Very good lasagna. Very fresh. Cheesesteak small- but with the best taste I've had in Florida so far

My wife and I were totally bummed because the doc says we can't eat pizza, we've snuck out to sneak a pie when no one's looking, the taste is melting in our mouths, we drive halfway across town, and our fav pizza place has gone out of business. Utter devastation. Not wanting to see her husband cry, my wife pounds the word "pizza" into the Yelp browser, and up pops a new place..."Tony's Pasta & Pizza". Ok...it's on the way home. OMG....we split a Meat Lovers & Hawaiian...topped with garlic rolls, a glass of Chianti, and two Coronas. And there's tons of stuff to try on the menu. Not a big place, but charming for "Two guys from New York." Crust is perfect, there's no BS when they say meat lovers, and I can't even finish my pie...which is unprecedented. Our night has not only been saved, but we got a new fav pizza hangout...and much closer to home. Jason provided the service, was friendly, and introduced us around to everyone. Everyone knows New York makes the best pizza, sorry Chicago, and now we got our very own New York Pizzaria right near the house. We're already plotting excuses to go back and try the Lasagna we're not supposed to have. And it looks like Tony's is gonna be providing the Lasagna for our 12 days of Christmas party. Wonderful fresh Italian food...with fresh ingredients...brought to you by "Two guys from New York". But don't tell your doc...

Once again a pizza place with great food but a very serious lack of social skills for whoever is taking the delivery orders. Not only have we forgotten how to speak to customers but we have forgotten how to act like a normal human being. Tony's pasta and pizza I beg you let someone else answer the phone and take delivery orders because who ever is doing it now it's a complete idiot!

We recently moved to Lantana and got a menu from Tony's on our doorstep so we decided to give it a try. It was unusually busy one Sunday night we ordered 2 chicken parm grinders and the delivery (we were being very lazy after moving all weekend) took over an hour. However, somehow our grinders were piping hot and totally delicious. A few weeks later we ordered again (pick up this time) and got the White Special add chicken We're both from up north and this is hands down the BEST pizza we have had since moving to south Florida 3 years ago. The. Best. Reasonably priced and super close we basically won't order pizza from anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

5-star crust with that authentic NY grainy, floury texture beneath it. Eggplant Rolaatini (baked & rolled in cheeses) is exceptional. All the guys up there are really hard workers with northern accents. The Deep Dish style was a bit disappointing after comparing to the city of Chicago... sauce & cheese should go all the way to the edge, and more mozzarella please for that stringy effect. Pro tip Tony: Buy those croutons in mini sealed baggies for To-Go orders, or else they're always soggy by 20 minutes.

I've eaten there numerous times since they opened (Lantana location). I really like their pizza! The pizzas I've had are Cheese pizza, Quattro Formaggi, White Special, Margarita, Pizza Rustica, and Grandma Pizza (thin Sicilian). They were ALL delicious! I wasn't disappointed with not-a-one! The Garlic Rolls and Cheesy Garlic Bread were also delicious! The Calzones are **fabulous!!** The Bruschetta was good. It was just little too zesty/acidic for my personal taste. When my mom was visiting, we ordered take out (we picked up our order, and usually do, vs. having it delivered because it's only 5 minutes away. So, I cannot comment on their delivery service). She had their Eggplant Rollatini and she LOVED it, (which is good because she is very particular when it comes to this dish). I had the Chicken Marsala and it was good! I have had all these dishes because my kitchen was out of service for a while and needed to eat! So, I became a fan of this place because it's local, convenient, and all the food that I've had their so far is really good! The staff is friendly, too! Buon Appetito!

We've ordered here many times. Their pizza is fantastic and their pizza rolls are out of this world. My hubs loves the pepperoni and meatball one and I get spinach and mushroom. They are crisp and painted with garlic butter. I would give them a try you will not be disappointed!

Not sure if they were having an off-day given all of the good reviews, but this was definitely NOT one of my favorites. We called in an order for delivery around 8. They said it would take approx. 40-60min. They were around 10-15min late, which would've been acceptable had the pizza been good. It was not. First, it was the saddest looking "The Works" pizza I've ever seen. Even the DiGiorno ready-made pizza had more toppings. And they weren't evenly distributed, like there was some unknown forcefield in the middle. More importantly, it was extremely cold. Like "overnight pizza left in the fridge" cold. This probably contributed to the taste as well, which I could only describe as salty since all the cheese and crust were hard. We immediately called back and were directed to whom we assume was the manager. He had a very nonchalant attitude, like he wasn't even listening, and stated that they were just busy. He did offer to give us our next pizza free, but when we asked if we needed a reference number or anything, he said "no, we have you on our list". It's pretty appalling that they've had enough complaints to the point where they had a list. I don't think I'm going to be taking him up on his offer...

Not all pizzas are created equal. Tony's proved so today. We ordered two small pies, one Hawaiian and a pepperoni, peppers & cheese. They were delicious!!! We also had hot chicken wigs that were incredibly tasty!!! And, a soft and indulging tiramisu. Yum. Yum... We placed the order online for delivery. Tony's was kind enough to call for directions prior to arriving as the address they received wasn't clear. Tony's delivered the order within the designated time frame. We will definitely order from them again.

The best pizza and calamari around! Tony's has real fresh ingredients including authentic mozzarella! You'd be stupid to choose a chain pizza place instead.

Went in to try the place and it was great. I went for the cheese pizza because hey if you are going to try a new pizza place keep it simple. If they can't get a plain cheese pizza right then why try something more complicated. Anyway the pizza was great. The crust was crispy, the sauce was very tasty with the right amount of cheese. I've been out of the country for six months and craving good American pizza. This pizza reminded me of eating a slice by the coliseum when I visited Rome five years ago. Before eating here I was disappointed. A lot of other local pizzas are not homemade at all and very greasy. Eat here and support this local business! Service was great and fast. Staff was friendly. I looked at the menu and it looks interesting. I can't wait to try some more of their homemade food.

Their calamari is excellent. The chicken francais is delicious. The garlic bread and side salad that comes with the meal are wonderful. This is not your usual take out pizza place but a very good place for great italian food.

Unfortunately I had a poor first experience. I ordered delivery - a cheese pizza and one desert. Delivery was estimated at 45 minutes and ended up arriving one hour and 45 minutes after the order was placed. When the person delivering the food finally arrived, they said NOTHING - they just handed me the pizza said "here, you good" and walked away. The food of course was very cold. Disappointed!

By far the best delivery pizza I've had in Lake Worth! Great crust, sauce and fresh toppings. Just the right amount of toppings and cheese.

Exceptional pizza, and I must say that I consider myself a pizza snob. This the best pizza in all palm beach county. I ordered a margarita pizza and it taste amazingly! The ingredients are so fresh, plenty fresh basil, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella, not to mention the crust, that is to die for. So far, it's the best I had since I lived in New Orleans. The service is also excellent. I'm so happy that Tony's Pizza opened up near my house!

Omg. Amazing food. Had calzones and their silican pizza which they call deep dish is amazing. It's how it should be made and I had it white. Even better. Amazing pizza that I couldn't find for a long time and now I did. Yay Tony's

Ordered through Grub Hub- salad was great, very fresh. We ordered 2 cheesesteaks but only received one. Nothing special. Still waiting for 2nd sandwich,40 minutes so far. I guess when the foods already paid for and the driver is tipped 6 dollars on a 28.00 order, there's no reason to provide decent customer service.

Wow--what a find! We heard about this place bc some menus were left in the mail room of my parents' condo building. We ordered 3 pizzas (1 Sicilian, 1 pepperoni, 1 margherita) chicken Marsala, spaghetti and meatballs and a bruschetta appetizer for delivery. We had some sort of delivery glitch where the food took about 80 minutes to arrive, but even so everything was still pretty good. The chicken Marsala was a big hit--well cooked, well seasoned, lots of sauce and a huge bed of spaghetti under the chicken. The spaghetti and meatballs entree was good, although the insides of the meatballs were slightly underdone :-(. The highlight for me: the pizzas...the margherita had tons of fresh basil and fresh mozzarella, you could also taste lots of fresh garlic. Definitely quality ingredients and freshly prepared. One small suggested tweak is on the bruschetta--The tomatoes were perfectly seasoned and clearly very fresh, with just the right amount of fresh onion for crunch, and the bread was great quality and toasted just like in Italy, but I would have liked less balsamic glaze as I felt the heavy dose of sweetness overwhelmed the fresh tomato taste. Overall, I will definitely, definitely order from here again. Ps, all entrees come with garlic bread and a small Caesar salad. Portions are large.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
