highly recommended! This place doesnt look like much from outside but it is nicely decorated inside. The food was great! My mother who usually has a tough time finding gluten free foods absolutely loved the Thai Salad. Food was flavorful and the portions were great. Service was also great. Cordial and professional. I will definitely be coming back here.
It was Amazing! I can't believe I've driven past here all this time and never stopped it. Let me just say, the atmosphere is very nice, the staff is fun and friendly. The food is totally amazing. I've never seen a menu quite like this. You have Mexican, Cuban, Argentina, Asian, Italian and Peruvian! How does one restaurant make all that happen I don't know but they nailed it! I ordered one of their Pork specials, my friend that brought me here ordered from there Cuban cuisine and loved it. The table next to us ordered Italian I will definitely go back to try the Italian they were raving about it! If you got all I can say is Enjoy!!!
Great food and service! The thai salad was awesome, as well has the ceviche! And the desserts just, spectacular! A perfect place to have a GOOD meal! Full recommended :)

The muscles are out if this world (and I typically don't like any muscles!!). The wings are amazing, not buffalo'd at all, but roasted with garlic and olive oil- delish!!! The pizza is outstanding, brick oven style, the toppings are fresh and amazing!! This is a 'don't miss' spot!!!
The Sicilian salad and chicken Parmesan pizza are the best I've had also love the Popeye pizza this is the ONLY pizza I will eat and my absolute favorite salad the dressing is Amazing I wish they sold it in a bottle!
Brought along a new friend this time on my second visit. Along with my favorite starter fried calamari, I ordered an eggplant parmesan pancetta. Many very well-seasoned, thin cut slices of eggplant stacked high and snuggled in between crisp, warm bread. My friend enjoyed the Fughedaboutit panetta that I recommended and she created a new menu item by topping her salad with some of the fried calamari. Nothing here disappoints.

Reviews:
I've lived most of my life in Lighthouse Point, except for my three-and-a-half years at the University of Miami, half a year in Australia and eight hellish months in Montana. I've known that Lito's existed for quite a long time, but never gave it a chance until last night. I can't believe it took me this long to give it a try, especially given that it's a local restaurant and not a chain. Clearly, I've been missing out. I brought my mom along, and we were quickly seated at a booth. After perusing the menu, we decided to order the soft pretzel sticks to start. These were fantastic... crisp on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. They came with two kinds of mustard dipping sauces, and while I do like brown mustard, that one was quickly abandoned in favor of the honey mustard. I also decided to order from their craft beer menu, and got the UFO White (one of my favorites), which they brought in the bottle with a koozie (I was told I was welcome to keep the koozie) and a frosted glass with an orange wedge. That glass happened to be a University of Miami glass, so extra points just for that ;) And after ordering these to start, I realized how very German I was... pretzels and beer. I am half German, after all. Given that Germany had just won the World Cup two hours prior, I guess this was my subconscious way of celebrating. My mom chose the filet mignon sliders with onion rings as her meal, while I opted for the Lighthouse Point chicken. It's marinated in teriyaki and ginger, and topped with a grilled pineapple. Our waitress Stephanie didn't even blink an eye when I made my (admittedly odd) request for the chicken to be prepared well done (it's a long story). My meal came with two sides, so I chose a side salad and well-done tater tots. The side salad even came with homemade croutons, and I very nearly had to stab my mom's hand with my fork to stop her from stealing them (she succeeded once). The entree itself was delicious. The tater tots were super crispy as requested, and the chicken had a wonderful flavor and came with a side of more of the sauce. My mom loved her meal as well. The filet mignon medallions were incredibly tender, and the onion rings were panko breaded, not beer battered, and also well done (what can I say, it runs in the family). We left here incredibly full and very impressed. This will surely be on our dining out rotation, and thank goodness too... my mom tends to gravitate to chain restaurants, and I was getting tired of disappointing meals :)
We live nearby, thankfully, and we are always impressed by the quality of the food and the great service from the incredible staff. If you haven't been here yet you need to check this place out. If we could we would eat here every night!!!!! Several times when we have been there the owners have come to our table and asked how everything was, I can't say enough about the wonderful atmosphere and neighborly attitude everyone has there, it's just awesome!
This place is very generic and the food is very blah. The menu, website, and outdoor space led my husband and I to believe this was an actual seafood grill. We walked into what looked like a breakfast diner. The menu has somewhat of a minimal seafood section and the daily specials consisted of items like grilled cheese and chicken salad. The sides are very small and the food was, at best, fine. I would skip this place and find a more authentic restaurant.

Nice, little restaurant on the water. Good for families. Outside dining available, where you can watch the boats coming and going. The menu is on the smaller side with options, but the food was good. I enjoyed the scallops; they were huge and most importantly, fresh! The sweet potato fries were so good they didn't need ketchup or anything. The fried shrimp were a little greasy but also good. Overall a decent spot for fresh seafood.
Cute little place, the signature salad was sooooo good! The fish dip from their appetizers is good too, I would recommend that was well.
My coconut french toast was delish and the view is nice and peaceful. The service was quick and our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Frosty Point Ice Cream Parlor

Cute small independent ice cream place you want to support as a local business. It's very clean, well lit with a ton of flavors. The butterscotch BOMB and snickelicious are excellent. Shakes are solid. It's a good place to go vs cold stone or other chains. Really good flavors. Give it a shot.
Everything would have been fine if the lady working there wasn't so rude. I would have looked passed the fact the ice cream tasted freezer burnt or the fact that three ice cream cones came out to over $12. I asked politely if we were allowed to taste a flavor before buying and she acted as though that was such a terrible request. Even though the little tasting spoons were sitting right there on the counter. No smile, no thank you for coming, no have a nice day. We got nothing but scowls, dirty looks and rude responses to every question we asked. Which was about 3 questions total. She was so unpleasant that my 10 year old daughter even noticed. Nothing was nostalgic about the ambiance either. It was a regular ice cream shop. The only cute thing was the mini carousel in the back. Maybe the ice cream would have been good if not for the freezer burnt taste but who knows. I won't be returning and I'll be telling people they may want to consider another establishment before considering going here.
I can't imagine a negative review on this place. It sells ice cream, in so many flavors and so many serving choices. The lady was super nice and the ice cream was loaded with scoops. Loved it

Seafood World

It often surprises me how tough it can be to find good fresh seafood in South Florida. In our quest for fresh seafood, we went a little out of our way to this little place that I had heard about for years. Do not come here for chic decor or a dressy night out. This is "old Florida 80"s style decor: paneled walls, clam like sconces, & fish on the walls. It is a perfect place to bring the kids but don't get fooled by the down home decor. This place is not cheap, although I do believe the prices are fair. We started with the Smoked Fish Dip ($10.95). I am not usually a fish dip lover but this was one of the better ones I have had. It was thick and creamy with just the right amount of chunkiness. It had a very fresh flavor with just a touch of spice. Our server was kind enough enough to let me try a bit of the Seafood Vinagarette appetizer which I found to be a little too sweet. Instead, I ordered the Tuna Yuki ($13.95), kind of a tuna tartar with kimchi sauce. Unfortunately I found this to be way too salty and I had to send it back. Husband and boys all got Lobster Bisque ($5.95/Mug) . I tried it and it was good: very thick, creamy, and filling. I would not order it if you really wanted room for your main dish. Our server recommended the Hogfish Francaise ($32.95) which both Husband and I ordered. Funny, I can't say anything negative about this dish. The hogfish was fresh, buttery smooth, not overcooked. The lemon butter sauce was just a little too mellow, making the dish a little "blah". I would not order it again. 10 year old had a Crab cake: dense with crab and tasty 9 year old had Kelly's Gulfstream Grouper ($34.95) ....: it was grouper with lobster sauce, shrimp, crab, and scallops. It was a huge portion and cooked nicely. The scallops and shrimp were well seasoned and the lobster sauce was very tasty. Service was a 5. Kudos to our friendly server Joanna. Her enthusiasm about the restaurant was c. She expalined that she had been a customer for several years and just got her first server job there four months ago. She took her time to explain and recommend items on the menu. She always kept an eye on our table to see if we needed anything and kept our drinks full. Overall, a bit of a disappointment. Really a 3 1/2 but I could not round up to a 4 even with the superior service. Fresh fish? Yes. But the preparation left a little to be desired. It was uneven and flat. This rating after only one visit may be premature. However, I am more than willing to try Seafood World again to give it another chance (but I do not know if I would drive out of my way again to do it!)ontagious
One of the worst meals I've ever had. Place was not busy and service took forever; it would have been acceptable if we actually received hot, or even warm food.
Easy to get to mall restaurant on Federal Highway located essentially between Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach.... As you walk into SeaWorld you know you're in the right place if raw seafood is your thing ,whether they be clams or oysters....But instead we opted for Missy's baked oysters with fresh garlic & special seasoning.crab cakes & pasta with white clam sauce. Mary our server ,was 5 stars. Everything we ordered was 4 to 5 stars.. The menu choices were clearly 5 stars. The ambience was 3 to 4 stars. Can't wait to return. If it were not for the relatively high prices I probably would have rated this restaurant 5 stars. Except for ambience this spot is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in the area.

I went to this arbys one day because there is not that much quick food around and my mom and I needed to get something quick before our appointment. We walked in and the lady at the counter was extremely friendly and had a huge smile on her face. When we were ready, we ordered and she was very polite the entire time. My mom wanted jalapeno poppers, but not 5, only a couple...so she got fries with her food instead. Even though we were supposed to wait to be called and come pick up our food from the counter, the manager delivered it to our table instead. When he did, he said, I heard you wanted 2 poppers, so I brought some out for you. The restaurant was clean and very friendly. This is sadly a huge shock because most south Florida fast food people aren't nearly as nice. If you are going to Arbys, I hope they are all this friendly!
I've gone to this Arby's a few times over the course of 10 years (mainly because friends were getting something there). I don't really eat fast food unless I'm desperate, but Arby's has given me diarrhea EVERY TIME. I don't know if it's this Arby's, or every one. I would honestly rather ingest my socks after a long days work in the sun. Not to mention, I recall getting some food that was still frozen. Worst fast food place I've ever eaten at (and I have eaten the sandwiches from gas stations). Do yourself a favor. If you're thinking about eating at Arby's, just eat a bag of diarrhea. It will cut to the chase.
I've always had a pleasant experience here. The food is fresh, the employees are friendly and the place is always kept clean.

Tried the Parmesan Kale Soup... OMG it was soooooo good. Wayyyyy better than Panera breads soup. The workers are certainly better and more helpful than PB. That's probably because they were older and not snobby little teenagers. I also had the Vegan Sandwhich on a poppyseed bagle and it was glorious! More expensive than panera but it's 100 times better and The atmosphere is smaller and slower paced. I don't feel like I'm just being rushed to gwt me out the door. It's great!
I've been coming here every week for the past 4 months. ..most times 3 times a week..I hate kale but decided to try HALE TO THE KALE salad after someone recommend it to me. .. all I can say is WOW!! I add salmon and the fish is always cooked perfectly and adds the right top note to compliment the full tastes of the salad. The salad is served worth a bagel loaf but I ask for French instead! TRYING IT!!! IT'S DELICIOUS AND NUTRITIOUS! !!
I love the breakfast protein bowl. The other menu items look so good too but I literally drive out of my way for this. I swap out the egg for chicken. The hummus is homemade and everything is cooked fresh. I never knew I liked mushrooms so much. The best part is how great I feel after. Fully energized and guilt free. I failed to take s picture. Too eager to dig in.

We visited hot leggz because of a group on and it seemed like a great spot to watch the American soccer game. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with TVs everywhere! They had great world Cup specials and we also noticed daily specials as well. They really tried to make every guest feel at home. For every goal America made the waitresses walked around with "American themed" Jell-O shots. Nice touch. As for the food it's your typical bar found. We ordered shrimp and some Brazilian cheese balls to start. The cheese balls came with this dipping sauce that was fantastic. I strongly recommend you get these; however they were in a different menu of specials. To eat we ordered steak tacos. My fiancé enjoyed them. Very tender and juicy. Overall we had a great experience with wonderful service!
Great service and great food but best of all the drinks kick ass! Sorry for the lies.... But fuck this place!!!
Loud music. Dark dining room. Slowish service, although unsure if it was the server or kitchen. Food was average.

Menchies Frozen Yogurt

Like the location in Boca - this one is scary, the times I've gone it's had a lot of high school kids hanging out with the girl working and she had them help her put out product and also opened up the back room to them as well! Also went in about 30-40 min before close one night and they had already shut everything down and were really rude about us wanting to get toppings and made us wait to be rung out. Menchies has great flavors and toppings, but go to another location!
My favorite frozen yogurt chain and the lighthouse point store is like my second home. I stop by here regularly before work to kill that sweets craving and it always does the job. The flavors change frequently and the yogurt is always well made, at other locations the yogurt can be too watery or icey but here its consistently a good texture with actual taste. The service is good, theyre not stingy with the free sample cups like most froyo chains. They dont always have hot fudge but when they do its thick and tasty and im glad they dont just settle for ghiradelli chocolate sauce like 99% of froyo places. The warm caramel sauce is just as good as the hot fudge. They dont have crushed snickers like the menchies on sample road. The chocolate, pistachio, coconut, and dulche de leche are always really good, they dont always have red velvet but when they do its one if the better options. Tcby was the pioneer of the froyo game but failed to master it, Yogurtland's borderline blandness holds them back, and that leaves Menchies as the undisputed champ in my ranks, thanks Menchie for always being a pal in my time of need
This review is for February 27, 2015. Was not impressed. The "frozen" yogurt was so soft it melted as soon as we sat down to eat. I would never go back!
