The lobster roll is served on a butter drenched garlic roll that overpowers the lobster. The fish and chips are excellent.

My fiancé and I adore this location. We visit here for brunch almost as often as we can on Sundays making it a ritual. The Manager is incredibly attentive. We has a small Mishap with a dish and they rectified it immediately. We have befriended one of the servers who always remembers us and gives us coupons that keep us coming back.

Great Happy hour with $2.99 21 Oz drafts and awesome flat breads. Manager Tommy aims to accommodate and the bartenders are friendly. If you love Bloody Mary's you have to try theirs.

Great little place just off the beach. Good happy hour 1-7 with $2.88 wells $5 flatbread, can beat it. Breakfast special $2.99. 2 eggs, hash browns and toast, must order a beverage. Still not a bad deal at about $5.50 Overall good ambiance Service is your typical tourist area service...

Nice atmosphere but the food is AWFUL. Service was attentive but incapable of fixing timing issues and terrible good. Dinner came out 5 minutes after salad. And worst of all it is not cheap. We had a $75 bill and were completely dissatisfied. Have a beer at the outside bar and fight the temptation to eat anything.

Newly opened with a great staff. We sat outside under the canopy. It shelters the wind. I ordered the French toast. It was a little undercooked. Great eggs, potatoes, and bacon. Others had a spinach omelette. They make it with creamed spinach and not fresh spinach. It was huge and rich. It comes with toast and potatoes. Another person had the breakfast burrito. It is topped with jarred salsa. You need to pay extra for meat.

Feel like there should be a 1-2 star deduction for basically cloning the menu from the 4 other restaurant/grills that are within spitting distance of this place..Sup with some variety around here Went with the mahi sandwich (safe pick) which was standard issue and they had a special on ordering 2 entrees because theyre new/desperate im guessing live music inside I would probably go back if there was a wait at arubas but i wouldnt be shocked if this spot turns into a every 6 month change restaurants type of deal

Me and a group of my friends visiting the area went out to find a place to eat. Most of the places had waits which is understandable considering it's a Friday night but this establishment seemed to have less of a crowd so we decided to stop in. I can now see why no one was eating here considering the customer service was terrible. I have worked in restaurants and I know how they work and operate so sometimes I give the employees the benefit of the doubt, but this was a different case. We were sat immediately but it took 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink and food order even though our waiter passed our table multiple times. It got to the point to where we almost got up and walked out until he finally approached us and thankfully apologized for the wait. After that, service was alright but definitely sub par. He also tried to give us a VIP discount for taking too long to get to us but it was only 2 dollars... Really? I would hope that's not the answer to all of your problems. As far as the food goes, I think it's a bit overpriced for the quality but they do give larger portions. I got the beef nachos which were huge but definitely not worth the 12 dollars. My other friends said there food was good so it would seem that fish is the way to go here. We are out of town, but if I come back to area this will definitely be a last resort on my list. Therefore, I gave it 2 stars mainly because of the customer service and it would have gotten a 1 star if the food was terrible.

The food was pretty good, and the wait staff was nice. The decor was... bad. Like a tourist spent a week in Florida, and opened up a shop. But the real bone I have to pick with this place with the menu. Look, every place, you can get a burger or sandwich, and it comes with fries. Are you guys seriously gonna nickle and dime everybody with the dollar upcharge for freaking french fries? Come on. Also, don't have a lobster menu, if it's just going to be full of things with lobster in it, but not any actual simple lobster.

I read some poor comments on this place, but I couldnt disagree more. Scott, the bartender is super cool, and everybody that works here is attentive and good spirited. Food came out immediately, I had the mahi rueben my girl had the turkey club...both excellent. To top it off, they play sports and have a live steel drum player. Its a very beachy feel, def will return soon!

Went here for an afternoon snack and drinks during happy hour. We sat at the outside part of the bar which was really nice. The buffalo chicken flatbread was delicious! Scott the bartender was the BEST! Super friendly and he had us laughing the entire time! Glad we stopped in!

All I can say is wow. First time to visit & we will be back before our vacation is over. First of all, the entire staff is extremely nice & welcoming. 2nd the food is amazing. My kids are very picky eaters & they ate every bite. It's a huge deal to my daughter that the Mac & cheese is Kraft. Which is what they serve. Also, they brought out our kids food before ours which is a huge plus!! 3rd their alcoholic beverages are amazing......This place knows what they're doing.

Michelle is the most awesome bartender in Ft Lauderdale at Mulligans the food was the best. Great Calamari, felt like I had gone to Calamari heaven! Excellent customer service! Must go and try this place, great atmosphere!

Poor service, really long wait to get a drink when the place is not busy! Bartenders didn't know how to make standard drink (rum runner) and house specialty was so alcoholic I had to ask for sprite to make it drinkable!

My husband had the bloody mary and said he's had better. The shrimp that it was garnished with was overcooked. I ordered the crab benedict. The crab was so overcooked that is was rubbery and tough to chew. The English muffin wasn't toasted enough so every bite was very soggy. The egg yolk broke as she set the plate down and ran all over the table. My husband ordered the lobster benedict which was only slightly better than mine. There wasn't enough lobster on it to taste and again the English muffin wasn't toasted. To top it all off the waitress 'misplaced' my debit card. She was looking all over for it and wasn't able to find it. She returned to the table once with the bill in hand and was looking for my card. She finally returned to the table with the receipt and card to sign. She said the hostess picked up the bill and she couldn't find it. I cancelled the card to be certain of no funny business.

Cute place and fun decor. Our server, Jim, was nice enough to change the TV to the Stanley cup game. Inside was pretty empty. The food was served in a timely manner however my chicken fajita platter came out and 5 minutes later my lettuce and tortillas arrived. One time we were asked if all was well and at that time it was but we never saw out server again and I realized that I got no pica or guacamole as advertised with my dinner. Once our food was almost gone before our sever came by again. The food was expensive. The water was bad tasting too. We were never told about the rewards card and just happened to find it in the bill holder. Overall is that is was just okay. There are to many places to eat in Ft Lauderdale to come back.

Great place, awesome service. Servers are fast and friendly. I had Baja fish tacos and they were much better than I expected. There was a guy playing the steel drum who was actually pretty good. There was a few people dancing. Overall it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves.

Very large menu including fresh seafood, salads, burgers, flatbreads and beachy cocktails. Lots to choose from. Nothing gluten-free...had a no-bun burger and it was just ok. Shrimp cocktail was awesome--large, fresh shrimp. Overall a great dinner. Super friendly staff and we were seated (inside) right away (5:30p on a Friday). Wait for outdoor seating was 45 min. Our food came quickly! Bathrooms were large and clean--a welcome option after a long day on the beach.

The whole office ordered from here today. No one was thrilled with the food and we are not a picky office. I had the Mahi BLT which was incredibly salty. The french fries were cold and tasted similar to burger king quality (not good) & the potato chips were stale. I will not be trying this place again.

Pretty decor, poor service, over salted food in order to make you buy drinks. Manager on duty night of July 25 - CODY - WHAT A VERY RUDE YOUNG MAN - how he ever came to be a "Manager" I will never know. Absolutely no customer service training at all. Rude, smug - Mr. George Hart you need to look at how your restaurant is being managed. He probably thought by our accents that we were tourists - but we are 30 year residents and know a lot of people and will pass the word on this abysmal service. When it was pointed out to the waitress that we had been charged $12 for a $6.25 glass of wine she went away to sort it out. Never came back. After 15 minutes of waiting we finally went to the front and asked for the manager. Cody came along, very sullen, very rude, very loud and arrogant. The waitress never, ever reappeared again. She was outside serving and apparently "super busy" according to the rude Cody. Also he scoffed "you did not wait 15 minutes for someone to get back to you" Yes we did, and probably would still be waiting. Don't go there. There's a reason why its easy to get a table there and there is always a line across the street at Aruba, where the food is delicious and the service and management very good.

Yesterday my mom and is wanted brunch and we couldn't find anything new. We've been everywhere down by the beach. We happened to remember that mulligans just opened recently, so we gave it a try. As soon as we saw the menu my moms eyes lite up. She saw they had Crab Benedict. Not fake Krab but the real Crab. She ordered it and fell in love. I had some breakfast sandwich on really soft toasted bread. Simply amazing breakfast. The server tommy was a total kick. Super funny and wasn't afraid of handling the whole restaurant. He knew the menu real well and suggested us to the strawberry wine which was super fabulous. Let's say they had to bring out another bottle of it for us. Great area to be at and love the food and drinks. I wish they had more of a happy hour or some deals on the weekend. I will so come back with friends next time.

Staff does not pay enough attention to customers. Ignored at front door. Servers made errors on order for me and other partons. They watch TV instead of their tables and talk to each other with their backs to the customer. The hollandaise is horrible made from a powder and tastes like old cheese. Ham was not fresh. The manager is very attentive and observed to be good to another customer when their server didn't bring the food prepared as they had ordered it.. My eggs bennedict also came incorrectly, with the hollandaise all over it instead of on the side and I had to wait a VERY long time for it to be remade . The staff are very friendly when they finally come to your table but I'm not there looking for friends. I want great food and great service. Didn't find it this time.

I've been here enough times to finally give it a review. Nothing is fantastic here, but the food is edible. Try the burger sliders. They are fantastic. Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich on the pretzel roll, I guess depending on who is cooking, is good. Hit or miss. Nice place to watch a game from the bar. But, no pitchers of beer. What is that.

This place should be ashamed of theirselves. What I witnessed last night was a disgraceful showing of disrespect to police officers that had just finished eating at their establishment. They ended their meal to assist two cops that were on foot nearby making a drug bust. The dim-witted employee kept making remarks that it was overkill to have 4 cops making a drug bust and it was a waste of time to arrest anyone because they are just going to do it again. As we disagreed she ignored us the rest of the night. Her name is Kim by the way and she "has a master's degree" as she stated when we complained to the manager about her ignoring us. The manager was equally disrespectful. Waving us out the door like a ignorant little bobble head and following us down the road. Apparently no one taught them any manners but I'll tell you a little bartender/manager 101. If you have a master's degree I would think this concept would be easy to grasp so let's give it a shot. Since you make tips...don't argue and mouth off to your customers. Your tip ratio by bystanders and the customers you disrespected will go down immensely. You should smile once in a while. Be polite and make drinks. You are serving us. If you worked in my restaurant you would be fired. Chicago people don't take that disrespectful attitude. It's adolescent behavior. And for the manager obviously suffering from napoleon syndrome. You do not have a right to bring your employee in when a customer is making a complaint. It's none of their business at that time. You provide a service. This isn't a court room and you are not a judge. You are a receiver. The disrespect to my father while making the complaint and the police officers that ended their dinner early was unbearable and a disgrace. I would never go here again. Service was clearly awful. If anything order the food to go. Don't waste your money on ignorant people pouring drinks. All the best to you Kim. The fact that someone like you has a master's degree makes me believe ANYTHING is possible!

South of the border omelette with tomatoes, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and etc. was just ok. I'd recommend the Greek omelette or French toast. The view ocean view hit the spot Christmas morning. The service was prompt and my coffee was always full. It's a little pricy for breakfast.

Mulligan's is no different from any other tourist restaurant near the ocean--it is expensive, parking is a hassle, outdoor eating is unthinkable in the summer but even though the layout inside isn't the best the service and food was better than I expected. They have been doing heavy advertising with 2-4-1 lunches and dinners but look at the small print as it is only up to $10 off for lunch and $15 for dinner. Also they offered us a coupon not knowing we had one which either means the servers have the customer in mind or the management feels they need a come on. We went for lunch and Allen lucked out in finding a handicap space for which there is no charge so things looked up from the get-go. Also they have completed the renovation of Commercial Boulevard from the beach to the bridge and it really looks super. Tommy, our server, welcomed us and offered us the free coupon, showed us their membership card which is good for discounts in the future, took our drink order with Allen having the diet soda ($2.50) and me the coffee ($2.25) and served them promptly. Allen ordered the fried seafood platter ($19.95) which consisted of fried fish, shrimp, Clams Strips and fries while I had the seafood risotto ($26.95) with clams, shrimp, calamari & mussels on top of creamy risotto. I, also, had a choice of soup or salad and had the latter which was fresh and had a good commercial blue cheese dressing and came with a large garlic roll stick. The dish had plenty of shellfish, more shrimps than I expected along with a good variety but the risotto was too creamy making it almost soupy. We both agreed the portions were big, the food good but would be too much for most people having lunch. They should offer smaller portions at smaller prices for the afternoon crowd. The bill with tax and tip (20% based on original prices) came to $51.75 after the $15 coupon was deducted. The bottom line is that Mulligan's is a good spot to play at being a tourist, taking out of towners to give them the beach atmosphere. has good service and food though seafood, steak and pasta dishes are too highly priced for lunch so you might want to stick to the sandwiches and salads.

Decent breakfast food and great location. Nothing too exciting on the menu. My sister loved her stuffed French Toast. My South of the border omelet was OK. Too many jalapeños but tasty.

Service was okay. Bartender was terrible, didn't know the menu for a suggestion and had a bad attitude when spoken to. Also, the brunette bartender thought it was rude when we were polite to her and told us to quit calling her ma'am even though that's what I was raised to say. On top of that she talked down to us the rest of the time and talked bad about us to patrons sitting beside us. Thanks ma'am!!!!!!!!

Don't pass this place up as we did. We tried to go to Benny's on the beach and there was a 55 minute wait. We went back and it was only a 15 minute wait.... The wait staff is great. If you're a lover of clam chowder this place is a must and the grouper is great.

Not worth all the hype. Everything we (4 people) ordered was fried. A Bar-B-Que Chicken sandwich and they fried the chicken in a heavy batter! Then my friend did not finish her turkey and asked for a box. The waiter took the plate, put it on another table, then went for the take-out box. Five minutes later he returned, and picked up the 1/2 sandwich with his hand (no gloves) and "threw" it in the box. Then just put the take-out box on the table. I've been in the hospitality business for years and never seen that before. Understand they wanted to open for the holiday and obviously were not ready to provide the service or training the staff needed. I live only two blocks away but never plan on going back. Reminded me of an old Three Stooges short - where Larry and Curly are waiters.

Brunch-I had the spinach Benedict. It was good, but not great. The English muffins were not toasted. The spinach was in some kind of a cream cheese spread, not what I was expecting or described in the menu. And the holiday sauce did not taste fresh. More like out of the bag, premade. My cousin had the sausage omelette and said it was really good. Also you can't beat the location. Looks like the have a great happy hour.

bad food, slow service, lauderdale-by-the-Sea living off of it's location and nothing more, if you like poorly done so so American food then this is the place for you!

We were a five-top, two adults, 3 kids. We had the fish tacos, spicy shrimp quesadilla, bbob (best burger on block) a BLT, and mac and cheese. The waitress was great and super knowledgable, the drinks were good, and the food was great as well. Compared to the other places around there, this is one of the better ones. We go to the Kilwins after for ice cream, walk along the pier and that's how you do Lauderdale by the Sea.

I was suppose to meet some friends to go to Kaluz but we somehow miss communicated and they found themselves at Mulligan's. I had heard from friends it was not the best. I really did not want to eat there but they were already seated when I found them so I said lets give it a try. I started with a Rum runner which was on special at $5. I actually had 2 on a total empty stomach and did not even feel a buzz. I asked them if they put any alcohol in the drink as it was like having a slush. When it came to ordering I over heard the waiter offering a chicken sandwich that was VERY I mean VERY spicy. So I had my waiter get that for me. I think it was called paradise Chicken sandwich which was to be a Jerk Chicken. It came with home made chips which were not bad. But the sandwich itself was small and as for the spice I am still waiting for it to hit me!!! If I rated it from 1to 10 I would give it a 0. There was no spice and it sure was not Jerk Chicken. The next day I went to Kaluz and ordered a chicken sandwich and that sure was a chicken sandwich. Except for the chips nothing else to write home about. This place is nothing but location if you want to be seen!!!

My husband and a good friend of ours finally made it to Mulligan's for dinner. We were seated right away. It was a cool night so we opted to be sat outside. And that is the best part of my review. It took about 20 or so minutes before our friend got up to find our waiter/waitress. It was a slow night from what I can see as the restaurant was not even full. After placing our drink order we thought it would be best to probably let the server know what we wanted to have for dinner. Who knows when we would see her again. Our friend order a Passion Mojito; which he thought was quite tasty. My husband and I just order soda (they serve Coke products). We did order the Cheesy Fries as an appetizer along with the Firecraker Shrimp (thinking these were going to be like Bang Bang shrimp it didn't even compare. No "sass" at all. Just breaded shrimp with some sauce). Main coarse was the Best Burger On the Beach, Fish Taco's and I had to setting for Spicy Shrimp Alfredo with broccoli because they ran out of clams because I really wanted Linguini n Clams. Who runs out of seafood on a Friday night? I specifically as can the sauce not be spicy and I did get a reply of yes; my food came out spicy anyway. The cheesy fries were drenched with nachos cheese instead of fresh cheese; yellow or white. Overall, this isn't food you couldn't get anywhere else with better service. We should have gone to Aruba's instead.

We went to Mulligans last night. It's very close to our home we were excited about it and had not had the opportunity to go. Big Big Big mistake. Our waitress Cali was sweet and a great server. She can't help that the quality of their food is disgusting. I ordered a a mudslide which came out. NOT frozen but milky. I sent it back. The chicken sandwich I ordered came out as a compressed fake frozen breast. As well as the frozen fries I received. I ate one bite of each. And sent it to be packaged up for my dogs. (I later decided it wasn't even good enough to give to my pups). My boyfriend ordered the fish and chips. Which was NOT Cod or haddock. That two was frozen and we asked what type of fish. It was a knockoff frozen catfish from Vietnam called Basa. Read about it. It's imported and not good for you. We live on the beach and they imported a fish that's listed on the do not consume list. My advice. DO NOT CONSUME shit from this disgusting restaurant. It's new and shiny appearance will pull you in but if they are serving this debacle then I wonder what they are really doing in the kitchen. Poor poor quality. We voiced out concern to the so called manager. His response when I showed him my chicken. "What is that"? Is that chicken?? In a shocked voice. Really guy?? He did offer a free desert. We kindly said no thank you. That's the last thing we wanted something from that kitchen. Go across the street Go down the street. Go anywhere but here. I gave it one star only because I couldn't give a zero. I am asked often where to go locally in my neighborhood. I always warn Not to go here. Do yourself a favor. Go to one of the other restaurants in the area. the Village. Or Aruba. Burgerfi. Hell Mcdonalds I'm not a fan of but I'd eat there before I ever go back to this hell hole!!!

I went here to have a drink and dessert with a friend. My drink was weak, they were definitely under-pouring. We waited over 30 min for the desserts we ordered. They apparently forgot to put the order in the computer. Then after I had to harass the bartender to check again on it, We finally got out desserts, except they brought me the wrong cake. I had to wait another 10 min for the right one. Then when I complained to the manager, asking to have the cake removed from my bill, he argued with me for 5 minutes about it. He finally agreed to take the cake off, and the new bill showed he removed my friends dessert instead (the cheaper one!). The bartenders ignored us the whole time. It was difficult to get their attention, and it was not busy!

We came here b/c they have so much on the menu and I like to have a lot of options. The food was above average and the drinks were great. ....................for a place on the beach to offer parking is a lot to ask and this place DOES NOT HAVE PARKING so minus ONE star - however for BRUNCH / BREAKFAST it is very good - attentive service, proper portions at a reasonable price and a wide range of standard selections - french toast with ALMONDS, spinich and cheeze omelet with hollandaise sauce and cubed potatoes, pancakes and eggs ALL were very good.............of course they want to push the BOOZE but even without it we did NOT feel rushed and pushed out over meal ending coffee...............the BEST thing is the BEACH at the end of Commercial Blvd, and with that, these restaurants really do not need to be good to draw crowds, BUT someone did put a lot of effort and money into this place - i hope they make it

Let me start out DO NOT EAT HERE!! My very first experience my mom and went to sit at the bar and the manager chased us down and said "you have to have a hostess seat you".. Meanwhile the hostess' had their backs turned and talking to each other. I should of known not to go back. Just today we gave it another chance. Ok greeted right away, got seated pretty quickly... Sat at the table for 10 mins before anyone had come up to us and greeted us. Place was dead, plenty of servers walked by did nothing. We order a starter of artichoke dip and the chips were burnt and greasy ask for another bunch nothing came. Our side cease salad came with a curly hair in the bottom we wait another 10 mins for a manger no one came.. So while I'm puking from disgust walking out a server comes running after my mom and I saying you need to pay your bill you can't do this.. Manger comes and says sorry... Moral of the story.. Place has shitty service... Food sucks and is way over priced!! Take this advice plenty of other great restaurants near by. Oh Ps we tipped the server because she didn't do anything wrong!

The food was good and the waitresses were very friendly. They actually had pretty bathrooms with counters and tiles that matched the colors of the ocean and sand.

when they first opened I ordered the Rizotto ,I ve been there several times afterwords and it has been different each time, never as good as the first month , today it was my last, it was disgusting, dont go there unless you wanna pay a lot for nasty food, its very sad,we were so happy at first (as a locals) when they first opened but not for too long and we did go back at least 5 times and its getting worst and worst each time, I wish they had a better management so we have a place to eat in this beautiful neighborhood

Just OK. Staff friendly, raved about fish and chips, it was good but not great. Kids Mac and cheese was small, kids ordered a second and they charged us full price. Wouldn't come back.

Although the food was very good (delicious salad with blackened salmon) and the decor is very nice, I found the inflexible nature of the waiters and manager to be very off putting. Good customer service is very important to me, and I would have thought that a new restaurant would want to please their customers. Every request we made was either denied or would cost us an up-charge. $1.50 for a different kind of bread on a sandwich. Although they have fresh oranges at the bar, they wouldn't exchange them for the mandarin oranges. Although they have a kids eat free promotion on Thursday nights, you have to spend approximately $25 for an "entree" in order to qualify. The $18 salad with salmon didn't qualify as an entree. The waiter was quoting his manager's "policies," but the manager was no where in sight. This restaurant is in a great location and the food very tasty, but if customer service is important to you, select another one of the local options.

My sister and I were in town for a week, and I think we went here 3-4 times. The service is great, and everyone there is super friendly. We found that most restaurants in this area had extremely slow service, but Mulligan's was fantastic. The clam chowder and lobster flatbread were both outstanding. My sister had mahi mahi and loved it. Their drinks were really good as well! One of the nights we went, it was my sister's 21st birthday, and they sang happy birthday and brought out key lime pie. It was delicious. I will definitely make it a priority to go back if I'm ever back in Florida.

This place is meh.......the food is Sysco quality, nothing to rave about, perhaps a bit overpriced, the drink selections and atmosphere can make up for the lack in food. It's right on the beach, so that is worth the visit. The people are friendly, and they do a great job on kid's night which is Thursday. Spongebob will come out to greet the kids! I will defiantly be back Just remember that this place is in L.B.S, which used to be a police state if you did not live there. But it seems that they have lightened up and become more business friendly

Gotta love beach bars at night! Good drinks and seafood! Everyday, all day drinks specials. Fantastic!! Had a blackened mahi mahi sandwich that was outstanding. Fries were tasty too!

This place was fantastic! Omar took fabulous care of us and even offered 15% off of our next visit. The oysters were so fresh and delicious. I had the Asian Dragon Salad for lunch, and it was packed with flavor - the shrimp's dressing was nice and light, not creamy or too rich. It was a perfect lunch before a sunny day spent on the beach. I'm also in love with their women's bathroom decor - so colorful and clean!

I make it a point every time that I'm in Fort Lauderdale to visit Mulligans great happy hour excellent breakfast doesn't get any better breakfast for $2.99 Come here at least 4 times in a week Staff is friendly can't ask for a better location right on the beach Tuesdays are buy one get the other one half price!

Fun, friendly, and welcoming...these are the words that come to my mind as I sit at my favorite Fort Lauderdale spot to work. Yes, my fellow Bostonians, Mulligan's is the Cheers of Florida "where everyone knows your name." --Food is wicked good, amazingly inexpensive so it is easy to revisit them several times a week, hangout, and give a decent tip to the very warm staff. Another PLUS is their VIP Local's Card making it even easier on the wallet! (Today, I just hung out doing computer work then grabbed take out for Mom and myself.) --Enjoy!

My boyfriend and I visited the area for a week and came here about 3 times. We loved the firecracker shrimp we would get it in happy hour which is from 1-6 I believe. The drinks were good and the staff was friendly, Scott the bartender made us feel so welcomed and was fantastic!! The only thing I didn't like was that everything was kind of expensive for what we had.

This place is really delicious! The service is good and fast, lots of choices on the menu, reasonable prices and a great location right next to the beach. We had onion rings as an appetizer which were okay, the onions were a little too squishy in my opinion. I had the cowboy burger with BBQ bacon and blue cheese and it was awesome! Fresh veggies, plenty of cheese and a huge portion. The home made chips on the side were also very good and crunchy. The coconut shrimp was perfectly crunchy, great buttery mashed potatoes and yummy broccoli with garlic. Most entrees come with a soup or salad and we had a house salad with great blue cheese dressing and a garlic breadstick on the side. Overall, really delicious wirh tons of food for the price.

With all the hype of their crab cakes I was really expecting a much better product. Called the manager and he claims that it was the first complaint he's ever gotten. Low on flavor and high in bread-ing. Overpriced! Competitor makes better

Service is fast, courteous, and attentive. Right off the beach so it's convenient. The food is good. Priced fairly for the convenience. It tastes mostly prepackaged. I ordered the fish and chips and it was great but notably frozen (not a dig, just an observation). Wife ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. She said it was good. Not a place I'd go out of my way to visit, but no regrets.

Going anywhere to eat/drink on the beach, any beach, can be a little sketchy. Do they lure you in with that beautiful ocean breeze and then suck you dry with their overpriced menu and stale tasting food? Usually that's the case so naturally I was pretty worried about going to Mulligan's Beach House Bar & Grill. I had some friends in town who were leaving early for a cruise. The spot opened at 8am on Sunday so we all met there for breakfast. I have their hibiscus mimosa (cranberry juice in lieu of oj) and the waitress gave me extra champagne and cranberry juice to refill my cup for free (bonus points to you miss). The entire staff was so friendly. Asking my friends about their trip. The manager wanted us to come back to tell him how everything had gone. They even accommodated their luggage. The food itself was pretty good. I had what I believe they called the breakfast sample. Something of a Denny's Grand Slam: eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, and potatoes. All for under $9. Cheap for the beach. Being that the place was dead, I mean, who wakes up that early on Sunday anyway, the food and drinks all arrived so quickly. We were in and out in no time. Would I go back? Absolutely. And I would most definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Plus, when you're done you are two steps some the most gorgeous sight in the world, no not me, the ocean.

St. Pats nights. AND still good servise & drinks. The mussels & pasta are soooo good. The live music singing cool & the gang was on point. Brought me reminiscing tears. Must return & recomnend.

The food was ok. I had mussels with pasta. I should have taken it without pasta as broken pieces end up in it. I also had a strawberry daiquiri which was great. The best was the service. Our waiter made sure we had a good time and explained everything.

Quick stopped here for breakfast on the beach before headed to Rhino Doughnuts for some doughnuts to bring home to the friends. I had the Crab Benedict and I wasn't too impressed, light on the flavor. The environment is beautiful but like most places by the beach, the food isn't that appealing.

Way overpriced beers. $8.00 for a Blue Moon??? Nachos came out way too fast to be freshly cooked. Didn't care for them at all. Kids ordered scrambled eggs and they looked terrible, brown and greasy. I'd pick something else next time and won't be back again.

I was at Lauderdale - by - the - sea this past weekend and my boyfriend and I decided to try out Mulligan's. There was so much to choose from on the menu that we weren't sure what to get. We went during Happy Hour which was from 1 - 7 so while enjoying a nice cold beer for $3, our waiter was very helpful in giving us suggestions to choose from. I love lobster so I got the lobster melt which is a grill cheese with lobster pieces. It was delish! My boyfriend got the firecracker shrimp quesadilla. THIS WAS THE BEST SHRIMP QUESADILLA I HAVE EVER HAD. Whatever the shrimp is fried in with the queso cheese sauce is unbelievable. We ended up going back the next two days and got the firecracker shrimp quesadilla. I am going back in November and can't wait to take everyone I'm with to mulligans! I gave it a 5 star rating because of the food I got. Our waiter was great but we took out our food the other 2 times we went there.

  • Mark G.

Is no stars an option? I base ratings on customer service. The place is virtually empty(wonder why?)and it took 20 minutes to get a beer and a menu. The funniest part is that the manager was standing 10 feet away from me the entire time!! Unbelievable! Food is okay but the service is horrible!

I'm always a little skeptical of restaurants in super touristy areas, but we had a great lunch. Our server was EJ, and he was awesome. He recommended the firecracker shrimp tacos, which were delicious. I would have preferred if they were smaller and served with salad, instead of a huge portion of rice, but I really enjoyed them. I'd also recommend trying the Bloody Mary!

I stopped by the new Mulligan's which is actually located at 18 Commercial Boulevard in Lauderdale by the Sea. Mulligan's is a chain restaurant but a rather small chain with its only locations being in Vero Beach, Jensen Beach, Stuart, Lake Worth and Sebastian. I have previously been to their other location in Sebastian, wasn't all that much impressed with their food or their prices for what they served and can't say that the Mulligan's here in Lauderdale by the Sea impressed me very much either. It's a great location, the building sparking new, has a very pleasing décor, lot of really great sidewalk patio tables, a large bar extending to the outside which, on the outside permits smoking, plus plenty of generous interior seating plus a both dining areas. On those counts it would clearly be a Four Star. They have a large menu with a good "Munchies" section consisting of about 20 items from "Drunken Onion Rings" to raw or steamed clam, two soups, either New England clam chowder or Seafood Bisque, a good selection of salads, plenty of choices in sandwiches, pasta, fresh seafood as well as some interesting breakfast choices including omelets and benedicts. At their Sebastian location I had the their sea bass which was OK, good enough, but really nothing worth writing about. Here, I had their "Crab Benedict," $13.85 that was menu indicated as being "filled with jumbo lump crab," but though it was tasty enough, only came with a mere sprinkling of flaked crab, which to me hardly fit with a common parlance definition of being "lump." Also, figuring that if I was going to drink all day, I couldn't really do that unless I started off early in the morning which I did by ordering a Caesar Bloody Mary which was noted on the menu to consist of Clamato juice, celery, lime, olive and vodka. Well, except that it didn't come with an olive, that is exactly what it was, nothing more than some vodka, a wedge of lime, Clamato juice and a stick of celery stuck in it; no other garnishments, spices, seasonings....probably the most "Plain Jane" of a Caesar Bloody Mary I've ever had. I love the location, the décor, the cleanliness and the basic sidewalk outdoor setting. Indeed it makes for a really nice place to hang. However, food wise, it's merely OK, nothing special, with nothing really worth stepping out of your way to have.

A welcomed addition to LBTS! We stopped in just a few days after they opened, it was a weekday and it was fairly quiet, we sat on the outside bar, had a few drinks and tried the Spinach dip which was surprisingly good and served with fresh homemade chips. Service was friendly but very distracted, they walked right past us on several occasions while our glasses were empty, we finally had to waive them down to get drink refills, considering there was only one other couple sitting at the bar, the bartenders need to step it up. Other than that, the restaurant is nice, I love the large bar with outside seating, there are a few TVs viewable from several angles and of course you can't beat the ocean breeze.

Meh. Decor is ok. Atmosphere is ok. Menu choices seemed ok. Wasn't really into going here, but the people i was with opted for it. The fish tacos were served and larger than expected- fresh and filling and flavorful. Served up w crisp lettuce- cool and crisp veggies. The food pleasantly surprised me. Id give it a second chance at night during a more festive hour and not in the hot sun. The bloody marys looked gigantic and festive. Still kinda up in the air, but the fish is fresh!

Confused as why this is rated 4 stars- drunken tourists perhaps? Stopped in based on the reviews and was sorely disappointed. The $2.75 jumbo shrimp are nothing to speak of (normal size) and sorely overpriced. Piña colada took 15 minutes to arrive (ordered it first, but appetizer and salad beat it. Finally, the $28 stuffed grouper was a joke- check out the pic- it looked like vomit and was just a piece of fish and a crab cake. Service was horrible as well. Pro Tip: Don't eat here.

Came to the pier with the family for a late afternoon escape. Afterwards we tried to grab dinner at Aruba but there was a wait. We tried the renovated Mulligans and we were glad we did not wait. Seafood bisque was nice as well as the mahi mahi sandwich and the grouper Reuben was amazing. It was a bit cold and the put the heater out for us. Will be back.

I can see people being split on this joint but I was actually a fan. It may have been the night as I was only in for a short trip but it was a nice night and there was a lot going on outside in the area. We had no issues with out service, food, drinks, or anything. Only took away one star because I felt it was slightly overpriced....but must be to take advantage of the tourist crowd so who can blame them.

We have been here 4 times in the last 3 days. The happy hour is pretty good- 21oz domestic drafts, 1/2 off all call drinks, and $5 flatbreads. The flatbread is delicious! I would recommend the margherita flatbread. The staff has been a hit or miss: some were a bit stiff and standoffish, and then one woman (Christina C.) was excellent and so friendly. I would recommend it for the happy hour for sure.

I was her tonight April 2, 2015 with my Wife, Daughter and her Boyfriend, We were having a good time. When we noticed a young lady being arrested by the Police for what appeared t be a drug related stop. I had a Lady next to me that was moving around and could not sit still. She was with an older man. The older man and lady. Stated they hate the cops and have no use for the, They kept up with the Police bashing even talking to Kim the Bartender. After about 5 min of the couple bashing the police. I told them to shut up they are doing there job. The couple became upset and I did not back down. Enough is enough. Then Kim the bartender told my wife. Why would the police arrest her she will just sell drugs again. And to have 4 policeman around her was over kill. So I left no tip for Kim. Instead I left here a note. It read. If you see a man beating a child. Why stop him? He will just do it again. I will not go here again. Never! And the manager backed his employee. If you respect the Police you should never step foot in here again.

Setting: This place is great! It's Wednesday afternoon so it's not busy. It's located right next to the beach with indoor and outdoor seating. I chose indoor since the outdoor looks a little awkward with the crowded sidewalk. The inside decor is fun, and they have booths, tables and a bar. The waiter was awesome and the owner came over to introduce himself. Food&Drink: I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was simple and delicious. I didn't have to wait for my food very long at all! The veggies on it were fresh tasting. And the potato chips are the best! $5 daily drink specials. Wednesday strawberry daiquiri was very good.

This place is not bad -- it is definitely a tourist themed restaurant and I would say that it's not as good as its competitor directly across from it. The food reminds me of a sports bar... other than that, it is nice to sit outside and see the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk.

Avoid this restaurant!! Food was terrible! But that's not why I'm writing this review! As we were at the end of the mediocre meal two cockroaches crawled across the table! Manager, Frank Perez, was useless. Did absolutely nothing except say how embarrassed he was since they exterminate monthly. Offered no refund! Gave us General Managers number, but he was "on vacation". DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Again, cockroaches and the rudest manager (Frank Perez) that I have ever met!

We tried going to a couple of restaurants in the area but there was a wait. This place advertised kids eat free weekdays during the summer and there wasn't a wait, so we decided to go here. The no wait should have been a clue. We sat at a booth and my daughters were seated next to the wall. We got our beverages and were just being served our apps when my daughter saw a cockroach crawling on the wall next to her. I tried catching the cockroach in a napkin, but unfortunately he fell to the floor. This happened right in front of the girl bringing over our apps. She helped us move to another table and told someone who we assumed was a manager. He came over and I told him what happened. He proceeded to look on the floor by the wall with a flashlight. We ate our meal, which was just ok, and the bisque was extremely salty. When the check came, we were charged for the kids meals. When I pointed out to our server, Stephen, that we shouldn't have been charged, he wasn't even aware of this promotion. Despite this, Stephen was the best part of Mulligans. He said he was going to have the manager take off the kids meals and talk to him about taking a little something extra off because of the cockroach, especially since we didn't bring attention to what happened. About 10 minutes later, the manager, Frank Perez, (different from the first guy we thought was the manager) comes over and gives us the bill and walks away. He has taken off the kids meals, but nothing else. Our server, Stephen, comes over again and asks if everything is ok. I told him only the kids meals were taken off and nothing else. Stephen was like oh no...he was told something else was going to be taken off and he left to talk to the manager again. Frank came over again and he had an attitude that he did us a favor by taking off the kids meals and questioned me why I was unhappy and what did I want? I told him that usually when there is a bug incident at a restaurant...especially one that is witnessed by an employee...the customer is usually given a discount on their bill or given a couple of complimentary desserts or drinks. He told us he didn't want to insult us by doing this. REALLY??? How do you insult someone by doing this??? At this point, we had had it with him and just wanted to leave. He finally did give us a discount, but with an attitude. Stephen stopped by the table and apologized again, and asked if we finally got a discount. As we were leaving a few minutes later, Stephen stopped me and apologized again. Stephen not knowing about the new promotion I chalk up to lack of communication by management. As I said before, Stephen was the best part of Mulligans and he should be manager. Frank Perez needs to find a new profession.

I have been to this bar and grill several times in the last few months with different friends and we all agree that the quality of the food and drinks has gone way down as has the friendly service it once had. I guess for a while they had one of the best happy hours around but lately it seems like they do t want to be bothered with their guests. The drinks just plain suck. My drinks barely tasted like they had any liquor in them at all, mostly all ice and soda. I guess if you order beer they can't do anything to it so if you go, order beer instead of a mixed drink. The flat bread pizza which was one of their best happy hour food items came cold and lame. The service was less than friendly too. It's a bar buoy work for tips. Smile will you ? I'm not going back there till someone tells me they have fixed the problems. That area has many bars and restaurants all within walking distance that serve better drinks and food. Sorry guys. I love you for a while but you let me down too many times. Time for Me to Move on. Perhaps you only work best during high season? Us locals go out year round so time to step up your game.

Went to Mulligan's for breakfast on my last day of vacation in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Wish I would have went on my first day instead... so I could have went again and again. Their breakfast menu has the most variety of any place in town. (I should mention breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.) My friend ordered the sunrise omelette and I had the French connection. Both were delicious! My French toast was thick, perfectly cooked and buttery. My friend's omelette was huge and covered in yummy hollandaise sauce. Our server was friendly and attentive and sitting on their partially shaded patio was the perfect way to end a vacation. Highly recommend!
