality of the food as I would chalk it up as being simply not for me however making rude and disparaging comments is simply unacceptable. Only my desire to not create a scene kept me from using choicer language instead of being respectable and laughing it off.

My new favorite lunch spot! We visit Olea 2-3 times a week, as we work just a mile down the road. You can't beat the quality, quantity and price . It really is the chipotle of Mediterranean food but wayyyyy wayyyyy better. The employees consistently hold smiling faces and the food never fails us. As long as Olea exists, I will never eat at another Mediterranean restaurant in this area!

When Olea first opened we were dazzled... a change from the typical fare and seemingly a healthier choice! The last few times I've gone I've noticed a few things that annoyed me: Prices went up... but they cut your spreads down to 2. Prices went up... and they seem to be skimping a bit on the protein. Still a decent price for a healthier meal in Maitland, though. But if the are chasing revenue by raising prices and cutting standards... they may end up losing customers.

  • Longwood R.

It gets two stars for being a needed variation from all of the other fast casual chain options. I wish I could give it more stars, but unfortunately the poor service and the overt skimping as they build your creation leaves you feeling unwelcome. During our most recent visit, the server was sternly corrected by a manager as she offered us probably one too many spreads for our meal... something that maybe should of been done in private. She was also confused and started to mix our order with the patrons behind us...maybe finish one customer before starting with another. Because of the skimping of ingredients, my rice bowl and my wife's pita, were both quite dry. The few chicken pieces in the serving had no taste to them and we actually added some siricha sauce (the only available condiment) to give give it some moisture and taste. So after two visits, it's off the list for us. Maybe some of the other fast casual Greek places we've heard about will enter the market here soon.

  • Alina C.

This has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat and made it into our lunch rotation from the first time. It is in the back of a few buildings so you have to look for it but it's worth it! Yes it's is a pick and build your own meal kind of place but the choices are plentiful and fresh. You can have salad or rice or pita sandwich and it's great for all kinds of diets and dietary restrictions. The Greek fries are a yummy side with a lots of flavor and feta cheese. The service is friendly and fast. A definite must try!

  • Teresa J.

Positive things to say. Food looks fresh and healthy but limited options. They have vegetarian vegan dairy free soy free but Not Gluten Free or Nut free!!! Odd. The decor looks like they havent finished renovating. It needs atmosphere badly. The manager has a slight rude additude. Not very friendly. The other worker Michael was very sweet and helpful though.

  • Cecille R.

I had high hopes for this place because I love Mediterranean food. But it just didn't deliver for me. I think it had a lot to do with what I ordered. I wasn't loving it. We walked in and noticed that the basic layout of former restaurant, Qdoba, was still the same. And that the ordering process was also the same- similar to the format of Chipotle/Qdoba/Italio. You pick whether you'd like the pita, rice or couscous bowl , or salad. I decided to go with the rice bowl. I had the choice of up to 3 spreads so I picked tzatziki, garlic hummus and eggplant/red pepper. For my protein, I went with the falafel . Then I had my choice of as many toppings as I wanted. My problem was that I went a little hog wild with the pickled red onions, cucumbers, Mediterranean bean salad and kalamata olives. I also ordered the grape leaf olives because of course my eyes were bigger than my stomach. The concoction I put together was way too heavy and overwhelming with all the flavors. I have to agree with Yelper Kathy D. It was hard to get through my meal. Just way too rich. I am used to falafel that is crispy and the falafel here was underwhelming and bland. On the menu it states that it is made fresh daily. But I'm questioning whether these are store bought. They were rather soft and didn't taste fresh to me. The grape leaves were decent and could've easily been eaten as a meal but a little unappetizing that they are sitting in plastic containers next to the register. Shouldn't they be kept refrigerated? On the bright side, the restaurant is very clean and the employees are friendly. They have several choices of iced tea which I liked. Oh and the music playing was a mix of 80s and 90s which was a crowd pleaser. I don't think I would go out of my way to come back when I've had tastier food at rival restaurants. But if I did come back, I would maybe stick with the traditional pita and go with the chicken. If they can't get that right then I give up...

I absolutely love this concept I come here several times a month. I always have a good salad. The place is clean and pretty I just love it! And I can get a beer come on kids are going to dinner

The food here is so fresh and delicious! This has quickly become one of my favorite and most frequented restaurants. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Nothing on the menu disappoints, and it is all very reasonably priced. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, anytime.

  • Kathy D.

I tried out the bowl with gyro meat and my choice of fixings and sauces. I love greek food, but everything all mixed together didn't really complement each other for some reason. Either that, I put the wrong stuff together. I also felt it ended up being really heavy, probably because I had it with rice and yogurt sauce and some other things all mixed in. Definitely will have to try a pita sandwich and stick with the basics to get a better experience.

First time customer who will be a future returning customer. I have my favorite go to Greek restaurant but it's not convenient for me. So when I found this restaurant on Yelp I was excited to try it. The restaurants style is set up just like Chipotle but a Greek version. You can't go wrong for a healthy lunch on the go here.

    (5)

Really fresh and authentic! The concept is very similar to a Chipotle where you order and select the ingredients you want. I had the bowl with the lamb and couscous - it was delicious. Will definitely come back!

Olea Mezze Grill is a delicious little Greek/Mediterranean quick service restaurant. It's similar to Chipotle, in that you choose if you want a bowl, a salad or a wrap, your meats, sauces, and toppings, and it is all put together in front of you. Currently, it's a one off restaurant, but I asked the gentleman helping me out yesterday if they were planning to expand and he told me that they're planning on opening more locations around Orlando. YAY!!! The first few times I went, the place was sadly not at all busy. I was usually going later in the evening though, so I suppose that might be a reason. Yesterday, when I went at lunch time, the place was packed!! I was really happy to see that; their food is good!! So, food! YUM!! They offer gyros, chicken, falafel or Greek meatballs as your meats to choose from, and you can put whichever into a salad, a rice or cous-cous bowl, or in a pita. I haven't had their meatballs yet, but I love their gyro and falafel. Their chicken is ok, but not particularly wonderful. They have difference sauces/spreads that you can put on as well. Their homemade hummus is great!! I love their garlic hummus. Each time I've been, their food is fresh and doesn't taste like its been sitting out under hot lamps just waiting for someone to come get it. They also have homemade ice teas that apparently rotate in flavors. I like to mix the cranberry hibiscus tea with their black tea or green tea. The restaurant itself is cute; everything is blue and white like you're on Santorini or another Greek island. The place always looks super clean, and there are both booth and regular tables available.

I would say, its ok. Its american version of the greek Gyro. I love greek food, and I dated a greek man in the past. He owns a greek restaurant so i do aware of, what the food should taste like. Olea don't deliver the authentic taste. Its ok but its more like " greek Subway" type. I wont be back. There plenty authentic Greek places in Orlando, to settle for less.

Before I read and reviews saying the same thing, I was also thinking this is like the Greek version of Chipotle. My mom and I were looking for a quick bite to eat since we only had an hour for lunch break, and we found this place on Yelp. Y'all didn't lead us astray, we really enjoyed our cous cous bowl lunches! We both god the Greek meatballs with the tsaziki, red pepper hummus, and feta spread. Yummm! Very filling and fresh with healthy options. We wish we had one in Tampa now! (Preferably near the USF area, please and thank you!) :)

I LOVE Mediterranean cuisine and am always looking for someplace close to my home with quality product and Olea Mezze Grill fits the bill (no rhyme intended)! I've seen this compared to a Chipotle or Qdoba and find the only thing they have in common is their way of ordering. You pick your style of dish (pita, rice/cous cous bowl or salad), pick a protein, and then let your imagination run wild with toppings and spreads. Today I tempted and teased my palate with a pita with tzatziki AND eggplant with roasted red pepper spread, gyro meat, diced cucumbers, sweet pickled onions and crumbled feta. It had it all; soft, juicy, spicy, creamy, salty and crunch going on. This was washed down with a cranberry hibiscus tea from their "tea bar". The difference between this and other restaurants with this "custom" style of ordering is that 1) the veggies were fresh. The diced cucumber had crunch, the tomatoes were not soggy or mush from sitting out, the meat (a beef lamb mixture) was not dried 2) the staff was incredibly friendly, asking if we had questions, offering suggestions, coming around to our table to see if anything else was needed and 3) the price for 2 well stuffed gyros, an order of grape leaves and 2 regular size drinks was $20, extremely affordable. They have large boards on the side of the wall when you enter that give dietary information for the items they serve: SF (Soy Free), DF (Dairy Free), etc). The only thing they don't seem to point out is Gluten Free. If you are looking for good food, with no frills no fuss, that is inexpensive, filling and fresh then I HIGHLY recommend Olea Mezze Grill. The menu is somewhat limited but it sticks to the old adage of "find one thing and do it well" and they have definitely done that. PROS: -Very good prices ($6.95 for a pita) -Endless possibilities for flavor as you may choose up to 3 of their spreads per item -Fresh meats and veggies -They STEAM their pita bread which makes its fluffy and chewy and just YUM -The Cranberry Hibiscus Ice Tea CONS: -Location. The restaurant is in a strip mall between a Bank and Walgreens on 17-92 in Maitland. If you don't know it is there you may drive by. -Parking. You have to turn in at the bank before the restaurant and go through the drive through area of the bank. If you try to go in at Walgreens there is no connected path. NEITHER of the CONs listed should prevent you from trying out this place though as it truly is a hidden gem.

Best new Greek restaurant! I had a pita wrap with gyro meat, tzatziki spread, and chickpea salad, hummus, pita chips and a Sierra Nevada for $12! Loved this restaurant I wish I lived closer to it but I will definitely. E back!

This is one of my favorite fast-casual concepts in Orlando. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and delicious, and the customization aspect is great for someone who tries to eat healthy. The restaurant is very clean (if you don't see someone wiping SOMETHING down while you're there, I would be surprised). There is an awesome variety of toppings and spreads that you put on your bowl/pita/sald and I haven't gotten something yet that I don't like. Everything is made fresh in house, and there is a completely open view of the kitchen behind the counter (much like Chipotle) so you can see exactly what's going on with your food. I can't wait until winter when I can get my meal to go, and walk down the block to Lake Lily to eat my food. I love this place!

My son told me about this place and I think I have found my new habit! Great quality food at a fair price. This is a Greek version of Chipotle . I love their breath brewed tea and I truly appreciate the great quality and variety they offer. Great place! I have a feeling this place will become the next chain.

My wife and I eat here whenever we are in the area. The gyro meat wasn't the best I've had, but the chicken is delicious. I get a salad with their pita crispies and it is very filling. We recommended that they get better kids drink options and they actually listened. They are also very friendly. Highly recommended if you like Greek food.

We enjoy getting the lamb pita and Greek fries. You walk through picking what you want be it a bowl, pita, or salad then you choose a protein, then you choose the toppings finally you choose the sauces you would like. The food is really good and it's different taste from others. I suggest you try it.

Olea is one of our favorite fast casual restaurants in the area. The food is healthy and the staff is always friendly. This is also a great place for families, as there are children's meals for about $4.00 and a choice of wraps or salads for the adults. There is easy parking at the rear (turn in to the lot at Ventris off 17-92), but we walk there from a nearby neighborhood. We have taken a group of friends here visiting from out of town and they loved it!

Good place for a quick and easy Mediterranean lunch. I have tried both the bowl and pita option. While they were both good, I found the bowl to be easier to eat. My pita kept dropping food all over me while I was eating. Perhaps next time I will ask them to add a little less protein so it closes better. For the bowl I have tried the cous cous. It was pretty decent. Both the chicken and meatballs were flavorful. Staff is friendly and helpful. It will be on my lunchtime rotation.

This is my new favorite lunch place! Think of it as the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. Fresh, healthy, and the perfect combination of flavors. I really hope they add more locations ASAP. Today I had cous cous, chicken, greens, pickled onions, chickpea salad, and the lemon dill dressing- it was awesome!

I'm bummed I waited so long to try this place. Love the fast casual approach to Greek food. Definitely a niche market, but it's awesome. Think Chipotle-style ordering. Love that they're not rigid in mixing proteins (want chicken and falafel, no problem!). Love that you can get a pita, bowl or salad. Love that there are so many options for toppings. The staff was also very nice and efficient, and the restaurant appeared to be super clean. Overall, a great spot for lunch or a quick dinner.

Great food! Awesome price. This is such a great concept and I wish I had been there sooner. I can't wait to see what other combinatons I come up with.

I dined there yesterday around noon time. The establishment was clean and very efficient. Food was Mediterranean with multiple options to chose from on their menu. Price was medium based on a comparable restaurant. I purchased the bowl with Greek meatballs and feta cheese with toppings of tomato and onions, more feta cheese, cous cous and a Greek dressing. They had five tea options including green tea, sweet raspberry tea, and three other varieties. Soft drinks are also available. I did not purchase the dessert of baklava but it did look very tasty.

It's like a chipotle for Greek food. The owners work the counter and give great recommendations about what's good to eat. My favorite is the lamb/chicken pita. But I've yet to find something I didn't like. Make sure you get the chips on the side. You'll be mad if someone begs to share

Nice and fresh food with chipotle like layout of food choices. You pick either rice or couscous , protein, sauces and toppings like kalamata olives, etc., and cheeses. Resist the temptation of loading everything in your plate and pick maybe 3 toppings your first visit and go from there. Staff is super nice and accommodating.

So yummy! I tried this place on a whim and what I found was super flavor! I got a salad with gyro meat and tons of toppings. I took the salad home and at first was skeptical because the bowl seemed light in weight. But boy was I wrong! I am so full now that I can't even get to the baklava. What a fun way to try different Mediterranean foods. Cant wait to go back and try the falafel.

Olea Messe Grill is an answer to a craving that has been living inside of me for quite some time. The concept of going down the line ordering and creating your own meal isn't anything new, but it's exciting to see exactly what is being offered right in front of you. My creation was a Cous-cous bowl with tzatziki, zesty feta, and spicy harissa topped with greek meatballs, tomato/cucumber salad, crumbled feta, and a bean salsa. It was fresh and appealed to my taste buds with the many different flavors, not easily accessible here in central Florida, mixing in my mouth. Others have commented on gaining access to the parking lot, but parking in the Walgreen's lot worked for us by just taking the sidewalk. It was not crowded at all and decor was bare. I imagine both a crowd and an ambiance will develop over time, but that is no excuse for not experiencing this wonderful little restaurant.

Absolutely love this place! Have been here every Saturday for lunch for a month and I'm obsessed. If it were in a prime location I feel Id wait forever for my food, but, it's hidden away to where I almost pass it even though I've been multiple times. Great food!!

I like the concept of Olea, but the quality of the food was only somewhat better than what you would expect from such a fast food format. You have options of pita, rice, salad, or couscous with whatever meat or falafel and toppings you would like. The service is prompt; the staff was friendly; the food was fresh; and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, Olea is a nice place to grab a quick lunch or dinner.

Delicious spreads, sauces, and toppings! Fresh and healthy. Had a falafel wrap and she ordered the couscous bowl. SO much food in the bowl, and each bite was delicious! Only thing is that the proteins are sitting in containers on the line for quickness/convenience since it is "fast casual" so my falafel wasn't crispy as if freshly fried. That aside, flavors were wonderful. Staff was super friendly and fast. Will definitely come back.

Hidden Gem! This place has one entrance that is a bit hard to spot but it's worth finding. I had a pita made to order with freshly made spreads, meat and toppings that was Yummy! My son even enjoyed some gyro meat. My husband had a bowl with cous-cous and fresh toppings of his choice. Very reasonably priced for such yummy fresh food. It is a new favorite of ours.

Great food, friendly staff, indoor/ outdoor seating, beer/ wine, iced tea bar. Great lunch spot! Their homemade pita chips are excellent with all of the spreads-- I had tzatiki, roasted red pepper hummus, feta dip, and garlic hummus. Lunch time it gets packed-- definitely recommend.
