Just checking into to say this place is STILL awesome! Great food, big portions with loaded ingredients!! Call in for take out a few times and they know your voice (and if you generally get the same items, your order) on the phone. I try all of the new places I can, but I have to say this is still our most reliable and favorite regular!

A staple in the Lutz area. I have been eating here since the 1990's and the food has always been very good.

By far, this is the best Chinese food I have had in the area. The food is full of flavor, and they are very quick! Worth the drive if you don't live in Lutz. These guys don't skimp like the others do.

Has been my favorite Chinese place for many years. Typical menu -- my favorite is the Hunan Beef. mmmmm Lunch combo prices are phenomenal. Service is fast and friendly.

I've had takeout from this location a couple of times after hearing rave reviews from some of the fellow locals. I guess since I've been back more than once it speaks to quality and taste of the food at this place. It's a small mom and pop type place, but from the takeout traffic I knew I didn't go wrong the first time I ordered from here. I've managed to try the Hot and Sour Soup, Black Pepper Chicken, Mongolian Chicken, and Schezuan Chicken on my visits and all of those items were prepared with quality ingredients and some of the most authentic Chinese cuisine I have dined on.

We have been getting takeout from here for so many years, the owner recognizes our voices on the phone. We have tried many Chinese places in Tampa and this is most like what I grew up with up North. The food is always reliable, tasty, and they have great spare ribs!! On occasion, the food is a bit too greasy but worth the calories. A staple for us!!!

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Lutz. The owner is very nice. The crispy beef is our favorite followed by the steamed dumplings. Ask for any other dish with "little oil" for better flavor (Chinese restaurants always seem to over-oil all of their dishes, this one is not exempt).

Hot and a lot of food. Quick service too. Ask for their homemade hot mustard for no additional charge.

Top notch service and food every time! You can't go wrong with House of China. It's easy to call ahead or ever find something to do like Winn Dixie while you wait ten minutes. You can eat it there too I just always get it togo.

Unfortunately they don't have negative stars otherwise that's what this establishment would have received. I felt the need to balance out the other two 5 star ratings which must have been written by the owners. The food is absolutely disgusting. The worst rice I've had but the general tso chicken took the cake for the nastiest food ever. Pieces of multiple fried chicken smothered in a horrible sauce. My wife threw up after eating only a few bites and i had a bad stomache for hours. The restaurant had 3 small children taking up 3 tables with their toys, books etc. The only positive is the young girl taking the orders. She must be about 12 years old and handles the phones and in person orders like a pro. I've seen many grown adults that wouldn't hold a candle to her efficiency in this area. Botton line is; save your money and eat anywhere else. Decent Chinese is tough to find in Tampa and this place should be at the bottom of that sad list.

This is the only place I go to for Chinese in the area. The portions are generous enough to last me for several days and the food is slightly above average in my opinion. The customer service is always friendly as well. Also very reasonably priced, I usually pay less here for more and better food than most Chinese places.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
