Dirty, noisy, unorganized dump with less than satisfactory service. Go watch the "cook" smoke cigarettes in the parking lot, then go touch your food without washing his hands. Horrifying dump.

Best breakfast place around! Homemade everything including the service, which is fast and friendly. This is a charming family restaurant passed down three generations. Don't mistake the kind grandmotherly figure at the register for Pearl, that's Pearl's daughter who recently passed ownership of this third generation restaurant to her son.

Went here with a group from work. If there was a rating of less then a single star it would apply to this place. Restaurant itself was disgusting! Food was terrible. Looked at my fellow co-horts food and thought to myself they will have a abdominal emergency later. Denny's would've been better then this dump. May have been nice in it's hey day, but most certainly not now.

Love, love, love this hole in the wall!!! Best breakfast diner around!!! Service was impeccable with southern charm. Food was spot on and filling at reasonable prices. I don't hand out 5 stars often but this deserves it. Keep in mind the atmosphere is not fine dining but food and service is top notch!

Not as good as it used to be, over medium eggs were runny recently with super slow service, lots of better local places to have breakfast.

Pearls has gone way down in service and food! We use to love this place, the last 3 times we have been there we were over charged on our drinks and we had to argue with them to be able to use our groupon! The air conditioner was not working again and the food was over cooked. We will not be going again. If you go make sure you count your drinks and check the prices!

Service is TERRIBLE here. The food is just as bad, very greasy! Salty and over seasoned.

2 weeks in a row that our order was "lost". Waited for food for over an hour today just to find out that the kitchen didn't even have our order. Do you think either of the waitresses - week 1 or 2 - ever stopped by and thought - jeewiz - why don't they have food??!

I am a newbie to Pearl's and I really love it. Pearl's has become my favorite breakfast spot, much better than Denny's or IHOP. The food has always been great and the service was quite good. I have been about 3 times for breakfast. They have the best egg white, mushroom and swiss cheese omelet I've ever had! You can't taste the grill at Pearl's like the aforementioned breakfast places. I had lunch once and the pot roast was really good too, as was the bean soup. The prices are more affordable than the chains as well. I was really surprised to see any bad reviews. Can't wait to go on a weekend and try their bloody marys, which were highly recommended by a local bartender at a chain establishment. Thumbs up!

I love the staff, but get sick from the grease. The food makes me ill so I stay away. Good prices and friendly staff! I've really only been for breakfast so I'm not sure about lunch or dinner but I know they have nightly specials!

Oh my, how come I haven't been here before?! After an early beach yoga session, the boyfriend, his buddy, and myself were looking for a good breakfast with mimosas. They mentioned "Pearl's" and I was totally down to try a new place out. It was busy when we arrived, but we managed to snatch a booth for the three of us instantly. We were warmly greeted and offered water, juice, coffee, mimosas, Bloody Mary's - such a lovely southern charm in her voice! We opted for three coffees, three mimosas and some water. After the coffee and water arrived, the mimosas did shortly after. They were actually legit tasting mimosas (and 2 for $7.50? You can't beat that.) We ordered our food and began the waiting period. We were constantly being offered refills on our coffee and water from revolving waitresses passing by with the coffee carafe; I think I must have had 4-5 cups of coffee without noticing. The food took a little while to come out, but it was GOOD! The bacon was crispy, my eggs were fluffy, and the rye toast was buttered perfectly. Seriously, I don't think I've eaten breakfast that fast before and I cleared the plate entirely. My companions were equally as happy and I encourage you to give them a try, at least once.

I really wanted to like this place, given the reviews. I came for breakfast and regretted it. After a long wait watching the multiple employees focus on their non-customer related tasks from my booth, the was finally able to I order two eggs scrambled with toast and home fries when my waitress stopped by. She spent more time with the tables where men were the customers, which bothered my mom to no end, but I am pretty used to it. After all, it is her tip, not mine if she didn't want to be attentive. After 1/2 hour, seriously a 1/2 hour, my meal arrived. The eggs were warm, the home fries were cold and the toast was so cold the butter wasn't even melted. And for what I paid, it looked like they were rationing out the food. Turns out, didn't matter how much they gave or didn't, the food was so cold and coagulated I ended up not eating it. Paid my bill and left. Least to say, after apologizing to my mom profusely, I will never return.

Took the family there for breakfast after Church. Service was extremely slow. Three tables who placed their orders several minutes after us were served before us. Waitress made no appologies or acknowleded the slow service. The lady at the register did not ask anything about service or quality of meal. Definately would never go baxk.

Haven't been to Lantana for 3-4 years. So went to our old favorite breakfast place. Pearls went through a face lift. The old shelves full of odd bottles and the dim lighting are gone. Replaced with light colored walls and modern bright lighting. Food was good and served fast. The servers were down home friendly, one a real character. Don't miss the strawberry rhubarb pie!

This place is a time machine...and that is why it's great. The food is simple and the prices are good- a basket of onion rings was only $4 and they were straight tasty! I love that it's a diner/dive/bar combo too. Also, our waiter was super attentive and really friendly- everyone there was. We will be back for sure. We didn't try them, but the desserts were tempting. Who serves strawberry rhubarb pie in an unpretentious way anymore..and 7up cake? Yeah, we will SO be back.

Great local diner. Don't expect filet because that's not what Pearls is about. Great conversation, affordable drinks and eats and fun activities like trivia and Elvis. We like being regulars here. Try the breakfast! It's diner food just like you would hope!

Going to this restaurant is like stepping back in time. Come get your comfort food and some good ol' southern hospitality at Pearl's. The food could have been better. You would probably get a more consistently good breakfast at a Cracker Barrell or Waffle House. I had an egg white denver omelette with home fries. My mom had one of the combo breakfast plates with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, and french toast. Cons: I could tell the omelette was cooked on the flat top (rather than a saute pan) so the egg whites completely spread out and it was more like a crepe. I was missing the fluffiness of a really good omelette. The potatoes were crispy, but needed some salt and paprika in their lives. The french toast was a little burnt (due to the flat top being too hot where they cooked it), but other than that it was ok. Pros: The sausage was delish and my mom's eggs were cooked to a perfect over easy. We also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were on the cakey side instead of flaky, but the gravy made up for it. It was well seasoned and had lots of sausage. I probably won't return to Pearl's any time soon. The food was average and there were too many loud families and screaming children for me. But if you happen to have a loud family and/or screaming children, you might want to stop by Pearl's for some home cooking. You'll fit right in.

We were told a 20 minute wait on a Saturday morning at about 10. We ended up waiting 1hr and 30 mins for our food! people were getting set around us and told the same thing, but ended up leaving after they waited about 45 minutes. It was ridiculous and when we did get our food it wasn't good enough to eat! we had a couple bites and left! I will never be back

Good food, great prices, and they deliver! Their newest schtick is calling themselves a sports bar but nothing has changed.

Client of mine introduced me to this very low key diner. Very local joint with hearty meals, daily specials on the wall. My wife loves when i tell her we are going to have breakfast here. She loves their omelletes and home fries with a cup of coffee! I had stuffed raisen french toast last time there! Yum! No coat and tie needed. Jeans and shorts typical!

We go for breakfast here all the time. The food is good, the service is quick , and the staff is very personable. Very down to earth and nothing fancy- just the way I like it.
