Um, YUM! Hello beautiful sweet treat! This place is so refreshing. This place mainly serves Italian ice, hence the name, in a variety of flavors. There are about 15-20 ice flavors to choose from including fruity flavors to more unique flavors for ice like peanut butter. I always go for Mango or Cherry with the Vanilla soft serve. What I love best about Jeremiah's in particular is that they layer the ice and ice cream when you get the gelati. Other similar chains like Rita's (which I like too) does not layer but simply puts the custard right no top and you run out before you get to the end of your ice. Last time I was here and got a medium because the small looked so tiny! But the girl taking our order was right in saying that it is more than it looks like. We could have easily gotten a small each and been happy with the size. A medium, after you got through all the layers of goodness, was almost a bit much for us right after we had dinner elsewhere. We can't wait to come back! Worth the little drive up to Maitland for us. P.S. this is the kind of place with to interior for guests. So be prepared to eat in your car or at one of the picnic tables provided on the side. That also means no restroom for patrons so sneak over to the nearby McDonald's or Subway if nature calls.

I never used to go to Jeremiah's but once I got hooked it was easy to make up excuses to visit for a sweet, cold, treat. I like trying all the different flavors and prefer the Gelati which is the flavored ice mixed with a soft serve vanilla ice cream. They mix it just perfect and layer the flavors so that each scoop gives you full flavor. They give a lot for a medium sized treat at $3.50. I try not to think about it because $3.50 seems expensive but the flavors make up for it. I also like the staff. They have always been friendly and quick to serve. If you haven't gone yet, you should try it at least once.

I have been to Jeremiah's in the past and was pleased with a clean, crisp tasting lemon ice. I'm not sure if the products are made differently since they began expanding? Today I ordered the black cherry ice. I ate one spoon and was sick to my stomach. It was nothing more than a step above a 7-11 Slurpee. Such an off putting fake/artificial taste, I had to let others in the area know.

Stopped here on a super hot day wanting something to cool me down. Had a gelati with vanilla & strawberry. It was delicious! I thought the sizes were a tad small for the price. They have plenty of flavors to choose from, so definitely check it out.

As a last stop on my visit in Orlando, I had to drop by Jeremiah's. There was a shop right across the street from my college campus (brilliant location), and I used to go all the time. Now with 8 locations in Central Florida, there's one even closer to my old home. So, it was time to get my fix at their Maitland, FL location. Using fresh fruit and filtered water, they make their rotating 40 flavors fresh daily. The ices are churned in an ice cream machine, giving you a super smooth finished product. Lots of people know ices as those little cups you get as a kid from an ice cream truck, you know, the kind you work your muscles scraping just to get a little bit of sour shaved ice from that wooden pick of a spoon. Well, throw that image out of your head (at least for this post), because these ices are nothing like that. They also offer the ices as gelati, layering in their homemade soft serve vanilla ice cream. My usual was always their Cookies and Cream, but, I saw a new (to me) addition on the menu and wanted to switch it up. I went for the Cake Batter, and it was awesome. You get all the nostalgia of that cake-batter-in-the-bowl flavor in a cold, creamy, frosty treat. And because it's an ice, it's much lighter, allowing you to really enjoy it without feeling too full and heavy afterward.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and am glad I did. I tried a small scoop froggy frog (mint chocolate chip) mixed with swirl vanilla and chocolate and it was great. Other flavors in our group were piña colada and cookie. They use separate scoops for peanut butter, which was great to know, as we have a peanut allergy in our group.

This was the first time visiting this location. I've had Jeremiahs several times before, but was in the mood for some yummy Italian ice. The only downfall considering where its at is that their isn't a drive thru. I am fine with getting out of the car... its not being that I am lazy, its that the intersection is pretty busy at times and the line is right next to the road and when you have a little one it could be nerve-racking. The service was great! As soon as we placed our orders the items were out to us. I ordered the blueberry Italian ice, My son got the chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream, and my husband got the Italian ice/ice cream swirl. They all hit the spot! That night it was raining and we sat outside for as long as we could. The umbrellas are situated nicely that you didn't get wet unless you were on the very ends of the end tables. The prices are not bad either. For all 3 desserts it was about $9 in change. Will defiantly be returning soon!

When I die you can forget the morphine - just hook me up with an IV of Jeremiah's mango gelati. (Ok, that AND morphine...)

4 stars for providing some insanely good flavor combinations and service with a smile! __________________________________________________________________ I'm all about that pumpkin pie ice (seasonal fall flavor)! I love me some fall flavors and this dessert tastes just like pumpkin pie a la mode. Does it get any better? Probably not. I've also had their chocolate ice and I enjoyed it immensely! Creamy and rich, but still light enough to eat a whole cup-full (no judgies!). The layering that they do is amazing because they offer so many flavors that change all the time. Anyone who's been in Orlando for any amount of time knows how legendary the Jeremiah's line is, but this might be part of the allure. In this case, the proof is in the pudding~er~ice. Though you'll have to stand outside, the line moves relatively quickly and it's totally worth it. Pro-tip: Ask for an extra cup and dump half of your dessert in it to start. This helps avoid the inevitable drip mess that occurs since they fill the cup way above the top.

Try the piña colada alternated with vanilla. You won't be disappointed. (Be prepared to stand in line ..because the word is on the street)

Yes yes yes. So much yes. Order all the things. Order the Pumpkin during the Fall. Order anything else any other time because it's all fantastic. I always make it a point to treat myself to Jeremiah's whenever I'm in town. It's really just so good; you won't be disappointed. I don't think this location has a drive-thru, so be prepared to park and order at the window. Just like the other locations, there isn't any inside seating, so grab a seat at one of the picnic tables or take your treat to go. During peak times, the line can get pretty long, but don't worry because it goes really fast. Pro-tip: Sign up for the newsletter and they will send you LOTS of coupons for free small treats or BOGOs. Serious.

So yummy! The girls are always really nice and will let you sample flavors before deciding. I love that they mix it up with different flavors all the time. They also will let you layer several different flavors! Overall I really like this place!

I've been going to Jeremiah's since they opened their original location and I could walk from home! Over the years, the pricing has gone up and they have opened several new locations, but the quality is always consistent. This particular location doesn't have a drive up window, which bums me out (especially when it's raining or way hot out!), but they have 2-3 windows open at any given time so the line moves quickly. My personal favorites are sugar free tangerine, scoop froggy frog gelati with chocolate ice cream, or their pumpkin pie gelati with vanilla ice cream. My normal go-to staple is a simple chocolate ice cream cone with sprinkles though...I love soft serve!!

I LOVE JEREMIAHS. 5 / 5 STARS. Why isn't there one in Memphis? I was in Orlando for 4 days, and I came here every. single. day. for some Jeremiah's. I gave up some of the other dessert foodie locations that I researched before my vacay to have me some more Jeremiah's. Tip 1: you can TEST TRY the different flavours! The (super nice and helpful) Girls behind the counter bring you test samples in little baby cups. Tip 2: Get the SCOOP FROGGY FROG (Mint Chocolate Chip) Gelati. Seriously, it will change your life. I love it. Even my dessert buddy who isnt a big mint chocolate fan liked what they had to offer! The chocolate chips are just mini enough to provide baby crunches in your bites, and the mint chocolate flavour with the vanilla gelati is amazing!!!!! Tip 3: the medium cup may *seem* small upon first glance, but once you begin eating it, you'll realize that it really isn't as small as it seems! Ice cream lovers will definitely be satisfied with the medium cup. I underestimated the medium, but it proved to be a definitely satisfactory size for me (and I eat ice cream almost every day). They have little benches for you to sit down in on the side at this location, but you can also eat in your car. The girls are incredibly helpful and encouraging for you to tr new flavors. They're all young and cool and hip. They have a super cute tip jar. (Pic attached) Prices are also comparable to ice cream shops, so its really not expensive. I LOVE this place. I don't understand why there isn't one outside of Orlando. This is definitely worth whatever wait there is once you get there. Try the gelati with a flavour! It will rock your world. I love this place.

Absolutely loove this place and, unfortunately, I don't get here as much as I'd like to. I always go with the large sized scoop froggy frog gelati with vanilla soft serve in the scoop froggy frog flavor. Essentially mint chocolate chip layered with vanilla. Absofreaking DELICIOUS!! My thinking is that I will share with my husband but who am I kidding?!? I want it all for myself! :). There are a few picnic benches outside but they can get packed so we usually just get to go. Make sure to sign up for their emails to get the BOGO coupon in addition to any coupons they blast out!

the best italian ices and gelato that I have tried. This small place deserves its reputation!

Tasty swirls of gelato and Italian ice. Everything is so fresh. There is a line outside of this place even in winter, and now I know why! A nice treat.

This has to be the best Italian Ice I've had in a while!! Jeremiah's was first introduced to me back in 2010. Didn't take long to become addicted to the watermelon/ lemon together. Now this is the 3rd pumpkin pie gelati (pumpkin ice layered w/ vanilla ice cream) since Tuesday. I can not get enough of this stuff!! This establishment comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Go getcha some Jeremiah's!!

I can't go here and not sing the Jeremiah Bullfrog song (you're singing it now too right?) A frog is the mascot here. However, Jeremiah's is better known for serving up some great Italian Ice and gelatos here. Let's begin with the Scoop Froggy Frog. The Italian Ice flavor is mint chocolate chip and we mixed it as a gelati with their vanilla soft serve ice cream. This was heavenly. And by the way, the portions are enormous. We ordered a medium and it was definitely enough to split. However, we did order a second gelati- we got the Key West Tropical Italian Ice flavor mixed with vanilla soft serve. Key West Tropical is pineapple, mango, passion fruit and coconut. It was very refreshing on this hot Florida afternoon. What was great about this place is that there is always a line. However, the line moves very quickly and all the locations have outside tables to eat at (there is no inside) My only complaint (Jeremiah Ice- take heed)- there are no locations on the West side of Orlando!! And there seems to be a lack of healthier low sugar or dairy free options.

Love this place! My boys always ask to come here. They love the vanilla, cookies & cream, coconut & vanilla gelatos. The staff is always very welcoming and sweet:)

The Good: Friendly Efficient Tasty Unique Lots of flavor combinations Fun Fair pricing The Bad: Can have long lines Sugar-free options aren't very good No drive-thru

  • Richard N.

You can skip this place. I ordered an ice cream and it was more like an italian ice. The sad part was that they actually called it ice cream. Let's just take them at their word. If it was ice cream it was the worst ice cream I've had in years. If it was Italian Ice then it was simply mediocre. People in Orlando love this place. I think they need to go to NYC or Philly and experience the real deal.

The Snozzberries taste like Snozzberries!!! Seriously, there's something awesome to be said for how Jeremiah's Italian ice flavors taste exactly like what they say they are. P-nutty tastes just like peanut butter. The sea salt caramel flavor is amazing. A few more favorites of mine are Horchata, Cherry and Cookies and cream. Order a Gelati and choose a flavor of soft serve ice cream (chocolate or vanilla) and have it layered like a parfait with one or more flavors of ice. This location is always steady with business. It's the closest one to Altamonte but not for long as they're getting ready to open a new location nearby. Bring the kids, the whole family, friends or a date. It's a good place for all.

Came in from Houston and cousins took us here. Mango was the bomb diggity! Would love to franchise this if possible! I recommend to try it

This place rocks..however the only caveat is that I wished it was open a wee bit later (closing time is at 10). The area tends to get packed fast and the parking can be a bit tricky trying to get in or out. The outdoor seating is convenient but can get very busy. I always get the Cookies n Cream gelato but I recently tried the PB gelato and that was simply awesome. Literally tastes like ooey gooey PB that is iced. This place is awesome...nothing else like it. If you have friends from out of town, bring them here!

  • Paolo R.

This place is great anytime. Try the soft serve without the ice for a change of pace. This place is quick, the portions are ridiculous and you can try flavors until you get diabetes. They rotate some flavors out but the menu stays the same most of the year.

The gelati. SO AWESOME. love the cookies and cream Italian ice with either vanilla or chocolate soft serve. The mango Italian ice is also amazing and refreshing. Sign up for their email list and get a bunch of sweet (literally and figuratively of course) deals such as BOGOs and a free birthday treat!!

Jeremiah's Italian Ice is my favorite little ice cream spot in Central Florida, why? There ice cream is just as good as everyone says and reviews about it, they have all kinds of ice cream including gelati witch is what I ordered ( Mango flavor) and it was delicious. The only complain I had was that the lines were very long but I also came here during the weekend but even so I have drove by here before and this place is still busy on the weekdays and has become a very popular spot ever sense it took over for the previous Ice cream shop that was here before. Many flavors to choose from and offer more then just gelati, next time I will try a different flavor but I was very satisfied with the Mango flavor gelati I had and the service was still good even though they had lines going in to the parking lot. If you never been here try this place out, located in Maitland off Horatio and 17-92.

I don't have much of a sweet tooth nor am I big fan of Italian ice, but WOW... This place is AMAZING. My friend recommended that I get a gelati, which is any flavor of Italian ice layered with soft-serve ice cream (chocolate or vanilla). So the gelati I ordered was the Mint Chocolate Chip Italian Ice, named "Scoop Froggy Frog", with Vanilla Soft Serve. They have such a huge selection of Italian Ice flavors ranging from Passion Fruit to Cake Batter. The girls working were very nice and patient with the samples. Cheap and delicious, can't ask for more than that.

Whats not to love about Jeremiah's?? Whether Italian Ice or Gelati, Scoop Froggy Frog, P-Nutty, Mango, or whatever other rotating flavor you love, you simply cannot go wrong here! In addition to their typical flavors, they also offer a variety of seasonal and special flavors including pumpkin pie and Sweet Child of Lime. The staff are always full of energy and helpful when trying to make the difficult choice of what flavor to get. If I had to get picky I would say that the lines can be long, as can be expected at such a great place, but they tend to move rather quick and I wish they had a drive-thru as some of their other locations. Otherwise this place is perfect for desert or to cool down on a hot day! Quick tip, definitely sign up for their email list as they constantly send out coupons and specials.

Perfect summer treat. Get the Gelati for sure! There's a reason why this place is an Orlando icon!

Whenever I get a sweet, cold craving Jeremiah's never ceases to fail me. Their ice cream is by far my favorite, it's soft and light. So it doesn't make you feel heavy or full, it's just right. They have many flavored Italian ices which I have tried them all yet, but Mango is my ultimate favorite! I love getting the gelati combo, where you can get ice cream and Italian ice in between. Love coming here! =)

  • Colleen B.

Coming from up north (where we call it wooter ice) I was slow to come around on Jeremiah's. I have always had a liking to Rita's since it was born in Philly and I would eat there almost every summer night. Having had Rita's down here (different than up north) and being to Jeremiah's quite a few times... I am not a fan. I dig the walk up atmosphere, I love the various flavors and I really like the gelatis (little ice cream). I have to say, what really turned me, the pumpkin pie seasonal flavor... GOOD LORD, so amazing, so on point with the flavors and just delicious. So, yes, I now can say I am an Orlando girl who likes Jeremiah's Italian Ice, however, I will still call it wooter ice.

This place is awesome and always busy when I drove by. Definitely try the Italian Ice with the soft serve ice cream swirl. The girls serving are all pleasant and helpful.

I've never had a bad experience at this Jeremiah's or at the only other location (Aloma Ave.) I've been to, and it's not likely that I ever will. The shops consistently churn out outstanding products and excellent value. The flavors are plentiful, the service is excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. I'm of the opinion that you simply cannot go wrong at Jeremiah's, no matter what. I was here yesterday and had a large peanut butter ice (I totally forgot that they had this here, though I don't know if it's a staple on the menu) mixed with chocolate soft serve. It was wonderful. I also forgot just how large their large-sized cups are, which was an added bonus. I almost wasn't able to finish the whole thing ... almost. If you've been here, then you've probably had similarly exceptional experiences here. If you haven't been to this one or to any of the other locations, go!

  • Dee B.

Jeremiah's is always a great place to fix a sweet tooth for cheap! My absolute favorite is the Pina Colada gelati (w vanilla icecream). It's delicious! Tastes just like a pina colada! Great location, always busy!

Ever wonder how amazing ice cream can be? I know I have!!! and my wonder came to a hault when i discovered Jeremiah's Italian Ice! Oh the amazement i felt trying that gelati... not sure what a Gelati is? just yummy layers of italian ice and soft serve ice cream thats all! Now they have a variety of flavors and mix and matching that can be done. but hands down my ultimate favorite, addicted eve, is the Cookies & Cream with Vanilla Soft Serve. the deliciousness can not even be put int words. its a MUST try! My favorite ice cream of all time! you must check it out :)

Love the gelati! Its East coast Florida's answer to a Rita's hole. Strawberry, melon and pina colada are all super good. Had them all and have not been disappointed. There is something about sweet creamy ice cream swirled with flavored ice that just hits the spot on a sunny day!
